December 3rd, 2009 Noah was surprised to have gotten a call from Claire. He hasn't heard from here in a while. He obviously couldn't have answered it as he was busy. So when he listened to the message, he made it his number one priority to go see her. He found a taxi and began to make his way to the White House. Took about an hour to get there cause of all the traffic but he made it eventually. As he got out he began to walk towards the East Gate of the White House. He showed the man at the gate his id and was accepted to enter. "Welcome back, Mr. Bennet." he said with a smile. He nodded as he took his id back. "Thanks." He made his way through the black gates and began down the long path to the actual entrance of the White House. As he walked he passed the Rose Gardens and saw the grave. The grave of West and Claire's child that didn't survive. He didn't make it to this, which he regretted. Finally he got to the white limestone steps, he climbed them. Opening the door, he was greeted by the door guards. He nodded to both men on either side of the door. "Mr. Bennet." a voice rang out. Noah turned his head to where the voice came from and realized who it was. "Why hello, Mr. Deveaux." he said smiling. "Is Claire here?" he asked. "Ya she is. Actually shes been expecting you." he said. The man waved his hand for Noah to follow him. As he did. He followed him to where Claire was, which happened to be the dining hall. "Claire Bear." he said softly as too she hadn't noticed him enter.

Ever since finding out that her ability meant she couldn’t grow old she had been trying to find her dad Noah to talk to him about it. Although it was quite a few weeks since she’d discovered it and had more or less got used to the idea, she still wanted to know why he kept it from her. It seemed to Claire that she had been shrouded in a web of lies at every turn. First by Angela Petrelli for making her son give up his daughter from an extra marital relationship, then from the Bennets themselves for not telling Claire she was adopted, and now this with the ability. She thought when she discovered what she could do, the next step would have been for Noah to tell her that she would never grow old, he obviously knew as she had found the file at their California home among others which obviously belonged to her dad.
She had eventually managed to get through to his cell phone and although she wasn’t able to speak to him and so she left him a message telling him that they had to talk. Of course she didn’t really expect to hear from him, so it was no surprise when she got no return call or text from him. What she hadn’t expected however, was for him to actually come and visit her at the White House, so when she heard the familiar voice call her ‘Claire Bear’, she couldn’t believe that he had actually turned up. She hadn’t seen Noah for months, the only dad she had ever known all her life, but she felt he abandoned her when he suddenly disappeared, and now she looked at her real father, the estranged one as her dad, well he was no longer estranged, she and Nathan were extremely close. In fact, if Nathan knew Noah had just turned up, he might have a word or two to say to the disappearing act he had done.
“Finally, you decide to show your face again. Where have you been? How can I have a proper relationship with you as a father and daughter if you keep disappearing? You can’t honestly expect me to just walk back into your open arms as if everything is alright can you?” Her voice was low and slightly dark, but she was angry, he had done this a few times now, but this was the longest spell he had been away for and this time it had really broken her heart. She was really glad now that she and Nathan had taken the time to get to know each other and bond and now Claire was proud to call herself a Petrelli, she was by blood and now she was by name, and she loved it. Even the fact he had called her Claire Bear did nothing to change her mood, he always seemed to use that when he was trying to get into her good books and she was sick of it, Nathan called her honey and she much preferred it these days.

Noah knew this was going to happen. Claire wasn't to happy with his disappearing act. But what could he do, its part of his job. He listened to her as she went on about him not being there. This got Noah annoyed. Obviously Claire hasn't learned that he does disappear for periods of time every now and then. "Your the one that called me." he said with a little anger in his voice, though he was trying to fight it.
Noah took a seat and waited for a response from Claire. She did call him. So he was really only here on her account. He knew that she had connected more with Nathan the last couple months. Plus her son is burried here in the Rose Gardens. He wasn't allowed there then. Which he did understand why he wasn't. He checked his watch as he waited for her to tell why she called.

Claire knew that Noah wouldn’t be too happy at the way she spoke to him, but really she had called him heaps of times, and it was only now he dared to show his face. So the tone of his voice when he said that she was the one who had called him wasn’t overly surprising to Claire, even though she could tell he was desperately trying to keep the anger out of his voice. “Well, it wasn’t as if I had just called you that once and you came running. I called several times over the past few weeks and months.” She walked toward him, trying to get back to a softer manner, so she could at least give him a hug, even if it was awkward. There was no denying the fact; she had a much closer bond with Nathan these days.
She noticed him sitting down and she made her way over and sat next to him, softening down enough to give him that awkward hug. “I’m sorry, I know you do this, just disappear and don’t tell me for my own safety, blah blah, but you could at least let me know when you’re doing this.” She then pulled out of the hug and made her way over to the table where she had left the folder, she hadn’t even discussed it with Nathan yet; she wanted to know why Noah had kept it from her. She wasn’t too happy about it to say the least. She put the folder into his hands and then raised her eyebrow as she sat down and looked at him.
“I found this when I went to visit you in Costa Verde and you weren’t there, the usual, care to explain why you never told me about this?” She then opened the file and pointed to the line which said ‘gives the special immortality’. “You have no idea what this has done to me. I’m in a relationship with the most wonderful man and he’s going to grow old while I remain looking like a nineteen year old, it’s killing me. So, why did you keep it from me, and I don’t want any lies, I’ve had enough of them to last me a life time.”
