It's funny how you can go about life, knowing exactly who you are and where you belong, and then, in an instant, everything can change...
The world as we know it has gone through a moment like this. It has uprooted the magical community and left them dangling. For years, this community has worked so hard to stay hidden, but it has no choice but to surface now as the lives of everyday people are thrown into turmoil.
Something has happened. No one is sure what, or who caused it, or if it was even just a random freak accident like a hurricane would be, but most who are normal, everyday humans have suddenly gotten a rude awakening to latent genes in their DNA. Sprites, elves, vampires, mere humans with magical talent and more have appeared over night and this disaster, or miracle, has radiated out from the one and only Washington, D.C.
What will our well-loved team at NCIS do when they find that their autopsy gremlin is actually a gremlin shapeshifter, stuck in human form? Or when suddenly their boss, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, can project thoughts into their minds? Everyone is experiencing changes. The only question now is how they will handle it.
