Friday, 19th March, 2010 It was four in the afternoon on a Friday and Ryan was finished work for the day, he loved the fact that he could give himself an early mark on a Friday when he had his trusted assistants to finish and lock up for the night. He also didn’t work on a Saturday because his assistants took it in turn to work the Saturdays and he only went in if they had a heavy load or they needed his expertise, as his assistants were still in their apprenticeship stage and hadn’t quite cut it yet with the credentials. So basically this was the start of the weekend for Ryan and he couldn’t wait to get home and have a shower and get dressed up for a much needed night on the town. Some women spotting was very much in order as he loved nothing better than to chat up the many beautiful women he set his eyes upon, most of them brunettes, he had a soft spot for brunettes. He jumped into his Primera car and made his way toward his home. After about five minutes on the road as he approached a crossroad he noticed a car had pulled into a lay by just up ahead and it had its warning lights on indicating to Ryan that the car was having some sort of problem. He looked at his watch and cursed because he wouldn’t get home as early as he had originally planned, but when he drove up a little closer and saw that it was a gorgeous brunette at the wheel well that was all he needed to make up his mind on what he was going to do. He checked for traffic and seeing the road was clear he swung round and was soon parked up behind her. He got out the car and made his way toward the driver’s side and thankfully the window was open slightly. He didn’t pay too much attention to the surroundings in the car, only that for now all he could see was the really gorgeous brunette having obvious trouble. Ryan went right into his smooth charmer mode when it came to the ladies, his eyes twinkling as he smiled he said, “Hey gorgeous, having car trouble? Maybe I could take a look and see if I can figure out what’s wrong?” He asked not taking his gaze off the gorgeous girl the whole time he spoke to her and then waiting for an answer. He decided that now was the time to check out if she had a ring on her finger, but from his current position it was too difficult to tell and then he figured what the hell, if she wasn’t available he would soon find out when she either slapped his face or a partner came up and did it for her, as it wouldn’t be the first time after all.

Stacey quickly walked to her car, and opened the back door, loading in the bags that she had. She didn't bring Ebony for this shopping trip this afternoon, as Stacey knew that she was just wanting to spend a couple of hours out getting the essentials. So that afternoon she had dropped off Ebony over at Cassie's house, David's mother, and set off to get groceries, and also some more things for Ebony, that was needed. Now the backseat, next to Ebony's car seat, was full of bags of food and baby items.
Stacey closed the door, then opened the driver's side of the car, and hopped in, dumping her own bag on the passenger seat, and retrieved the car keys. She soon had the car started, and off she went heading back to Cassie's place to pick up Ebony, to take them both home. Stacey turned up the radio, and heard an old nineties song playing, leading her to hum along, and sing a few words. She got through a set of traffic lights, then it all started to go downhill. The car started to slow down, and Stacey quickly turned the steering wheel so that she could park the car on the side of the road.
Once she was safely there, the car completely stopped. Stacey turned the key, but the motor wouldn't start. She kept doing this a couple more time, slowly beginning to get angry. "Come on you piece of shit car. Why are you doing this to me when you are only new?" When she knew the car wasn't going to start, she put the hazzard lights on, then started to try the motor again. No such luck. In anger, Stacey started to bash at the dashboard. And at the top of her lungs, she shouted, "Fuck!" After that, she started to calm down, and knew that there was only one person to call, and that was David.
Stacey then heard a car behind her, and heaved a sigh of relieve, grateful for someone to stop to hopefully help. She looked away, and looked at her phone, wondering if she should still call David. No, she thought, will see what this person can do for me first. Stacey placed her mobile in her lap, and wound the window down a little, just enough to talk to this person first. Then her mouth opened a little, seeing the person who was walking from behind the car to the driver's side. It can't be, thought Stacey, Dom is on his mini tour around America right now. She frowned slightly, and looked at her phone. There were no messages, and she knew that if Dom had come back early he would have said so.
Soon enough this Dom look-a-like had come over, and Stacey could still feel that she was frowning, but she couldn't help but stare at the guy, as he spoke. But as he spoke, Stacey relaxed her face, and started to smile, just knowing deep down that it was definately Dom, and he was playing a trick on her. When he finished what he said, Stacey burst out laughing, and went to pull the handle inside the door, opening it, as she grabbed her phone off her lap. "Very funny Dom. I am not sure you even know how to fix a car, let alone know what the problem is."
Stacey got out of the car, and closed the door behind her. She eyed off the car, and then turned to the guy who she was convinced was Dom. "So I guess you went to visit Sam first when you got home. I didn't think you were coming back from tour till the weekend?"

After Ryan had looked into the open window and spoke to the girl calling her gorgeous and asking if she had car trouble and maybe he could take a look the girl burst out laughing which had caused him to raise his eyebrow slightly wondering why she had burst out laughing. Not that he had to wonder for too long when she spoke calling him Dom. He didn’t register at first why she had called him that. Then he remembered that the twin he had never met or knew was called Dominic, so she knew his twin brother, this could turn out to be to his advantage because he wanted to get to know his blood family but he couldn’t help but to play on it a little. It was the rather naughty side of Ryan coming out to play you could say. Favouring Dominic’s music anyway and knowing quite a bit about him he knew how he acted around men and women and couldn’t help but play along slightly even if it was just for a few minutes.
So he began to laugh a little, not the typical Dominic giggle so that might be a tiny give away, “Alright sugar you guessed, it’s me and I have absolutely no idea how to fix the car, you caught me out.” He knew he couldn’t say too much because he had no idea how much this girl knew his brother and he didn’t know what his brother was doing right now although he was pretty sure his official web site said that he was doing a promotional tour for a week for his album which had been released on the fifteenth of March so he might not be able to play this for too long but he was going to make the most of it while he could.
He then stood back a little as she stepped out of the car and he then couldn’t help but think why couldn’t she tell that he wasn’t Dominic, he wasn’t dressed anything like how his brother dressed, he couldn’t understand it. But he had to admit that his brother had pretty good taste in friends because she was an absolute stunner. When the girl spoke again she mentioned someone called Sam and he knew that was his brother’s lover simply from what he had read and then she brought up the very thing he had thought about only seconds before, that she thought he wasn’t due back from his tour until the weekend. Could he play this for a little longer or not he wondered and then thought why the hell not, it could be fun for a short while anyway. “I was so totally missing Sam and I decided to call the last two promotional shows off so I could get back.” He then mentally slapped himself because he had a feeling that wasn’t something Dominic would have done.
He then realised that this wasn’t going to be something he could pull off besides it was hardly fair on the beautiful girl standing in front of him. Grinning with his eyes twinkling he spoke again, “Actually I know who you think I am but I’m not him, as far as I know he is still touring and I have never met Sam, I’ve only seen him briefly in the newspaper along with Dominic. My name is Ryan and I really could probably fix the problem with your car.” He wondered if she would believe what he was saying and then he thought there was one thing he could do to rectify her confusion his brother was as gay as the hills so there was no way he would do this. He then leant in and kissed her on the lips putting quite a bit of pressure into it but not a passionate one either, he wasn’t that much of a bad boy but he figured if anything was going to prove to her that he wasn’t her gay friend Dominic, that would.
He pulled back from it seconds later with his eyes closed as he had savoured the feel of his lips on hers and then realised that he might very well get a slap on the face for doing that he thought he had better act pretty quick. “I, uhm sorry, but you seemed so adamant that I was Dominic I felt that was about the only way you would realise I wasn’t him, as I can’t see him ever kissing a girl like that.” He said having absolutely no idea that Dominic had indeed kissed Stacey a few weeks ago when he had admitted that he had always been curious about it.

Stacey hadn't meant to burst out laughing, but what Dom was saying was awfully funny. She soon spoke, and he then laughed a little, which made her wonder for only a split second if it was Dom she was talking to. But if it wasn't it was someone who could be his twin. Then he said that she guessed it, that it was him, and he had absolutely no idea how to fix a car, saying she caught him out. Stacey let out a short laugh, pointing at him. "I knew it!" she exclaimed.
Stacey had soon gotten out of the car, and was standing with the guy. She looked at the car, then questioned him about stopping off to see Sam, and then said that she didn't think he was coming back from the tour till the weekend. The guy then said that he was totally missing Sam, and he decided to call the last two shows off so he could come back. Well this comment made her tilt her head a little, and she felt her face frown a little. Stacey moved her eyes over his face, feeling that it was Dom still, but then eyed off his clothes, and then thought about what he just said. Dom never speaks like that, thought Stacey. "Really?"
That was all she could get out, when the guy said that he knew who she thought he was, but he wasn't. Stacey gasped slightly, placing her hand over her mouth. She kept looking at him, just finding it hard to believe that it wasn't Dom, but really she should have known her own best friend. The guy kept talking, soon saying his name was Ryan, and that he could probably fix the problem with her car. Stacey blinked a few times, looking from her car, back to Ryan. Something was still eating her inside, still wanting to believe that it was still Dom, playing a trick on her. She started to laugh a little, but then didn't get a chance to do much else, like question him again, when he kissed her.
Stacey's eyes grew wide, then for a second enjoyed the kiss, like she had that time when Dom had kissed her. She kissed him back, feeling her arms moving around his body, but then she quickly took them down to beside her body, and pulled away. Then she did the one thing she had never done, and slapped Ryan on the cheek. Though this movement made her gasp, eyes growing wide, then put her hands up to her mouth. As she moved her hands away, she began to talk. "I am so sorry." Then she shook her head, "Maybe I'm not!" She showed her left hand to him, pointing to her engagement ring, "I am an engaged woman." She turned towards her car, but then turned again, feeling angry. "And what gives you the right to pretend to be my best friend? I should have known it wasn't him. I am so stupid!"
Stacey huffed out loud, then put her hand on the handle of the driver's door, and went to open it. She kept trying to open her door, but she soon realised that it was locked. Throwing her hands up in the air, though still firmly holding her mobile, Stacey looked at the sky. "Just great. What else can go wrong today?" She then looked at Ryan, letting out a deep breath, still feeling angry. "Well if you want to make yourself useful, you could fix the car. But hey... now you can't as I can't pop the hood of the car." Stacey rolled her eyes, and then began to dial David's number.

When Ryan had said to the girl that she had caught him out and that he had no idea how to fix a car as he tried to pretend he was Dominic Salvatore his twin brother he had to laugh again as she pointed her finger and said that she knew it. He felt a bit bad then for having lied to her but he just found that he couldn’t help but be a bit naughty with it. He knew if he said anything he might crack or blow his cover so he just sort of laughed again. Although laughing was probably going to blow his cover anyway what with it being different to Dominic’s very feminine giggle.
When the girl had asked him about Sam who was Dominic’s lover as he knew a lot about his brother what with being a fan of his he had said that he had been totally missing Sam and called the last two shows off to get home earlier. He had then mentally slapped himself knowing that probably wouldn’t be the kind of thing Dominic would say or do. When the girl then questioned that by saying really he knew that he was going to have to start telling the girl the truth about who he really was. So he began to say that he knew who she thought he was and as he had said that he heard her gasp a little and then placed her hand over her mouth but somehow he got this feeling that she still wasn’t quite convinced. Even more so after he had said he could probably fix the problem with her car and she looked from him to the car and back to him and then laughed a little.
So he did the only thing that Ryan could think to do to try and convince her and kissed her. It was the kind of naughty thing that often got him a slap on the face from either the girl or the girl’s partner but somehow he just felt that by doing this she would realise that he wasn’t Dominic. His brother was obviously very close to this girl he could tell by her reaction. As he kissed her however he felt her arms go around him and for a split second he thought his luck might be in and kissed her some more but then the moment had passed when he felt her arms move and he had pulled away from her apologising saying that she was so adamant that he was Dominic that by kissing her would be the only way to prove he wasn’t him. Then it came, the all too familiar sting of a slap as her hand made contact with his face.
It was quite a powerful slap and he immediately put his hand up to his face and rubbed at it slightly, but the soon as she had done it she was apologising to him. He couldn’t help but smirk slightly and then she said that maybe she wasn’t sorry as she was an engaged woman showing her engagement ring off to him. This really did make him feel bad. He was about to say something when she then spoke again in an angry voice asking what gave him the right to pretend to be her best friend. So his earlier assumption was right, they were close. When he heard her say she was so stupid he shook his head a little. “Firstly, I deserved the slap, so nothing to apologise for, secondly I’m sorry but I didn’t realise you were engaged and thirdly the reason why I was pretending to be your best friend is because Dominic Salvatore is my twin brother. And yes it was as much a shock to me when I first found out as I am sure it is to you. I’ve been trying to find him ever since I found out and when you called me Dom before I just couldn’t help but play on it, I really am sorry.” Ryan tried to explain although he couldn’t expect her to stop being angry at him so quickly he had done a pretty naughty thing after all.
“And finally you aren’t stupid, there was no reason why you shouldn’t have thought I was Dominic, being twins we are very alike, there is one major difference, well two actually, one I’m not gay and two, I don’t sing, well not like my brother can that’s for sure. Mechanic by trade, I own my own garage which was why I said I could probably help fix the problem with your car.” Ryan finished knowing that he couldn’t have the girl think she was stupid when it was quite clear to see that she was anything but stupid.
Ryan then saw the girl put her hands up into the air as if she was exasperated by something which was only confirmed when she spoke. He really did feel terrible about the way he had acted and as it was looking fairly obvious that she had locked the car keys in the car he was about to say something when she spoke saying if he wanted to make himself useful he could fix the car but then added that she couldn’t pop the hood. “That would be because you locked the keys in the car.” Ryan said stating the obvious and then shook his head slightly but smiled, “And that’s probably my fault, don’t panic I can sort this.” He went to his own car and brought out his mobile tool kit along with the universal key which can open any car in emergencies like this and made his way back over to the girl. He raised his eyebrows as he spoke holding the key in his hand, “It’s a universal key, it usually opens any normal car door.” He then put the key in the lock gave it a quick turn and the door was open and he reached to pick up the keys and then handed them to the girl as he soon popped the hood. “Let me take a look and whatever the problem is, I’ll fix it free of charge, guess you can call it an apology from me to you. What’s your name by the way just would be nice to speak to you using your name than just thinking of you as the girl all the time.” He gave her a warm smile as he popped the hood up with the lever to see if he could figure out what had gone wrong with the car.

After the guy, who she thought was Dom, had laughed after saying that she had caught him out, she questioned it again in her head. Dom never laughed, he giggled like a girl, which she had never questioned, because that was who he was, and she loved him for it. After this moment, Stacey had asked him about Sam, and after he had said that he had missed Sam, and called off the last two shows to be with Sam, again Stacey questioned it. Stacey knew deep down that Dom wouldn't do that to his fans.
So it seemed that it wasn't Dom, and after going back and forth between them, Stacey still wasn't convinced. Then Ryan did the one thing she hadn't expected him to do, as he was a total stranger, he kissed her. At first she was shocked, but then after what Dom had done that time, Stacey started to enjoy this kiss, and because she was kissing him, Ryan continued to kiss her more. Though that all stopped, when she had dropped her hands, and then did the one thing she had never done. Stacey stapped the guy.
As soon as she did that, Stacey had gasped, and watched Ryan rub at his face. She apologised for slapping him, and saw him smirk at that remarks. So she soon took it back, talking about being engaged, showing the ring, and asked him what gave him the right to pretend to be her best friend. After Stacey finished saying that she was so stupid, she saw Ryan shake his head. As he spoke, Stace kind of glared at him. She couldn't believe that someone could stoop that low to impersonate some like Dom. Ryan spoke of deserving the slap, which made Stacey cross her arms, nodding in agreement. He added then that he was sorry but he didn't realise that she was engaged, which made Stacey roll her eyes a little. Ryan then gave her the reason why he was pretending to be her best friend, was because Dom was his twin brother.
Stacey quickly unfolded her arms, and gasped, placing her hands over her mouth. Ryan added that it was as much a shock to him when he first found out, as much as it was for her. She just stood there, wide eyed at what she was hearing. Stacey slowly moved her hands away from her face, letting her arms drop to her sides, listening to what Ryan had to say about it all. She had started to calm down, when Ryan spoke the last few words, and Stacey felt angry at what he had done all over again, crossing her arms across her chest.
Ryan then finally said that she wasn't stupid, and that there was no reason why she shouldn't have thought it was Dom. Hearing the two major differences between him and Dom, and what he did for a living, made her just stare, not sure what to say to any of it. She still felt a bit betrayed, after his little stint, making her think it was Dom.
When Stacey had turned back to her car, and attempted to open the door, she soon realised that the car was locked, and her keys were still inside. Throwing her hands up in the air, Stacey exclaimed what else could go wrong. She had then turned to Ryan, saying if he wanted to make himself useful, he could fix the car, but then said that he couldn't because she couldn't pop the hood open. When Ryan said that it was cause she locked the keys in the car, all she could do was glare at him. "Of cause I can see that," she said in an unpleasant tone. She soon felt bad for being like that, but she couldn't help it. Ryan then said that it was probably his fault, but not to panic, as he could sort it.
Stacey followed him in the direction he was going, as she tapped her foot, and then looked at her phone, seeing that she had dialled David's number, but hadn't actually let it connect. She got out of the number, ready to somehow give Ryan the benefit of the doubt. He came back, saying that what he had in his hand was a key that could open any car. Stacey stepped aside, and allowed Ryan to do his thing. Soon enough the car door was open, and he retrieved the keys from inside the car. Ryan then handed the keys back to Stacey who unfolded her arms, and took them back.
When Ryan said for her to let him take a look to see what the problem was, stating that he would fix it for free, calling it an apology from him to her. Stacey nodded slowly, then he asked for her name. As Ryan popped the hood up using the lever inside the car, Stacey looked at him, "It's Anastacia." She wondered, if he knew so much about Dom, then he might have heard of her during an interview, or read it that Dom had a best friend. After all he wrote two songs for Ebony, her daughter.

After the girl had given him the very much deserved slap he had rubbed at his cheek and smirked at her but then soon saw that she really wasn’t very happy with him at all. Well he couldn’t blame her what with trying to pretend to be Dominic who was obviously a very good friend of hers and then kissing her like that without permission. He had soon begun to speak apologising and saying how he had deserved the slap and that he didn’t realise she was engaged and he saw her roll her eyes and again he felt kind of bad for the way he had been behaving. Then he had told her why he had been pretending to be Dominic. As he thought she seemed shocked, but then he had been shocked back in the year 2008 when he had seen Dominic on American Idol. He then watched as she unfolded her arms and gasped placing her hands over her mouth; yep he thought an obvious shock to her like he thought it would be. However she was still very obviously annoyed at him and now he was annoyed at himself, because this girl would have been the perfect opportunity to get him closer to his blood family.
Even when he had told her that she wasn’t stupid and there was no reason why she shouldn’t have thought it was Dominic she didn’t say anything but just continued to stare at him, or more glare at him. He had this feeling that Dominic would probably be very pissed at him for doing what he had done to his friend, especially if she was the one he had read about because Dominic was very open in any interviews he had read always giving a shout out to the people close in his life. He then watched as she had turned back to her car and then threw her hands up in the air obviously very annoyed about the fact that she had now managed to lock the keys in the car and couldn’t pop the hood for him to look and see what was wrong. He had then made the very obvious statement that she had locked the keys in the car which got a rather unpleasant response from her but really after everything he couldn’t blame her as such. “Yeah, sorry, nothing like stating the obvious huh.” He gave her a weak smile then, they weren’t getting off to a good start and he really needed this girl to lead him to Dominic and his real mom and dad, not to mention his younger brother and sister. He had then told her not to panic as he could sort it.
Ryan had then gone to collect his mobile tool kit and the universal key which opened most car doors and returned telling her what the key could do and soon enough he had the door opened, had reached for the keys and handed them to the girl. He had then popped the hood and said that he would fix the car for free by way of an apology and he saw her nod her head slowly. He opened the hood and propped it up with the lever and as he began to fiddle around to see what could be the problem he asked for her name. The soon as he heard the name he knew he had been right with his earlier thoughts about the girl. So this was Dominic’s best friend, the same friend who had the baby girl called Ebony whom Dominic had written the songs for. He had remembered thinking that was a fantastic thing for Dominic to have done and he had gone and bought about ten copies of the single knowing half the proceeds were going to the child.
“Anastacia is a lovely name, so you’re the one Dominic refers to when he speaks of Stace in his interviews I imagine, and if you are, you must be the one with the baby girl called Ebony? I remember thinking what a lovely thing Dominic had done by writing the songs for your little girl, I bought ten copies of it you know because I had read about half the proceeds going to your daughter.” Ryan gave her a smile, not that he was trying to win her over by telling her that he just simply told her because he was stating facts. He then returned to the car and after a few moments he couldn’t see anything obviously wrong which probably meant it was to do with the battery. He went into the tool kit and brought out the battery tester, putting them onto each of the negative and positive terminals. He soon got no reading from it.
He shook his head and looked at her, “How old is your car Anastacia? It’s just that your battery appears to be flat which would explain why your car won’t start. If your car is fairly new then it might be a faulty battery. I can either tow your car back to my garage to replace the battery now, or I can give you a jump start if you’re in a hurry and ask you to bring the car in tomorrow and I’ll replace it then for free.” He had no idea if Stacey was in any hurry to be anywhere and he didn’t want to hold her back unnecessarily. He went into his wallet and pulled out a business card and handed it over to her, “This is my card and the address of the garage, or if you don’t want me to jump start in case it breaks down again before you get to where you’re going, I could offer to take you to where you are going and bring you back home and then I can tow your car back to my garage and change the battery and then contact you when it’s ready to be collected.” Ryan said giving Stacey a few suggestions to play around with. He could see that she still wasn’t too impressed with him and he still couldn’t blame her, but he seriously didn’t want to blow his best chance at getting to know his family.

After Ryan had said to her that she had locked the keys in the car, Stacey hadn't really appreciated that, and soon he apologised, trying to make an obvious joke or something. She let out a sigh, and Ryan went to get this key that could open the car, and he came back, opening it for her. Once the actual car keys were in her hand, Ryan had the hood popped, having a look to see what the problem was. Stacey still couldn't believe that the car was obviously having trouble at this early stage into having it. She thought that new cars were meant to last a bit longer than it actually had. Ryan asked for her name then, and she gave it, giving it in full, rather than shortening it. He responded to her name, and she gave him a weak smile, and then nodded, when he acknowledged who she was to Dom. Hearing what he had done when the single came out, made her feel less mad at him. It was nice to know that people had bought it, even though they would not know who the little girl it was all for was. "Well, I guess Ebony won't really appreciate it until she is a little older, but I know that I appreciate what Dom did. He would do anything for me, even though I did try to stop him." Stacey remembered that day full well, the day that they had bumped into each other unexpectedly. Sometimes it seemed like yesterday, but if that was the case, she had the baby quick smart. Stacey watched Ryan take out something else, and as she moved closer, she saw that he was doing something to the battery. Whatever was meant to happen wasn't, and Stacey rolled her eyes. Ryan soon asked Stacey how old the car was, as the battery appeared to be flat. "Well I only got it back in January, just before Ebony was born, like around mid-January. So I guess it shouldn't be flat at that age then." Then Stacey thought about what the suggestions that Ryan had given her. She looked at her watch, "I was on my way actually to pick up Ebony." Stacey looked at the time again. "But I guess if you can fix it now, I can just ring David's mom to let her know that I will be late, then contact David." Stacey wondered what would be better. "I think maybe getting it fixed now might be the best option to be honest. I will just have to make a call first." She gave Ryan a quick smile, then turned to make the call. After telling Cassie that she would be late, which wasn't going to be a problem, Stacey put the phone in her pocket, and turned back to Ryan. He soon gave her his card, which she took from him, looking at it. He spoke again, and Stacey listened, "It's okay David's mum is happy to look after Ebony for a while more. I can come with you now. Rather get it all done now rather than later." She gave him another small smile, feeling a little better, and then knew she had to do something else. "I am sorry for the way I acted. I was angry at you for what you were doing, pretending to be Dom. It is just that he does mean the world to me, and vise versa. I just hate having people doing things that could hurt him." Stacey then turned and opened the car to retrieve her bag.

After Ryan had got the girl’s name he had made the comment on who she was to Dominic what with him reading up about his twin brother wanting to know everything he could about him while he was searching to find him and his blood family. What Anastacia said about Dominic at that point made him smile warmly and nod his head, “I got that from interviews I’ve heard with him and magazine articles that I’ve read, I can tell that you’re really close, which makes me feel even more sorry about what I did before.” He truly did feel sorry and he totally deserved the slap she had given him, hell if a guy had done that to his girlfriend if he had one he would have punched them one, so it was fairly understandable. “And I am sure he knows you appreciate it, I can tell that you do, I hear it in your voice.” This made Ryan sigh a little, as he had been trying to track his blood family down ever since Dominic had appeared on the show in 2008. He so wanted to ask her if she could possibly introduce them but figured he’d wait until she was less mad at him even if she did appear to be less mad now he wanted to make sure that she wouldn’t snap at him for asking her.
Ryan then took out the battery tester after placing the points on both the negative and positive terminals and got no reading from it, indicating the battery was flat. He had then asked Stacey how old her car was and then went on to explain about the battery being flat and offered suggestions that he could do to help. Stacey soon replied saying that the car was only bought in mid January making it only two months and Stacey then confirmed that the battery shouldn’t be flat in that time. “No, it most definitely shouldn’t be flat, as I said before it must be a faulty battery, it can happen and usually the place you get the car from can replace it under warranty, but I’ll do it, it will make me feel better about earlier.” Really Ryan wouldn’t lose much in replacing the battery for free and if it was going to help the girl out and maybe get him a ticket to his blood family then why would he turn it down?
Stacey soon said that she had been on her way to pick up Ebony and Ryan knew that the car not starting at any point would have been a bugger but to have been picking up her daughter when it happened would be the worst time possible. He was going to say something when Stacey then spoke again saying if he could fix it now that she could contact David’s mom to let her know that she would be late and then contact David. Stacey then confirmed that it would be best to do that and she just needed to make a call first. Ryan nodded his head giving her a bright smile, “I can fix it now for you if that’s what you want, I would have to take the car to the garage obviously but it’s not too far from here actually.” Stacey then made the call she mentioned and Ryan put the bonnet back down on Stacey’s car, jumped back into his own car and moved it in front of Stacey’s. He then pulled out his tow rope and attached it to the front of Stacey’s car and then secured it to the back of his and by the time he had it set up to tow the car to his garage Stacey was finished with the call.
When Ryan had given Stacey his card she took it saying that it was alright that David’s mom could watch Ebony longer so she could get the car fixed right away. “That’s fine then, I already have the tow rope set up, and you can keep the card, you never know when you might need to use my services again, as I do annual service checks and MOT’s as well.” Ryan gave her another bright smile and although it was going to delay him getting out for some fun that evening he realised he wasn’t really caring. Right now the only thing he seemed to care about was helping to fix Stacey’s car and then hopefully getting her to agree to introduce him to his brother or his whole family whatever came first and whatever was easier.
Stacey then spoke again apologising for the way she had acted saying that Dom meant the world to her and that she hated to think of anyone hurting him. Ryan put up his hand and shook his head, “It’s alright Anastacia, I’m really sorry for what I did, and I do understand why you acted that way. I’ve not even met him and yet I feel I have this love for him, I have heard so many things written about him because of his sexuality, it makes me want to take them and rip them apart, I can’t stand the thought of anybody hurting him either. I just thought I would play up on the fact you thought I was him and for that I am terribly sorry, I mean why would I want to upset the one person who could get me in touch with my blood family?” Ryan said and gave her a weak smile. Then with a brighter smile he continued, “Come on, the sooner we get you back to the garage, the sooner we can get you back on the road so to speak.” He released the hand break on Stacey’s car so that it could move while being towed and then opened his passenger door to allow Stacey to get in. Once she was inside he quickly went round to the driver’s side and soon he had the both of them heading to his garage which was really only about five minutes away from where they currently were.

After Stacey spoke about appreciating Dom very much, Ryan replied, saying that he got that from the interviews he had heard, and the magazines that he had read. She gave him a smile, hearing what he was saying about it all. Stacey was definately starting to let her guard down a little about Ryan, hearing that he was sorry for what he had done, in regard to impersonating Dom. He then added that he was sure that Dom knew she appreciated it, he could hear it in her voice. Stacey gave him a quick smile, then looked down a little, kicking at the ground slightly. She wondered what might happen if she decided to give in and take him to see Dom. Though she knew she might have to talk to David first, as really he would know the right thing to do.
After Stacey told Ryan how old the car was, and that the battery shouldn't be flat, Ryan acknowledged this. He explained about the battery being faulty, saying that it could happen, and that he said he could do it, adding that it would make him feel better. Stacey bit on her bottom lip slight, then decided that there really wasn't any harm in him putting in a new one. "Okay."
After Stacey said that if he could fix it now, she would call David's mum, then contact David, and then said that it would be best to do that. Ryan said that he could fix it now for her, and said that it wasn't too far from where they were to the garage. Stacey nodded, and then called Cassie to ask if she could watch Ebony for a bit longer. Once she was off the phone, placing it into her pocket, she turned and saw that Ryan had his car in front of her own, and the rope was attached to both cars, in order to tow her own.
Ryan gave her his card, which she took, then mentioned that David's mum would watch Ebony so she could get the car fixed. He acknowledged that, stating that he had the ropes all set up, which Stacey noddded at. When he said that she could keep the card, never knowing when she might need to use his services again, she gave him a smile, nodding again. "No worries. Thank you." Stacey fiddled with the card in her hands, then she apologised for the way she had acted towards him, adding that Dom meant the world to her. She gave him a weak smile, when Ryan put his hand up, and shook his head. He again apologised, and then went on about how he felt towards Dom.
Stacey took in every word he said about it, and then hearing about what he wanted to do to what was said about Dom and his sexuality, made her feel that he really did want to be a part of Dom's life, and protect him, just as much as Stacey did. Though Ryan then said at the end that he was sorry for what he did, in regards to pretending to be Dom, and said why would he want to upset the one person who could get him in touch with his blood family. Stacey gave him a weak smile, wondering what to say to all of that. Really it wasn't her place to say anything about Dom's family, even though she would class them as her second family, after David's. They had been more of a family to her than her own.
"Well, I guess we can speak more about that later." Ryan then told her to come on, which made her nod, and followed him to his car. "Thank you," Stacey said as he opened the door for her to get in. Once in, she placed her seatbelt on, and waited for Ryan to come around, and get them to his garage. In the side mirror, Stacey kept making sure that her car was following, but knew that it would be following. She quickly pulled her phone out, and texted David to tell him of her situation, telling him that his mum was still looking after Ebony. Once the text was sent, Stacey turned to Ryan, giving him a smile, then turned to the front, hoping that her car would be fixed soon so she could go and pick up her baby girl.

When Stacey said okay to him putting in the new battery for her even though she could get it done for free under her warranty on the car, Ryan gave her a smile knowing that doing this would make him feel better for what he had done previously. Ryan could be a bit of a joker and tease and it was that side that had come out when he decided to let her think that he was Dominic but he had regretted it the moment he had done it. So fixing her car for free was the only thing he could think of to making the situation between them somewhat better.
While Stacey had made her phone call Ryan had gone about setting up the two ropes between his car and Stacey’s so that he could tow it to the garage. Stacey had then confirmed that she could get the car fixed right away Ryan had told her to keep the card he had handed to her earlier stating that he carried out annual services and MOT’s also. Stacey thanked him and Ryan nodded his head giving her a bright smile, “You’re welcome.”
When Stacey had apologised for the way she had been acting Ryan had put up his hand and shook his head telling her he understood and then went on about how protective he felt toward his twin brother even though he hadn’t met him yet. He had then said he wouldn’t want to upset the one person who could get him in touch with his blood family. He had meant it but he also knew how it might sound to her so he wouldn’t be in the least bit surprise if she told him that he would have to figure that one out by himself. He saw Stacey give him a weak smile when he had said that and it did make him wonder what she was thinking.
Stacey then replied saying that she guessed they could speak more about that later, Ryan gave her a weak smile before replying, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to sound desperate or anything, I know they live in this city and I know I could have got some help but with Dominic being such a star I wasn’t sure they would have trusted me no matter how much I look like him. I would understand if you didn’t want to say anything.” Ryan’s words came out in a slightly sad voice even though he hadn’t meant for it to come out that way but he then looked up and gave her a weak smile before breaking into a brighter one telling her that the sooner they get her to the garage the sooner she can be back on the road.
Ryan had opened the passenger door for Stacey and she thanked him and he smiled at her, “No problem.” He had then made his way round to the driver’s side and headed toward his garage. Less than five minutes later he pulled up outside the garage. He then turned to Stacey, “Just wait there a second, I need to open up and then I’ll drive both cars inside.” Luckily enough the last overnight repair had been picked up earlier that day so there was room for both the cars to be inside. He stepped outside and opened the shutters and then jumped back into the car and drove both of them inside. He went into the garage as far as he could and then turned the engine off. He got out and then opened the door for Stacey.
“You can stay in my car if you want, or there is a seat up toward the back you can use if you want to talk to me while I work.” Ryan suggested and once he got the answer from Stacey he went about removing the tow rope and throwing it back into the boot of his car. Taking in the make and model of the car he looked at Stacey, “Be right back, just have to pick up the right battery for the car, I think I might have one in stock, or I at least I should have one.” Sometimes he had to order parts in and they could take two or three days to get to him depending on the part. He made his way into the back shop of his garage where he kept all the parts for the many vehicles he might happen to work on sometimes. Soon enough he retrieved the battery for the model of Stacey’s car and a few moments later he was back out.
“I thought I had one.” He said as he gave her a bright smile before popping the hood of Stacey’s car open and propping it up with the lever. Soon enough he had the existing battery disconnected and put it down on the ground next to him. “It’s up to you, but you might want to keep a hold of that and still get a new one through your warranty, but you shouldn’t have to, unless this one is faulty.” He then lifted it up to his face closely and then began to speak to the battery, “But you’re not going to be faulty are you? No you’re going to be a good battery for Anastacia.” He looked at Stacey and shrugged and then chuckled a little, “It might work, you never know.” Ryan then got the battery and began to connect it to Stacey’s car.

After Stacey said that they could talk about it all, in regards to his biological family, later, Ryan apologised. She shook her head, putting her hand up slightly, "It's okay. I can understand that you have good intentions over it all." Stacey put her hand up to her chest, "I probably won't say anything personally, as really it is not any of my business. Though...," Stacey wondered if she could maybe just tell Dom that she had someone she wanted him to meet, hoping that he wouldn't ask any questions. She moved her hand away from her chest, and bit on her bottom lip, but then shook her head. "Let's talk about it later."
So it seemed that Ryan knew a little, but not enough to lead him in the right direction. She felt kind of sad for him after that, wanting to help, but really it was up to Dom if he wanted to meet the brother that he never knew he had. Stacey would have to find a way of letting them meet somehow. After five minutes of being in the car, or maybe less, they pulled up at a garage. Ryan told her to wait a second, which Stacey nodded at, and watched as he went inside. She sighed a little, thinking more about Ryan and the whole situation he was in. Stacey knew that she had a family, but it was going to be hard, after so long, to go and actually see them. Just thinking about it kind of made her feel uneasy.
Ryan was soon back, and drove both cars inside the garage. Once they were inside, he asked Stacey if she wanted to stay in the car, or sit outside on a chair while he worked. "I will sit and talk outside of the car." She got out of the car, and then walked over to one of the chairs that were available, sitting down with her bag. Stacey nodded when Ryan said that he would be right back, he just had to get the right battery. "Okay." When he left, Stacey got out her phone to see if there were any calls or messages, but nothing.
Ryan was soon back with the battery. When he pulled out the old battery, he suggested that she might want to keep a hold of it, and get a new one through her warrenty, though she shouldn't have to. Stacey nodded, "Well if I have to, I guess I will." Hearing Ryan talk to the battery made her smile a little. When he turned and smiled, saying that it might work, led to Stacey giving him a smile. As he went to connect the battery, as far as she could tell, she spoke to him. "You can call me Stacey if you want. My full name is a bit of a mouthful."

After Ryan had apologised to Stacey about the whole finding his real family he saw her shake her head and then put her hand up saying that it was okay and she understood that his intentions were good. She then put her hand up to her chest and said that she probably wouldn’t say anything personally as it wasn’t any of her business, Ryan began to slowly nod his head because he knew what she was saying was right. Maybe he should just go to the social people, after all to look at him nobody could say he was lying, could they? She had trailed of and then finished with saying they could talk about it later. Ryan just gave her a weak smile, “Look I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be putting you in that position, don’t worry about it, I’ll just go to the social people and tell them who I am and who my blood family are and can they get me in touch with them. I mean come on there is no denying that Dominic and I are related, so please, don’t worry about it, I’m really sorry again.” Ryan felt awful, he should never have tricked her because now that he had spoken to her for longer he could tell that she was a really nice person and he shouldn’t have put her in that position either.
After that Ryan had taken them to his garage and once he got both cars inside he had told Stacey that she could remain in his car or she could sit on the seat toward the back. Stacey replied saying she would sit and talk outside of the car. “No problem.” Ryan replied and then pointed with his hand to where the seat was. Once Stacey was sitting he had said he would be right back which Stacey had nodded her head at and said okay and he had then gone to the get new battery and was back out moments later with one in his hands. Ryan had then removed the battery that was currently in her car and said to Stacey that she might want to hold onto it to get a new one through her warranty anyway even though she shouldn’t need one. Stacey had replied saying that if she had to then she guessed she would. Ryan turned to her, “No Anastacia, you don’t have to keep it, I just thought maybe you might want to get another new one through your warranty, but I can just scrap this for you it’s not a problem.”
He had then spoken to the new battery saying that it was going to be good for Anastacia wasn’t it and had then turned to Stacey and shrugged saying that it might work, he then went about putting the new battery into place and fixing up the terminals so that it was properly in place. He then went to get his battery tester again and put the points onto each terminal and nodded his head, “Much better, you should be good to go now.” He then heard Stacey speak to him saying that he could call her Stacey if he wanted to as her full name was a bit of a mouthful. He turned back to her with a warm smile, “To be honest, I like the name Anastacia you don’t hear it often, but you’re right it is a bit of a mouthful, so I’d be honoured to call you Stacey.” He replied and gave her a smile and then went back to the car and put the hood of the car down. He then went into the driver’s side of Stacey’s car and turned the key in the ignition and the engine started up right away. He then turned it back off again.
“Well that’s you all fixed up, car working again and you’ll be good to go.” Ryan suddenly for some reason didn’t want to say goodbye to Stacey quite yet, it was because she was his only connection to his blood family and yet who was he to keep her back from her child? “You can basically leave whenever you want, might follow you though just to make sure that it is definitely the battery at fault and nothing else causing the batteries to fail.” Ryan then walked passed Stacey into the back of the garage again and turned the taps on and washed his hands which were slightly dirty again after working with Stacey’s car. A minute or two later he came back out again, “I know you are probably desperate to get to your child but would you like a coffee or something?” He asked and then cursed inside because he just couldn’t seem to let her go and he knew that if she said she had to go he would just have to let her and do what he said he would do earlier and go to the social people to try and track his blood family down instead.

Stacey put her hand up a little again, when Ryan said he was sorry, and spoke of going to social services, telling them who he was, and who is blood family were. She shook her head, "Ryan, I didn't mean it like that. Really I would love to help. But you have to admit that it is going to be a little weird for Dom and his family. Though it does make me wonder how you came to be separated from your family. Your biological family." It was kind of like a little mystery that Stacey might be able to help solve, though knew that she was only a small piece in the puzzle for Ryan.
When Stacey said that she would hold onto the battery if she had to, she listened to what Ryan had to say, and it made her bite on her bottom lip a little. "Um, if you think I don't need it, then you can do away with it here, if that is okay." Soon enough the battery was in the car and tested, and it seemed to Stacey that it was all in good working order now. When Ryan confirmed that one, she nodded, giving him a smile. "Thanks so much for that, Ryan." Stacey had then said that he could call her Stacey if he wanted to as her full name was a bit of a mouthful. Hearing what he said in regards to what she said made her smile warmly at him. "Well I will be more than honoured to hear you say it." She giggled a little, liking Ryan more and more, as a friend naturally.
Ryan soon started the engine of the car, acknowledging that it was all fixed up, and that she would be good to go. Stacey slowly got up, and began to rummage in her bag, wanting to pay for the labour at least, if he didn't accept the cash for the battery. She soon pulled out a twenty dollar bill, "Here. At least let me pay you for helping me out." Stacey hoped that he would take it, even towards getting another battery to replace the one that he put in the car.
Ryan then said that she could basically leave whenever she wanted to, suggesting to follow her through just to make sure that it was definately the battery at fault. Stacey nodded, and kind of got a sense that she should maybe stay for a few minutes, or maybe if he did follow her through to Cassie's house, she would invite him inside, despite the house not being hers. Or, she thought, he could just come back my house. Stacey couldn't see any harm in any of those thoughts. She thought about these more as he walked into the back of the garage for whatever reason it was he had to go back there. Stacey looked at her phone and see the time, she knew that she would have to go and get Ebony. She hated being away from her for too long, and sometimes she couldn't leave her with Cassie, despite knowing that she woud be fine.
Ryan came back out, and asked if she would like a coffee or something. Stacey looked at her phone again, "Um. I really..." She looked back at Ryan, and just felt that she needed to suggest one of her own ideas. "Would you mind if we had one back at my house? I really want to go and get Ebony, and take her home. If you want to?"

When Ryan had said that he would go to the social services to try and find his blood family instead feeling bad for putting Stacey in the position he had he soon saw her put her hand up and then shook her head before she began to speak to him. He listened to what she said but he still didn’t feel too good about putting her in the position that he had. When she said that he had to admit that it was going to be a little weird for Dom and his family Ryan nodded his head slowly and although not an overly emotional guy, well not to the extent of his twin he could feel his emotions getting the better of him now and really had to bite back some tears which had been threatening to fall. He looked at Stacey and gave her a weak smile, “All the more reason why I should just go to the social services about it, you’re right, it is going to be weird for them.” Then Stacey had continued to talk saying it made her wonder why he came to be separated from his blood family.
He sighed knowing that the truth was a pretty long one, although he could tell her in the shortest way possible but decided to just get it all out there in the open. “My so called mom stole me from the Salvatore family at birth.” He took in a couple of deep breaths and did his best to compose himself before telling her more because the last thing he wanted to do was to break down in tears in front of Stacey, after all he was supposed to be the tougher one out of him and his twin. “My biological parents knew they were having twins, we were the first born into the family. However my so called mom couldn’t have children and it was a busy night at the hospital when Dominic and I were born and she used it to her advantage and because I didn’t cry immediately my so called mom took me away to help me breathe but instead of giving me back to my parents she called her husband and told him a baby had been abandoned at the hospital and gave me to him when he arrived. My parents, my biological parents that is; were told I had...” Now the emotions really were getting to him and he had to cough a couple of times to continue, “...she told them I had died and apparently they were so happy to have been blessed with one child and having to be strong for him and being told that I was stillborn and not grown fully they didn’t ask for the body to bury me. You have to know that the moment I found out about my biological family through seeing Dominic on American Idol would you believe, that I disowned my so called parents after they told me the truth and I’ve been searching for the Salvatore family ever since knowing that I wanted to feel as if I belonged to a family once more. Doing that to me stopped me from growing up with my brothers and sister and I know I have a niece and nephew, a nephew who shares the same name as me, so you can imagine what this did to me.”
Ryan took in a few more deep breaths and rubbed at his eyes which were stinging like crazy because he was desperately trying not to cry and then immediately felt terrible for having just rambled all of it out to Stacey, but then she did ask. He looked at Stacey again and gave her a sympathetic look, “I’m sorry I hit you with all of that but I didn’t see the point in holding it back from you, but like I said before, it’s really not fair to put it on you, I can just go to the social services, I mean you can’t deny that I’m his double.” Ryan gave a half laugh then knowing that to be true because of the amount of fans of Dominic who had stopped him in the street asking him for his autograph. It would take a lot of explaining before they would believe him, usually the whole telling them if they were a little bit older he might want to date them would do the trick, or some of them were just clever enough to work out that he wasn’t dressed in the typical Dominic style. Although he had naughtily used it to his advantage a few times when snaring girls at clubs. When they began to giggle telling their friends that they had got the gay Dominic to kiss them he would then put them right. Sometimes it got him a slap on the face for his troubles, but some of them would revel in being kissed by a Dominic look alike.
When Stacey said he could do away with the battery if he didn’t think she would need it Ryan nodded his head slightly. “You shouldn’t need it unless you wanted to claim one through your warranty but you have the new one now so really you shouldn’t have to keep it. I’ll just scrap it for you, no problem.” Ryan then lifted the old battery and carried it to his special scrap bin for parts which were no longer usable and put it inside and then proceeded to fit and test the new battery which proved to be working fine and he told her as much. Stacey thanked him and he gave her a smile, “No problem.” Well after his little trick earlier it was the least he could do. Stacey had then told him that he could call her Stacey because her full name was a bit of a mouthful which he couldn’t deny but he had told her that he actually liked the name as you didn’t hear it too often these days but he’d be honoured to call her Stacey. He saw the warm smile she gave him and he returned it and when she said she would be honoured to hear him say it, his warm smile turned more into a grin and then Stacey giggled making Ryan laugh along with her. No wonder Dominic had her as a friend, she was a lovely person and somehow Ryan felt that Dominic was lucky to have her in his life. “I’m glad Dominic has a friend like you in his life Stacey, we all need good friends.”
Ryan had then got into Stacey’s car and turned the key in the ignition making sure that the car would start which it did. He then let her know that she was basically good to go even though a part of him didn’t want to lose his only connection to his blood family so soon. Stacey then tried to hand him over a twenty dollar bill and Ryan just shook his head giving her a warm smile, “No Stacey I’m not taking it, I was doing this by way of an apology for earlier, really, its fine.” He then closed Stacey’s hand over so that she was holding the money in her clenched hand, not even thinking for one minute that Dominic usually acted the same way with her where gifts and money was concerned. But Ryan never went back on a word and he said he would fix the battery as an apology.
After Ryan had gone into the back to wash his hands after working on Stacey’s car he had come back out and asked if she wanted a coffee or something even though he knew that she would likely be desperate to get back to her child. When Stacey first began to answer he had a feeling that she was going to say no and really he couldn’t blame her she had every right to get back to her child after all and with the battery dying on her she was delayed in getting to her child already. He was about to say that it didn’t matter when she soon spoke again giving him a suggestion of having a coffee back at her house because she really wanted to collect Ebony. Ryan let out a low breath feeling slightly relieved that she hadn’t brushed him off completely as he was still hoping that she might be able to sort something for him with his blood family. “I totally understand you want to get Ebony and all I was going to do was go home and get ready to go out on the town to chat up girls.” He gave a small laugh then and coughed a little and then continued, “If I’m going to follow you to where you are collecting Ebony from, then I don’t see any reason why I then can’t come back to your house with you, that is if you really don’t mind. I admit it will be good to have a friend and not just because of the connection to Dominic. So yes, I’d love to have a coffee at your place and I finally get to see the beautiful girl that I have heard Dominic go on about in the media so much.”
