Friday, 13th July 2018 || 10:47pm || Brooklyn, NY Damon had been having a hard time with stuff, as per usual. As always Stefan didn't want a bar of him, or was again trying to make Damon like him. It was like the upteenth time that had happened, and it was still getting quite old. But really, if it satisfying him, what can Damon do. Those these were the least of his worries right now, he had bigger things to deal with. Approximately one hour earlier, Damon had been doing his normal thing: going around, and picking random strangers to feast his fangs on. But again something went terribly wrong. He thought that he had actually killed one of them. But as he fed on the women's boyfriend, she had begun to stir, and looked at Damon in horror. Normally he would have used his own mind control on her, but he hadn't fully killed the guy yet, so he had to turn away to finish him off. Once he was fully drained of blood, Damon turned around, and the woman had already made her way out of the alley, and was heading towards a cop, who was standing nearby, writing out a ticket for a car that was parked illegally. Damon turned to run at lightening speed out of the alley, heading towards a deserted building, near the river. He knew that he would be safe there, for now. Normally he would go to Stefan, telling him what he did, and leaving the mess for him to clean up. But somehow he knew that this time it was his mess, and he would have to do the manuel labour.

It was times like this Matt tended to get annoyed with his job. A power mimicking agent for the Secret Services was a major asset the government wanted to keep, however this asset was also a living breathing person. His life with Emilie, and their child was something he wanted to spend more time with. Not this hunting of dangerous people. However this one was one he'd dealt with in the past.
Damon Winchester. A vampire of all things. Not a special and not human. Supernatural. This one was feeding on too many people, and a lot of them were turning up dead. Normally vamps went to Fangtasia or other vampire bars where blood was available to them in a controlled environment. This way of feeding was frowned upon and repeat offenders were brought into custody. So that's what Matt was doing.
He'd received intel that a couple was attacked just 30 minutes ago, the male was killed, but the woman escaped. She had escaped? This wasn't usually Damon's MO to let his victims live? He was getting sloppy. And luckily for Matt that would lead him to Damon. He had absorbed a very large base of abilities, totalling up to be 20 for now. He'd learned his mimicry was unlimited, so in essence, he could be a living God. So it was good he was using this power to help people, instead of being someone like Damon.
He closed his eyes and focusing on his clairvoyant ability, he located Damon running through the streets at high speeds. Not like it would help him. Matt was way more faster than any vampire. So after Damon had stopped in a building, hoping to come up with an escape plan for his mistake, Matt teleported to the building, appearing in the building, appearing mere metres behind Damon. "You're getting sloppy Damon." Matt said to him, his hand igniting with fire as he looked at Damon with a glare. He was ready for him.
OOC: Powers Matt has mimicked in this future timeline: Regeneration, Telepathy, Super Speed, Telekinesis, Super Strength, Time Manipulation, Clairvoyance, Superhuman Sight, Freezing, Pyrokinesis, Teleportation, Invisibility, Phasing, Telepathic Immunity, Ability Supercharging, Terrakinesis, Danger Sense, Healing Others, Aerokinesis, Hydrokinesis.

Damon quickly pulled at the chains that held the door locked, breaking them in his bare hands, like they were just pieced of bread crumbling in his hands. He then flung open the door, and let it close noisely behind him. Damon began to make his way inside the building, soon seeing a set of stairs, leading up to another level. He wondered if there was anything good in there for him to do while he stuck it out till morning.
Damon went to head towards the stairs, when a person stood in front of him, only a couple of metres from his body. He could tell who it was, just by the way the man stood, and how he looked, even if it the body was in semi darkness. He was about to talk, but Matt got in there first. "Well, well. If it isn't Matt Tobruk. Mr. Secret Service Man, or whatever your job description says nowadays." Damon saw the fire in Matt's hands, and he started to get worried. Fire and vampires don't mix, unless you intend to kill one. "You know," Damon said, pointing to the fire, "you should be careful with that. You should know by now that there is only one person who is allowed to kill me, and it's not you."
Damon then ran very fast up the stairs, and headed towards the back of the room. He hid behind the large lounge chair, hoping to put Matt off of his trail. But really, Damon wasn't stupid, he had felt the power that Matt possessed now, and it was a lot. All he had to offer was super speed, strength, and his mind control. Damon knew that he wouldn't get that close to use that mind control, but he hoped that his other abilities were enough to keep Matt at bay, or in the least injure him somewhat.

Matt just smiled as Damon addressed him as Mr. Secret Service Man. It was touching that he remembered him after their last encounter. Something Matt wouldn't be forgetting anytime soon. "Well yeah, you kinda did try to feed off my wife and kid. So you'll have to forgive me if I seem a little pissed off at you." Matt replied to his comment, his hands alight with fire, the embers dancing in the air as they disappeared slowly.
When Damon said that Matt should be careful with the fire and that only one person was allowed to kill Damon, Matt just smirked. "I'm sure he'll understand the circumstances." Matt said as he watched Damon run off. The flames disappeared as Matt shook his head. "Why is it they never turn themselves in..." He muttered to himself as he used his clairvoyance ability to find Damon hiding behind a couch upstairs. "Seriously?" Matt said as he closed his eyes, teleporting in front of the couch Damon was hiding behind and with a flick of his fingers, sent the couch flying towards the wall nearby, revealing Damon.
"You know if you turn yourself in, that would make my life a lot more easier." Matt said, looking at Damon as he looked into his eyes. "Also your little mind games won't work on me on this time." He said, glaring at the vampire. "One more chance. Come in quietly, and you live." Matt said to him.

Hearing what he had almost done to his wife and kid, put a smirk on his face. "Well, I can understand that, but I also can't believe that I didn't get to taste her." Damon didn't want to show his concern for his well being, seeing that fire in Matt's hands. He would be gone in a split second when those flames hit him, and he didn't want that.
Damon didn't like the sound of what Matt said about Stefan understanding. Obviously Matt didn't know how they worked. No one was allowed to kill either of them, under any circumstances. Damon didn't answer anymore, as he ran up the stairs. As he ran and hid, he hadn't blocked out what Matt said, smirking slightly too himself. Damon thought that maybe he might be safe where he was, but obviously it didn't work, when he was soon discovered, after the couch was whipped up into the air.
Damon watched it fly, with his mouth hanging open. "Looks like you have yourself some nifty powers there Matt. I felt them a lot before. So I shouldn't be surprised that you found me." He slowly stood up, listening to and looking at Matt. Matt then spoke, and Damon just wanted to just do away with the man in front of him. "Is that right? Maybe I don't want to talk anymore, and I just want to my life easier without you in it."
Damon saw that Matt was looking him right in the eye, and he began to look at Matt with full attention on what he wanted to say. But then Matt said that his little mind games wouldn't work. "Is that right?" Damon then wondered what was stopping his power. He was sure that over time he would find out.
Damon almost burst out laughing when Matt said that he had one more chance. Two could play at this game. Damon put his hands up, like he was surrendering. "Fine. I will give you the benefit of the doubt. I need to be punished for all the bad I have done in my life." Damon began to walk towards Matt, then when he was close enough to touch him, he grabbed Matt's neck, lifting him up off the ground. "You didn't really buy that little act, did you?"

Matt's eyes burned into Damon's, especially after that comment about Emilie. He had half a mind to kill him here and now, and chalk it up to self-defense. However Matt was better than that... And he wasn't going to stoop to Damon's level to bring justice to him. So he'd just bring him in, by any means necessary.
Matt just smirked as he listened to Damon's comment about Matt's powers, knowing that he did have some nifty powers in his arsenal. He was one of the best agents for a reason. "Damn right I do. And if you're not careful, someone's gonna get burned." Matt said, advancing on Damon. He just smiled as Damon replied to his comment about being immune to his mind games. Matt was immune to telepaths in general, save someone extremely powerful, like Matt Parkman or the like. Vamps had a weak telepathic power, so it was easy to block.
When Damon replied to Matt's comment about turning himself in, Matt just nodded. "I'll take that as a no?" Matt said as he watched Damon put up his hands. He just listened as Damon spoke, coming closer to Matt as he grabbed his neck, lifting Matt in the air. When Damon commented about not buying that act, Matt just snickered. "No..." Matt said, reaching forward and grabbing Damon's throat, glaring into the vampire's eyes as he used his enhanced strength to squeeze tightly on the vamp.
"But I had to let you take your guard down somehow." Matt said as he used a mixture of his speed and strength, slamming his free hand onto Damon's arm which was holding Matt's neck, hoping to break it.

Damon kind of glared sarcastically at Matt, when he was confirming that he had some nifty powers. He wasn't liking that Matt was coming towards him with that single fire that would put Damon out of his misery. Still the thought of the only person who was allowed to kill him played in his head, even after all this time.
Damon loved playing with human mind, even if this one was an Evolved Human. It was just part of his nature to play first then get into the good stuff like feeding then erasing their minds from what had just happened. Damon snickered when Matt knew that he was just playing at the surrendering. It seemed that Matt had been around him too long to know what he was like. Damon then had grabbed a hold of Matt's neck, and spoke to him, smirking at his reply.
He could hear his head laughing as Matt tried to squeeze the life out of Damon. But really, he was undead and didn't need air to breath, just the blood. Damon then reached up with his other hand, pulling Matt's hand off of his neck, flinging it away fast. But it seemed that Matt had some speed and strength in him as well, and soon enough Matt's hand was on Damon's arm that held the hand that was holding Matt up.
His eyes grew wide for a split second, and let a smirk come across his face. "I never let my guard down, you should know that Matt." But it seemed that Matt did have some strength there, and Damon soon heard a snap, and Damon let his grip go from Matt's throat. The pain was only slight, but he soon used his free hand to push the bones together, and soon enough all was well with his arm. Damon looked at Matt. "So you thought you would be smart enough to hurt me. But really I am on the all human diet, so nothing will break me."

Matt just smiled as Damon healed himself after Matt's attack on him. He knew that Damon could heal. He knew he was stronger than Stefan. He knew a lot about him. Thanks to intel from the government, as well as Stefan himself. So he knew that vampires needed regular intakes of blood to keep that strength up. And injuring him and making him bleed would weaken him more.
So with a heave of his hands, Matt thrusted them forwards, sending out a pulse of telekinetic energy towards Damon, hoping he would go flying back into a wall, followed by Matt speeding forward, aiming a punch towards the vampire's head.
