I'll get to this as soon as I can Kate - might be over the weekend now though - because I've been fixing up the site, I've not done any posts and they've sort of crept up on me. But I wanted to ask - sometimes I tend to use pictures from photoshoots now because it's easier to work the backgrounds - if I can't get those pictures to work - do you trust me to find some myself? Also, I'm not sure if I'll be able to use the wheelchair image or not sadly, just depends how I can blend it into the background colour or not. But I'll try, that's all I can say.

Sure, the pictures are just ones that I liked. If they don't work that's fine. And don't worry about getting it done right away, I completely understand.

That's a really awesome banner. Thanks! I also just decided to see if I could figure out how to do graphics, so I downloaded Gimp and I'm wading through trying to figure out how to use it. So I also made this banner, I might use this one even though the one you made is super awesome.

That's a cool banner Kate for only having gimp - it doesn't have the features that paintshop has, which I use! So well done on that, and I still insist that it's probably better than anything I would have done, as I always tend to go for same colour background photos from photo shoots to make banner backgrounds easier.
You just need to get a mini profile background picture now - for him and Sky - when I make those, I make them 500 pixels in height and 150 pixels in width.

Thanks - I have one of those nifty tablet pen things so I could get the outlines of the pictures pretty close. It took me like six hours to make it though...I should have been doing homework but it was addicting and I couldn't stop working on it!

Wow - 6 hours, really??!! That's mega long - but then my banners used to take me about 2 hours and now I can knock one up in about half an hour if I'm not distracted. The more you do and the more you get used to the programme, the better and quicker you will get with effects.
And that's cool you have one of those tablet pen things, that's what Matt has I believe which is why he can draw on the computer so good.

Well, maybe not quite six hours. It was taking me a while to figure out how to use everything, what with layers and tools and everything, so I think it will probably go a little quicker next time, now that I know more or less how to use Gimp.
