20th November, 2008
As well as the young Sam Norton, it turned out there were a few other people interested in positions within the school. Even though Niki knew two of them, and that they would be more than capable of the job at hand, she still felt she had to give them a brief interview with an explanation of the job at hand.
The school was only going to open from Monday until Wednesday, with two days of power classes and one day of normal classes. It meant the kids were still getting taught in the way of their power, the way to fight, and still be taught in normal lessons, but allowing them a little more freedom than a normal school.
Now she sat back and smiled as the young blonde walked into the room.
"Please take a seat and thank you for coming" Niki said smiling.

Amanda had to hurry to her interview. She almost overslept and she couldn't afford to miss this. She really needed the job and this was the perfect one. Amanda adored music and kids. Teaching music to kids was the perfect job. Why hadn't she thought about doing this before? Oh yeah she dropped out of school. Well she'd just leave that little detail out.
Dressed in a fancy red blouse and jeans, Amanda walked into the office of Niki Sanders. The older blond looked up and Amanda returned the smile. "Hi. Thanks for seeing me Miss Sanders." Amanda greeted as she took a seat. "Alright. So. Interview. Woo!" Ok maybe woo took it a little too far.

So, another interview was about to begin Niki thought, at least this wasn't a member of the Petrelli family or associated withe the Company in any way. Not that Niki was bothered about Gabriel and The Haitian working at the school, but it was pretty obvious if they wanted to work at the school they would. It felt good to Niki to actually interview people who weren't connected in any way at all.
The young woman was very polite, Niki like that. "Please, just call me Niki" she said smiling warmly and got up from her desk and extended her hand. "Thank you for coming Amanda" Niki said, and then when the girl excitedly said woo, Niki couldn't help but laugh, Niki felt she liked this young girl already.
"So what do you think you can bring to the school and the students?" Niki asked, and sat back in her seat waiting on the girl to respond.

"Well," Amanda began as she tried to come up with what she could bring. She wasn't used to being interviewed. In fact, the last time she was interviewed was when she was starting school. Oh the irony of it all. "I can teach kids music. I love music and I can teach kids the importants of it." she started out. "The fine arts are dying now a days and I wanna make sure that doesn't happen any time soon."
Amanda smiled confidently in her answer. She was going to get this. She was confident in herself of that. "I also studied theater in school. So maybe we could put on a musical or something. Omg, I just love Bye Bye Birdie." Whoops, Amanda gringed slightly after she realized she had just said omg. Well, you can't stop a girl from being herself now could you?

Niki sat and listened carefully to the girl as she spoke about what she could bring to the school. Nodding her head in several places where she felt it was necessary. When she was certain the girl had stopped speaking, she smiled and leaned forward.
"I think you're right" Niki said with a smile. "In fact I know you're right, I think music is very important" she continued, as she smiled at Amanda again.
Niki stifled a laugh when the girl was a bit over enthusiastic about putting on a musical. But decided not to say anything about it, after, hadn't Niki herself been giggling like a school girl just the other day with Brennan?
"I think that might be rather a good idea, but I was thinking something along the lines of Hairspray or Chicago myself, Wicked even?" Niki said grinning. She liked this girl. Niki was certain she'd bring good aspects to the school.

"Ooh, I loved the recent Hairspray in theaters. Zac Efron was so cute." She said. Amanda was starting to enjoy the interview more than she originally intended. "Music is import for students. They need to learn more than just rap, or the Soeja Boy. Not that it's not a bad song, but I mean they need to learn the different varieties. Like pop, classical, hip hop, you name it." Amanda said.
(ooc: sorry it's short)

[ooc: that's fine - was planning keeping the interviews short anyway LOL]
"I have to agree with you" Niki said laughing when Amanda said Zac Efron was cute in the Hairspray musical. Niki listened again very carefully as Amanda then went on to say how important music was, all different kinds. Niki really did believe what Amanda was saying was very true.
"I totally agree with you Amanda" Niki said smiling. "So, when can you start?" Niki asked, she wasn't going to interview heaps of different people for the same subject, if someone came in with an interest in one particular subject and Niki liked them, she was giving them the job, it was as simple as that.
