17th December 2009 It was getting onto two and a half months now since she had found out who her father's killer was. If it hadn't been for Xavier, she would have never found the truth, and would still be out there killing people to find the truth. Not that it wasn't fun, but sometimes getting her facts straight first was a good option. And no, she wasn't getting all soft on the humans, far from it. She knew that she needed a plan, and somehow Xavier helped her with it, and look what happend: she found her father's killer, and found a possible mate in Xavier. Looks like villains could find a perfect mate after all. Leigh was now just wanderinig around Los Angeles, seeing if there was anything exciting to do. She had no idea where Xavier was, and had tried to contact him, but no luck, so she had to entertain herself somehow. Leigh soon went passed the museum, and decided to head inside to see what mischief she could cause. As she wandered inside, she noticed that there were quite a few kids around, and wondered if it was time to do her trick to mysteriously taking a kid, mess around with them, then hand them back at the end of the day. Sounded like a plan to her.

It was all going to hell right now. Matt was reeling from the impact of a couple of events in his life that had changed him in ways one would see as being life-shattering. First of all, his date with Emilie had gone horribly wrong with her being captured by the mafia. He had been trying to find her with his clairvoyance, as well as telepathy, but alas nothing. It was most likely she was being held captive by specials. Then his encounter with Sylar made him realize that he wasn't as powerful as he had originally thought, with Sylar able to counter anything that was thrown at him.
Matt was on the verge of going ballistic at the moment, so he decided to have some time off. He had a couple of weeks of holiday pay, but Matt decided to take just a couple of days off, just so he could clear his head. He'd decided to go to L.A. and with a quick teleport, arrived within seconds. He'd teleported to the front of a museum, not really knowing where he'd end up, as he had never been to L.A. before.
May as well have a bit of a history lesson, while I'm here... Matt thought to himself as he walked into the musuem, having a look around at the main foyer. A field trip from a local school. Kids running around everywhere. "Oh great..." Matt mumbled to himself as he walked to the main desk, paying for a ticket. He was unaware of the villainess that lurked nearby.

Leigh casually bought a ticket, still eyeing off the group of children, who were heading off towards the Egyptian section. She kept her distance, looking at the various images and stands there were, showing off the different sections of history. Leigh finally made her way into the Egyptian section, and wandered nearby, waiting for her opportunity to strike. She grabbed a brochure from the stand in the area, and pretended to look through it, and looking at the various set ups for the exhibit.
Soon enough the children broke up around the room, and one child in particular was coming towards her, where she was looking at how the tombs were set up when the people were mumified and buried. There was an employee hallway right near where shew as standing, and it would be the perfect escape with the boy for a couple of hours at least. The child then stood only a few centimetres away, staring at the exhibit, when Leigh looked around to see if anyone was near by or looking, and then she placed her hand over the child's mouth, and quickly moved into the hallway.
Leigh soon spotted a door, and pushed it open. It was empty, and it was a supply area, which was even more perfect. I will have some props to use, along with my ability then, Leigh thought, as she grabbed some tape, and placed it over the boy's mouth.

Matt rubbed his temples as the sound of the children laughing, screaming, and talking, was making his head hurt. "Damn kids..." He mumbled to himself with an annoyed tone as he walked into the Egyptian exhibit, having a look at the some of the artifacts from the tombs of Cairo. He was drawn to the jars that had once held the vital organs of the pharaohes. Matt raised a brow as he looked closer at one, the symbols on it getting his interest. Images used as words... Something he could never understand.
However as he was looking at the exhibit, he could hear a child screaming. He whipped his head up and looked around. There was no panic. No one looking in a certain direction... The screams were telepathic... Which meant there was a kid being kidnapped! For fuck's sake... I can never have some time to myself, can I... All I ask is for a week off, and I'm beating up wife beaters and saving kids... Matt thought to himself as he closed his eyes and focused on the screams, using his telepathy to locate the source.
He opened his eyes as he found the source of it. A supply room. With a woman. That fact had shocked him somewhat. A woman kidnapping a kid? That was something people never thought of. He walked over casually, as though nothing was wrong, towards the hallway where the supply room was. He walked to the door and looking around to make sure no one was watching, telekinetically blasted the door open, the handles flying off. "Let him go... Or else you're gonna end up as the dead guy on show down the hall..." Matt said to the woman inside, glaring at her.
