January 2, 2010 It had been quite awhile since his first step from the base evolutionary pathway and into the advanced level of superhuman; It was even so much as to say he felt more like a god then a man by the mere raw power of his ability. His ability would make even the strongest of his kind envious of his power and even more so of any other species that roamed the earth. He could make anyone into anything they wanted, cure their diseases, grant them abilities... anything. Despite all his power he was still limited to the flaws that all humanity had: lust, envy, greed, gluttony, pride, wrath, and sloth. To most they were referred to as the seven deadly sins, but to some they were viewed as a way of life, and a few of them truly were Christof's passions. Christof was a man of both envy and lust, craving both the abilities of others and the hot, steamy flesh of women. It was this very reason that he found himself out that very night, roaming the nigh-empty streets after the new years. He had plenty of women the night before and now he really just wanted to walk around the town for a little bit and get a little peace and quiet... after all doesn't everyone need some occasionally? Had it been just like any other night Christof would've found himself walking around aimlessly without any real goal and eventually settle for picking up some woman in a bar before returning home - But this wasn't any other night. This night was special. Christof had become aware of how special this night was the very moment he came within range as if a enemy fighter jet had just reached his radar; Christof was sensing an ability. Without being within close range he had no idea what the ability was and, without question, charged straight forward. He hadn't, however, been thinking about how close it was and found himself tripping over some young woman after only coming around the corner at the block, slamming into the ground and making him slightly dazed. He lied there for the moment in slight pain as his ability healed his cuts...

It was the day after New Year’s Day, a new year and a new life for everyone alive on the planet who had just celebrated the New Year. A decade since the new millennium began. People come and shake your hand and wish you a happy new year and you automatically say it back because you know that’s what you’re supposed to do. How many people actually have a happy new year? Not many and Jasmine Cole would be one of them. Every year was the same as the year before. For eight years running Jasmine has lived in an abandoned house and begs on the streets or pickpockets from people to get money in order to survive. She doesn’t like doing what she has to do but if she doesn’t do it then Jasmine simply wouldn’t be able to survive.
Jazz had been out to a local shop getting some groceries in and on the way home to her abandoned house she began to shake as a vision came over her. Now for someone who actually thinks they are borderline schizophrenic this wasn’t a good thing to happen as she had been having what she liked to think ‘good days’. In other words she hadn’t had any audible visions for a while. There was no sound with this vision however, it was just a vision itself, but as usual with most of Jazz’s visions it wasn’t overly clear. Jazz still to this day has no idea that she has an ability, every time she has a vision or hears ‘voices’ she assumes it’s to do with being ‘borderline schizophrenic’. However she saw someone quickly moving and then stumbling onto the ground but as they turned to look that was when Jazz realised that she was the one the person had stumbled over.
Seconds after visualising the scene, it actually happened. Jazz hadn’t even had time to get up off the ground to stop it from happening. Jazz began to rock herself back and forth, because seeing him in front of her now she was certain this was one of ‘them’ who were coming to take her away. “No, leave me alone.” She said as she continued to rock back and forth and felt tears sting at her eyes. “Go away, I’ve done nothing wrong. Why can’t you leave me alone?” She began to back up against the wall of where she had slumped down as if she was trying desperately to get away from the figure who had stumbled over her, thinking they were coming to get her, coming to take her away. “I know you’re one of them, just leave me alone, please.” Jazz said tumbling the sentences out one after the other and repeating them over and over as she continued to rock back and forth.
