Friday, January 29th, 2010 Terry stood from her seat as the bus came to a hault. She held the pole at the edge of the bench to keep her balance as it stopped completely. She waited for a break in the line of people before butting in and exiting the bus. Terry quickly stepped to the side to avoid getting trampled. She scowled in the direction of some of the rude people but quickly turned and walked a few steps away. Last thing she needed was someone bursting into flames or stabbing themselves in the eye or something because she got a little upset.
Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a basic map of where she was. Upon seeing it she was instantly annoyed. Terry had never been in New Orleans before, she was just here for answers. Crumpling the paper she tossed it in a waste bin before turning about and heading east. She had a natural sense of direction and she intended to follow it when the maps and mannerisms of New Orleans failed.
By word of several spirits that she had either the unfortune or good fortune of seeing she heard that there were quite a number of supernatural beings that tended to gather in New Orleans, but to be more specific at a bar called Fangtasia. Now that she had made it to Lousiana she wanted to find that bar. If it was really such a center for supernaturals then maybe she could have a good chance at finding answers as to what she was there.
With this thought in mind she entered a small bar, if not to get info then at least a drink. When she had a few in her it would make her less of a beacon for spirits and ghosts of the deceased, they would stop nagging at her. As she sat down on a stool at the front of the bar she rubbed her brow. The lack of control over her power made magickal energy radiate off of her, but she didn't know that this was what made spirits so drawn to her. She sighed heavily before attempting to get the bartender's attention.

Viktor had decided to take some time out from his bar Fangtasia, it wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy being there, but sometimes he just got a bit fed up with his staff whether they were vampires or not, sometimes they just annoyed him, not as much as humans annoyed him, but annoyed him just the same. He hadn’t been in very good spirits ever since Sookie had upped left with Ben Compton, his so called best friend. Just when he had thought that he and Sookie had a connection, she abandoned him for the goody two shoes Ben. It was maybe just as well he had turned that girl Amelia; at least he had someone he could call his own now and just thinking about her made an evil smirk spread over his face. True, she wasn’t Sookie, but she had obviously made up her mind about who she wanted, it was time for Viktor to move on and he was doing that bit by bit with Amelia.
Viktor was in another bar, one that he frequented often to cause some mischief and then put the glamour on them all so they would forget what he had done. He loved doing this, it was such fun, however he didn’t do it all the time, and tonight was one of the nights that he couldn’t be bothered to cause fun in. However his curiosity was piqued when a young female walked in and right away he could sense that she wasn’t a normal human. She was like Sookie. Maybe she didn’t have an ability like Sookie had, but she was definitely different and not a normal human. It was enough to make him want to talk to this girl. Maybe if he could get her interested in him, then he would have a special human he could have fun with, maybe she could take the place of Sookie, fill that special human void which had been left cold since Sookie’s untimely departure.
He got up and leaned on the bar with his back to the barman but side glanced to the girl, “May I get you a drink? It is not very often such a pretty young thing comes into this bar.” Viktor said bringing out all his charm to the fullest extent, not wanting to give away his true colours quite yet, after all it hadn’t taken long for him to freak out Amelia when he had met her for the first time a month ago and because this one was special he especially didn’t want to freak her, at least not until he was ready to, not until he felt she wouldn’t run out on him, not that it would have mattered, she wouldn’t get far before he was standing in front of her again.
{ooc - I just decided to change the date myself, didn't think you would mind somehow.}

{ooc: yeah sorry about that, I'm horrible at keeping dates XP and I haven't responded to the PMs because I'm on a different compy and opening the inbox makes it seriously lag lol}
Terry leaned over the counter a few times to look at the bartender with a lowered brow. Was he just purposefully ignoring her or something? She leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms, deciding she'd just wait rather than waste her breath trying to get his attention. Really, she wasn't much enjoying her time here, everyone was ignoring her. She almost felt that she could give off this signal that just made people avoid her, like the plague, and it was annoying.
However her wallow in anger didn't last long. It first started as a small tingle, something letting her know that there was an undead nearby. Then, feeling a chill run over her a small voice in the back of her head seemed to whisper 'vampire'. Her eyes wandered to the side right as said vampire took a seat near her. She quickly looked forward to avoid staring at him but she didn't expect him to talk to her. Looking back as he offered a drink with a side of flattery she kicked her thoughts into gear. Terry let a smirk cross her lips as she leaned her elbows on the counter and rested her chin in her palm. "Huh, now I was about to ask you the same thing, looks like you beat me to the punch though."
No, Terry would never offer a vampire a drink, whether they knew that she knew what they were or not. Point was she knew what they were, and that was all she needed. Sighing slightly she turned in her stool and waved her hand in the air slightly. "But that fool bartender has been completely ignoring this side of the bar ever since I sat down." Terry stated before turning back to him with a little gleam in her eye.
"Don't think you could get his attention, could you?" Terry always had an alternative motive, whether she knew what she was doing when she started or thought of it as she went. What she wouldn't give to have one of those random bursts of whatever it was that made her a freak and be able to control it enough to make the bartender walk over and give her a free drink for his stupidity.

{ooc - its okay - but hope you can check soon on Castor's, so I know what to do about making you a skin for Cerxii}
As Viktor stood with his back to the barman leaning against the bar he kept side glancing to the girl who was sitting next to him and then he had asked if he could get her a drink adding in a bit of his charm albeit fake on this occasion and called her a pretty young thing. He couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow when the girl replied saying she was just about to ask him the same thing but he had beaten her to it. “Well you know you really should be careful of your use of words around someone like me, they could take that offer a little too literally.” Viktor said in a slightly sarcastic voice, if she hadn’t been a special human he would have taken her up on her offer and she wouldn’t have been able to say anything further by this point.
The girl soon turned and began waving her hand in frantic obviously pissed off way because the barman had apparently been ignoring her at the bar. Viktor couldn’t help but to play with her a little and with a slightly evil smirk on his face he said, “Maybe your beauty has frozen him to the spot and as much as he tries to come toward you he is finding that his feet are firmly on the ground and will not move?” Well he wasn’t lying to the extent of talking of the girl’s beauty because the girl did hold a natural beautiful look which Viktor might have found himself falling for if he hadn’t already turned Amelia who was now his soul mate. It was funny how things worked out, Sookie should have been his, but now he had Amelia and he had to deal with that. So long as she did everything he asked of her then they would get along just fine.
The girl then asked him if he could get the barman’s attention. He stood up straight then and locked eyes with the girl and then sighed, “Leave it to me.” He then walked over to where the barman was and looked into his eyes holding the gaze. “The girl over there she would like a drink and you are going to go and serve her now.” Viktor said and then broke the trance as he watched the barman approach the girl. “What can I get ya?” The barman asked the girl and Viktor made his way back over to where the girl was sitting. He once more stood with his back to the bar, “Well I think that worked well, how about you?” As he stood looking at the girl he saw the vein in her neck pulsating and it was making him feel hungry. He snapped his fingers to get the attention of the barman, “A bottle of Tru Blood please, thank you.” He asked and handed over the money as he took a sip and then shuddered slightly.
He hated drinking the synthetic stuff, but when you were hungry it was better than nothing, especially when you didn’t want to cause a scene, at least, he didn’t want to cause one right at this moment. “So, I just helped you to get served, I think the least you could do is give me your name?” He said not even thinking about offering his own name, oh no, there was plenty of time for that yet.

Cerxii watched as the tall blonde made his way over to the barman. As he locked eyes and spoke to him she felt a tiny tingle over her body. She knew he was a vampire, and by the way the barman simply obeyed and walked over to her she was pretty sure he just glamoured him. Terry made it a habit to know about all things supernatural, but she somehow never could figure out just what she was. Smiling lightly as the bartender approached she gave her order. "Oh, I'll just have your coldest bottle of Smirnoff." Her family weren't much drinkers, but her father did enjoy beer and everytime Terry would drink Smirnoff he playfully called it 'bitch beer'. She turned her attention to Viktor with a crooked smirk on her face. "Oh it worked very well indeed. If I didn't know any better I'd assume you threatened him." She responded with a tiny chuckle. As her drink was brought to her he ordered a Tru Blood and she took a swallow of her's as he did his. Laughing slightly she swallowed her drink before she could laugh and spit it out. "Well by the look on your face I'm guessing that synthetic blood isn't exactly delicious." She finished off with a small chuckle, wiping the edges of her lip with her sleeve. Turning in her seat to face him she held out her hand, tilting her head to the side as she introduced herself. "I'm Cerxii, but I go by Terry. And you are...?" Once might seem astonished that she didn't even waver when he ordered the Tru Blood, which would usually be seen as the unveiling of being a vampire. But she knew that they existed and knew he was one of them so there was no need to get cold feet - No pun intended.

Viktorwas trying to figure out what it was with this girl that made her different to normal humans whom he hated with a passion. She was like Sookie and yet she was different, but he wasn’t sure how different. He would have to sniff around her a few times to get a better idea of what she might be. The girl had asked for a bottle of Smirnoff and as the barman got her drink for her Viktor had said that he thought it had worked well. He had to smirk one of his creepy smiles as she agreed and said if she hadn’t known any better she would assume he had threatened him. With the same creepy smirk on his face he couldn’t help but say, “How do you know that I did not threaten him?” Not that he had, but Viktor could have so easily threatened the barman, he just found that glamouring was a far easier way to get what you wanted from someone.
Viktor had then asked for a bottle of Tru Blood without thinking that the girl would now know what he was, not that it mattered, he would have had his fun with her whether she knew or not. He leaned in closer to her and then inhaled deeply, taking in her scent, yes it was definitely not a normal human, but she was no vampire or werewolf either, but he wasn’t even sure if she was like Sookie, it was something else, something different from Sookie, it was something supernatural. Now Viktor just had to try and find out what supernatural being she was. After he had taken a mouthful of the Tru Blood and soon shuddered at the taste of it he watched from the side of his eye where he was standing as the girl laughed. He glared at her slightly, but changed it to more of an expressionless stare when she spoke.
He nodded his head at her slightly, “You are right, it is not the best tasting liquid I have ever had to endure. However, in a place like this it is often what I have to put up with, unless of course you are offering yourself to me?” Viktor asked as he raised his eyebrows looking at her and running his tongue over his fangs which had began to protrude just at the mere idea of drinking from her. Fresh, human blood, you could never beat it, but no, he couldn’t be bothered with glamouring everyone in the bar after the attack. No, if he was going to do that, he would take her outside where a scene would be less noticeable.
Viktor had then asked for her name after getting the barman to serve her saying he felt it was the least she could do, he noticed that she held her hand out as she introduced herself. Viktor took the offered hand and brought it up to his lips kissing the back of it, and then continued to hold onto it, “It is a pleasure to meet you then Cerxii who goes by Terry.” She had finished her introduction by asking him who he was. Usually he wouldn’t give out his name so quickly or easily but he was still intrigued by the fact that this girl was definitely different. “My name is Viktor and you should feel very honoured that I have given you my name so soon.” He took another sip of the vile synthetic blood and shuddered once more, “So, what brings such a pretty young thing like you into a place like this?” Viktor asked trying to sound her out and see if he could get any sort of information on what she was from what she would tell him.

As the vampire responded to her remark about the Tru Blood, questioning if she were offering herself to him, she gave a short laugh and waved a finger in the direction of his fangs hoping to hide the small bit of intimidation that had raised in her. "Heh, not unless you want to crumble to dust, vampy." She remarked sarcastically before taking another swig over her Smirnoff. It was then the introductions took place, and her eyes flashed as he kissed the back of her hand. Man if only Duncan were here, all kinds of ghostly anger would be being directed at the charming vampire right now. He always got angry whenever someone flirted with Terry - it was kind of nice to have someone so protective of her, even if he was already dead.
Terry shifted in her seat to better face Viktor, her one hand remaining on her drink and the other in the hands of the vampire. She raised her brows as he stated she should be honored that she got his name oh-so-easily. A smirk came across her face as she looked up at him through her lashes. "Oh-ho really, and why is that? Not much of a talker?" The young woman asked with just the smallest hint of sarcasm in her voice. He then asked what she was doing around here and it was at that question that she finally looked downward. Could she really just up and tell someone that she was trying to figure out what she was, because what she was so far was just a freak, even if it was a vampire being told. Terry's eyes wandered the bar as if trying to search for a decent answer.
Finally she just sighed and rubbed her brow before leaning her elbow on the counter, not yet feeling any effect from the half bottlf of 'bitch beer' she had taken in already. "I'm just looking for a certain establishment; Fangtasia, heard of it by chance?" The fact that he was a vampire in New Orleans at least made her hope he had been to Fangtasia and knew of it's location - and if he did he knew of it on good terms and wouldn't be insulted by her asking. Insulting a vampire sounded like one adventure even Terry would avoid.

When Viktor had asked the girl if she was offering herself to him and ran his tongue over his fangs which had come out at the mere thought of feeding on fresh blood he soon saw her wave her finger in the direction of his fangs and then spoke saying not unless he wanted to crumble to dust and called him vampy. Viktor glared at her slightly and then gave a creepy smile and as quick as anything he slammed the bottle down onto the bar and had one of his arms around her neck and the other holding both her hands behind her back. He then leaned in very close to her ear and neck and whispered into her ear, “I would like to see you give it a try.” Viktor was quite an old vampire, not as old as some granted, but he had been around long enough to be a lot more powerful than many of the later vampires. However, he was just playing around with the girl because he would never harm a special human, because they were different and that made them like him to a degree.
Being that close to her though he was able to take another good sniff and soon he had an idea what she was. She was definitely supernatural, she wasn’t a special human per say, not like Sookie had been, but she was different. He could sense that she was from the wiccan tribe. He let go of her hands and returned to where he was picking up his bottle and drinking from it again. “Sorry about that, you could say it is the animal instinct within me.” Soon after introductions were made and Viktor used his vampire charm as he had kissed the back of her hand. He didn’t do this move to every single female he spoke to, no, most of them he just went right for their jugular, but people like Cerxii, they were different. They intrigued him, and Cerxii was no different. When Viktor had said she should be honoured he had given his name so soon she asked him if he wasn’t much of a talker.
He looked at her with a smile, “On the contrary, I am just very cautious as to whom I give my name to, that is all.” He had heard the sarcasm in her voice which he actually liked, he liked sarcasm as he used it often himself on people. In fact he could tell already she would make a formidable vampire, but no, he had sired recently, he could not sire another, there would be confliction of lust and desires between both vampires and Viktor, and he couldn’t be bothered with the hassle it would bring. He had then asked what brought her to New Orleans and wondered if she would actually dare to tell him after his earlier stunt with her, but really if he was going to attack her, he’d have done it long ago by now, so she was safe, besides he never killed humans who intrigued him, play around with them a little maybe, but kill them? No.
When he heard her sigh and then rub her brow he began to wonder if he should have bothered asking, was he about to find out something he really didn’t want to hear. But he stood with his back to the bar counter and decided to listen to what she had to say anyway. His attention was piqued to say the least at the mention of his own bar. He stood up straight and looked right at her, why was she asking about his place? Was she about to tell him he was to close his bar, or was she sent there to summon him from some greater vampire than he? He stood over her, his great height towering above her from her seated position, “Why do you ask?” He said, not wanting to give anything away until he knew more, the cautiousness coming out in him again.

Terry was extremely caught of guard as he suddenly had one arm holding her hands back and the other keeping her in place around her neck. She had heard vampires were very fast, but that was just too fast! She froze in her seat as he said he would like to see her try. Try what? Make him crumble into dust? Oh man he took that the wrong way! If Terry had made a man walk to his death before she could only guess about what would happen if a vampire tried to drink her blood. For all she knew she could, like, absorb sunlight like a solar panel or something and her blood would be some kind of deadly, flaming cocktail to a vampire. As soon as he had her he let go, saying it was somewhat of an animal instinct. She was still a bit to stunned to reply that instant, but resumed normal as the introductions finished off.
He stated that he was very cautious about giving his name to others, and that was something Terry could make sense of. She nodded to that and picked up her drink. "Ah I see, that I understand completely." It was then Terry told him she was looking for Fangtasia, and she would be blind if she didn't see the way he straightened up. She sat silent for a moment before he loomed over her. She drank for her Smirnoff as if she didn't notice and looked up with her eyes as he asked why. Terry held her index finger up, indicating for him to wait a moment as she downed the rest of her Smirnoff. As she polished off the last drop she half slammed the bottle down and forced the rest of the drink down her throat.
Terry waved at the bartender to get her another as she leaned her elbow on the counter and rested her head in her palm, looking up at Viktor. "I just heard it's quite a hot spot for supernatural beings and stuff. I figured I might fit in and find out a bit more about what kind of beings are out there." The young woman figured he was a vampire, so there was clearly no harm in letting him know that she wasn't a normal human. Well, none that she knew of anyways. But hey, she was always a bit reckless in her own way.

{ooc - I actually sent a message to Castor about this - but I LOVE your new banner for Cerxii}
When Viktor had flew at the girl saying he would like to see her try when it came to turning him into dust, he could feel and sense the fear within her. He loved to feel that, it gave him a sense of importance for some reason, like he truly had the upper hand over her. Well he did, didn’t he? One little bite in the neck and he could have her drained dry within seconds. But he had chosen to let her go and then introductions had been made. So now he had a name for her and one which he felt suited her so it made him wonder why she liked to call herself Terry, he could only imagine that she had a middle name and it was Teresa or something.
When she had asked if he wasn’t much of a talker he had soon corrected her telling her that he was just cautious about whom he gave his name to. She picked up her drink and then said she could understand that. “I gather you do not give out your name so quickly then and yet you gave your name to me rather freely.” Viktor replied wondering if there was a reason as to why she had given her name so freely despite the fact he had said her giving her name was the least she could do for getting the barman to serve her. She didn’t have to tell him, then again, if she hadn’t, he would likely have just made her tell him in a very different way, so he was glad he hadn’t had to do that.
Terry had then asked him about his bar and his cautiousness had come into play again as he stood up straight and towered over her asking why she was asking about Fangtasia. She soon held up a finger as if to keep him at bay or something and finished the drink she had slamming the bottle down and then beckoning the waiter for another before she began to speak telling him why she had asked about his bar. The soon as she mentioned supernatural beings and how she might fit in, his earlier thoughts about her being different to Sookie were proven right. He stood back from her a bit again, giving her breathing space and perched his back against the bar counter once more with his elbows leaning it and turned to face her.
“You heard right, many supernatural beings come to Fangtasia, mostly vampires, but there have been a few other supernatural beings, including werewolves as much as they annoy me, but not as much as normal humans, and then we have wiccans, just like yourself if I am not mistaken.” Viktor replied and then because she had given him no reason to feel threatened by her asking about his bar, he decided to tell her some more about his bar. “You asked the right person about Fangtasia Terry, because I own it. You would be welcome to come around anytime you see fit.” He wasn’t sure how she would feel being surrounded by a lot of blood thirsty vampires, but Viktor owned the place and that meant that all vampires within, staff and non staff done as he said. So if he told them not to harm a hair on her head, they would abide by that rule or they would find themselves barred, or worse, dead.

Terry raised a brow at him when he said he thought maybe she didn't give her name out freely, but she gave it to him so openly. At this she chuckled lightly. "No, I can tell people my name no problem. It's just I understand because you are a vampire, and I kind of think, like....I dunno that you would be very careful about that stuff...I dunno." It was something that was hard for Terry to explain. She just kind of knew that pretty much all vampires were very cautious, some of them annoyingly so in fact, and a lot didn't give their real names or anything.
It was after this that Fangtasia came into play and the vampire became cautious once more and Terry slammed down the rest of her drink. She told him basically what her business was there and Viktor was soon to answering her about it. She was glad that at least hearing about it being full of supernaturals was true, but she turned in her seat as she opened up her new bottle of Smirnoff to look at him. He said she was a Wiccan, and that they hung out around there sometimes too. "Wait, Wiccan? Like Pagan and Wiccan? Aren't those just some kind of religions?" She questioned as she took another drink of the Smirnoff, okay well a really big drink. If she was going to find out what she was after all this time she wanted to have a little alcohol in her to at least 'soften the blow', or something like that.
He went on to tell her that he was the owner of the bar, and that she could come by any time. Did this mean she was going to be chums with a vampire? Well, she was already best pals with a ghost and her human friends were pretty far fetched too, so being somewhat in acquaintance with a vampire would be pretty wicked. Terry bit the insides of her cheeks before grabbing the new bottle off the table and finishing off most of it finally. Standing up she put her black jacket back on over her blue blouse and waved her hand at him. "Okey dokey then! C'mon, let's go, dude." She said brushing her hair out of her face. Hey, he just said whenever, and in Terry's current state and from the curiosity that had surfaced about possibly being Wiccan she was gunning to head for the bar now. She had always been a spontaneous, random person.

When Viktor had questioned Terry about the fact she could understand him being wary about giving out his name he figured it was because she was the same, but she soon told him that she would give her name out without a problem, just that she somehow understood why he hadn’t because he was a vampire. There was doubt in her voice though as if she wasn’t really sure what she was saying or why she was saying it. “Well yes, we do have to be very careful for the simple reason that you never know if you are introducing yourself to someone who knows of a vampire hunter.” He replied, although with Viktor being a rather old vampire he had plenty of years of strength and speed behind him. Nobody would catch him easy enough and that was the way he liked it.
After talk of his bar Fangtasia was mentioned he had told Terry of the supernatural beings which went to the bar and pointed out about wiccans going, which she was herself if he wasn’t mistaken. It would seem that Terry wasn’t aware she was Wiccan or she thought that Wiccan and Pagan were religions. Viktor shook his head slowly, “No Terry, they are more than just religion. They are the act of magic, some very powerful, witch or wizard for an easier word to understand, but Wiccan is the proper cult name.” Viktor explained and hoped that he was making sense to Terry. “I was able to tell from your scent that you are a Wiccan, or in other words, you are a witch Terry, quite a powerful one from what I can tell.” Viktor added.
After Viktor told Terry that she had asked the right person about Fangtasia because he owned it, he had to chuckle and sigh a little at her response about wanting to go there and then. When he had said she was welcome anytime he hadn’t expected for her to ask if they could go right away. He put his hand on her shoulder as if to stop her from making any sort of quick movement to head out of the bar they were currently in. “Terry, you cannot just walk into my bar without being properly prepared. There will be many vampires in the bar, some of them may not be so pleased to see a human walk into the bar, whether they are special or not. Are you sure you are ready to face what you may find in there?” He asked, although he figured that it would be fine, because as said before, he would only have to say one thing and they would not touch her.
He then took her hand in his own and using his excessive vampire speed virtually flew them to his bar. He came to a sudden stop outside, and looked at her with seriousness, “I just want to make sure before I take you in here, that you really want to go in?” He asked feeling as if for the first time he was showing a little compassion to a human, inside he shuddered at the thought because it really wasn’t him, but there was something special about this one, and for some reason he didn’t want her getting scared or hurt for that matter.
