David couldn’t help but smile with his eyes sparkling like they always did when Stacey stepped back from the hug to tell him he wasn’t going anywhere and she liked his plan. He was happy to hear her say that, because he didn’t want to go anywhere. “That is good to hear Stacey.” She then continued by saying he couldn’t go and leave her with all that to do on her own. “That wasn’t even going to be an option.” He replied giving her a bright smile. Stacey had truly captured his heart; there was no way in the world she was going to lose him.
David was glad his reassuring words and gentle squeeze of her hand and soft kisses seemed to be making Stacey feel a bit more at ease about the pending birth. He didn’t like to see her so worried and upset, it wasn’t good for Stacey and it wasn’t good for the baby. He loved that smile of hers she was giving him, and he just smiled back at her, proud to have her in his life. This was just the first official day of them being together and already David felt like they had been together for years, they just seemed to naturally fit together well.
David smiled warmly at Stacey when she said she just knew that she was going to love the time they would spend together no matter what they were doing, like their current shopping trip. “I totally agree and I absolutely feel the same way Stacey.” David wasn’t too bothered about the comparisons between him and Brendan, it was bound to happen, she had been with him for a while, but now she could step forward with him and over time, Brendan would hopefully soon be a thing of the past. She would always remember Brendan of that David was sure, but hopefully she could learn to leave him in the past where he belonged.
After Stacey commented about him finding her in a blubbering mess with the cot around her in pieces and he said he would have found it cute, he soon realised that was the wrong thing to say to her. He made a mental note not to ever say to Stacey that he thought it was cute, even if he did, he would just do his best to console her. “Alright, duly noted, I will not say it looks cute, I will only think it and then wrap my arms around you and tell you everything will be okay and then proceed to help you.” After giving her hand a gentle squeeze he had told her that she wouldn’t have to do it alone anyway. “Well I do nothing at the weekends, so I’ll be all yours whenever you need me.” Okay so that wasn’t quite the truth, he sometimes had patients at the weekend, those who couldn’t see him through the week, but it didn’t happen often. Maybe he would have to see about getting a part time therapist to work for him, so he could start having more days free, he would need them anyway, once the baby was born.
When David had made the comment about having your own time as well as with your partner, he had to smile at Stacey’s response. “Well I would love that as well Stacey. I’ve never had a long term relationship as such, a few girlfriends here and there, but nothing I could class as a proper relationship, so I am pretty sure I will love just snuggling up. However, I just meant that I would understand when you needed your own time.” He was sure the best couples had time on their own, whether that was just listening to music with their earphones in, reading, or talking to friends online. David then had a visual of him and Stacey snuggled on her sofa later and it was a nice scene to have in his head.
David began to laugh lightly when Stacey commented about the baby not kicking too hard or there wouldn’t be much of her stomach left. “Well, I dare say if you’re having a girl there might not be too many kicks, if you’re having a boy, well that might be a different matter altogether.” David then watched with much love and adoration on his face as Stacey then looked down at her stomach and spoke to the baby telling them not to kick her too hard. It was adorable watching her talk to the unborn baby, and it just made David fall in love with her all over again. He couldn’t wait until the baby was born and they could both become loving parents. Stacey then looked up and smiled at him commenting that she hoped she had told them who was boss. “I am more than sure you told them who was boss Stacey, you even scared me.” He was messing around of course and began to laugh a little. “Don’t worry Stacey I am sure whatever I buy the baby will like and if not, I’ll have a quiet word to them first and ask them to be gentle, and I will also make sure I don’t ask their opinion early in the morning.” One thing David didn’t want was for Stacey to get too sore and uncomfortable and he certainly didn’t want the baby to arrive early if they could help it.
When David commented about making sure he brought peanut butter slices and coke when he visited, Stacey said he must and added she could maybe learn how to cook them, although she wasn’t good with complicated things. “Yeah, I think it will be easier for me to just buy them for you. I wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself trying to cook them.” There went David’s protective and caring side over Stacey. Stacey then continued talking about stocking up on coke at her place and his. Well David had no objections to that. “Of course I don’t mind if you stock up on it at my place. I can even buy some in for you, as a guest you shouldn’t have to buy your own anyway.” He smiled warmly at her then, “And I don’t care what time of the day you drink it at, all I care about is you, your health, and our child.” He deliberately added in the world our when he was referring to the baby, because he didn’t have any intentions of letting Stacey go and he wanted to refer to the baby as his as well now.
After Stacey asked how many was in a football team, he heard her gasp slightly and he began to laugh, because he was really kidding her. He would never expect her to have that many children; besides, they would probably never be able to afford to keep them all. “I was kidding you Stacey, saying about having or wanting a football team of kids, is just a saying. I would never expect you to have as many children as that; besides, we’d probably never be able to afford it anyway.” He gave her a reassuring smile then. He really didn’t mean to shock her. He had then continued to tease her by saying he would settle for a five aside instead. Stacey obviously didn’t know the rules of British soccer much. He shook his head when she asked if that meant ten. “No, five aside, means five players in each time, ten players in total, but when you say you would love to have enough kids for a five aside, you mean you would love five kids, but I’m still teasing you Stacey.” He then got a little more serious but still smiling at her. “I’m sorry, I’ll behave.” David then said he would be happy with two or four, keeping the numbers even as he always felt the kid in the middle never felt comfortable. “To be perfectly honest with you Stacey, even if you didn’t think you want more after this one was born, I would never be angry or push you to have more. The female has to go through the birth, so if you felt you couldn’t have anymore, I’d respect that.” David then gave Stacey’s hand a gentle squeeze to confirm he meant every word of that.
After Stacey had burped and excused herself David had laughed and said the gas had to go somewhere and better coming up than going down. He had to laugh some more at Stacey’s response. “Well I don’t think I’d like it to go the other way either, but really I can’t talk, unfortunately it’s a part of human nature, sometimes needs must.” He wasn’t trying to be rude, he was just being perfectly honest, they were perfectly normal humanly body functions, and he’d done a few in his time, more than a few. David had then gone to buy more of the peanut slice for Stacey to take home with her. Stacey then thanked him when he handed them over and made a comment about keeping two for later when they could sit and relax. “That sounds like a good idea to me, the whole sitting and relaxing thing.” He couldn’t wait to just sit and wrap his arms around Stacey and snuggle up together.
When David spoke of the store Stacey mentioned wondering if it was the same one, he had to smile as she replied agreeing that it might very well be. When she continued to say it didn’t look like it was brand new or anything it just confirmed David’s thoughts. It was a fantastic store for a first time mother, for any mother really, but for first time mothers it was a magical haven. When they approached it and Stacey admitted that it was indeed the same store, David grinned. “Awesome, as I know my mom got some amazing stuff in there for the twins.” They were soon making their way inside, and David’s eyes began to light up at everything he could see just from a quick glance around the store. The last time he was here, he was helping his mother buy items for his twin sisters, and now he was here helping Stacey buy items for their soon to be born child.
David watched from the side of his eyes as Stacey took in everything with wide opened eyes and when she spoke he began to chuckle slightly. “Well, we have all the time in the world today Stacey, so we can be here as long as it takes.” He gave her a reassuring smile; he was in no hurry to get home or anything. When Stacey then began to head toward the back of the store where the bigger items were, she soon stopped in her tracks. Naturally David stopped also. He just watched her reaction with a look of love on his face and then she spoke. “They are adorable, I agree.” David didn’t care what one she wanted, he would get it. He then watched as she leant over the cot, and he soon saw tears in her eyes, he could tell they were happy ones, and so David just wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, resting his hands on her pregnant stomach. When Stacey turned to face him, she spoke saying it was going to be an interesting day for her emotionally. David smiled, “I actually think it might be an interesting day emotionally for both of us.”
He then took another look at the cot Stacey had been leaning over, “Is this the one you might like, or do any of the others stand out for you?” It didn’t matter to David what one they got, so long as it was one Stacey liked, that was all that mattered to David.

She tried to look at David seriously, "Good." Stacey couldn't take it any longer and gave him a grin. "And I won't knock back the comforting hug from you, and your kind words." She looked at his hand on her own, as he said that she wouldn't have to do it alone, then after she spoke, David had then said he didn't do anything on the weekends, so he would be all her's. "Great. So I can book you in every weekend leading up to the baby being born then?" She laughed a little, knowing that it wouldn't happen all the time, but you never know. Stacey nodded as David spoke about not being in a long term relationship. So it seemed that this was all pretty new to him, despite him obviously having girlfriends previous to her. This time it seemed cute to her that he had never had a long term relationship, but she knew about his history with his younger sisters. So hopefully they could learn things off of each other. He had then added about basically saying that he would understand if she needed time on her own. "Okay. And I have this feeling that somehow this relationship is going to be one where we will definately learn new things. What with you not having any long term relationships in the past, and me having someone who is going to honestly look after me and the baby." In reality, Brendan had been the one who was always looking after her, and out for her. But after the bust up, Stacey never thought she would get that again, and now she was getting it one hundred and ten percent. When David spoke about the difference in kicks, she wondered if he was right. The baby kicking hadn't been too bad in all honesty, so she then wondered if what she had been hoping for was going to come true. Stacey looked at her glass, staring and thinking about it more. She soon realised that she must have been staring a bit too long, feeling her teeth biting at her bottom lip. Stacey blushed a bit, and then smiled a little at David. "Sorry. Was just thinking about what you said." She then basically told the baby not to kick too hard. After she spoke to David, he replied, and she smiled, half laughing, as he laughed a little also. He then spoke more. "I wouldn't worry too much. I think I will have the final say in it all anyway. And no, the early morning movement would not be welcomed." She shook her head, grinning. Though she had read that sometimes the baby would sleep and wake up whenever they wanted. "I agree. And maybe I could learn after the baby is born. But knowing me the craving would have gone by then, and I might not be able to face them after eating them constantly." That was another thing. After the baby is born, she might just leave what she had been craving and go back to her normal eating habits. She couldn't wait to eat roast pork again. David had then added about not worrying about if she stocked up on things that she liked at his place, or he could get it as she would be a guest and shouldn't be expected to buy stuff. Giving him a cheeky grin, she spoke, "I suppose so. If you insist." She then laughed a little. Just hearing him talk about not caring how much he drank of the coke, just caring about her health and their baby's health made her smile warmly at him. "Thanks David. That means a lot. Really." It seemed that her life was definately on track, now with this wonderful man who was taking her baby on board as his own. It was a wonderful feeling. Stacey had wondered if she would have anymore kids after this little one was born, but that was when she had nobody there with her. But now, looking at David, she knew she wanted more, or at least another one. She knew that however many they had they would be truly loved. Stacey felt kind of relieved when David had said that he was kidding about having that many kids, stating that they wouldn't be able to afford it. Then he confirmed about the five a side thing, which had confused Stacey. "Okay. I am glad that you are kidding, as I don't know what I would have said or done if you had been serious. I don't know how some people can have that many kids." At least in her family it had only been her and her sister. "We only had two in the family. My sister, Claudia, who is older than me, and then me. I think we caused enough havoc for our families between the two of us." Just thinking about her sister made her a little sad. She had up and left when she was only young, so she missed having that sisterly bond. Stacey let out a sigh, not wanting to dampen the mood any. David had then said that he would be happy with however many she wanted to have. Feeling his give her hand a gentle squeeze, made her smile warmly, but she knew she had to tell him what she had been thinking. "If I can be honest. Just seeing you the way you are with this little one when it isn't really yours, I feel that I could have at least one with you." "Well as the pregnancy goes on, I can see it going out both ends. I have read that when you are pregnant your body is more relaxed in certain areas, and you do tend to have more gas to let go. I have remembered to keep the carbohydrates down. But haven't let go of the gasy drinks." Once she had the slices that David had bought, they went into her bag, and then headed off towards the shop. It had been the same store that his own mum had bought her stuff for the twins, and she smiled as he acknowledged this. They were soon inside, and Stacey just couldn't believe all of the stuff that was in the store. Hearing David say that they had all the time in the world today made Stacey feel all giddy, like she had just been told that she could spend all day in a toy shop. Stacey gave David the biggest smile, feeling like her whole face had lit up. She had made her way towards the back of the store then, heading towards the items that she had wanted to buy that day. She hadn't gotten very far into that section, before her eyes fell on the first item on her list. As Stacey had peered over the edge, she had got all teary eyed over this one piece of furniture. She felt silly, but she knew that it was just her hormones going all haywire on her. Stacey then felt David wrap his arms around her, and felt his hands rest on her stomach. She closed her eyes for a second, taking in how it felt. It did feel quite nice. Stacey had then turned and spoke to David. She gigled a little, as she wiped at her eyes. "Really now? Well we will see about. I bet you your peanut butter slice that I will get more emotional than you. Deal?" She held out her hand for him to shake on it. Stacey gave him a cheeky grin, knowing that she was going to win the bet hands down. Once that little deal was handled, David had asked her if the cot that she had been looking at was the one that she wanted. Stacey looked at it again, and instantly turned around. "Yes!" As she turned back to look at the cot, Stacey looked down slightly at her stomach, and spoke quietly to the baby. "Well Miss Potter. Is this the bed for you, or what?" After a few second, a gentle kick was felt, and Stacey just knew that it meant a yes. {ooc: www.ehow.com/facts_5891101_gas-bloating-part-pregnancy_.html}

David couldn’t stop smiling, he was the happiest he had ever been, even with the playful banter going on between them, it was as if they had known each other for years and years. When David said he was glad she didn’t want him going anywhere he saw her get a little serious and said ‘good’, it was soon followed by a grin. He looked down at her loving that smile of hers, it lit up her whole face. Stacey then went on to say she wouldn’t knock back his comforting hug and kind words, David moved in and kissed her on the forehead. “Good, because you will be getting plenty of them, they aren’t exactly in short supply.” He gave her a warm smile then. When David then said he didn’t do anything at the weekends and he would be all hers, Stacey asked if she could book him in every weekend up until the baby was born. She did laugh after saying it, and David knew she was teasing him, but he wouldn’t care if she was being serious. “Well I might as well do something constructive with my weekends. To be honest if I do anything at all at the weekends, it’s usually to visit my mom and my sisters.” It wasn’t often he had patients booking for weekend appointments, it had happened maybe once or twice in the past couple of months which wasn’t bad really, so he knew he could easily sort something out if it was required.
After David told Stacey he would understand if she needed some alone time, Stacey replied saying that she was sure they would learn new things in this relationship, he listened to her speak some more and he began to nod his head still smiling at her. “I am sure it will be a good experience for both of us and I can’t wait for it to blossom.” David just had this feeling that Stacey was the one for him, the one he was meant to be with for the rest of his life and yet, not wanting to scare her he decided to keep that to himself. At least until he was definitely sure of Stacey’s feelings for him, after all, it was still all new to the both of them. “And I am going to look after you and the baby; I know that I would already do anything for either of you.” Those words came from David’s heart and he meant them. Although saying those words was almost like admitting to her that he felt she was the one, it was maybe a more subtle way of putting it. He would soon know if he was going to scare her off, but with her earlier words of saying she didn’t want him to go, he had a feeling she wouldn’t be running off anytime soon.
When David spoke about the kicks the baby may or may not be giving he wasn’t trying to be smart or anything, yes it was true he had some basic medical knowledge but even David didn’t know if what he had just said had truth to it or not. He was just merely going on the fact that boys tend to have a natural instinct to kick because of football. Stacey had then gone a little quiet after he said those words and he wondered what she was thinking. He would have given anything to read her thoughts right then. She soon apologised saying she was just thinking about what he had just said. David knew all that should matter was the baby being born healthily, but he also knew some women preferred a certain sex and having helped his mom raise his twin sisters he had to admit he felt as if he could cope with a baby girl better than a baby boy. He had to ask the next question, “I’m going on speculation here from what I said that you were thinking about, are you hoping for a girl then?” He smiled after saying those words; he couldn’t deny a baby girl would be nice; it would more or less take him back to when his twin sisters were born.
As the banter continued about the baby liking what David bought them, Stacey then said he wasn’t to worry about it, as she would have the final say in it all anyway, which of course was true, but it was fun to think of the baby giving their approval or not. “I am sure you would have the final say, at least you let me have my fun with it for a little while.” He laughed a little then, he liked the fact they both seemed able to gently tease each other and know that’s exactly what they were doing. It really was as if someone above sent Stacey to him and he didn’t care if that thought sounded very cheesy it was how he was feeling. At least he had kept it to himself and hadn’t said it out loud, which would probably have been somewhat a little embarrassing for him.
When Stacey spoke of learning how to cook the peanut butter slices after the baby was born she added that knowing her luck the cravings would be gone by then and being unable to face them after eating them constantly. Well there was that, being pregnant could do weird things to a woman’s hormones and taste buds, his mom had told him all about it. He nodded his head, “That’s true, so I’ll just buy them for you instead then.” He made sure to say he was going to buy them for her; she couldn’t stop him from buying her peanut butter slices to fulfil her craving. When Stacey had mentioned about stocking up at his and he had said he should stock up instead, what with Stacey being the guest, he saw that cheeky smile of hers and then came the words if he insisted. “In this instance, yes I do insist. It’s my house, my rules.” He started to laugh then along with Stacey who was also laughing. When Stacey thanked him for caring about her health and that of the baby’s, he didn’t really have any words to say other than “You’re welcome.” He wouldn’t be a very good boyfriend if he didn’t look out for his girl’s health and safety, now would he?
After Stacey said she was glad he was kidding about the number of kids he would like, stating that she didn’t know how people could have that many, David nodded his head in agreement. “I understand what you’re saying. It’s crazy to have that amount of children. To me the perfect amount of children is two and if you’re lucky enough to have one of each, a girl and a boy, it’s classed as the perfect gentleman’s family. However, that said, I wouldn’t care if I had two girls, after helping to raise Denise and Darla, I’d say I’m used to how girls work.” Plus he felt he would be one of these daddy’s girl type of father and he knew he would be very protective of his daughters. There he went thinking plural and Stacey hadn’t even given birth to this one yet. He mentally slapped himself for thinking too far ahead.
Stacey spoke some more saying there was only her and Claudia in their family and how they had caused their share of havoc. David knew if his twin sisters had only been a single child, there would only have been two kids for his parents as well. “I do know that if the twins hadn’t been twins and only one baby, my parents would have stopped at two as well.” Two children did seem to be the average amount any family had these days, it was too much money to have any more kids than two in honesty. David knew it cost his mom a lot of money with the twins as babies because it was double of everything. David was glad when he could start working so he could help her out with the costs. It wasn’t quite so bad now they were a bit older, but still David knew that one couldn’t get something without the other, although maybe David had a lot to do with that, as he always bought things in pairs for them in case they would fight. They grew up to expect it.
After David had given her hand a gentle squeeze, Stacey smiled warmly at him, and then she spoke saying that seeing him the way he was with this little one who wasn’t even really his, she felt she could have at least one with him. So she was thinking that far ahead, maybe his earlier thoughts wouldn’t have scared her off like he was worried they might. David then took Stacey’s other hand, so he was holding them both, “I’d like that Stacey, I feel you and I are in this for the long haul, but let’s get this one born into the family first naturally.” He then leaned forward and gently pulled her toward him and kissed her softly on the lips. Then he whispered, but loud enough for her to hear, “I love you both, always.”
As Stacey spoke some more about her bodily functions changing what with her being pregnant, “My mom told me many of the bodily functions can change during pregnancy, and pregnancy aside, it’s still a part of human nature, so I’m not going to declare it over if I all of a sudden hear you let off wind from the lower region.” David winked at her then and grinned
Once they were inside the store, Stacey hadn’t taken long to reach the back where all the bigger items were and she had soon stopped with her eyes falling on this beautiful cot. Stacey had gotten a little emotional as she leaned over the cot, and then commented about it. When David had replied saying he felt it was going to be an interesting day emotionally for both of them, Stacey challenged him and David couldn’t help but chuckle. He had to laugh all the more when she made the bet using the peanut butter slice, “That’s hardly a proper bet when the peanut butter slices are already yours anyway. But I’m actually not going to argue with you, you probably will cry more than me, but that doesn’t mean I don’t feel the emotion too, even if the tears don’t come. So I can’t take the bet, it’s pointless.” He laughed then and kissed her on the cheek.
David had then asked if that was the cot she wanted, and she soon turned round to him and said yes. Stacey then turned around and asked the baby a question quietly about whether the cot was right for them or not. David was intrigued to find out if she got an answer. “Did Miss Potter answer you?” He couldn’t help but ask, but he was already waving over one of the shop assistants. “Hi, could we get one of these cots please, thanks.” The assistant nodded his head, “Sure sir, is this your first child? You both look so happy together.” David wasn’t sure where to look or what to say, but the truth was he was happy and technically it was their first child, “Yes it’s our first child.” David then put his arm around Stacey’s waist and hugged into her then. The assistant then nodded his head and went off to get one of the cots for them. A few minutes later the assistant came back with a flat pack box in a trolley and handed it over to David. “Thanks.”
He then turned to Stacey with a bright smile, “Alright, cot down, what’s next on the list?” David hadn’t even bothered to look at the cost and to be honest, he didn’t care, Stacey had fallen in love with it, and that was all that mattered to him.

Stacey heard David comment about what he normally did on the weekends. "Well I might just have to join you on one of those visits. Would like to meet your mum and your sisters." Stacey still missed her sister, even though she hardly remembered her now. So maybe going into a family where there were younger kids, she might get to know what she is getting herself into with having a child now. Libby was great, and Stacey also missed seeing her. She wondered if she should try and contact her to see if she wanted to see Stacey or not. Maybe not, but it was still in the back of her mind. Stacey smiled warmly at David, when he said that he would look after her and the baby, and that he would do anything for them. Maybe this is what she truly needed. She didn't want to think bad of Brendan, but David was starting to mean more to her than Brendan did. She hated to admit that, but it was truly what her heart was telling her right then. Maybe it was because David knew almost everything about her already, in regards to all those appointments with him over that month. She was truly seeing David for what he was, and it was nothing but special to her. Just thinking about what he just said was bringing the emotion out in her, and she felt tears build up. Stacey looked down, trying to compose herself, then looked up, knowing that he would still see them, even though they hadn't fallen. "David, I don't know what to say to what you just said. I can't find the right words right now." Then she felt a single tear fall down her cheek. She giggled a little then, wiping it away. "Or maybe that is your answer right there." Stacey hadn't meant to go off and think quietly to herself, but David had apparently picked up on what she might have been thinking about. It was like he had read her mind, or maybe she was easy to read while pregnant. She bit on her bottom lip slightly, then looked at David, feeling her face grow hot. "Well, I am hopping. I could have been told already, but I didn't want to know. I kind of want to find out when it is finally born." Stacey had wondered if it was best to find out during the pregnancy, but just kept saying 'no' each time. Stacey kind of rolled her eyes, when David said that he did insist about stocking up on the foods or drinks at his place, as it was his house, his rules. Then she giggled a little. To play along, she crossed her arms, then looked sideways. She couldn't keep a straight face for long, when she glance at his to the side, and then let a smile spread across her face. Stacey listened more to David, as he spoke about the number of kids. Just thinking about having so many kids kind of scared her, but only having a couple was kind of sitting well with her. But Stacey still wanted to wait till this one came along first. It seemed though to her that David might have been thinking about the type of family he would like to have. He obviously had some experience, what with his sisters, and being able to help his mum with raising them somewhat. "Well then, maybe I hope this one turns out to be a girl then, and you can help, using the knowledge you already have." After Stacey admitted that she could have at least one child with him, she watched him take her other hand, holding both now in his own. Stacey looked at David as he replied. She slowly nodded, agreeing so much about getting this one born first. "I agree." He then moved forward, and was gestured to move forward, and he kissed her softly. Stacey closed her eyes ever so slightly, loving the kiss. Once they parted slightly, David whispered. Stacey could only kiss him again, loving what he had just said. She pulled apart then, and before they sat back down in their seats, Stacey pulled one of her hands out of his, and placed it on his face. "I love you too." The whole talk of things that the body does was getting a bit out of hand for Stacey, and she had to shake her head, kind of grinning, when David commented more. "Fine then. I will definately let you know when that happens." Stacey didn't know whether David would agree to the bet, and she was kind of right. She shrugged at his response, and then smiled at him, as he kised her on the cheek. "Oh well, it was worth a try." Maybe she should have said double or nothing. Once she said that it was the cot that she wanted, and had then turned to talk to the baby, David asked her if 'Miss Potter' had answered her. Stacey turned around, seeing him wave over someone for assistant. Still with her hands on her stomach, she looked at David. "Yes she did, and she likes it." The thought of what he had said about the kicks was now definately making her have the feeling that the baby was a girl, and she was glad. But then she hoped that it was a girl when it was born, and not a boy. Though Stacey shouldn't think like that, as really it shouldn't matter as long as it was healthy, and there was nothing wrong with it. But she could still wish. Someone soon came to help them, and the person acknowledged the help that they needed, then asked if it was their first child. Stacey felt this bright smile come over her, loving that someone seemed to pick up that it was. She didn't know how to respond, when David finally spoke up. As David put his arm around her, she allowed her head to slightly rest on his shoulder. Once the assistant went off to get the cot for them, Stacey turned to face David, and gently kissed him on the lips, then rested her head on his chest, waiting for the person to come back. Once they did, Stacey moved herself away from David, as he then asked her what was next on the list. "Well, there are a few things, but let's take a stroll around to see what else the store has for us to look at." She wrapped her arm around him, as she let him push the trolley that now contained the cot. **** 2 1/2 hours later **** After spending the three plus hours in the store, Stacey finally settled on: A change table: A baby bath: A pram: And had a sneaky peak at some of the clothes, but just couldn't settle on anything right then. After browsing the small outfits, Stacey turned to David. "I think I am kind of done for the day. Kind of getting tired. Time to pay for the stuff I think and head back, if that is okay."

After David told Stacey what he normally did at the weekends she commented saying she might have to join him on one of his visits adding that she would like to meet his mom and sisters. David gave her a warm smile then thinking it was a nice thing for Stacey to say when they had only officially become a couple the day before. However he knew the soon as his mom found out he had a woman in his life she’d want to meet her as well. He wasn’t sure what she would think of her being pregnant already by another man, but they would just have to face that bridge if and when they came to it, although knowing his mom she wouldn’t think any less of Stacey, probably just be more proud of her son for taking on a child which wasn’t his own. “Well I am more than certain my mom and sisters would love to meet you as well, especially my mom.” He laughed a little then, his mom had been bagging him out about a woman for the past few months. When David said he would do anything for Stacey and the baby he could tell his words had some sort of emotional impact on her. She didn’t say anything, at least not right away but as David looked at her, his eyes searching her face, he soon saw tears forming in her eyes. He knew it tears of happiness and he knew that her emotions were a bit all over the place with the pregnancy anyway, so he didn’t think there was anything he could really say or do to help that situation. In a way it felt good to know his words had such an impact. When Stacey finally spoke she said she didn’t know what to say and couldn’t find the words right then. David just kept smiling warmly at her, then he saw that single tear roll down her cheek, and Stacey giggled a little and wiped it away saying that maybe that was the answer. “I was just going to say I didn’t expect you to say anything, but I’m glad my words had that affect on you, and you know something?” He leaned in to her then so his lips were almost touching her ear, “They were all true.” He then kissed her on the cheek and gently hugged her to him. Yes it was true, David Callaghan was in his element right now. David had asked Stacey if she was hoping for a girl when she had went into her thoughts slightly after something he had previously said, he knew himself that it shouldn’t matter so long as they were healthy, but sometimes, moms and dads were better with one sex over the other. Stacey then replied saying that she was hoping and added she could have found out but kind of wanted to find out when they were born. David could understand that one a little from when his mom was pregnant with the twins, she had been hoping for a girl because she already had her handsome son but she had also said if she had more boys she wouldn’t really have bothered as she felt blessed either way. Her hopes were answered not just once, but twice over with the birth of his twin sisters. David saw the colour rise in Stacey’s face, “It’s not exactly bad to hope for one sex over the other Stacey even if it should be down to them just being born healthily. Mom hoped for at least one girl when she was pregnant with the twins, and she got blessed with two in the end.” He gave Stacey’s hand a gentle squeeze then as if to reassure her that thinking like had been doing was allowed. He wanted to say that he would prefer a girl himself having the experience in helping with his twin sisters but kept it to himself not wanting to scare Stacey away with appearing possibly too clingy. When Stacey said that maybe she hoped this baby was a girl and he could use his knowledge of helping to raise his twin sisters David grinned at her. “Well, as said earlier, I would do anything for you and the baby, so it’s a given. Mom would probably be willing to help if you ever needed any guidance, I am almost sure of that.” Now that Denise and Darla were no longer babies he just had this feeling his mom would go gooey over the idea of a baby in the family again, even if this one technically wasn’t his, but for all intents and purposes it would be, in his eyes, in Stacey’s eyes, and despite wondering earlier what his mom would think he just knew if David was looking at the unborn child as his own, then his mom would automatically look at the unborn child as her grandchild. At the mention of Stacey having at least one child with David, he had replied saying he’d like it but to let the one she was currently carrying be born into the family first. He smiled when she replied agreeing to what he had said. David had then leaned forward and kissed her softly and then whispered that he loved the both of them. He soon felt Stacey kiss him again after that, which made David feel tingly inside and he couldn’t help but smile, he was so in love with Stacey and yet a part of him was still holding back being so full on so soon into the relationship as he knew it was still all new for Stacey, even if he had been feeling for a bit longer. He soon felt Stacey move one of her hands and felt it on his face and when she spoke she said she loved him too. It was now David’s turn to be a little lost for words, instead just smiling at her feeling the happiest he had in a very long time. David had to laugh a little when Stacey said it was worth a try after he had refused her bet. Well, what was the point in betting him for the peanut butter slices when he had bought them for her anyway? He couldn’t help but keep smiling afterward though, he was just so happy being with Stacey, everything about her was magical, everything about her was perfect. After Stacey settled on a cot and she had spoken to her stomach he had then asked if Miss Potter had answered her he couldn’t help but grin when she replied saying she did and that she liked it. “The first item we get and I end up with two happy females, how about that then?” David chuckled slightly and then realised how funny it was to be thinking of the baby as a girl when neither of them knew what the sex was right now. They had better hope it was a girl or David at least was going to feel very foolish for referring to the unborn child as a female. He had then called for assistance and when they had asked if it was their first child and David ended up responding, he was glad to see Stacey didn’t seem upset at his answer. Instead he felt her head rest on his shoulder, and with his arm around her waist, he couldn’t help but think how right it felt. Once the assistant went off to get what they required Stacey turned to face him and kissed him before resting her head on his chest. David then gently rested his chin on her head, feeling so close to her right then and enjoying every moment of it. Soon enough the assistant was back with their flat packed cot in a trolley and David then asked Stacey what was next on the list. Stacey replied saying there were a few things, but to just walk around and see what the store had for them. David smiled and nodded his head, “That sounds like a good idea to me Stacey.” He soon felt her wrap her arm around him as he pushed the trolley in the general direction Stacey seemed to be leading him. **** 2 & ½ hours later **** After spending at least another two and a half hours in the store making it around a three hour shop if not longer, Stacey finally settled on a changing table, baby bath which David thought looked absolutely adorable and couldn’t wait to bathe the baby in it with Stacey and finally a pram. So that were four of the big items taken care of and David could honestly say he had enjoyed the trip around the store immensely. He found he wasn’t able to appreciate it as much when he went there with his mom as a teenager, but being in there buying the items for your own child had much more of an impact on David. He constantly referred to Stacey’s unborn baby as his as well as Stacey’s now, he just thought it and said it without thinking, it really was as if it was all meant to be. Stacey also had a look at some of the baby outfits, but she didn’t seem to pick up any at that point to buy. David figured they still had enough time to get outfits in yet. However, as they had been wandering around, a couple of things had caught his eye and he simply couldn’t resist the urge to go back and pick them up and buy them. However he didn’t want Stacey to know what he was getting. So when she spoke saying she was getting kind of tired and it was time to pay for the stuff and head back if it was okay with him. David nodded his head, “Sure it’s okay with me.” He then pushed the trolley to the cash desk. Then thinking about those items he had seen, he knew he could have gone back to get them at any point, but he wanted to get them now. “Stay there a second, I’ll be right back I promise.” He knew exactly where he was going and it wasn’t far from the cash desk. He soon got to the area and picked up both the items which had caught his eye, one would be more a memory for Stacey and David really and the other was for the baby, but not exactly a toy. After picking up both items, he sneakily went to another cash desk which thankfully had nobody at it, paid for the items explaining they were surprises. The assistant nodded her head and put them into a gift bag for him and he immediately made his way back to the other cash desk queue. “I’m sorry about that, but my eye had caught something and I just had to get them. “ He chuckled slightly, and as luck would have it he got back to this cash desk just at the right time as it was their turn next. All the items got scanned and run through the till, the assistant told David how much they were to pay and he smiled at her. “I gather a cheque is no problem?” The assistant smiled, “That will be fine sir.” David wrote the cheque out for the total cost which had just come to over a thousand American dollars. David didn’t think it was a bad price considering the quality of the items they had purchased. He handed the cheque over with his cheque guarantee card and after he was given back his card with receipt, he pushed the trolley through to the other side and making sure Stacey was alright and following him he made his way out to the car. He packed up the boot of his car with the flat packed boxes and then slipped the bath and pram into the backseat of the car. Once he did this, he opened the passenger door to let Stacey into the car and then sort of ran round to his side and once he was in, he handed over the gift bag to Stacey. “I hope you like these Stacey, but when I saw them, I just couldn’t help myself.” He gave her a sheepish grin then and watched to see what she would think of what he had bought. The gift bag contained the following:

Stacey shrugged a little, when David said that he hadn't expected her to say anything in regards to what he said. She had wanted to, but the emotion coming from what he had said had gotten too much for her. David had then said that what he said had been all true, and Stacey smiled then, as he then kissed her cheek, and brought her in for a hug. She sighed slightly then, still loving what he had said. Stacey listened to what David said, as he spoke more about the sex of the baby, and what his mum had hoped for, and had inevitably gotten. So maybe she should keep on hoping and wishing for what she wanted then. Stacey smiled warmly, when David squeezed her hand. "I agree. But I will keep hoping for what I want." Hearing that his mum would be more than willing to help made her smile. Stacey wondered if she should contact her parents to let them know her own situation, but really all in good time, and she knew that she could talk to David about it all. "That's great. I think I will need all the help I can get from someone who knows what they are doing. I just hope that I will do okay with dealing with a baby who is going to be dependent on me, on both of us." Hearing his comment about what she had said put a smile on her face. "Good. I think both of us will never let you down. I have a feeling." Stacey hoped so anyway, but lately she had a feeling that if it was a girl, then she would make sure that they never turned out like she did, keeping them on the right track. After the assistant went and got the cot for them, Stacey was loving the embrace they were in right then, and let a smile creep across her face as she felt David's chin rest on her head. **** 2 1/2 hours later **** After the time they spent in the store, Stacey finally said that she was ready to go as she was tired. She nodded when David acknowledged that it was okay with him for them to go. They had just gotten to the area to pay for the items, when he told her to stay right there, and that he would be right back. Stacey kind of frowned, but nodded. "Okay." She then turned back to the trolley, and wondered what he was doing. Stacey might have been some stuff on their way to the front of the store, but nothing that she had to desperately get. While she waited, she was thinking more about whether to contact her parents. For all she knew they might not have the same number, or they might have moved. Stacey brought out her phone, and unlocked it, contemplating dialling the numbers. She started to, when David came back, so Stacey just cancelled the numbers, and locked her phone again. He spoke then, which made Stacey eye off the bag he was holding. She looked at him then, raising an eyebrow. "Okay then." Stacey then began to wonder again what he had gotten. They were soon off paying for the items, and David wrote out a cheque. Soon enough they were outside, and she watched him put the boxes into his car. Stacey got into the car, after he opened her door, and then they were soon in the car. She was just clipping her seatbelt on when David handed over the bag with the things he had bought before. Stacey wanted to say that he shoudn't have, but instead smiled, "Thank you." She peered inside the bag, and pulled out one box, containing the money box, and then gasped at the sight of the photo frame. Once again the waterworks came upon Stacey. "Thank you so much David. They are beautiful." She put them down in her lap, and then reached over and hugged David. Stacey pulled away from him then, and sat back, eyeing off the photo frame. "I can't wait to fill this one especially. Though I think that our next shopping trip will have to be for a camera as well, as I seriously need a new one." Stacey then turned to the front, waiting for them to head back to her apartment.

David smiled when Stacey said she agreed but that she would keep hoping for what she wanted, “Well maybe I should do some hoping of my own then, two lots of hope are better than one.” Really he wouldn’t care either way but he knew he would probably cope better with a baby girl than a baby boy, just because of his past experience with his twin sisters. David had then added that he was pretty sure his mom would be willing to help her if necessary. He just smiled once more at Stacey’s response, “Well you will have me and my mom, so that’s two lots of help right there, and Stacey we can’t predict what the future is going to bring us that much is true, but I am sure you will do just fine dealing with a baby who is dependent on you.” He did notice she added both of us, but he couldn’t help but say this to her as if he was just reminding her, or hopefully giving her some sort of clarification, “And remember you won’t be alone, just like you added, they will be dependent on both of us, and I am sure together, we will do the best we can for being first time parents.” David couldn’t believe he was saying that, he had wanted to be a daddy for a while now, and now here he was getting ready to become a family. He could never have predicted falling in love with a pregnant woman a few months ago, but he had and he was just as excited about the shopping trip as Stacey was. When Stacey said she thought both of them would never let him down he gave her a warm smile, “Well I don’t think for one minute either of you will, I don’t think you could ever let me down Stacey even if you tried.” With their relationship starting off with David as Stacey’s therapist, he had seen at her lowest and even if they had any rough spots in their relationship which most good relationships did, he knew he would be able to bring them back on top again. Being a therapist could either be a blessing or a curse for their relationship, who knew. **** 2 ½ hours later **** After they had spent quite a bit of time in the store and Stacey had mentioned about getting tired and wanting to go, David had agreed but when he got them to the cash desk he had told her he would be right back and she was to stay where she was. He had seen a couple of items he couldn’t help but get as a surprise gift for Stacey. He had even sneakily bought them at another counter and got them put into a gift bag, so she couldn’t see right away what he had bought when he made his way back to the other cash desk. Soon enough the items were paid for and David was pushing the trolley out to the car. He soon got the items into the car and after opening the passenger door for Stacey to get in he had made his way round to the driver’s side and once inside handed her over the gift bag. Stacey thanked him before she even opened the bag and David smiled, “You’re welcome.” He then watched as she opened the bag to look at the items he had bought, he hoped she would love them as much as he had when he saw them on the shelves. He got the reaction from her which he had hoped he would get, she seemed to like them, which made him smile all the more especially when she gasped slightly at the photo frame. “I’m glad you like them, and again you’re welcome.” He then watched as she put the items on her lap and leaned across to give him a hug. Naturally David hugged her back feeling happy he had made a good choice in the gifts. Stacey then leaned back in the seat and spoke more about the frame, saying she couldn’t wait to fill it but that their next shopping trip would have to entail buying a camera. David started the engine and backed the car out of the space and once he was on the open road heading for Stacey’s apartment, he glanced at her and smiled, “Well, when you feel ready for another trip you know all you have to do is give me a holler right? I’ve got a good camera and a video camera, but obviously you want one too as I might not always be at home when she does something you just want to capture there and then, besides you can never have too many cameras for photo opportunities.” And there he went saying she again, well it was better than saying they or it, and in a few months they would soon find out, but something told him Stacey was having a baby girl. It didn’t take David too long to get them back to Stacey’s apartment, and after jumping round to open the passenger door for her, he went and retrieved the items from the car starting with the flat packed boxes. “I’ll get the bath and pram after I get these inside, did you want me to come in for a while after, or do you just want to go sleep for a while? I don’t mind either way, but if you were happy for me to come in I was thinking you could just rest up on the sofa and I could give your feet a massage.”

Stacey nodded in acknowledgement of what David was saying to her. she knew that she wouldn't know of what was to come when the baby came, when it actually happened. But she would still think about how she would handle any situation that came to her, to the both of them. Stacey was still glad that she had someone like David with her, as she still wondered what would have happened if she had never taken Debbie's advice to see him. Would she been in this content state right now? Or would she actually be worse then what she was before she met David, and actually have no baby to speak of, especially after her trip to the hospital that fateful day. "I am glad that I have you and your mum to help. I still don't know what I would do without you." She gave him a quick hug, then listened to what else he had to say. "I know I won't be alone, and I have you to thank for that. You helped me alot, long before you even told me your feelings for me." She sighed a little, just grateful for what she had now: a loving boyfriend, a baby on the way, and a new job, one that was flexible. Stacey felt so blessed right now. "And I am sure that with each other help, we will do fine as first time parents." **** 2 1/2 hours later **** They were soon on the road, heading back to her place, and David replied to what she said about the camera that she knew she wanted to buy. "I will. But I don't want to wait too long. Maybe next weekend? And yes, you can never have too many camera to use. But nothing to complicated for me. Something that is good, but not loaded with all these buttons and gadgets that I have no idea what they are used for, okay?" Stacey giggled a little then, resting her head back, and enjoyed the rest of the trip back home. They were soon back at her apartment, and David opened the door for her. "Thanks." She slowly got out, as David retrieved some of the things from the car. Stacey closed the door, and put her bag over her shoulder, and held the bag that held the two very important gifts that he had bought her. He then asked if she wanted him to come in for a while, or if she wanted to just go for a sleep. Stacey was a little exhausted from the trip, but was no where near tired enough to sleep. "It would be nice if you could stay." She then wrapped her arms around him, hugging him for a few seconds, resting her head on his shoulder. Stacey then pulled away, and headed up to her apartment door. Once it was open, Stacey held it open for David to come through with the boxes. "You can just put them in my room if you want. Just prop them up again the far wall. It won't be in my way then. Thanks David." Stacey then headed over to the lounge. She put the gift back on the table gently, with her bag, then practically plopped herself on the lounge, laying slightly, but still kind of sitting up. She then remembered the peanut butter slices in her bag. So she sat up, reaching over to her bag to retrieve them. Stacey wasn't that hungry, feeling more tired than she thought she was. So putting the slices on the table, she half laid down, waiting for David to come out.

When Stacey said she was glad that she had him and his mom to help he gave her a smile, and then she added that didn’t know what she would do without him and gave him a quick hug. “I don’t plan on going anywhere, so you won’t be losing me anytime soon.” He chose his words carefully, not because he thought there was a chance he would leave her because there was no way in hell that was ever going to happen, but he wasn’t an immortal being, and truth was everyone dies eventually and so sadly would he but not for a very long time if he had anything to do with it. Stacey had then gone on to say she knew she wouldn’t be alone and she had him to thank for that, adding that he had done a lot to help her before he had even admitted feelings for her. Well that was just David doing his job really. He felt there were no words he could say to answer what Stacey had just said, instead he just hugged her to himself again. “I wouldn’t have had it any other way.” He eventually said. When Stacey said she was sure with each other’s help they would do fine as first time parents David grinned at her, “I know we will.” *** 2 ½ hours later *** Once they were on their way back to Stacey’s apartment and she commented about buying a camera he had commented about having a good camera and a video camera, but that Stacey should have one for photo opportunities when he wasn’t around, which with working would be inevitable sometimes. He had to laugh lightly at her response over the type of camera. If he hadn’t been driving he would have put his hands up in mock surrender at her, instead he glanced and winked slightly, “Don’t worry, you can pick the camera you want, I’ll just advise on whether it’s a good enough make or not.” He did notice her giggle slightly before resting her head back on the car seat. “And next weekend is fine with me.” Maybe they could get a few more items in for the baby while they were at it. After David had parked up the car and opened the door for Stacey to get out and retrieved some of the items to take inside he had asked her if she just wanted to rest up for a while or did she want him to come in. When she replied saying she would like it if he could stay he smiled brightly at her. “That’s settled then, of course I’ll stay.” He soon felt her wrap her arms around him hugging him with her head on his shoulder. He instinctively rested his chin gently on the top of her head for that short time that position was held for. Stacey soon pulled away and began heading to her apartment door and David naturally followed, he had two rather heavy boxes after all. Stacey was soon holding the door open for David and he walked in with the boxes and she told him to put them into her bedroom for now. He smiled at her, “Alright honey.” He then did as he was instructed, once he had them resting up against the far wall and made sure neither would be in her way he quickly jumped back out to the car and grabbed the bath and pram and soon had them in her bedroom safely against the far wall also. Once he had locked the car and flipping the alarm on, he made his way into Stacey’s living room. He soon saw her half lying down on the sofa. “It looks as if you’re more tired than you thought.” He made his way over to where she was and bent down to gently kiss her, then standing back up again he smiled down at her, “So, what would you like for me to do? Sit down and let you rest your head on my lap so you can fall asleep for a while, or rest your head against a pillow and let me massage your feet, because I’m happy with either choice.” His eyes were twinkling as he looked down at her smiling waiting on her to reply, he would do anything for Stacey. If she told him that she had changed her mind and would rather just go to bed and have him go home, then that’s what he would do. {ooc - you know I'm gonna keep saying it, but sorry for delay. It's probably not the best either, but I'm trying to rush my posts to get through as many as possible}

After she gave him a quick hug and David replied to what she said, Stacey looked at him, "Good." She then gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Stacey had never imagined feeling like this ever again, and now she was more in love than she had ever been before. Everything that had happened to her just seemed to be leading up to this most wonderful moment. Stacey just loved David more than anything, and she hoped it would be for sometime yet. **** 2 1/2 hours later **** Stacey nodded, smiling at what they were talking about. She was never one to go overboard with using a camera. But she felt that a good camera was needed when the baby came along. Stacey had seen on the internet all these images from parents, first time ones or just ones who always took pictures of their children, and just shook her head in amazement of how many they take. But she wouldn't really understand until the baby came, then she knew she might just understand it all. David then added that next weekend was fine with him. "That's settled then. A good camera is definately on the agenda to take pictures of this little one." Stacey placed her hands on her stomach, rubbing it a little. She was excited and scared to know that she would soon have a baby to look after in around three and a half months time. But knowing that David would be there was reassuring. Stacey was glad that he was going to stay for however long she wanted hm there. She just wanted him there, and that was all that mattered right now. As Stacey hugged into him, she felt David rest his chin on her head. She closed her eyes for a second or two just taking in the moment again. Stacey hadn't meant to just be almost laying on the lounge, but she was feeling more tired than she was before. She gave David a sheepish grin when he commented on how she looked. "Maybe just stopping has done it to me. I wasn't so tired before, but it must have caught up to me all of a sudden." Stacey lent up as he kissed her, and she placed a hand on his face gently. She gave him a warm smile as they parted, letting her hand drop away from his face. Stacey listened to what David's suggestions were, and both sounded good. Though one sounded a lot better now as she thought about it. "Well, I think I would like to rest my head in your lap. We could talk for a little bit." In order for David to do what she wanted, she knew she had to move. So Stacey sat up a bit, resting her hands behind her, waiting for David to make his move. She grabbed a pillow then, and held it in order to place it under her head.

David gave Stacey a warm smile when she agreed to go shopping for a new camera the following weekend. When Stacey placed her hands on her stomach David smiled all the more, he so wanted to put his own hand over hers, but knew it was a bit dangerous whilst driving and the last thing he wanted to do was put Stacey and the baby’s life in jeopardy. “I’ll look forward to it.” He would as well, because he had really enjoyed the shopping trip with Stacey today and couldn’t wait to go on another one buying more baby things together. The way David was acting you would never think that the baby Stacey was carrying wasn’t really his; he was so committed that could never blame anybody for believing he was the actual father and he loved it, he would shout it from the rooftops it weren’t so dangerous and he might fall off.
After David commented that she was possibly more tired than she thought he smiled warmly at her response. “Well it’s only to be expected Stacey. Your body goes through so many changes when you’re pregnant, carrying extra weight you aren’t used to and you’ve just been for quite a shopping trip. I have no problem with you resting up while I’m here.” David hoped the doctor in him didn’t come out too often, not that he was a medical doctor, but as stated previously he has some basic medical knowledge even for just being a therapist.
David had then bent down slightly to kiss her and as he did so, he soon felt her hand on his face. It was such a lovely touch. Once they had parted he saw that smile of hers which just lit up her whole face, all he could do was smile back at her. He was definitely in love. Stacey was the one for him and he just knew he wanted to marry her. He just had to hope that she would want to marry him, although given the way they currently were with each other he couldn’t see why she wouldn’t. Then again, her last engagement didn’t last; maybe he shouldn’t go jumping in too deep too soon. He then snapped out of his thoughts realising that he was probably quiet for too long.
David had then given Stacey a couple of suggestions and once she picked one, he nodded his head and smiled brightly at her. “That sounds like a good idea to me.” Stacey then sat up a bit and David sat down gently and placed one hand on her stomach to guide her as she lay down onto his lap with her head on the pillow. Once she was in position he looked down at her, and keeping his hand on her stomach he allowed his other one to gently run through her hair. “I love you Anastacia Potter.” Then he gently tapped her stomach, “And I love you too little one.” Wondering and almost hoping that he would get a reply back with a little kick telling him that he or she loved him back.

Stacey nodded at what David was saying about how she was tired. She knew that, but she had read that in the second trimester you are meant to be more energetic. Well she had been that morning, but by the middle of the day, she was just exhausted. "I know. But with everything that I have read, I should have more energy. Well I did this morning, when I asked for you to come over." Stacey smiled a little, remembering how she had texted him to come over. Her hormones were definately raging then.
After David kissed her, all was quiet for a few seconds between them, and she looked at him with admiration, wondering what he was thinking about. Stacey knew what she was constantly thinking about. David was one, but the whole thing still of having to push this baby out of her in three and a half months was still kind of scaring her a bit. Though the idea of booking in those classes were a good idea, and might prepare her more for that moment. Still it was scaring the shit out of her.
Stacey had waited for David to sit behind her, so that she could lay down in his lap, with the pillow behind her head. Once she was in position, with the help of David, she was finally laying down. The feel of his hand on her stomache was nice, and she placed her hand next to his, with her fingers touching his own. As he started to run his other hand through her hair, Stacey closed her eyes, and mumured a little. She was feeling rather relaxed right at that moment. The day at been great, but exhausting now, looking back at it.
As she slowly opened her eyes, David said that hie loved her. A warm smile crept onto her lips, looking hin right in his blue eyes. "I love you too David. More than you will ever know." Stacey then looked as David gently tapped at her stomache, and said that he loved the baby also. "Aww.." was all Stacey could get out, as she looked at David. But her eyes diverted back to her stomache, when she felt a kick. Just feeling that brought tears to Stacey's eyes. "It looks like someone agrees too."
