Pizza Hut Laughlin, NV December 6th, 2009 Molly sat in a booth at the local pizza hut. Her friends had already left and she was waiting for Matt to get on his lunch break so she could sit and talk to him while he ate. She missed talking to him, like normal days, back in New York but she loved living here. Munching on her last bread stick she looked around the place seeing if, Johnny, the bust boy was around. Since she came here a lot he and her made a friendship well more like her crushing on the sixteen year old. It wouldn’t surprise her if had a girlfriend but it wouldn’t bother her either way. A crush was a crush right? Molly checked her cell wondering if her dad would ever show up on time. She hated sitting alone looking like she was a loner. All her friends had left, going to the mall and here she was waiting for her dad the cop. If that didn’t get her noticed nothing would.

Matt had received his new assignment from his superior today. It was for him to locate a special who had the ability to locate people with her mind. It was an ability that the government deemed worthy for Matt to mimic, so he could locate the more dangerous people more effectively. After reading the special's profile, it was a girl named Molly Walker. She was originally in custody of the Company but now was living with a Matt Parkman, a telepath.
"No way... I'm not doing it. This time you can screw yourselves, I'm not your pet!" Matt said to the superior, banging his fists on the table as the superior looked at Matt, his eyes widened. "You forget your place, mimic. Don't forget, I have your ass in a prison cell so fast, even you couldn't keep up." The superior said to Matt, pointing at him. "You really think you can keep doing this?" Matt said to the superior as he looked at him with murderous eyes.
"Listen up you special freak! You do what I say. NOW GO AND GET THAT POWER!" He roared at Matt, Matt glaring at him. "You better watch how you speak to me... Or else..." Matt said, getting up and turning for the door as his superior glared back to him. "I want you to absorb that power by the end of the day! Or else you'll end up in that cell!" The superior yelled, Matt's eye twitching with anger.
"Yes sir..." He said darkly, speeding out of the room and towards Nevada, the known location of Molly Walker. Within a couple of minutes he had appeared in the Pizza Hut that was identified as her current location. He walked in it, looking around to see the lone girl sitting on her own, looking as though she were waiting for someone.
"Molly Walker?" Matt said to her, walking towards her with a neutral face. He just wanted to get her power and leave.

Molly was using her breadstick as a make shift pen and her sauce, writing out a name, on what was left of her pizza. She quickly shook her day dream of Micah Sanders out of her mind as she looked up at the man. He was cute but she knew better than to trust anyone around here. Her father was on the force here and she had a power people wanted. With that combination nothing good of seeing an older man talking to her.
“Who would you be?”
Her blue eyes looked into the man’s brown ones. She didn’t tell him that she was indeed Molly nor that she wasn’t so if this man turned out to be on her dad’s team that meant she wouldn’t get in trouble. Matt Parkman always had something on Molly to get her into trouble. She was filling out, in the womanhood department and that meant boys had crushes on her. Most of the heroes she knew back in New York would always marvel at the young girl’s appearance.
She swayed her long brown hair as her head turned away from the man. “I’m not suppose to talk to strangers.” Though she always did but she liked to play with people’s minds. Maybe that came from Matt who did it with his power. He was growing off on her.

Matt just smiled as the girl asked him who he was. He was inclined to say that he had made a mistake and leave, but then again he didn't want to ruin things. Not when he had a... well, a date with the barmaid back home. He wanted to see her again... So he decided to lie. Sort of... "Someone who needs your help, Ms. Walker. I'm Matt. Matt Tobruk." Matt said to her, smiling friendly at her.
When she sort of tossed her hair as she turned away from Matt, saying that she wasn't supposed to speak to strangers. Matt just looked at her, raising an eyebrow as she spoke. It seemed almost rude. But then again she was a teenage girl. He knew that there was something going on in her head. But he wasn't going to use that power... Not unless it was absolutely necessary. "Well that's a good attitude to have... But I really do need your assistance." Matt said, looking at the seat and then back to Molly.
"May I join you for a moment?" He asked her.

“My help?” Molly questioned this Matt as she gives him a look. It was nice that someone needed her help. Matt didn’t really need her help anymore like he had when they were in New York and Mohinder wasn’t around so he defiantly didn’t need her help. Her friends didn’t know about her powers and the ones that did only came around whenever they did need help. “It will cost you.”
Molly turns back to Matt giving him a nod, to sit down. “What can I do I’m just a girl.” She noted that she didn’t say teenager maybe because it seemed like girls got crappy powers. She was need for something to be in her life for more then just a second like most people were. “Who do you work for?” She wondered if he was from the Company but then thought he didn’t fit the bill for them. She wanted the truth, from everyone, she wanted to know why Sylar was still alive, why Mohinder didn’t call and why she had to be alone.

Matt narrowed his eyes a little as the girl said that it would cost him for her to help him. Screw that, all he had to do was touch her and her power would be copied into his DNA. Then he could leave. But he didn't want to do that, as she could track him... so he thought he may as well be in good terms with her. He nodded when she nodded to the seat, sitting down across from her.
When she said she was just a girl, Matt simple looked at her with an expression that showed he knew exactly who she was. "Really? So you're not Molly Walker? No ability of Clairvoyance? Can't locate people with your mind?" Matt asked her, pulling out a brief copy of her file and putting it on the table for a moment before putting it back into his jacket. "I work for the government Ms. Walker. And they've decided your gift would be ideal to help them catch criminals." Matt said to her, replying after she had asked who he worked for.
"Now, you need to understand that no I don't work for the Company, yes I can explain why Sylar is still alive, but you thinking you're alone, that's your problem." Matt said, tapping his head with a finger. "For someone who lives with a telepath, you're not very good at blocking thoughts." He said to her. "Now, in order for you to help the government, all you need to do is touch my hand, and my power will allow me to mimic your power. And then I'll leave this file with you, hoping it can answer your questions and I'll never been seen in your life again." Matt said to her, holding out his hand to her.
"What do you say Ms. Walker? Do you want to be more than just a little girl?" He asked her.

She gave him a small smile and giggle at his expression. It was as if her whole attitude changed in one moment. She was now the little girl from New York. “Okay so I am her.” She stated looking at the file as Matt put it away. “So I can have a job?” Her eyes lit up thinking about all the good she could do. That was something she never would have thought up since at one point in time the government was capturing people like herself. Maybe she would go into the same line of work as her father.
Her eyes scan his as he tells her what she is thinking. “I don’t have to block my thoughts because my father doesn’t read my mind anymore unlike some people.” Molly cant help but give him a small glare. It was one thing for her father to read her mind but this was a stranger. “How would you like it if I tracked your every move every day?”
“Oh.” Her eyes sadden, he wasn’t here to ask for her help not really. “You’re like Peter.” She didn’t tell Matt Peter’s last name knowing very well that Peter Petrelli was famous all around. “What does the file say?” She knew everything about her dead parents and she knew that her grandmother had a power, did that mean there was something else about her past she forgot. “If I give you my power I want something in return.” She hadn’t really a clue what she wanted but she needed something out of this arrangement.

"No... Not exactly a job. More like a generous contribution. One that would work well in your favor." Matt said to Molly, answering her questions about Matt offering a job. What the hell, that was a random question, even for a girl of her age. Why the hell would a government department hire a teenager? However she then began to dig into Matt about reading her mind.
"Yeah well I needed to know that it was you that I was speaking too. I had to make sure you weren't a shapaeshifter or something." Matt said, not really caring about reading the girl's mind. It's not like there was in her head that would be incriminating. When she asked how Matt would feel if she tracked him all the time, Matt just smiled. "That's the good thing about telepathy. I'll know." He said with a small chuckle.
"Peter?" Matt asked her, not sure exactly who the hell Peter was. He didn't really keep track of others like himself. He only knew about Alex and Emilie that held a similar power to Matt. However she began to ask questions about the file and that in return for her ability, she'd want something. "Well basically ou'll get that file... Something we don't dooften. You have the chance to look back over your entire life. Find out things such as who killed your grandmother. Why the Company was so interested in you. Questions you want the answers to." He said to her, pulling out her file, with his hand over it. "So, all you have to do is touch my hand Ms. Walker, and all your questions will be answered." Matt said with a smile.

(sorry for the delay been sick I have a fever)
“I don’t like contributions.” Molly spat out, well she didn’t, it never gave her anything in return. She didn’t like helping people without seeing kindness on their faces and she wouldn’t see anything if he took her power. “Damnit.” He was right when she searched for Matt he always knew she was looking. It wasn’t fair. “Fine you win.”
Molly put her hands on the table. “Petrelli!” She gave him a roll of her eyes as if he should have known Peter personally. “He’s like the awesomest of us.” She held Peter high for some reason maybe that was her crush on him. She looked at the file. “Um I would love to know that.” She took his hand grabbing it hard giving him a smirk. “You still owe me. I’ll call when your needed.”

Matt just smiled as she reluctantly agreed that Matt would be allowed to absorb her power. He just extended a hand, touching her hand with his for a moment, before pulling it back. "Done." He simply said, smiling warmly at her. "And yes, you can still use your power. I don't steal. I copy." He said to her. After he had mentioned Peter's name in confusion, Molly mentioned his last name and instantly Matt knew who it was she was referring to.
"Ah yes. Yeah, he is kinda cool. It's nice to see someone out there using their powers to help people." Matt said, smiling weakly. He helped people with his powers... Just not the same way as Peter did. People got hurt when Matt helped out. However it was Molly's next comment that made Matt frown at her. He owed her? What the hell was this?
"I owe you nothing. You have a file that I can get arrested for giving to you. That's your payment." Matt said as he prepared to get up to leave. He had gotten what he came for, so there was no reason to stay.

Molly looked at his hand as he moved it away from her. She had never given someone her power before it was weird. “Good cause if you stole it and I couldn’t use it anymore you’d be in trouble.” She left it at that until he then realized who Peter was. “He is way cool no matter what you say.” For all she could have known this guys could be evil. She needed to stay away from strangers. “Whatever.” She huffed, she still would get something else out of this one day. “You can leave now.”
(OOC: guess we are done right?)
