30th September 2009 || Leigh's neighbourhood Leigh couldn't stay in her house any longer. She was feeling her skin crawl, just knowing that today was the day when she would head outside and hopefully find the person who had killed her father, or find someone who knew something about it. Sure, it had been like nine years ago when her father was killed, but still Leigh had this burning desire the whole time to find and kill the person who had done harm to her family. So grabbing her bag, Leigh went over to the lounge room, and picked up some paper, a pen, and her watch. She then made her way to the kitchen, where she went to the fridge to get a bottle of water. Before leaving this room, she crouched down, to reach the bottom draw, and found what she was looking for. She dropped the pocket knife into her bag, and then got up, and headed out the door. She wondered where she should go first. Leigh had been stuck inside her place for about three weeks, trying to create a plan of attack on her end. She had been in contact with her mother, who really wasn't much help anymore. She had also lost contact with her older siblings, ever since the day Leigh went all dark side. She just had to find the killer of their father, even if it killed her. Leigh soon decided to head to the park. Who cares if she was out in the open. Maybe that right person might just spot her, recognising her somehow. Leigh slowly walked over to the next available bench, and just plopped down on it. She scanned the area close to her. There were many trees around, not letting a lot of sun in where she was. That was fine with Leigh. She was into the whole sun thing anyway. Leigh moved her bag from off her shoulder, and then placed it beside her on the bench. Opening it up, she pulled out the pen and paper, and read through her notes so far on her well thought out plan.

Xavier had no idea why he was back in California, it wasn't as if it had done him any good the last time. He had failed to get Rebekah and finish her off a few times now. She always seemed to have someone to help her, and it was getting old, and it was getting frustrating and annoying. However, the last time he had seen her, and tried to get her, was back in New York, after his shoulder had healed from the last meeting which proved a dead end again, he decided to just give up. He was never going to get that girl killed, she had too many people in her life who cared about her, it was just so annoying.
So now, he was walking through the streets of sunny California, and found a park. Parks could be fun, they was often full of idiots and young couples making out. Xavier loved nothing better than to cause trouble and mayhem for them. He was that much of a bastard. Usually. However, right now, he wasn't feeling that much of a bastard. It was almost like he was losing his edge or something.
As he continued to walk through the park, he finally found a bench, and thought he'd just sit down and be with his thoughts. However, a young female beat him to it. Normally if that had happened to him before, he would start messing around, teasing them, torturing them, but something made him hold back this time. For a start she was rather stunning, too bad if she was a hero, but he was willing to try his luck and find out more about her before making any judgments.
Maybe he was going a little soft. He shuddered at the thought, but continued to make his way over to the bench, and sat down, not too near to her, but near enough. "Have I seen you somewhere before? Do I know you or something?" He couldn't think of anything else to say to break the ice so to speak, but there seemed to be something which was drawing him to her, and he didn't know what the hell it was.

Leigh moved the papers around a little, to get some light, in order to read what she had written. She just hoped that she would be able to find someone who might be able to pin point the person who had left her father to die that fateful day. Just the though of it was making her start up the anger inside her all over again. Leigh had stayed at home, inside the past few weeks, in order for herself to get a grip, and calm some of that very old anger inside her. It had helped somewhat, so that she could clear her head, and see if she could meet up with anyone who might know of her situation.
Just as Leigh was about to start to write down some more notes, she heard someone talk to her. She jumped a little, as she hadn't even felt them sit down on the same bench. "No. I don't think so." She eye balled him, glaring slightly, and then looked down at her paper. Leigh knew that she had to start finding out if anyone knew about her father's death, and she didn't have time to chat to this nobody right now. She quickly shoved the paper and pen into her bag, and got up.
She looked at the guy, who had been sitting at a distance, which she wondered about. Was he there to hurt her, or did he infact think that he knew her. She looked him up and down, slowly. "If I did know you, I doubt I would have remember you. Sorry, but I am in a hurry. I have to find info on my father's death, and I don't think that you would be in any way helpful." With that Leigh turned and began to walk away.

Xavier had no idea why he felt compelled to ask the woman if he knew her, and when she replied, he had almost wished he hadn't bothered stopping, never mind speaking to her. The way she eye balled him, glaring at him slightly, told him that she might be one of the bad guys, but he couldn't take that for granted. He put his hands up as if in surrender, "Alright, only asked." He glared back at her, and he was just about to get up and leave, when she started to pack things away, and stood up. So he just sat where he was.
He then caught her looking at him, from the side of his eye, she was basically looking him up and down, and then she spoke again. She said if she did know him, she probably wouldn't remember him, and then said she was in a hurry to find info on her father's death and that she didn't think he would be any way helpful. Well, maybe he wouldn't know who killed her father, but he didn't think he would be entirely useless. Not when you had a power like he had, when you could suffocate someone, drown someone, burn someone or bury them.
He stood up slowly then, "Maybe I can't help you on who caused your father's death, but I wouldn't say I couldn't be of any help to you." He then moved his hands, into fists, and then looking down at the ground, just behind the woman, he made a parting gesture, with his hands, causing the ground just behind her to open up. The ground opening up made a terrible noise, almost to that of the sound you got from an earthquake.
He then conjured a fireball out of nowhere, and threw it into the open ground, causing an almost volcanic appearance, then with another flick of his hand, and concentration he caused a mini whirlwind around where the fire was, making it spread across the full crevice in the ground he had caused, before walking nearer and conjuring water to put the fire out, leaving a burnt out piece of ground, before once again putting his hands into fists, and then with his arms outstretched, he closed them together, closing the ground where it had earlier been wide open.
"Now, tell me again, you don't think I would be in any way helpful!"

Leigh watched as this guy put his hands up in a kind of surrender pose, after she basically told him flat out that she didn't know him. She had really looked at him, still feeling the determination and anger about all that had happened all that time ago with her father. But really, that never died down at all. Inside she was still a volcano ready to explode, and anyone that got in her way, that was useless, just got hurt.
She saw him glare at her, which she probably deserved, after she had done the same to him. Then Leigh just told him that he wouldn't be able to help, then went to get up and leave. He seemed like a waste of her time, and she didn't need to waste anymore. She had things to do, and that was more important than striking up a conversation with a random person.
Leigh had started to walk away, when the guy spoke to her. She stopped, and frowned. She sighed looking up at the sky. How could this guy possibily help her in what she was planning on doing. Leigh turned around, and then looked down at the ground, which had started to open up right at her feet. Her facial expression soon turned to one of disbelief and horror. Leigh's mouth was hanging open, not sure what to make of what was happening before her eyes. The sound was horrible, which led to Leigh putting her hands right up to her ears, to block it out.
Leigh looked at the guy, still with her hands over her ears, and watched what he did next. A fireball was created, and it was thrown into the open ground. Leigh was scared to look down into the open ground, which was now on fire, after the guy made a large amount of wind to spread it across the entire bit of ground that had opened up. As Leigh stared at the fire, she began to feel less scared, and more intrigued. Then the fire was put out with water that the guy had magically conjoured up. And before she could look at the guy, the ground was once again whole.
Leigh slowly removed her hands from her ears, and slowly looked up at the guy. She was feeling more relaxed now, and rather curious. Then the guy spoke to her, which made her smirk a little, pouting her lips. Leigh slowly closed the gap between them, and looked him straight in the face with her brown eyes. She looked from one eye, to the next, and then smiled, with a tilt of her head. "You might just be the help that I am needing."
Leigh then stepped back, after grinning more at him, and put her hand out. "Leigh Ann Casey." It seemed to Leigh that she might just have met a fellow Evolved Human, that definately seemed in her league.

When the woman had began to walk away from him and said that she didn't he would be of any help anyway, Xavier had decided to possibly make her re-think what she had just said, by starting to use his ability, showing off what he could do basically. With the noise of the ground parting, he saw her put her hands up over her ears, obviously trying to drown out the noise.
Xavier had then went on to show off the other aspects of his ability as well, by conjuring fire, then causing wind to spread it, and then putting it out by conjuring water, and finally closing the ground over again, as if he hadn't done anything to it in the first place. He then watched as she removed her hands slowly from her ears, and looked up at him. Xavier just looked at her, and asked for her to tell him again why he wouldn't be in any way helpful to her.
He then saw a smirk come across her face, and pout her lips slightly and then she closed the gap between them, and stared at him, looking from one eye to the other. The whole time Xavier kept himself expression and emotion free. Nobody would normally get this close to him without having him do something particularly nasty, but something about this woman stopped him.
She then tilted her head with a smile and said that he might just be the help she was needing. "Well, why don't you tell me more about what you're trying to do then. This is a pretty powerful ability I possess, and it's very good for getting people out the way quickly with no evidence left." He gave her a slight wink then, he was of course referring to being able to bury people alive.
She then stepped back, grinning at him and held her hand out, giving him her name. He couldn't help but smile at her himself then, and took the offered hand, "Xavier Beckett, and it's a pleasure to meet you Leigh Ann."

The guy was showing no expression at all, as she looked at him. This kind of thing made her think that maybe he was definately going to be someone like her: not a good person to be around. Leigh hadn't met hardly any people who were up to no good, all goody too shoes in her eyes. Leigh had then finally spoken, saying the he might be just the help she needed. The next thing the guy said, again confirmed what she had been thinking about him. "I think I should so that we can get things started. It sounds like we both like to get plans underway quickly."
Leigh held out her hand for him to take, introducing herself, and soon found out the guy's name. She caught is name and that smile of his. Leigh was not a softy at heart, but liked what she was seeing. "Pleased to meet you Xavier." She let go of his hand, and moved over to sit back on the bench.
"And I also think that your ability will definately come in handy. It does look much more powerful than my own ability, whichis phasing. But I do love to tickle their hearts before I yank them out of their chests." Leigh burst out laughing then. She hadn't done that little manuever in a few weeks. "Maybe you can do something with the people, or person, that I have to speak to, in order to hold them down, then I can do my think."
Leigh then put her bag down, and decided to begin telling him why she was doing what she was doing, and what she had planned. "I suppose I should give you a bit of a backstory to why I am doing , what I am doing. When I was a teenager, my father was putting me to the test in order to see what my ability can do. He had this thing set in his mind that I was going to work for him, and use my ability for all the wrong reasons. I was detesting it, but anyway. One day I found my father lying on the ground where he works, where he had been obviously been hurt. I didn't know a lot back then, but it did look like he had been electricuted. I was there with him until he died, which happend quickly. So now, the last ten years I have been trying to track down anyone who knew anything. Anyone that gets in my way gets killed."
Leigh was getting quite angry then, and began to screw the paper in her hands. She noticed this, and let the paper go, smooting it out on her lap. "I just get so angry, thinking that the person who was responsible could very well still be out there, when I just want to see them dead."

"Seems like you're reading me well. I don't believe in hanging around with anything." Xavier replied when the woman said that he seemed to be like her when it came to getting things done. Well there was at least one thing they had in common thought Xavier, a good sign indeed. He wasn't exactly a warm type of person, but with this woman he might just be able to make an exception, and everybody needs love in their life right? Wait a minute, love? He'd only just met the woman, he mentally slapped himself.
It was than that the woman introduced herself, and he did the same, giving her a small smile. A smile which broadened slightly when she said she was pleased to meet him. It made him smirk on the inside, it wasn't every day that someone said they were pleased to meet him, but then usually he would have hurt the person in question by now in one way or another.
When she spoke of having phasing as an ability it took him back to Rayne, the crazy woman who just upped and left him all those months ago, she had phasing too. "That ability is more of a weapon than you give it credit for by the sounds of things." However, when she spoke of tickling hearts before ripping them out, Xavier couldn't help but give off an evil laugh after her own. "Now, you're definitely my type of woman, very glad I am that I didn't just go off on one and hurt you like I would normally have done meeting someone for the first time." He gave her a grin then, one which to others would look like a sadistic one, then again, maybe it was a sadistic one, not exactly sure Xavier can grin or smile in any other way apart from sadistic.
"Well, there's different ways of keeping someone held while another can interrogate in their own special way. Element Control is beautiful for that, a build up of earth around them, or simply have their feet buried underground. All sorts of things really." Just thinking about what he could do, was making him feel good. What was making him feel even better, was knowing the pain he would be causing would be benefiting another.
Xavier soon sat down next to Leigh as she began to tell him her story, and he listened carefully, nodding his head in several places, just to acknowledge her and when she seemed to have finished, Xavier frowned. "I can understand your frustrations Leigh Ann and I understand about killing people who get in the way. I've been trying to track down a girl who killed some of my friends for about a year now." He sighed thinking about that girl Rebekah, he was just going to give up, she always had someone protecting her. "I'll gladly do anything I can to help you."
He wasn't sure where this little journey would take him with Leigh, but wherever it took him, he was going to make sure he had a blast on the way, and he was going to be helping a rather good looking brunette at the same time. Wasn't exactly a difficult thing to do really. He saw the anger build within her as she got to the end of her little speech, but he couldn't really blame her. When she screwed up the piece of paper, he so wanted to put his hand on her arm, but felt like it might not be something she appreciated, at least, not until she got to know him better.
"It's alright, I understand, no need for apologies, well, if they are still out there, then, hopefully with both of us on the case, they wont be alive for long?" Xavier rubbed his hands together then at the prospect of having a purpose again, one which didn't include trying to take out a girl who had people protecting her at every turn, since she became a god damned Petrelli.

Leigh heard Xavier mention about her ability being more a weapon then she gave it credit for. She always just did the whole 'put the hand in the chest and take the heart' trick all the time. Maybe this guy might know a thing or two about her abilily. When she had mentioned about tickling hearts before ripping them and laughed, she watched as Xavier joined her in the humour of it all. She eased up on the laughing long enough to hear him talk. Leigh raised her eyebrows. "Well, I am glad too. Then I wouldn't have been around to tell you my plans." She then continued. "Well, lucky for me then that I made a good first impression."
Leigh laughed again, as Xavier grinned at her. That grin of his was kind of creepy, but somehow it suited Xavier. Well, really, he was a villain like herself, and everyone needs a trademark smile. That was his, and she liked it. "You mentioned about my ability being more of a weapon. You know more about it then I do?" She looked into Xavier's eyes from one eye to the next. "My father tried to teach me things, but he passed before anymore could be done."
Xavier then spoke about different ways of interrogating people using his ability. Leigh nodded, just visualising everything he was telling her. Well, it seemed that Xavier might not have to physically hold them down. He would just conguer up something for the person to be grounded on the spot. "Well, I look forward to see what you can do with your ability. Visually seeing it in my head is not the same as seeing it for real, right in front of my eyes." Leigh had seen some abilities, where her father had shown her how to use her ability for evil. But had never come across the ability that Xavier possessed. She had seen what he could do, but not what he could do to a squealing human or evolved human.
Leigh began to tell Xavier her story, after he sat next to her on the bench. As the story unfolded, Leigh had gotten so angry at the part where she witnessed her father on the ground, near death, then watched as he died quickly. Xavier mentioned about how he understand about her getting frustrated, as he added that he had been tracking down a girl, who had killed some of his friends. She would have to ask him more about that later. Maybe if he helped her, she could help me with his problem.
Then she told him about her getting angry over it all. Leigh hadn't cried tears over the whole ordeal since she left her family to go in search of the killer, and that was nine years ago. She was too angry to cry, but knew that one of these days her hard exterier would soon enough crack and it would all end up being too much. Leigh gave him a half smile, when he mentioned that whoever it is won't be alive for long, with both of them on the case. "Well, I hope so. I just want this whole nightmare to be over. I just want to see them suffer like my father obviously suffered through what they did to him."
Leigh got up from the bench, with her fists glenched. "I just want to see the fear in their eyes, like my father had in his when I rushed to his side." A lone jogger ran by them then. Without hesitation, Leigh turned, and rammed her fist in their chest, and pulled out their beating heart. The jogger instantly dropped to the ground, eyes wide. Leigh turned to Xavier, pointing to the slow beating heart. "This is what I want in my hands as they slowly die."
She stood and stared at the heart, as it stopped beating. Blood on the ground, and all over her hands. The adrenaline and anger inside her was too much, and she looked at Xavier wide eyed. "I... can you bury them, and this," she said, looking down at the dead heart in her hand. Leigh was in some sort of shock, as she hadn't done that in so long. It was like it was all new to her somehow. She just couldn't move, hoping that Xavier could do something before someone walked by to see what had just happened.

"I'm glad you were able to tell me your plans, and I hope I can help and you made more than a good first impression." Xavier meant what he said, even his voice was dark, but then he couldn't help being that way, he was the villain for so long now, it was difficult to change the tone of his voice just because he had fallen for a woman. Wait, had he fallen for this woman? He wasn't threatening her, and he was offering to help her with her issues. Xavier was never normally that unselfish, maybe he was falling for her. He shook his head slightly, and mentally slapped himself, it was better for him not to think like that and focus on the matter at hand.
He was quick to notice her laughing at him, when he grinned his trade mark evil grin. He liked her laugh. She then went on to ask about her ability being more of a weapon and did he know more about it and that her father died before being able to teach her more about it. "Well, I've come across a woman before who had the ability you possess, and she was dangerous with it. Phasing your hand in ripping out their heart or brain is fun sure, but it kills them immediately. It can be more of a weapon, because you can actually use your ability to really torture someone." Xavier stopped for a break then, grinning at her manically before continuing.
"Just think, you want to ask someone questions, and they aren't answering you very well. Just phase your hand into their shoulder, ooh painful. Hear them cry out, but it won't be enough to kill them. Still no answer, phase your hand into their other shoulder. You can also bury someone underground, by wrapping your arms around them, phasing yourself into the ground and leaving them there. Heaps of things you could do, other than just ripping out their heart of brain."
Had he given away too much about the ability he began to wonder? After all, she was a villain, like himself, who was to say she wouldn't just suddenly turn on him, and start using the tips he had given her on himself. Not like he had the ability to heal, he had the ability of Element Control, at least that's what he thinks. Xavier actually has the ability of Intuitive Aptitude, it's why he is so clever with things, and can fix them easily. He just doesn't realise it, and thinks he's just generally quite clever. He's also picked up seven abilities along the way empathically through his main ability not even realising he has done it. It's going to be a fun ride for Xavier as each ability comes into manifestation.
"Well if I'm going to help you, then the chances are very high you will soon see my ability put to good work on someone." As he said this he had involuntarily flicked his wrist, and the next thing he knew the bench opposite where he stood suddenly turned over completely. He immediately turned round, wondering if someone else had approached them. But there was nobody there. "That was strange, there wasn't even a gust of win..." He trailed his voice off, wondering about something. He had always thought his ability was Element Control, what if it was something else instead? Something he could pick up abilities.
He flicked his wrist again in the direction of another bench and the same thing happened. "Hah!" He couldn't believe it. He turned to Leigh, "Looks like I have more than just Element Control, or maybe I don't even have that." Just then someone came walking along the park and looked at the over turned benches with a raised eyebrow. Xavier couldn't resist having a bit of fun now. It looked like he had telekinesis as well now. So he flicked his wrist again, and the bench rolled back and into the path of the person, making them trip up. Xavier laughed hysterically. "Oh, this is good. This is very good." In fact, he had forgotten he had someone with him, but only for a few seconds. He soon noticed some broken glass on the ground, "Look at this Leigh."
He then used his finger, focusing, he lifted the pieces of glass up and moved them toward the guy, and then with one flick of his wrist, they all went shooting into the guy's stomach. The guy then just slumped over onto the rolled over bench. "This is fucking awesome." He couldn't help but swear, it added to the mood of how he felt, and he felt damned good right then. "Is that enough of a visual for you Leigh?" He asked with a massive evil grin on his face, then realising he would have to do something fast to get rid of the body. So with his Element Control, which he thinks he has, but in fact it's actually Terrakinesis, he parted the ground and then kicked the body in, covering it back up again quickly, making it look like the ground had never been touched.
He had then sat on the bench and Leigh began to tell him her story. When she had got to the end of her story she was so angry, but it had only to be expected. He had then told Leigh about his trying to track down this girl who had killed some of his friends. So it looked like they might be good for each other, in some weird and twisted way. "Oh don't worry, we will make them suffer, with your killer of an ability and the fact I now seem to have telekinesis as well as Element Control, if that's what indeed I have, I am sure we will take them down good and proper."
Xavier then watched as Leigh got up from the bench with her fists clenched together, and then, just like what happened with Xavier earlier, someone came by, a jogger and Xavier watched as Leigh phased her hand into his chest and pulled out his beating heart. She had then turned to him, saying she wanted their heart in her hands when they slowly died. "And that's what will happen, we'll make sure of it. I've never worked with someone before, so you must be special, hope you realise that." He gave her a bit of a wink then, yes Xavier Beckett was definitely flirting with Leigh, well even the most evil bad guys needed someone in their life to call their own, right?
Leigh then asked him if she could bury the jogger and the heart, just like he had done with the guy he had killed earlier. He nodded his head, "Sure sweetheart." He then used his hands to once more open the ground up in front of them, he kicked the dead body in, and then he looked at Leigh, "Drop it in." When she had, he used his hands to close the ground back over again, now it looked once more like nothing had gone wrong, apart from the blood on Leigh's hands. Xavier went into his pocket and pulled out a clean handkerchief and passed it to her. "Might be good for us to head to a cafe or something, then you can get those hands of yours properly cleaned up. If you're up for it."

Leigh had to tell someone her plan, especially this someone who sure seemed like they were very evil indeed. Her kind of person. She had missed out on so much hanging with someone like Xavier. Though really, she hadn't been with anyone who was evil minded since her father. So this was a first for her.
She listened to Xavier talking about her own ability. Leigh had only used it to remove hearts, but hearing all that Xavier was saying about how she could actually use her ability. She had been so used to just quickly killing people, she never gave them the chance to actually tell her anything, if they denied knowing anything. So hearing about just phasing her hand in other places of their body for fun and torture was intriguing her.
"Okay. I think I understand what you are saying. Just looking at you, I can mentally visualise what I could do to your body. But I won't do it, because you are here to hopefully help me with my situation." Using her finger, she touched his shoulder. "So I could put my hand here," Leigh said, looking up at him, all doe eyed. She then moved her hand to his waist. "Then I could do a bit of damage here, hitting your hip bone." Leigh then moved her finger away, and stepped back. She smiled sweetly at him then, "I am sure that I will have fun with the person who we might meet up with along the way."
Leigh again listened to Xavier, as he spoke about her seeing his ability put to good work on someone. She nodded in agreement. Leigh was certain of it. Why else would she be working with someone on this hunt for the person who killed her father. She then frowned when he turned around, and then Leigh saw what he was looking at. A bench was turned over. That was not something you saw everyday. Leigh saw him then flick his wrist, and another bench turned over. She raised her eyebrows, wondering if he was hiding something from her and was just playing dumb. Then he spoke. So he wasn't just playing dumb. He in fact had another ability. "Well whatever it is, I am sure that it will help."
Leigh almost burst out laughing, when a person walked by, looking over at the over turned benches. Putting her hand over her mouth to muffle the laughter, she watched as the bench was then moved in the path of the person walking, and they tripped over it. She turned to look at Xavier, joining in his laughter, feeling tears forming in her eyes from all the laughter. He then told her to look, and she turned to look at what he was going to do next for his next performance. Leigh watched as the broken glass lifted off the ground and then it all moved quickly into the guy, who had been walking, and went into his stomach. Xavier replied with much enthusiasm, and Leigh removed her hands from her face, and clapped. "Bravo." She then watched as Xavier opened up the ground, and kicked the guy in the open section, then closed it up again. "I think it is more than enough of a visual Xavier."
"Good. I can't wait," Leigh said, rubbing her hands together, after Xavier said that they would in deed make whoever was to blame suffer. "After our little adventure, we might just have to see what abilities you indeed have there. You might be surprised, and may even be able to cause more trouble then you are already." She wondered if what she could do now with her ability, if she would end up the same. Leigh had never wanted to be mean in the first place, but since her father's death, that was all she knew.
After Leigh had phased into that jogger's chest, and pulled out their heart, she was in a kind of shock from doing it. Looking at Xavier through wide eyes, she asked for him to bury the jogger, and the heart that had stopped beating in her hand. Once Xavier kicked the body into the ground he just opened up, he told her to drop in the heart, which she quickly did, like it was made of hot coals or something. The ground then closed up, and the only evidence from that little stint was the blood on her hands. Just looking at that was making Leigh kind of calm down a bit. She hadn't meant to be so angry and lash out, or maybe she did mean it. Everyone deserved to die, and unfortunately that guy's time was up in Leigh's eyes.
Her eyes continued to look at her blood covered hand, and then it was covered up. She looked at Xavier, seeing that he had infact handed her a handkerchief. Leigh slowly wiped at the blood, that was starting to come off, but still was stained to her hand. She listened to what he said, and nodded. "Um, yeah, you might be right. Sorry, just a little shaken up. Haven't done that for so long. I feel like I did the first time I ripped out a heart. The adrenalin and fear just got to me. I will be okay."
Leigh left the handkerchief in her bloody hand, and with her clean hand picked up her bag, flinging it over her shoulder. She started to head in the direction of the cafe at the end of the path. "There is a cafe like a couple of minutes from here, just at the end of the path." Leigh quickly walked, but not noticing how quickly she was walking. She just wanted her hand cleaned up, and continue to plan out what she wanted to do with Xavier's help. Hopefully this girl that he knew about might just be the person who either might have been involved, or might know more about her father's death.

After Xavier had explained to Leigh how she could use her ability more to her advantage in a dangerous way, using it as more of a weapon than she seemed to be doing, she said she thought she understood, and soon he felt her finger on the area where his shoulder was, and she spoke. He let her continue to speak, as her finger moved from his shoulder to his waist and then she stepped back smiling saying she felt like she might have fun with the person they might meet up with along the way. Xavier grinned manically at her. “That’s exactly right, like I said, you could have so much fun watching someone suffer slowly, and hear their cries of pain and anguish.” Xavier laughed manically again. He then had a thought, wondering how the lovely Miss Rebekah Petrelli would face up to Leigh, what with them both sharing the same ability. It would be very interesting indeed.
Xavier then discovered he had another ability over and above what he thought was Element Control as he realised he had turned over a bench when he had involuntarily flicked his hand. Just to make sure that he had indeed caused the bench to turn over, he flicked his wrist again in the direction of another, and yes, he had indeed flipped it over as well. He had then told Leigh it looked like he had another ability and he could only grin at her as she replied. “Yeah, I am sure it will help too, feels a lot like telekinesis to me, an ability where you can move things with your mind, as that’s what it certainly looks like I was just able to do there.”
The next thing someone walked by, staring at the turned over benches, and Xavier couldn’t help but have a little fun, moving one of them, causing the person to trip up. He then moved the broken pieces of glass on the ground and flicked his wrist, making them all shoot into the guy’s stomach, killing him. It was quite funny, well to Xavier, and he was rather enthusiastic over finding out he could do such a thing. Leigh seemed to join in with his celebration by clapping her hands, and saying ‘bravo’, Xavier just raised his eyebrows and grinned at her. “Quite the little weapon I seem to have got myself. I might have to look into my ability more, find out exactly what I do have, as it seems I’m capable of doing a few things now.” After Xavier said that, Leigh spoke, saying after their little adventure they might have to find out exactly what abilities he did indeed have, that he might be surprised and be able to cause even more trouble. He nodded his head slowly, “You’re right, it will certainly be fun finding out, especially when I thought I had Element Control, but with finding out about this extra ability of telekinesis, it makes me wonder if I have pyrokinesis and terrakinesis and some sort of water manipulation.” Which meant he must have had a main ability which was allowing him to gain all these other ones, but what the hell did he have?
After Xavier had his little bit of fun with killing an innocent person, it seemed it was Leigh’s turn to kill an innocent person, and soon enough she was asking him to get rid of the evidence, which he gladly did, by opening the ground up, kicking the body inside, and asking Leigh to drop the heart into the space. Once that was done, he closed the ground up, with the only evidence, the blood on Leigh’s hands. Xavier then handed her a handkerchief and suggested they make their way to a cafe in order for her to clean her hands up properly. It was all good to do nasty things like they had just done, but you never wanted to get caught. Leigh then apologised saying she was a little shaken, Xavier shook his head, “It’s alright, no need to apologise sweetheart. These things happen, didn’t I just go off on one and kill someone myself before?” He had a massive evil grin on his face, Xavier just couldn’t help being the ultimate villain, it was fun, and he got a kick out of it.
Leigh then pointed out there was a cafe fairly near to where they were, and Xavier nodded his head. “That’s fine, the sooner we get you cleaned up the better.” He winked at her, and then began to walk in the direction of the cafe. He would have taken her hand, but really Xavier wasn’t used to all the mushy stuff, because he had never had anyone special in his life before, he never thought he was worth their time and love. But something about this girl made him think maybe he was worth it after all, but until he knew her better, he would leave that kind of thing out, and instead just quickly followed her to the cafe. Within a couple of moments they had reached the cafe, Xavier held the door open for Leigh, and once inside, he whispered into her ear, “You go wash up, and I’ll order us a drink, anything in particular you would like?”

Leigh listened to Xavier, as he commented on what ability he probably possessed now, after saying that he was sure that it would help. She wondered then what sort of plan that they could derive from their abilities now. It would be interesting to see it written down, but for it to be actually done for real sounded like a lot of fun in Leigh's head, as she hadn't done a lot of killing over the last few weeks.
Leigh saw that grin on Xavier's face, when she had clapped, after his little trick with the bench, and then with the person who had walked by. After their talk back and forth, about finding out about his ability or abilities, Leigh was liking him having these multiple abilities. It was really going to come in handy for her little scheme to work, and even after it was all said and done. She was sure that after it was all done, that she might just become friends with Xavier, and work more with him. Leigh raised her eyebrows as Xavier mentioned the abilities that he might have in him. "Well, whatever they are, they are going to sure work in our favour. I hope that I can help you find out what you have though at the end. Or maybe it might be in our best interests to find out what they are. Or maybe it might be just fun to find out along the way, experimenting on others beforehand." The thought of that brought a smile on Leigh's face. It would be pretty cool to be doing something to an innocent, seeing how good the ability was.
Leigh was normally so together, but killing that person after being away from doing it for so long had shaken her up a bit. But she was then starting to come around more, as Xavier said that these things happened, and mentioned about him killing someone before. That grin on his face was one that would have bet Satan's own. Xavier was definately coming across as someone quite evil, and maybe this is what Leigh was needing. Someone who was just as evil as she thought she was, and to help her grow to become like him. Leigh smiled almost sweetly at him, with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "Yes you did, so we are even I guess. And I want more of these moments to happen." She looked away, then brought her attention back to Xavier, looking at him, right in the eyes, and then touched his arm, with her clean hand. "Might just need some guidance, since my father isn't here to help me walk along the evil path."
Once Leigh pointed out the cafe nearby, Xavier commented, then winked at her. After walking for a few moments, they soon reached the cafe. Xavier held the door open for her, and she made her way inside. She stopped, and Xavier whispered for her to go wash up, and he would order them a drink. Leigh turned to look at Xavier. "A coke might be good, and maybe a big chocolate muffin. The bigger the better." She gave him a smile, then headed into the bathroom.
Once she was there, Leigh turned on the tap, and pumped the soap onto her hand, putting lots of it in the palm of her hand. Leigh rubbed it all over her hand that was covered in the blood, and then rinced it under the water. She continued to scrub until all traced of it was gone. Ten mintues later, it was all gone, but Leigh's hand was slightly red from all the scrubbing that she did. Oh well, thought Leight, it will go away soon enough, hopefully. She dried her hands on the paper towel, looked in the mirror, seeing that she looked okay, and there was no other evidence of her little outburst. Leigh then headed back out to the cafe.
She soon spotted Xavier, and smiled. So now she was going to plan what she had in mind with him, hoping that something might come out of all of this. All Leigh wanted was to bring justice to her father's death, and maybe get a friend out of it all.

{ooc - I think I've said this about ten times now - sorry for delay}
When Xavier realised he obviously held more than one ability he had got a little bit excited and carried away over it all as he spoke to Leigh about it. He thought he just had Element Control, as it had seemed to him he could control the Elements, but now he was able to move things with his mind, you didn’t just suddenly get a new ability, unless you had an ability which allowed you to copy other abilities. He would have to get his hands on that book Activating Evolution and try to find out what ability he had which was obviously giving him the likes of pyrokinesis, terrakinesis, water manipulation and now this telekinesis ability. He grinned like a manic fool to Leigh when she spoke to him, “Damn right they’ll work in our favour, they’re going to work in my own favour as well, the idea of being able to pin someone down with my mind, while you drive your hand into several parts of their body? Sounds damned amazing to me Leigh.” He let out a hysterical laugh then, oh this was beautiful, very beautiful indeed.
Leigh then commented it could be fun to find out along the way experimenting, yeah it certainly would be fun along the way. “I have to agree with you on that one. Never knew I had telekinesis, but with a flick of my hand I turned a bench over, it makes me wonder about other abilities which work with the hand, if I had any. Would I have to think of that ability for it to work, you know? Maybe getting the book Activating Evolution would be good, so I can try and find out what the hell is going on with me.” Not that he was worried, hell no, he was actually very excited about the prospect of holding an ability which gave him multiple ones, he was more interested in finding out how to use each one he may have, and a way of finding out which ones he did have.
After Leigh had apologised for going off on one, Xavier told her there was no need for it, and hadn’t he himself gone off on one. He had to chuckle at her response when she’d said they were even. “Yeah, I guess we are even.” Leigh then said she wanted more of those moments to happen and he lout out an evil laugh, but she continued to say she might need guidance since her father wasn’t around anymore, and she touched his arm with her clean hand. Xavier, without thinking, put his own hand on top of hers. “Well, I’d be glad to help; it’s not often someone as pretty as you turn out to be on my kind of path. I look forward to getting to know you more...,” he gave her hand a gentle squeeze before continuing, “...much more hopefully.” It was time Xavier got a woman in his life, and after the disaster with Rayne, Leigh seemed the obvious and natural choice.
They were soon heading toward the cafe Leigh had pointed to earlier, and when they got inside, Xavier told her to go wash up and he would order whatever she wanted. Leigh asked for a coke and a chocolate muffin, the bigger the better. Xavier gave her a grin, but not his evil one, just the one he gave to women he really liked, and there hadn’t been that many. “Sure sweetheart.” So Leigh went off to wash up and Xavier placed the order, also asking for strawberry shortcake and a coke also. He was served within about five minutes and he looked for a table right away, and once he found one, sat down, and placed Leigh’s order on the table opposite him and then sat and waited for her. Within another five minutes he saw her looking for him, and soon she caught his eye, and she was making her way over. When she approached him, he smiled at her, “Feel better? Get it all off?” His voice was low, as he didn’t want anybody else to hear their conversation, as it wasn’t really any of their business but his and Leigh.
Xavier took a bite of his strawberry shortcake and a sip of his own coke and after swallowing looked at Leigh, “So, do you any sort of plan of action in place, or are you just taking each day as it comes and waiting to see where it takes you and what it gets you?” He was only asking, because he wanted to see if he could add to her plans along the way, if they were now working together, it would be good to know what she was planning to do, and more importantly, if he was going to be able to be there for her. However, Xavier didn’t have a family to keep him grounded anywhere, so really, he could go wherever he damn well pleased.

Leigh listened to what Xavier wanted to do now with his new abilities made her smile. Sounded like he was sure to have some fun with them. She knew that she would if she were him, and had all of those abilities. "Cool. Well I am sure that we will find things to do to whoever killed my father, no matter how powerful they are." Leigh had then laughed along with Xavier. She was just loving how evil this guy was, just like her. But she still had a lot to learn, and he might be just the guy to teach her.
Leigh nodded, as Xavier commented on the abilities he now realised that he had. "I might be an idea to get a hold of that book. Might help both of us to understand our abilities more. But more you than me, as you seem to know about mine a bit." It would be good to know about it a bit more indepth. Her father taught her things about what she could do, but then he died, so she never got to know her full potential. Hopefully that book might be able to tell her more than what she already knew.
Leigh saw and felt Xavier put his own hand over her own, which made her look at him more. It felt nice for some reason. Leigh had never really had that many boyfriends. Actually she couldn't remember a time when she had actually been out on a date. She was only a teenager when her father showed her how she could use her ability, then he died, and ever since Leigh had been on the hunt to find her father's killer. So really, no time for any of that. Her priorities were always on the kill. It was good now to have someone who might just help her put her life back on track, finding out who killed her father. Once that was all done, her life could go back to normal somewhat. When Xavier said that he would be glad to help, and that he looked forward to getting to know her more, he gave her hand a squeeze, adding much more hopefully. All Leigh could do was give him a small smile. "You never know Xavier. When all is said and done with what I need done, you just might get lucky."
After Leigh got all the blood washed off at the cafe's bathroom, she spotted Xavier and headed in his direction. Leigh nodded, and quietly spoke, as she sat down opposite Xavier. "Yes. Much better. And yes, just that now my hand is a bit red from scrubbing, but that will subside." She spotted her chocolate muffin, and took a medium sized bite, closing her eyes as she chewed for a few second, finally opening them. She realised that she hadn't eaten much that day and that it was a welcoming relieve to feel food in her mouth. Once it was all gone, she listened to Xavier, taking a mouthful of her Coke.
"Until I met you, I was just taking each day as it came. If I heard anything, any leads that might lead me closer to my father's killer, I would go out and do my thing. But now that you have just asked me, it might be good to have a plan, you know?" Leigh took a sip of her Coke again. "I just want to find him or her, Xavier. I was a mess after my father died, and I have been on this mission for the last ten years to bring justice to his death." Leigh looked at Xavier. "Do you have any suggested? Sorry I don't have any at this point in time. As I said, if I have information, I basically just follow it that day."
