The world was dark.
Adam slowly opened his eyes, but found that this place was devoid of ay light.
Where am I?
Adam brought his hands up to caress his straining eyes, and his heart sank instantly as his hand came to rest against a soft silk layer of cousioning. Slowly his hands began to move along the surface of the barrier. His open hands began to turn to fists as his teeth grinded against each other.
Adam began to beat against the coffin's lid, pushing in vain against the massive weight that trapped him underground.
"HIRO!"
But already his breaths were becoming shorter and more forced. His kicks as punches weakened, and the scent of his own sweat and tears came rushing over him. Adam didn't know how long he had been down here. He didn't know how many times he had died. All that he did know was that Hiro would pay for this. No matter what Adam had to do, once he got out of this place, he would devote his life to ensuring that Hiro Nakamura suffured one hundred times more than he had.
Adam felt his body go limp as he began gasping for breath. The pain in his lungs was overwhelming, and he vaugely felt his hands grasping at his throat.
Hiro would pay...
his eyes glazed over as his body went through a series of violent spasams, before he finally went limp once more.
The world was dark.

Kenji heard about this man, Adam. He heard that he also was special. Having the ability to heal which had grown until immortality. He heard that Adam had lived through many wars. Though every war he was in, his side had lost. Though Adam had something Kenji could use. Adam had lived amongst military geniuses.
Kenji knew that he could gain this knowledge from the man. So he began his research through his sources. He learned more and more about the man as he got closer and closer to to finding out where he went. All information led to a man named Hiro. Hiro was the last man to have seen him. He found this man and found that he had buried him in a grave at a Japanese cemetery.
Kenji continued to search for more information about Nakamura. He then found out that Hiro's father was murdered and was recently buried in a cemetery not far from Toyko. Kenji began his journey to this cemetry. He wondered around the cemetry for hours. Until he heard a muffled scream. He centered on the grave in which he thought, but was absolutely sure that was where the noise had come from. Being a government employee he had the right to dig up graves, and so he began. Digging six feet down, down to where the coffin would be. He had finally reached the coffin in a matter of twenty minutes. He cleaned off the dirt and unlocked the coffin. Opening the coffin, he saw a man. But he wasn't sure if it was him. The man had looked dead. Not breathing, no heart beat.
"Adam?" he asked.

As Adam's senses slowly returned to him, he thought that he could hear a voice. It almost sounded as if it was calling his name...
A faint breeze blew against his face, and his eyes snapped open. He took a deep breath of fresh air, the first that he had had in months.
"Am I... I'm out?"
He sat up, rubbed his eyes, and glanced around. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the bright sunlight. He was free from his prison.
Adam stood up and climbed out as quickly as he could, eager to leave his premature tomb behind him. It wasn't until he was back on solid ground and brushing the dirt from his clothes that he saw the man that must have dug him up in the first place.
It was a Japanese man, shorter than Adam was, but with just as much bearing it seemed. Adam was ready to run if this man tried anything funny. But he was more interested in how he knew where to find him.
"And who are you, exactly?" Adam asked, his eyes reflecting his inner suspicions.

"Sorry for my rudeness. My name is Kenji, Kenji Saito. I need your help, Adam." Kenji began to explain. He watched the man clean himself off. Looking from Adam to the coffin and back. "I understand your anger from the man who had put you here. But there is no time for that." he said. He walked towards his vehicle, hoping that Adam would follow.
