Since having his memory erased Alex had been trying to live like a normal kid. One thing that normal kids do in this time was go to school. The idea of being with people his own age to study really didn't excite the young boy. But he enrolled himself none the less. Mourning classes went by slowly but surly. Lunch time at school, that was fun right? Not so much for Alex. He didn't know anyone which really sucked. It felt like he was missing something. All the kids fell into crowds of groups wearing the same style of clothing and listening to the same music. Alex gazed around the lunchroom with confusion. (Where do I fit in around here?) He thought to himself.
Having gone through the small lunch line Alex was a bit disappointed in the food his was given. Being a growing boy you would think the food would be large enough to fill him up, but instead it looked like microwave oven food. Sighing he took his tray of food and walked over to an empty round table and sat down in a chair. Most everyone else was busy chatting around him or still trying to get their food from the lunch line. Looking over his tray of food the only normal looking item was the bottle of soda. He brushed the little pile of veggies off his tray. It looked as if he was going to live off of soda for the rest of the day. That meant less time during lunch eating and more time looking around like a loser.
Alex suddenly got the urge to eat outside. He went over to the front doors and sat down. Kids were not allowed out there so he would most likely get into trouble. But Alex didn't know about this rule yet. He began eating his sand which that he bought. Looking into the school parking lot at all the teachers cars. He wondered how much each of them coasts. But he dismissed the idea as he started to play a game with himself. Out of each line of cars which ones were his favorite. He spent the entire lunch playing this little game until he felt a presences lurking around. Someone with an evil intent.

Sylar had begun his hunting down of specials again; He was far from being finished, at least until something major happened in his life. This week he had been tracking down a special that possessed aquatic adaptation abilities that could be often thought of as a big rip off of Aquaman from comic books. Sure, Aquaman was often thought of as one of the most useless heroes in the comic universe, but the ability to swim faster then a speeding boat as well as breath in water appealed to Sylar; Drowning was something he hadn't tested yet on his ability to regenerate, and he wasn't going to try. Not only was the ability to breath under water appealing, but the ability to swim faster then a shark would make it far easier for him to track down specials that could possibly be in the Armed Forces such as the Navy, especially those hiding on a ship. How could he be accused of murdering someone aboard a ship if it would be impossible that he would be there?
The man that Sylar was tracking down was the swim instructor at a public school in New Jersey. Before becoming an instructor the man had even been up for candidacy for Olympic swimming until an accident resulted in a broken leg. Sylar had been keeping an eye on the man for awhile as he watched him swim back in forth in the public pool after closing hours, moving at speeds beyond humans and staying underneath the water for incredible durations, studying the man and his ability closely. Sure, Sylar could have taken the ability then without any harm to the man, but it made only more sense to be certain: Watching him in public was the best way.
Sylar had taken the form of a student at the school, one who was on the swim team and a senior in high school, however this form was only to get him into the school undetected; He had gained this form earlier by using a previously stolen police vehicle to pull over the student and kill him, effectively abandoning the police vehicle and wiping out the surveillance equipment and computer systems through a small EMP generated through Induced Radioactivity. As he got to the pool he greeted the instructor and both raced in the pool; The speed was incredibly slow compared to what the man had demonstrated before and seemed to be faking fatigue. This was proof to Sylar that the man had been hiding his ability, even after the revealing of their kind; Too bad it didn't protect him.
As Sylar got out of the water along with the instructor they both faced each other and smiled. "Good job Lucas, pretty soon you'll be faster then me." The instructor then extended his hand to him as a sign of congratulations to Sylar, as if he had a chance to actually beat the man. Sylar smiled back, "Oh, I can see that happening very soon." He then extended his hand as if he was about to shake the instructors hand before suddenly straightening it out and waving it to the side, sending the instructor flying into the wall, pinned and helpless.
As Sylar crossed one arm and rested the other on his chin as he looked at the helpless instructor he smirked, knowing very well there was no hope for this man; The students were all on their lunch break, which meant the sound of screams would be muffled out by the students loud talking in the lunch room. He shifted back into his own form, looking down at his swimming speed-o and smirked, "I don't get why you guys dress like this... so uncomfortable. I guess it won't be as uncomfortable as what's about to happen to you."
Sylar raised his hand, extending his index and middle finger, and brought it slowly to the left. As he moved his hand a cut began to come across the instructors forehead, slicing into his skull and causing him to scream in excruciating pain before passing out... Sylar then dropped him to the floor, removed his skull, and studied...

Alex acted on his feelings he gained threw his ability to sense emotions. As he grew closer and closer to the man with the lust for knowledge and power he felt another presence within the same area. Another man with feelings of complete pain and it was as if his mind was slowly fadding away along with any emotions the guy was having. Alex flashed to where these to were. What he saw he could not explain. It looked like a scene from a horror movie. The guy on the floor with his head cut open and a man studying it like some piece of technical scrap machine. Alex clenched his fist and looked at the poor teachers body.
"Hey!" Alex shouted at the guy. "What are you doing to him? Leave him alone." He ordered the killer. Now Alex was known to be a fighter in his time. But since he had been sort of restarted Alex wanted to keep this sort of calm. He didn't know Sylar by name or face but he had heard of a killer whom stole abilities by cutting off peoples heads. Alex watched as the red blood seeped into the pool turning it a crimson color. Alex's eyes grew angry as he realized what the man had done. "You took his power." He stated in a harsh tone. The young boy was small and looked helpless. Tears fell from his eyes yet he didn't even know the man. His hart started to beat faster and faster as he clenched his fists. He tapped into his time reversal ability.
Alex raised his hand as a white glow came about. The teachers brain began to close up and his for head like a magnite flew across the floor to the rest of its body. The head reattached itself and the man slowly came forth. Blood rushing down his face. The guy looked all around frightened of what just happened. "Run." Alex told the man. The guy did as he was instructed. Alex now turned his attention to Sylar. He gave him a smirk. "By studying the brain your able to gain knowledge of there powers. Your the killer they all fear, well I'm the kid who loves them all. You attack one of us you attack us all." Alex told the man in front of him. "I don't believe in good or evil. But I do believe that we all are connected to each other. People with abilities must help one another. Your killing them for personal gain. That's unfair to his family or his loved ones." Alex told Sylar. "I cant let you kill any of us anymore."

"Hey! What are you doing to him? Leave him alone."
A young boy shouted at Sylar in a commanding tone as he studied the brain. He merely ignored the kid for a moment before touching a point in the brain, "Ah, there it is..." Sylar smirked as he gained another ability: Aquatic Adaptation. Sylar then stood shortly after finding what he wanted as the lights in the man's eyes went dimmer as he grew closer to death. Sylar now had not only the ability but the knowledge of how to use it from the man's brain, making the ability already second nature to him almost immediately. "Too bad, I didn't really wish to have to hurt anyone more then what w-"
"You took his power."
Sylar was interrupted mid-sentence by the child, only revealing to him that the kid was already aware of the teacher's ability and that, possibly, he too possessed a power. Now things were really getting interesting; It was turning into a two-for-one special and it looked as though Sylar was about to get the last one. Before even getting a chance to question the child about whether or not he had an ability the kid raised his hand and almost immediately began to glow as time seemed to reverse on the teacher, repairing the damage that Sylar had performed to the man.
"Run."
In a matter of seconds the man was awake and took off running as the kid had instructed, however Sylar extended his hand and grabbed the man from behind, holding him by the throat. "He can't be allowed to leave. I let him go and it'll draw attention. After all, how many adults do you know that were in speed-o's running away in a panic and didn't draw a commotion... no, he stays."
As Sylar looked over the kid his intuitive aptitude told him that this ability wasn't natural just like Sylar's weren't and so he was either a mimic like Peter or a mimic like Sylar. Either way the kid possibly possessed a few abilities already that would be interesting to pick up on. "And as for you, I've always wondered what another power mimic looked like inside those heads of yours. And that was quite the unique ability you just showed me. I can't wait to learn it myself." Sylar then extended his palm forward towards Alex, sending a wave of telekinetic energy that would slam and hold him against the wall if it struck.

The child fulled with rage as his kind was being harmed. This is why he left the future from what Matt had revealed to him. Sylar told himself that he obtained the information he was looking for and with it the knowledge of how to use this new ability. If only he knew that Alex had a whole stack of abilities awaiting Sylars picking. Alex glared at the man. Sylar told Alex that he didn't want to hurt anyone else but Alex interrupted him. The young boy wouldn't give this killer time to talk. Alex wasn't sure if the teacher really had a power or not but he just assumed. As he walked in the man was thinking that this was the killer that the specials all feared would come for them. Alex didn't share the fear. Maybe because he was stronger then most or perhaps he was to naive to believe such a man could kill him.
Alex returned the man to normal and sent him on his way. He believed he had saved his life. But before the guy could manage to escape Sylar grabbed him saying it'll draw attention if he were to leave. Alex's eyes widened with surprise. How sick this man was. He had obtained the ability he came for yet he still would kill the guy just to have this event stay quite before the body would be found. Alex felt the pain inside Sylars hart. He felt his hunger and his desire to know all. Alex was slowly absorbing Sylars abilities without realizing it. He soon looked at Sylar curious as to the knowledge he had inside his head. How he would sound screaming in pain as the teacher had done. These thoughts were knew to Alex. He felt Sylar studying him with his intuitive aptitude.
Sylar commented that he wanted to see what another power mimics brain looked like. The same thoughts that Alex was just having. What was happening to the child? Was he becoming evil after being in the presence of such a sick twisted man? Sylars emotions flowing into Alex as he read them trying to figure the man out and now the thoughts were similar as well. If this continued Alex could turn from the child of love to the child of hate. The killer noted Alex's ability to alter time in a unique way. Alex smirked as he trained hard to get used to that ability. Alex had never preformed it long distance before. Well not since Matt had wiped his memories in there little sparring match.
Sylar flung the boy against the wall. Alex tried to escape but he was caught under Sylars control. Alex grew frightened and his empathic mimicry began to activate more rapidly then before. He quickly gained Sylar's power of Intuitive Aptitude. Alex didn't feel any different however but he Begin to wounder about things he didn't before. He had no control over this ability or knew how to use it yet. Alex tapped into his other powers he had absorbed. He used Libby's ability to control the weather and sent a large tornado to destroy parts of the school were Alex and Sylar was. The rubble fell down and scattered about. Alex managed to get free as Sylars view and concentration would be blocked. Alex know knew why he felt the way he did a few moments ago. The boy was feeling the emotions of Sylar and misreading them as his own because he to was feeling angry at the time. Other then that Alex was subconsciously reading Sylars mind and taking in his thoughts as his own. Alex brushed the idea off. He was back to his old self with no evil intent.
The strange urge to befriend the man and turn him good feel upon the child. Alex hid himself in the rubble of the fallen ceiling. He soon reviled himself to the killer. "My names Alex. I am a special like you but I don't want us to fight. Theres no reason for you to have to kill anyone. I here that you want abilities. How about we make a deal. You pick the powers you want and I'll absorb them. Then you will only have to kill me in order to obtain the powers. I can heal so I wont die. But you have to promise me that you wont kill anyone else. Deal?" Alex tried to reason with the man in hopes his lust for power would be satisfied with obtaining them without killing anyone,
(ooc: I modified my origonal post due to the fact that you and matt both said it was a GM move and I took in your consideration to explain it to me. Hope this works out. The last thing I want to do is god mod lol)

Sylar extended his fingers, smirking at the child as he prepared to cut into the child's skull and gain his ability, however he halted himself as he became distracted by the noises outside the school. The weather had suddenly flared up and soon huge gusts of wind began to form into a truly powerful danger: A tornado. The child had used one of his absorbed powers to manipulate the weather, causing a new danger to not only Sylar, but to the whole school. Sylar's super hearing kicked on as he could hear all the students suddenly go quiet in the lunch room before screaming and running in the opposite direction. "Hmmmm... not a bad distraction. I think that will explain why this man was running away." Sylar flicked his wrist and the man went flying out the window, freed of Sylar's grip. He then turned his attentions back towards Alex.
He hadn't expected how quickly the tornado was going to gain strength and, soon enough, Sylar's focus was broken on the kid as he felt his feet suddenly swoop under him and pull him towards the window. As his back slid against the hard cement his back became shredded with cuts similar to road rash, however as his feet met with the wall he extended his arms and rose himself to his feet using his telekinesis. The cuts were visibly healing at such a rate of speed that it could only be described as super human; Within seconds, Sylar hadn't even a scratch on him. Maintaining control over his footing with his ability Sylar turned back around towards Alex as the clouds quickly dissipated. "Inexperience in such an ability makes it far less useful. You need to understand it, how each piece of the ability goes together to form a perfect unison of power and precision... too bad you're so young, you may have had some potential."
Deal?"
Sylar looked at Alex. Was he serious? That would only ruin it for Sylar, after all he wasn't one to share and all this kid was to him was future competition. Sylar decided to play along for the moment, giving a slight smirk to the kid. He knew that Alex could alter time, albeit in certain fields, and that meant without knocking him out first Sylar had no chance to take his ability, at least not without him using his power to reverse time and heal the wound that would allow Sylar a level of understanding to essentially master it at a superhuman rate. He merely crossed his arms and looked at Alex. "Alright... how about you let me see what's in that little brain of yours right now as sort of a gift. I get what I want and you get what you want..." Sylar hid his emotions well and was quite talented at pretending to be other people; If this kid had any chance to read his emotions further he would require skin-to-skin contact with some sort of empathic sense. What were the chances he'd be capable of either?

Alex's distraction provided a little excuse for Sylar to free the man with the aquatic abilities. Alex had absorbed the ability of this man without really knowing what it was. He just felt himself grow stranger as he healed the guys head by reversing time before. Alex was happy Sylar didn't think to pay any mind that the man would spill the beans sort of on this whole event. He smiled as he saw the man still alive running with his life. "Sometimes they need to fear in order to appreciate life more." Alex offered few words while he noticed Sylar's focus shifted back on him. Alex locked eyes with him.
It wasn't Alex's intention to harm the guy with the tornado. He didn't even think about the kids outside. Alex always seemed to not be concerned with the little things. In his future they fought in large open wast lands so fighting in small areas like this was a challenge. Alex quickly looked at the man healing himself. "You have that power to?" Alex asked him. "You can never die just like me." After seeing the healing powers Sylar had he knew that fighting would be pointless. Sylar could come back from anything that he threw at him. Although Alex did here about one spot in the persons skull that would prevent healing. He wasn't sure if it was true or just a rumor. Sylar began talking about how to find unison of power and precision. His philosophy was just like one of Alex's teachers.
"You remind me of one of my masters. His name is Kane, born into the future he was a ruthless killer and a prized fighter. Kane spoke those same words to me during are training together. But Hes trying to kill me now also. Just like you and the other three." Alex reviled to Sylar of his situation. He was being hunted for betraying the ways of his people. Alex was said to bring peace to the world yet he couldn't even make someone like Sylar like him if he tried. Alex used his mind reading ability to gain insight to Sylar's thoughts. Though Alex cold still feel some emotions emitting off of Sylar they became deluded as if being watered down.
"Potential for what exactly?" Alex wondered as Sylar spoke the words. It seems that reading peoples thoughts were the best way to deal with situations when you don't know if you could fully trust someone. Alex wasn't like Matt in this situation whom was above prying into others thoughts. Sylar's evil scheme seemed to play out in his head as what Alex would do. If he hadn't been reading his thoughts he most likely would have been killed. But Sylar seemed to go along with it despite his evil intentions. Alex smirked. "I cant just give them to you without knowing that you fully changed your ways. My masters trained me how to bluff also. If you truly did change your ways then Let the hands of fate show us your wants. If you let me look into your future to make sure the powers wont be used for evil I will share my powers with you. You just have to stair into my eyes until my vision is complete." Alex responded to the guys bluff. Even if he wasn't able to read his emotions Alex could still read his mind. Even if Alex couldn't read his mind or emotions which would be hard to block at once. But If that situation were to happen Alex would sense there being hidden for a reason which most likely wasn't a good one. That was common sense. "Can I ask you something though? Why do you kill the people in the first place? Why not obtain abilities by looking at brain scans Like Mr. Linderman?" Alex questioned Sylar. "If killings just pure fun to you go hunting for animals. But if you truly just want to be powerful then you can just study the scans of there brains. That guys a geneticist and really nice so I'm betting he could help you out." Alex continued.

"Sometimes they need to fear in order to appreciate life more."
To Sylar this seemed as though it was a 180 in personality and, as Sylar inspected the kid, he could see what he was doing through his Intuitive Aptitude. This kid could sense the emotions of others and actually absorbed part of the feelings and emotions of others in the room the kid's ability was unique in the sense that it was possibly more; Further observation and understanding would be required to gain access to it, however a basic understanding allowed him to mask his emotions better from that ability. "I understand it now. You sense the emotions of others and feed off it in some way... too bad I don't understand it all the way just yet."
"You have that power to? You can never die just like me."
He just smirked as he approached the kid, "That's not true. Unlike me, you still have an off switch right..." Sylar smacked the kid in the back of the head with an open palm. "There." A smack to the back of the head wouldn't shut him off, it was merely to show their weak point. "Or someone could just remove your head from your body. Can't regenerate without a brain, now can you?" Sylar knew that he couldn't take this kid head on; Sure Sylar couldn't die, but he was unsure entirely if his ability to regenerate would keep him young forever so he decided it was best not to get caught in Alex's little time warping bubbles.
"You remind me of one of my masters. His name is Kane, born into the future he was a ruthless killer and a prized fighter. Kane spoke those same words to me during are training together. But Hes trying to kill me now also. Just like you and the other three."
Sylar raised his eyebrow. Other three? As in three others with his ability or just three others that wanted him dead. Either way Sylar would have to guarantee that Alex would lead him to others with abilities and the only way of doing that would be for him to play along with this kid and possibly this 'Kane' individual. He just folded his arms and looked at Alex again, "If you're so concerned with this Kane individual the solution is simple. Learn to understand cause and effect, the butterfly effect. You find him while he's young and you change the future, forever. Eliminate those who you know will cause disasters in the future and you can save lives and change your own for the good." It was funny, Sylar himself sometimes wished he could go back sometime and change the past. To keep himself from ever killing his mother or even killing the young man Elle Bishop had given him in his apartment. Maybe, just maybe, the future would've been changed for the better.
"Potential for what exactly?"
Alex's question snapped Sylar back into reality from his thoughts. "Potential to change the world. Potential to become powerful. Potential for... anything really, take your pick." He laughed slightly as he began to wonder why they were both still just standing there and not exactly getting out of the area where a tornado had just struck and Sylar would be identified by the swimming instructor; A normal individual would be long gone at this point or hiding under a desk, but they just sat there and talked. He looked over Alex one more time, his ability not picking up anything more at the moment: More time and exposure to the abilities of this kid would be required to gain anything else from him.
"I cant just give them to you without knowing that you fully changed your ways. My masters trained me how to bluff also. If you truly did change your ways then Let the hands of fate show us your wants. If you let me look into your fut-"
Sylar cut him off there as he interrupted Alex, "Maybe it would be best if we did this somewhere else. This speed-o is starting to ride up and I'm not in the mood to deal with having to kill anyone else at the moment." He turned to the side and put his arm towards the door as he shape shifted into the teenager from before, "Lead the way."

When Alex had commented that people need to fear in order to appreciate life more some people like Sylar may have thought it was a 180 personality turn. However Alex had always thought that. He was all for love and peace but he knew that if these feelings were the only thing people felt they wouldn't appreciate it. Without hatred there can never be true love and vice verse. Everything flowed together in opposites. Alex was just pointing out that now that this man feared for his life he would be happy hes alive. Sylar commented to Alex explaining part of his Pathokineses ability. Alex nodded but he didn't get the full aspect of it. "Yeah sort of... Like I can see your emotions sort of like how people can read auras. When your emotions shift the colors also shift. These colors I am able to absorb and channel back to you reading what they are and changing them to a new emotion if I wanted to."
Alex foolishly explained how his ability worked, "I know you can gain powers by understanding how they work. Well I will help you understand how each of my powers work starting with this one. As long as you wont use them for evil that is." Alex told Sylar. This was Alex's solution to having Sylar absorb all of Alex's abilities at once by looking into his brain Alex will slowly reveal to the man abilities he has gained and teach him how to use them. With this method Alex can try to slowly persuade Sylar to stop his killings. "But can you tell me something?" Alex asked feeling the pit of his stomach. "When I took your power I felt an overwhelming amount of questions and the need to know more about everything. The feeling of getting to my answers without any hesitation to do what ever it took for me to understand. I changed my own emotions soon after but if I hadn't I would have felt that way even now. Do you feel like theres an overwhelming desire to know everything?" Alex asked. "How do you control that if it's eating you up inside?"
Sylar commented about Alex still having an off switch and smacked him in the back of the head. Alex rubbed it afterwords. "So the rumors are true about that off switch." Alex himself didn't even know that. This was a new power he absorbed. Alex at this point couldn't sense the emotions and could barley read Sylars mind. Sylar was growing stronger just by talking with Alex while he used his powers. Alex preferred this way better, He felt more relaxed now not knowing what was inside the mind of that man. But he did feel like he was playing into a trap. Alex hopped that his loving personality might be enough to have Sylar at least realize he was in the wrong when he kills. Alex did however made out a thought about withstanding time before completely not being able to read Sylars thoughts. Alex could attempt to keep him at his best age were his body was at its prime but he wouldn't say so without knowing what his attentions were.
After Alex had told Sylar that his masters were trying to kill him Sylar gave him some wisdom. He told him to basically tap into the butterfly effect and eliminate him in order to change the future for the good. Alex gave Sylar a warm smile. "I cant do that, I'm not like you I don't have the strength to kill anyone even the villains who will cause the future to turn into the power war." Alex told him. "The elders keep the only book of history with them. I originally traveled back in time here to form a team to help me steal the last history book from them and learn what events caused the future to turn out the way it did." Alex reviled to Sylar. "But with every decision I make it seems the people destiny chooses to help me wont. I cant do it alone as the elders have powers unlike anything in this time. No one could face them even with multiple abilities." Alex told Sylar in a defeated tone. He was just going to give up in getting the book.
"Potential to change the world, to become powerful to do anything?" Alex repeated as it sounded like a pretty cool thing for Sylar to say even though he didn't like the boy. Alex gave him a smile. "Thanks." The few words inspired Alex to keep trying. Even if that wasn't Syalrs intention. Sylar cut Alex off before he could ask him his questions and suggest a solution to Sylars killing habits. Sylar transformed back into the teenager. "Cool." Alex said amazed by that ability. Sylar told the kid to lead the way and mentioned that he was still in his speedo. Sylar signaled to the door but who uses doors when you could teliport? Alex quickly grabbed Sylars shoulder and teliported into a mens clothing store. He simultaneously paused time within the store except for himself and Sylar. "I don't know your size but that speedo looks uncomfortable. Pick out an outfit already." Alex gave him a smile and a wink. Maybe Alex was becoming an idiot for treating a killer like a friend. No the truth was Alex has a short attention span and is easily able to forgive people no matter what they do. He is like a dog loyal even when hit they still come back with love and affection. Maybe Sylar just needed people to treat him like a friend rather then the monster they made him out to be.

"Yeah sort of... Like I can see your emotions sort of like how people can read auras. When your emotions shift the colors also shift. These colors I am able to absorb and channel back to you reading what they are and changing them to a new emotion if I wanted to... I know you can gain powers by understanding how they work. Well I will help you understand how each of my powers work starting with this one. As long as you wont use them for evil that is."As Alex explained how his ability worked Sylar understood even more of the inner workings of the ability. "To see and read the emotional state is useful as it works well for an interrogation device. If someone had answers you could bring up questions and, based upon the various glows, understand how he feels about each one." As Sylar looked at himself he noticed he, like Alex, had a form of a glow however it was faded and difficult to read; He now understood how this ability worked and gained a higher state of immunity from it. He understood its use, however he lacked experience still in the field and, without trial and error, wouldn't learn how to use it effectively. "But can you tell me something? When I took your power I felt an overwhelming amount of questions and the need to know more about everything. The feeling of getting to my answers without any hesitation to do what ever it took for me to understand. I changed my own emotions soon after but if I hadn't I would have felt that way even now. Do you feel like there's an overwhelming desire to know everything?"Sylar smirked as the kid spoke about absorbing his abilities; The primary problem with doing so was that he probably had no idea just how many he had or how to access them yet. He merely looked at Alex, "It's called the hunger, a side-effect of my ability. Basically it's what made me into the hunter of all the little lollipop kids in Munchkin land, including yourself." Sylar was making a reference to Wizard of Oz, referring to specials as the lollipop kids. "It's easy to not feel overwhelmed - simply don't go any further. Once you learn to access it then you'll have to deal with the consequences of doing so. I myself have learned to deal with suppressing the desire to know everything, but it took me awhile to learn to control it." Sylar looked over at the blood still on the wall and the wet floor from when he sliced open the swimming instructors head, "Don't want to wind up like me do you?" The true primary reason that Sylar didn't want to allow Alex access to his ability just yet is that if he learned to use it then it would just be more competition for him later as his ability allowed him to master and surpass others who possessed the taken abilities. Sylar knew, though, subconsciously he didn't want to make this kid follow the path he had been forced down from inheriting his father's ability and becoming a watchmaker which gave him the ability to access Intuitive Aptitude to begin with. "I cant do that, I'm not like you I don't have the strength to kill anyone even the villains who will cause the future to turn into the power war. The elders keep the only book of history with them. I originally traveled back in time here to form a team to help me steal the last history book from them and learn what events caused the future to turn out the way it did. But with every decision I make it seems the people destiny chooses to help me wont. I cant do it alone as the elders have powers unlike anything in this time. No one could face them even with multiple abilities."Sylar smirked as the kid said the word 'no one'. Sylar could probably take on this kid and continue the little bout they had between each other and, quite easily, come out on top. But what was the point? To gain the little amount of abilities he had absorbed? No, Alex would be useful even more as he got older, more powerful abilities. Hell he may even become a sort of son to Sylar if they managed to stick around together long enough; Sylar couldn't see that happening as the people he has let close to him either hated his guts now or he had caused their deaths. Either way he would have to stick around and make sure this kid didn't learn to absorb his ability and kill someone he was close to like Sylar did. "I don't know your size but that speed-o looks uncomfortable. Pick out an outfit already."The kid had seemed amazed by Sylar's ability to shape shift, an ability he took without slicing open the man's skull in order to keep it from looking like he did it. Sure Sylar had originally intended to leave the school disguised as the teenager right out the front door but he was surprised as the kid touched his shoulder and they were nigh-immediately inside of a clothing store and the people around them were motionless, like living statues. Sylar walked around the people in the store, poking them with his finger. "So this is what it's like to be almost completely stopped in time." Sylar looked at Alex and smirked, "Time is unable to completely stop and, to an untrained eye, it would appear as though you have completely... but if time was completely stopped this fly wouldn't be moving still." Sylar pointed to it in the air, it's wings moving at such a slow speed that it only seemed to move the wings only slightly every few seconds. Sylar just smirked as he walked through the store now, looking through all the racks of clothing before he found one he liked. He had been lucky it wasn't like Baby Gap or something, but a nice clothing store with top of the line designs. Sylar had spotted the clothes he wanted on a manikin and, as he picked up the little statue he waved his hand in front of him causing the dressing room to open. As he emerged his clothing was changed to a nice suit and the manikin was now in the speed-o. Sylar then set the manikin back to it's position, "I think they're going to get all sorts of questions about that outfit.... and I think it's time for us to go now." {Ending post for this thread?}
