Thursday, 1st April, 2010 It had been just over a week since Dominic and Samuel had gone to the clinic with Dominic’s mom Francesca to see about getting a donated egg fertilised with his sperm and for his mom to hopefully carry the child for him and Sam. The day however took a rather surprising turn when after it was discovered that Dominic’s mom couldn’t carry two implanted eggs due to medical and legal reasons, a Geneticist by the name of Daniel Watson gave them something to think about. He suggested that he use his power of Genetic Manipulation to remove the current DNA from the egg and add in Sam’s. Of course they had asked questions about how safe it would be and once Daniel had clarified it was a safe procedure they all agreed to it.
Dominic’s mom was now officially pregnant with his and Sam’s first child and he couldn’t wait to share the magical moment of their baby’s birth with Sam and then every magical moment of raising their child together. Later that evening they had both gone out to a female strip bar not the usual thing for gays to do but Dom had never denied that he found the female body beautiful he just never really found himself attracted to them. However for Dom there had always been something rather sensual about watching a woman strip, not as sensual as watching Sam strip naturally but it hadn’t taken long for Dom to lead them to the gay bar although they had never got inside. Dom soon whipped them both back home with his ability to fly and soon enough they were in each other’s arms and making love.
After one love making session had finished Dom had declared that he wanted to marry Sam not really meaning for it to come out loud but he had been thinking about it moments before and had decided he wasn’t bothered that he had said it out loud and then confirmed that he wanted Sam to marry him. As usual Sam had to think about it but he eventually said yes making Dom the happiest he had been since the day he had met Sam. The past couple of weeks hadn’t been very busy. There had been a few interviews and photoshoots what with the release of his album previously on the fifteenth of March and the charity single which was also released on the same day.
Today while Sam was at work and after some thinking Dominic had decided that he wanted to book a surprise holiday for the both of them. The Easter break was coming up and he knew that Sam would have the time and he really wanted for the both of them to get away somewhere and really enjoy themselves. He had heard good things about this travel agency in Queens, New York and about this one particular travel agent called Kristy. Some of the other celebrities and friends had recommended the travel agent and Kristy to him. Part of him knew that it was ridiculous to travel all the way to New York for a travel agency but with his ability to physically fly himself there he didn’t think there was anything wrong with going to a recommended agency.
Dominic had no idea who she was of course, he didn’t have a photograph and the celebrities and friends who had recommended her didn’t exactly describe her. All he was told was that she was very helpful and very pretty. After landing discreetly in the street the travel agent was on he soon opened the door and walked in. He didn’t think to try and disguise himself but then Dom never usually bothered with his fans coming up to him but he hadn’t quite expected the people already talking to some agents to turn in his direction and just stare at him open mouthed. He just gave them a weak smile and fiddled with his ear slightly. He quickly scanned the agents and then decided to just speak up. “Good morning you beautiful people there wouldn’t be a girl called Kristy working today and if there is would she be free right now please?” The people who had turned to him just turned away again seeing that he was just being a normal person booking a holiday like the rest of them and despite his love for his fans he was quite grateful to them just giving him his own time for once.

Another day had started with Kristy doing her usual routine. First she would wake & take care of her own needs. Next she would wake her two year old daughter, Georgia, & make sure she had everything she would need to spend the day with her ‘grandparents’. After breakfast Kristy would then have to drive around the corner to her aunt & uncle’s - or what she liked to call her parent’s - apartment to drop Georgia off. Then it was off to work for 8 hours. It was the same thing every day, yet Kristy didn’t really mind or let it get to her. She still managed to find time to have fun & party with friends on her days off, so it really didn’t matter. The plus side of it all also was the fact that she loved her job. The small Queens branch of a New York travel agency she worked for may never have anything real interesting going on, but it always was a pleasure to be working in. Of course there was always the rare occasions where a celebrity would slip in asking for their help, but they usually used the main New York branch of the agency. That was unless they had heard good things about a particular worker at the Queens branch.
Of course when Kristy arrived at work today she never expected that she would be that lucky worker. She had just finished up with her last client before she would be able to slip off for a little lunch break when a familiar face entered the agency. Of course from Kristy’s desk she couldn’t quite see who it was, but judging from the reactions of everyone else in the agency, he was obviously famous. When he spoke her name Kristy sighed. She had been looking forward to her break. Being the nice person she was though, & since she loved helping people she just smiled politely before responding with a small wave so he would know where to go. “I would be Kristy. And I would happen to be free at the moment.”
When the man approached her desk, Kristy saw that he was a singer. She recognised him as one who had released an album in the last few weeks, although she couldn’t quite remember his name. He had some good songs, but she usually only ever heard them when she went out partying since the only songs she really ever played at home were children’s songs. She had a feeling it started with a ‘D’; but honestly other than that was having a mental blank. The only thing she could think of was that she was pretty sure he was gay; but then again she could have just been mixing up music artists in her head.
With a smile Kristy quickly cleared her desk of the brochures & catalogues she had out from her last client, placing them in a box below her desk to be put away properly later. In the process she knocked over the small picture she had of Georgia, which she quickly sat back up with a sigh. This really didn’t seem like it was her day for luck. “Sorry about that.” Kristy finally addressed her possible new client. “As you may already know, I’m Kristy Rose Lee one of the travel agents; or consultants if you like, here at the Queens branch of New York Travel. You can just call me Kristy if you wish.” Kristy said in her usual friendly, but professional tone; using her normal lines which she had to use to properly introduce herself, her position, & where the client was. She found it slightly pointless though, as surely the customer knew where they were & that they were speaking to a travel agent. Then in this instance, the man already knew at least the first half of her given name, so an introduction really was pointless. He even knew how to pronounce it properly too. Unlike many who called her Kirsty or Krissy instead. “How may I help you today Sir?” Kristy had everything she would need for whatever this new client wanted. Her computer was in front of her, & then there were plenty of brochures & catalogues available inside the agency. Some even designed by the workers here.

After Dominic had called out to Kristy only knowing her by her first name he continued to scan the area to see if she would make herself known or if he would find out that she wasn’t working that day or may well have been on a break. He then heard a voice begin to speak and he turned in the direction of the voice and saw the girl wave her hand stating that she would be Kristy and that she did happen to be free right then. Not that it would have bothered him if she hadn’t been working but somehow he felt a sense of relief wash over him when he saw that she was indeed working. He was a terrible one for spontaneous decisions and booking this holiday for the Easter week the day before Good Friday was taking a huge risk as there might not be anything available but he was going to do his best anyway. He just felt that after everything they had been through together in their relatively short time together that they needed a decent break away. Dominic gave Kristy a bright smile and put his hand to his forehead in his typical drama queen style and flicking his hair, “Oh thank goodness you’re here sugar, you have no idea how far I’ve travelled to book a holiday.” He then walked toward the desk she was at and waving his hands about as he continued to talk, “I know you will find it ludicrous that I travelled so far but I had heard such good things about this travel agency and you in particular Kristy.”
He had reached the desk by this time and sat down on the chair opposite Kristy and gave her another bright smile and as he sat he watched as she cleared her desk away which he could only assume was from the previous customer she had been dealing with and in the process had knocked over a photograph. Not that Dominic was the type to be nosey but he couldn’t help but look at it as she picked it up and placed it back where it belonged and then apologised. Dom waved his hand a little and shook his head with a smile, “No need for apologies sugar, she is such a little cutie I’m going to take a guess that she’s yours?” He didn’t know why he was talking to her like he knew her already but it was good to hold a conversation instead of having a deathly silence around you. ”My partner and I are going to become parents you know, it was just confirmed that my mom is pregnant; she’s being the vessel for us and carrying our child. Oh My God we’re so excited like you wouldn’t believe.”
Again Dom didn’t know why he had just told her that but with her knocking over the photograph of a young child it just seemed to come rolling off his tongue with ease. It made him wonder how Beth would look at that age as she sure was a little stunner at sixteen when she had come from the future to stop him from being involved in a nasty plane accident. Kristy then went about formally introducing herself and now Dom had her full name he had to smile as he heard it. He knew that it must have been how they were told to address potential clients but it did seem funny to hear her tell him who she was and where he was when he had already asked for her by name and was in the shop and knew exactly where he was. However Dom wasn’t one to make a mock of anybody and it was more than likely the way they were all told to greet new clients so he just continued to smile until she finished by asking how she might be able to help him today calling him Sir, which again would be another formality of the job description.
“Well firstly sugar, you can call me Dominic, Sir just sounds so formal and I know that is the way you are supposed to greet clients, I just would like for you to hopefully feel more comfortable around me so Dominic will be just great thanks and my aren’t you just a doll?” He said and gave her another smile as he knew that he was going to have to start telling her why he was there. “Well I know it might be a bit of a rush but since I have heard such good things about this place and you as I said earlier, that I have every faith in you that you can make it happen. So I was wondering if there was any possibility at all in helping me get a holiday booked for the Easter week, I was thinking about leaving on the Saturday through to the Saturday and I was thinking Hawaii. I am terribly sorry but I often have these spontaneous ideas and booking a holiday for my partner and I for his week off from teaching was one of them.”

Kristy smiled at the man when he first approached her, listening to what he said as he packed away the brochures & catalogues. “You did? Well we always try to help to the best of our ability, if not more.” She responded when he said he had heard such good things about her & the agency. “You would be surprised how far many travel just to use a travel agent actually. Many come from right around America, even some from Canada actually.” Kristy wasn’t sure why she was being so truthful, it almost sounded like she was trying to impress the guy. That was stupid though, as obviously to have come all this way he had to already be impressed by what he had heard about the agency.
The man sat down opposite her, without having to be told to. Something that made Kristy smile even more. Often she would have to tell people to actually take a seat. This was no normal client though. He was famous, & clearly willing to travel a long way to get what he wanted. Being famous he probably travelled around a bit too. So it made sense that he would be able to make himself comfortable in a new place straight away. One thing she picked up on about him that made her slightly uncomfortable was that he called her sugar. She just wasn’t used to being called sugar or anything like that. Kristy simply nodded when he guessed the kid in the picture was hers, not sure if she should reveal anything about herself to this man she didn’t even know. Yet then he shared some information about himself, which made that uncertainty leave her. “That’s really nice of your mother to do that for you. I’m sure there isn’t many around who would be willing to carry a child for their own child. Congratulations.”
“My daughter just recently turned two, so sometimes she only appears to be cute. But really children; having a child, well it is a wonderful experience. I can imagine how excited both you & your partner are.” Of course Kristy herself hadn’t had a lot of excitement when she had first found out she was pregnant. Not when her relationship with Jackson broke apart over it, & she really had no idea what to do. But both her Aunt & Uncle were so kind & helpful they helped her thought everything. Then once Georgia was born, well Kristy had never been happier.
It was after she introduced herself that Kristy finally remembered who he was. As soon as he said his first name it dawned on her. He was the singer Dominic Salvatore. It took her a second to respond to Dominic though, as him calling her a doll caused her to pause. She could feel that she was blushing slightly. “Well..Dominic I will do anything for a client to help them. But yes we are meant to remain formal unless the client requests otherwise. One of the minor drawbacks of the job.” Kristy smiled, again using more honesty that she had no idea where came from.
Kristy sat patiently listening to Dominic’s plans. He was right, it was a bit of a rush; yet Kristy was sure there would be something available. “No need to apologise. Booking last minute holidays is just part of our job.” Kristy reassured before getting down to business. “Well Hawaii does involve a plane trip, which I may have some trouble in organising last minute. However I am sure we can find something.” Kristy quickly typed around on her keyboard so that she could get up some last minute flight deals on her screen. “Unless you have another way of getting there?” Kristy had no idea what resources someone with Dominic’s money & fame would have. For all she knew he had his own private jet that would be able to take him there. Really she didn’t even have a clue how he had come to be here in Queens on such short notice. Being Good Friday it would have been hard to get a flight.
“Hawaii would be a wonderful place for you & your partner to get away to. What with it’s natural beauty, warm tropical climate, & inviting water. Was there any particular thing you were thinking of doing in Hawaii or any particular area? We would have information here on all 6 of the islands if you would like to see it.”

When Dominic had started general conversation with Kristy saying that he had travelled so far to book the holiday he had to smile as she responded to that basically telling him he would be surprised at how many travelled so far for a travel agent. If he didn’t know any better he would have sworn she was trying to impress him and yet he was already so impressed by what he had heard that this was the reason why he was in that particular travel agency in the first place. Dom gave her another smile, a warm one this time and nodded his head, ”I can just imagine sugar.” He replied and then wondered if he should ask if she was bothered by his use of the word. Dom was just so used to calling all the females around him sugar or sister that he sometimes forgets that not all women when meeting them for the first time will appreciate his use of the word.
However it soon slipped his mind when he saw that she had knocked over the photograph on her desk and as she had picked it up asked if the girl in the photo was her own daughter. He watched as Kristy just nodded her head and didn’t elaborate on it. Dom was usually pretty good at knowing when a person did or didn’t want to talk about a particular subject so he didn’t press the matter further instead telling her about what his mother was going to do for him and his partner. Kristy replied saying that it was nice of his mother to do that for him and congratulated him. Of course whenever it came to talking about Sam or their future child knowing already what she looked like at the age of sixteen, he always got excited. He put his hand up to his head slightly and giggled a little, ”Oh My God I know, I couldn’t believe it when she suggested it sugar and thank you.” Then he remembered that he was going to ask her about that, “I’ve just realised that I’m talking to you like I’ve known you for years, if the use of the word sugar offends you I can easily stop it, I’m just so used to calling my female friends and family that or sister that I often say it without thinking now.” Then he leant forward and continued, ”Between you and me the men get called darling.” He winked at her a little and giggled again before leaning back in his seat.
Kristy then volunteered some information about her daughter and Dominic again gave her a bright smile as they were talking children, which recently had become his favourite topic to talk about. He nodded his head as she spoke about her child only sometimes appears to be cute, he had heard it all from his own mother about the ‘terrible twos’ obviously his mother had gone through it three times and so she was an expert. It did make him wonder if Beth would be the same at that age. ”I believe it is a wonderful experience, of course never being the pregnant one I will never know the exact experience, but I know how I feel about the fact that Sam and I will have our own biological daughter.” Dom then bit on his bottom lip slightly as surely Kristy would pick up on the biological daughter part and wonder how it was possible. Sometimes even he didn’t believe it to be possible and yet it was true, his mom was carrying their biological daughter. Then she would wonder how he knew they were going to have a girl. He mentally slapped himself knowing that he had to be careful about the things he openly said.
Although Evolved Humans were no longer as secret as they once were he didn’t know how much Kristy knew about them and if she did know about them, what she thought of them. Not all humans liked the Evolved Humans for their own reasons, mostly jealousy because they wanted to know why they couldn’t be special. Dom never saw it as being special even though he did like his powers, he saw it himself as being different and he didn’t always like that. When Dominic had made the comment about Kristy being a such a doll he noticed her blush slightly but not one to play on that, unless it was someone really close to him, like Stace, he let it go and smiled as she responded calling him Dominic and adding that they were meant to remain formal unless requested otherwise. He gave her a slight nod of the head and smiled some more, there was no need for any more words at that point, as he had requested that she call him Dominic and she had.
Dom then began to explain why he was there apologising for it being all rather last minute. When Kristy responded to this telling him not to apologise and that booking last minute holidays was a part of their job he nodded his head again and smiled before replying with, ”Maybe but I imagine your job to be a lot less stress free without these last minute people, such as myself.” He coughed behind his hand a couple of times in a slight teasing way, but actually meaning what he said at the same time. Dom then listened as Kristy spoke about his destination choice adding that finding a last minute plane might prove difficult. Dom knew if need be he could physically fly him and Sam to their holiday destination, but then there was the luggage to contend with. So there was only one other option left, before he got a chance to say anything though Kristy spoke again asking if he had any other way of getting there. ”If it is going to be difficult to get a last minute flight then I can see about using my manager’s private jet and pilot to fly us there if you can find us a hotel, the best one you can find that is available, all inclusive if possible.” Dominic replied hoping this would help Kristy to be able to get something organised for them.
Kristy then spoke more about the destination itself and Dom nodded his head a few times as he listened to her speak, to acknowledge that he was taking in what she was saying. When she asked if he wanted to see information on all six of the islands, ”Well I was already thinking of Oahu which I believe to be the most popular island of them all, so if you could find anywhere available there that would be awesome. I have this funny feeling that we might not venture out much, so anything we may want to do extra will likely be discussed and booked while there.” Dominic replied and gave Kristy a warm smile and this time felt his own face flush slightly considering he had just more or less told the girl that he and Sam would more than likely be indoors making love most of the time.

Kristy just nodded when Dominic mentioned that he could imagine how far people were willing to travel to see a travel agent. Since he was one of the ones who had travelled, of course he would be able to understand & imagine why people would do that. Kristy herself found it slightly amusing, but appreciated that people were willing to do that. Especially when it meant that she got to help more people out.
She couldn’t help but laugh a little when Dominic said he couldn’t believe it when his mother suggested that she could carry his child. “Well some parents will do anything for their children.” This was something Kristy could relate to, she honestly would do anything for Georgia, & she was only two. Kristy wasn’t sure how to respond when he commented on how he kept calling her sugar; however she laughed when he mentioned that the men got called darling. “Well honestly I don’t care, it’s just not something I am used to.” She said after a moment.
When Kristy had mentioned her daughter’s age & how she was only sometimes cute, she had no idea if Dominic would be able to understand what she was talking about. However he never commented on that, only the experience of it all so Kristy decided it best to not explain about the ‘terrible twos’ or anything. “Well of course, but maybe one day they will make it so you can experience the actual pregnancy.” Kristy joked, wondering how many females would love for a male to go through the pregnancy for a change. “Just having a child will still be a wonderful thing for you both, & I am sure you will experience parts of the pregnancy when you are around your mother anyway.” Kristy hadn’t missed the fact that Dominic had mentioned that it was the biological daughter, but she wasn’t sure if it was her place to ask what he meant by that. “You know it will be a girl already? I never wanted to find out the gender when I had my daughter.” Kristy was sure that Dominic had said that his mother had only just been confirmed, but for him to know it was a girl the pregnancy would have to be in the second trimester. However she resisted asking how far into the pregnancy his mother was, since it really wasn’t her business.
After the general conversations changed to a discussion more work related & of Dominic’s plans Kristy felt more at ease. It was a lot easier to do her job than to wonder what she should or shouldn’t ask him about his daughter. No matter how interesting it sounded. “Well stress is just a part of life. Even without trying to make last minute bookings.” Kristy responded, slightly joking, unsure if Dominic had been joking or serious in his comment about her job being a lot less stress free without last minute people.
Looking at the flight details for Hawaiian Airlines Kristy found that there was room for exactly two more passengers on a flight to the Honolulu International Airport leaving from the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon. She had remembered reading somewhere that Dominic lived somewhere in Nevada, which is why she was looking at information for one of the major airports in that state. “Well it seems that there may be no need for your manager’s privet jet as there is room on one flight leaving on Saturday afternoon. It leaves at 5pm, so you would get there around 7pm when you take in the 3 hour time difference.” Kristy said, quickly having to work out the time of arrival for the five hour flight since the site only told her that it would be 10pm in Las Vegas upon arrival which wasn’t useful. “I can print out the flight details for you to look at, & then if you are happy with that I can book it for you.” Kristy said, telling her computer to print even before waiting for Dominic to respond.
While Dominic looked over the flight information she had printed out for him, Kristy looked up what she knew to be one of the more popular resorts on the island Dominic had been thinking about - Oahu. “Well there is the Kahala Hotel & Resort which has both luxury & space in their suites. You can choose from Partial Ocean View Suites, Ocean Front Suites, Kahala Kai Suite, Kahala Beach Suite, or the Presidential Suite.” Kristy said, reading the information from the website, after finding that there were a number of rooms still available there. “It also offers direct beach access if you choose to leave your room.” Kristy commented, referring to Dominic’s comment about them not leaving the room much. What her clients did on their holidays wasn’t really her business, although it did make her job easier since she wouldn’t have to find any available activities for them. Kristy then turned her computer around so that Dominic would be able to read about the resort & rooms himself. “Have a look, & if you like what you see we can have a look at the pricing & see about booking a room for you.” OOC: I will be nice & provide a link to that hotel & resort www.kahalaresort.com/

When Kristy made the comment that some parents will do anything for their children he couldn’t help but smile warmly at her. He knew that to be true and not just because of what his mom was doing for him and Sam now, but because of how his whole family had reacted when he announced that he was gay. Of course it had turned out that he didn’t even have to tell them, they had already figured it out. Well when you steal your mom and sister’s eyeliner to wear it was probably only inevitable they would have figured it out. “Yes, I believe that to be true.” Dom answered Kristy but then for a very brief second thought of Sam and how his parents hadn’t taken the news very well of his sexuality and he still wished that he or his mom could talk to them and see if they could bring them round because Dom didn’t know what he would do if his family hadn’t accepted him for who he was. However his family had made it clear to Sam that they accepted him as a part of their family already and Dom knew it meant it a lot to Sam.
When Dom had explained his reason for the use of the word sugar adding that he calls men darling he heard Kristy laugh which made Dom giggle a little but when Kristy answered saying that she honestly didn’t care but it wasn’t something she was used to Dom nodded his head smiling at her but then couldn’t help the next words that came out of his mouth, despite being gay as it’s been mentioned before a few times Dom could appreciate a good looking woman when he saw one, he just didn’t get hot sensations rippling through him looking at them the way looking at men did, well the way looking at Sam did to be more precise. “Well you know sugar, I actually think that’s a shame, someone as gorgeous as you should be getting those kinds of words said to you frequently by the love of your life.” Of course Dom had no idea if Kristy was in a relationship or not, he never made assumptions despite the fact that there was a framed photo of a young girl on her desk, it didn’t mean that she was in a relationship but it also didn’t mean she was single either.
When Kristy joked about making it possible for a man to have the experience of pregnancy Dom had to giggle slightly and then nodded his head. Somehow that idea didn’t exactly repulse him as he had sometimes wondered what it must be like for the pregnant woman to feel that life growing inside of them. However the only drawback to it would be where the hell would the baby come out of the guy? Maybe they would do a Caesarean Section delivery. Dom realised he hadn’t said anything yet, “You know that might not sound as bad as you think, I’ve heard my mom say to my dad a lot ‘if only men went through it, they would know all about it’, I actually don’t think it would be a bad thing for a guy to experience it.” Dom said being completely honest with Kristy after all he was just as excited about the fact his mom was pregnant with his child than any expecting mother would be. Sometimes he even felt like he was the one who was pregnant and then had to laugh it off realising how silly that sounded. Kristy had then said that it would still be a wonderful thing for them both and that he would experience parts of the pregnancy by being around his mom anyway. Dom nodded his head again and smiled brightly, “That’s true, and she’s already said that she’s dragging us both to every scan and birthing class with her, I’m actually really excited about that you know sugar.”
Dom was desperately trying to cut back on his use of the word sugar but it just seemed that it wasn’t really that easy for some reason it just seemed so easy to talk to Kristy and the word kept slipping out, it really was like he had known Kristy for years. It began to make him wonder if it would actually be possible to have another best friend who was a girl; after all he just adored Stace. Of course Dom had then slipped up by mentioning their child was going to be a girl and naturally Kristy questioned that, with her having a child of her own she would know that it was impossible to determine the sex of the foetus so early on. Dom looked down for a second and bit on his bottom lip slightly and thought what harm would it do to tell her, they were talking so easily anyway.
He looked back up slowly and leant in and said in a soft voice, “Well I don’t know how much you know about the ‘different people’ living among us.” He used his fingers for quotation marks when saying the words different people, “But I’m one myself, and well I know we’re having a girl because our daughter came to us from the future. She actually stopped me from getting on a flight that was going to crash land into the terminal and cause me to be paralysed. Her name is Bethany and when she first approached me to stop me she didn’t say who she was but I knew there was just something about her, she looked so much like my sister Lianda you know but it soon came out and well I couldn’t quite believe we had a daughter who was so, well gorgeous at sixteen.” Dom explained to Kristy but leaving out the part about how she would be their biological daughter knowing that although it was something they were working on it wasn’t a legal procedure yet, thank goodness for a doctor with genetic manipulation.
When Dom had mentioned that her job may be more stress free without last minute people such as himself he had been serious but added a slight touch of humour to it also by coughing a couple of times behind his hand. Kristy replied saying that stress was just a part of life without having to make last minute bookings. “Well I can understand that one, my own job is rather stressful at times as much as I love it and absolutely adore my fans. I was sort of serious though; I have so many people thinking that because I’m a singer that I’m diva style, but really I’m anything but, I just sometimes have these spontaneous ideas which don’t always bode well for the people on the receiving end of them.” Of course he was referring to Kristy having to try and book him this last minute holiday but still having it on good word how good this travel agency was and how good Kristy was he still had every faith in her that she would be able to help him.
When talk of flights came into the conversation Dom had said that if need be he could get his manager’s private jet to take them to their destination when Kristy spoke shortly after saying that there might be no need for the private jet as there was room on a flight leaving on the Saturday afternoon and then explained about when they would arrive taking into consideration the time difference. Kristy then said she could print out the flight details and if he was happy she could book it for him. Dom nodded his head and smiled at her warmly, “That would be wonderful thanks.” Dom replied although he could see that the printer was already printing off the flight details. He soon looked them over and everything seemed fine with it. “Those flight times are perfect, so just go ahead and book it for us thanks sugar.” Dom replied and then realised he had used the word again; it was just so difficult not to say that word sugar to her.
Dom had then mentioned about going to the main island of Oahu knowing it to be the most popular for holiday destinations. Soon enough Kristy was back into her work mode and started to talk about the Kahala Hotel & Resort and then explained about different views they could have also. It sounded so dreamy thought Dom. Hawaii was one place he had always wanted to go but hadn’t and now he was going to go and share it with the man who meant everything to him. Eventually Kristy told him to have a look and see and if he likes what he sees they can look at pricing and booking a room for him. Well price wouldn’t be an issue as it had been made known to Stace often enough that he was more than comfortably well off. Kristy then turned the computer round for him to have a look at the resort she had mentioned. “Thanks sugar.” He said and bit on his bottom lip again, he really did have to stop using that word on people he didn’t know so well.
He looked at the screen and glanced at the different suites available and could see that it really wouldn’t matter what one he chose they all looked awesome to him but he did settle on one of them. “I think I’ll go for the Kahala Beach Suite thanks Kristy, looking at the pictures it just looks like our sort of style, in fact it looks absolutely gorgeous.” Dom replied and then sat back again as he waited for Kristy to turn the monitor back around and do what was necessary to find prices and actually book the holiday. {ooc - thanks for the link Chelle }

Kristy just smiled when Dominic agreed with her about parents doing anything for their children. Of course Kristy knew that there were also some parents out there who abandon their children for the littlest things, & even some who would abuse them. Both things completely confused Kristy. She couldn’t imagine how anyone could hurt their own child like that.
When Dominic complemented her, saying she should get called words like sugar all the time, Kristy could feel herself blush. It was funny how he could still make her blush, despite the fact that Kristy knew there was no way he actually considered her gorgeous. He was probably appreciating her as she could appreciate another woman. Just because she could admire something about another woman didn’t mean she had any interest there. “Well..thank you. I guess having a young daughter to care for has prevented me from finding the love of my life though.” Kristy responded, unsure why she shared the fact that she was single with Dominic.
At Dominic’s response to her comment about males experiencing the pregnancy for a change Kristy had to laugh. “Oh I’m sure your mother isn’t the only one who has said that to her husband or partner.” Kristy then thought of how she didn’t have that. She had experienced the pregnancy & labour on her own, without a male there to complain to. Well unless you counted her uncle, but that was different. Smiling Kristy nodded when Dominic said his mother was dragging both Dominic & his partner to all scans & birthing classes. “Those all will be great experiences for you, & are great times for you to experience the pregnancy with your mother.” Kristy laughed when he mentioned that he was really excited about it. “Well of course you are excited about it. You’re having a baby, who wouldn’t be excited about that?” Kristy asked a rhetorical question that she knew the answer to. Without Jackson, Kristy had had her worries about how she was going to manage to raise a child on her own. But eventually she had gotten passed that, & when the baby came she was happy. From the moment she saw her baby daughter Kristy had known that she would be able to do it, & that she had made the right decision to keep the child. The now, Kristy doesn’t know what she would do if something ever happened to Georgia.
After Kristy had commented about Dominic knowing his child would be a girl, she saw him bite his lip & wondered if she had said too much. She hadn’t wanted to or meant to pry into any part of Dominic’s private life. Kristy listened to his story, without interrupting, & basically expressionless. Kristy had a belief that every living thing - humans & animals - deserved to be treated the same. The fact that Dominic was gay made him no different to anyone else Kristy knew, so this information about him being one of the ‘different people’ in the world also made no difference to her. “Well thank goodness she was able to come here & save you from that.” Kristy responded to his explanation on how he knew his child was a girl, saying nothing in response to him having ‘special abilities’. “Bethany is a pretty name.” She also commented. She hoped that Dominic would be able to tell that she didn’t care if someone had those ‘special abilities’ & wasn’t about to judge him or anything over it.
Kristy laughed & waved her hand in dismissal when Dominic said he had been serious about her job being a lot less stress free without last minute people like himself. “Honestly I don’t mind helping, even at the last minute.” She then responded to his comments about his own job. “People really shouldn’t judge or make assumptions about others without knowing all the facts. It’s not like actions like that will get them anywhere.” What Kristy said was her honest opinion & something that she felt strongly about, but she said it casually as if it was just a small thing in response to what Dominic had said.
After telling Dominic about the pane details she printed off the information & reached over to the printer so she could give him the information to look over. When he was done & said that she could book it Kristy fiddled around on her computer before responding. “There we go. I will just print off the confirmation details for you now so you know when to be there & can remember when the flight is.” Kristy smiled, pressing print on her computer. She had noticed that Dominic had yet again called her sugar. She was beginning to wonder if it was one of those hard habits to break. Not that she minded really. Even in this short amount of time, she had actually gotten used to it. After handing him his plane travel confirmation details, Kristy then began to tell him about the hotel she had looked up. The Kahala Hotel & Resort came highly recommended, & she had helped book many others accommodations there. Secretly sometimes she wished she was booking it for herself though. But then she came back to reality, remembering how she would never be able to afford it.
When Dominic had finished looking over the website, Kristy took the computer back & began to do what she had to to book his holiday. “One thing about Kahala Hotel & Resort is they provide the option to enhance your stay. You can choose to have them collect you from the airport, then return you when you are leaving. You could also have chocolate macadamia nuts or champagne & strawberries if you wish.” Kristy said, looking over the details on her screen. “Well really you could have all three things if you want.” Kristy giggled. Glancing at the price Kristy then told Dominic of the cost, without anything added. “Although the current price is $7175 & those all will be at an additional cost.” Kristy then stopped talking, allowing time for Dominic to process that & decide on what he wanted. OOC: Your welcome. I may have made up that price by the way. I couldn't find the real price .

{ooc - dear god I am so sorry to take so long to reply, I just haven't had a good month at all, hope I don't take this long again and that's okay about the price lol} When Dominic had paid a compliment to Kristy he saw her blush slightly and all he could do was smile as he wasn’t the type to play up on someone he didn’t know too well blushing at anything he would say. Of course Dominic wasn’t or shouldn’t be the type of guy to make a woman blush but he could most definitely appreciate a woman and he knew when they were beautiful, he just didn’t want to be with one and Kristy was indeed beautiful and he was surprised when she replied and said that having a young daughter to care for had prevented her from finding the love of her life. Dominic put his hand up to his heart then in a rather dramatic style, “Oh sug...Kristy that breaks my heart so, which man in his own right could not love you and your precious little girl?” He leant in a little bit and then continued, “I reckon you haven’t found the love of your life yet because no one has been good enough yet, but you will, I can feel it in my heart.” Dominic then gave Kristy another warm smile and dropped his hand from over his heart.
Dominic had to giggle a little when Kristy replied saying that she was sure his mother wasn’t the only woman who had said to their husband or partner about them experiencing pregnancy he knew that to be true as even his sister Lianda had told her husband with both of her pregnancies that she wished he could go through what she went through. Dominic had then added this his mother would be dragging him and his partner to all the scans and birthing classes he had to smile warmly and nod his head when Kristy said that they would be great experiences for him. Then Dominic had gone into his usual flamboyant style and spoke of how excited he was and he heard Kristy laugh a little which made Dominic giggle again. When Kristy spoke she asked why wouldn’t he be excited as he was going to have a baby and who wouldn’t be excited about that. Dominic nodded his head and smiled warmly at Kristy again, “That is very true; I couldn’t begin to imagine anybody not being excited unless it was an unexpected pregnancy of course.”
Dom wasn’t silly he knew that there were many girls who got pregnant by accident and weren’t excited about it, but for the most part he couldn’t see a reason not to be happy or excited about having a baby. For Dom and Sam it was even more so because of the lengths they had to go to, to make their dream possible.
When Dominic had slipped up and spoke of having a girl he had then for no other reason than finding Kristy easy to talk to told her pretty much everything. That he had abilities and that his daughter had come from the future to save him. When he was finished he smiled as Kristy said thank goodness she had been able to save him from the disaster and added that Bethany was a pretty name. The way she spoke it to Dominic about what he had told her it was as if it had no effect on her whatsoever and he actually liked that, as much as he could like his abilities, he quite often hated to be treated as differently. “Yes, thank goodness and thank you, Bethany has always been a name I liked in a girl, so guess that’s why she got that name.” Dom replied and then giggled a little.
When Dominic had said he was serious about her job being less stressful without last minute people like him he soon saw her wave her hand in dismissal and laughed saying she didn’t mind helping, even at the last minute. Dom just gave her a bright smile, “Thanks Kristy.” There was no need for anything else to be said at that point. When Dom spoke more about his job and how some people thought he was a bit of a diva he had to smile as Kristy replied saying that people shouldn’t judge or make assumptions on people without knowing all the facts. “It’s nice to hear you speak like that Kristy, thank you and I seriously wished everyone had the same opinion then they might get the right facts on who I really am and what I’m really like.” Dom replied in quite a strong voice, for as much as he could be girlie with being gay, he could be just as strong and manly when he wanted to be especially when it came to people not knowing the real him and protecting his friends and family.
After Dom had told Kristy to go ahead and book the details for the trip he watched as she confirmed the booking she had previously printed the details of for him to look at and then she spoke saying that it was done and she would just print off the confirmation details for him. Dom nodded his head and smiled at her again, he seemed to be doing that a lot, she just seemed so easy to talk to and he liked that with people. He had done one of those Meet & Greet with fans at a few of the shows and he always felt more comfortable with the fans who could be themselves with him, those who flailed and didn’t speak made him really nervous. “That’s great; I can’t thank you enough for being able to get something for me at such short notice.” Although with the glowing reports he had heard of this travel agency and Kristy in particular he had doubt in his mind that she would be able to get him sorted with something and she did.
The next thing was the accommodation and Kristy had shown him a resort on the screen and said that he would go with it Kristy soon turned the screen back around toward herself and began to talk again about the resort telling him about additions he could have adding that he could have all three. Well he wanted this to be a great trip for both him and Sam, so why not go all out. He was about to respond when Kristy spoke some more giving a price and then saying that it was without the additions. Dom knew that the trip to Hawaii would be a costly one and he could well afford it. “You know something sug...I really am sorry it’s so awful for me to keep doing that I am trying not to, I think all three of those additions would be awesome, I really want to treat my partner.” Dom said with a huge grin, it was mostly going to be in celebration of his mom being officially pregnant with his and Sam’s first child and besides Sam worked hard at his job as a teacher, not that Dom’s job wasn’t difficult, it could be, but he could also have a lot more days to himself when he wanted than Sam could have.
Kristy had been so helpful that he knew that he wouldn’t leave here without giving her a very generous tip and he wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Dominic was really nice. Even from this short meeting Kristy could tell that. She had no idea why she told him personal things about her life, yet she did. It may have seemed strange that she could blush over his words, considering who he was, but really Kristy often found herself blushing easily over the littlest things. Smiling, Kristy nodded. “Yes I would agree with that. One day I will find someone who is right & able to love both me & my little girl.”
Kristy heard herself gasp slightly when Dominic responded about unexpected pregnancies causing someone to not be excited about a pregnancy. Of course he would have no way of knowing that that was what had happened to her. The gasp had just been an unconscious reaction. “Well yes. Unplanned & unexpected could cause less excitement. But in your case that was far from what happened. You would have had to go through a lot to be able to get this far. I wish both you & your partner all the best both together & with your child.” Kristy babbled slightly, hoping to cover up her reaction. Despite anything she had been sharing with Dominic, some things were best to keep private - & the circumstances behind her pregnancy were included in that.
Nodding, Kristy smiled when Dominic said Bethany had always been a name he liked. “Well that is a good reason to give her that name.” Kristy thought about where she had gotten her own daughter’s name from. When she held her baby in her arms, she thought about how she wished her mother could have been there for that moment, & how she missed them. Then in honour of her parents, she had chosen a name similar to her mother’s. The name had just seemed to fit perfectly.
When Dominic responded to her comment about how people shouldn’t judge others, Kristy could see that there was another side of Dominic than just a diva or some flamboyant gay, so she could understand what he was talking about. “The world could be a better place if people took the time to get to know each other, instead of making assumptions. Too bad that will sadly never happen though. Well at least not in our lifetime.”
Kristy laughed when Dominic said he couldn’t thank her enough. “Oh trust me; it is not me who needs to be thanked. Thank the flights for having seats available still.” Kristy smiled; knowing really all she was doing was knowing where to look & knowing what to type in. The rest had all been up to luck. Dominic had just been really lucky that there were seats available. Hopefully he would be just as lucky when it came to making him some hotel reservations.
The luck on Dominic’s side had provided him with some vacancies at the first place Kristy looked at. After he chose a room, Kristy went through the details with him. Smiling when Dominic said he would take all three enhancements to his stay, Kristy nodded ticking all the boxes. “There we go. The total cost is now $7570, which you will pay when you checkout. Also, you calling me sugar is fine. I think I’m getting used to it anyway.” Kristy then printed off the booking confirmation details & handed them to Dominic. “That is everything you will need to check in. I do hope both you & your partner enjoy your trip. Is there anything else I can help you with?” OOC: That's fine. I haven't exactly been in the best condition either. Sorry this is such a short reply.

When Kristy replied to Dominic saying that she agreed and that one day she will find someone who is right and love both her and her little girl Dominic could only smile warmly and nodded his head knowing that to be true. Dominic was a great believer in there being someone out there for everyone it just took some longer to find their life partner than it did for others. “I know you will sugar.” He finally replied and then thought to himself damn it, I’ve done it again and looked down briefly and bit his bottom lip. Usually when he felt someone wasn’t comfortable with his words, like calling men darling, he was usually good at being able to stop it, but somehow with Kristy and the word sugar he was just finding it very difficult not to use it, he was just so used to it with Stace.
When Dominic had made the comment about unplanned pregnancies not causing as much excitement he was sure he had heard a slight gasp coming from Kristy what with his hearing being far more advanced due to his superhuman ability but if there was a reason for that gasp then it wasn’t any of Dominic’s business and so he didn’t react to it, instead listening to what Kristy had to say to what he had said. He couldn’t help but smile when she said that in his case that wasn’t what happened, obviously it was planned what with his mom agreeing to carry the child for him, and then having to choose the donated egg. It was a long process to get to the point where they were at sure, but maybe not as long a process as it could have been. Kristy then said that she wished him and Sam all the best together and with their child. “Thank you Kristy that means a lot to me, I’ve been broody for a couple of years now, so yes it’s such good news.”
When Dominic had said that he always liked the name Bethany and that was probably why she got given the name he had to smile at Kristy’s response when she replied saying that it was a good reason to give her that name. Then thinking about her full name what with Anastacia being Bethany’s middle name made him smile all the more but decided not to elaborate on it further not wanting to bore Kristy with more details of his future daughter and her name. He knew that he would have asked Stace to be Bethany’s godmother because when they had gone to choose the donated egg it was the very thought that had gone through his head.
They had then begun to talk about how people shouldn’t judge others and after Dominic’s comments about it he had to nod his head slightly as he listened to what else Kristy has to say on the subject. What Kristy said was true; nothing would change at least not in their lifetime sad as it was to admit. “That is so true Kristy but it would be nice for it to happen in our lifetime.” The world was full of people who judged and full of homophobic attitudes, sure there were nice people out there who didn’t give a damn about it, but it was all this hype over gay and lesbian couples not being allowed to get married that really infuriated him. He honestly couldn’t see what difference it made, they were all human just the same.
Once the flights were booked and Dominic had thanked Kristy he had to giggle slightly and bite on his bottom lip as she replied saying that she wasn’t the one that needed to be thanked he should be thanking the flights for having seats still available. “Maybe but you’re the one who has found them, so that warrants you a thank you in my eyes sug...Kristy.” He almost done it again, why was it so difficult not to call her sugar? He gave her a warm smile then. Dominic knew that if he wanted to book a surprise holiday for him and Sam again at any time he would definitely come back here but he would also make sure he gave more notice so that there would be hopefully no pressure on finding flights or hotel reservations.
Once Dominic had said that he would take all three enhancements to their stay he watched as Kristy obviously added those details to the reservation and then she spoke again telling him that it was done and confirming the price to him adding that he would pay it when he checked out. Kristy then said that it was fine for him to call her sugar as she was getting used to it anyway. Dominic blushed slightly at that, “Thank you again for being able to find flights and reservations at such short notice and thank you, I don’t know why I’m finding it so difficult not to call you sugar, sugar.” The double word sugar was intended and Dominic let out a bit of a giggle then. Dominic then watched as Kristy printed off the obvious booking details and handed them to him saying that it was what he would need for checking in and adding that she hoped Dominic and his partner would enjoy their trip asking if there was anything else she could help him with.
Dominic took the printed details from Kristy, “Thank you Kristy sugar.” Then he gave her a warm smile as it was definitely more comfortable for him not to have to think about not calling her sugar. He tried to think if there was anything else she could help him with, but he didn’t think so. “Not right at this moment Kristy sugar, although I think I will be coming here again to book my next holiday, the rumours I heard were most definitely true.” Dominic replied and gave her a warm smile and then had a thought, he really did only have Stace as a friend other than his band members and dancers and his manager and his daughter, “Although, if you think you could put up with a flamboyant gay who has a habit of calling you sugar from time to time, despite the distance, it might be nice to meet up every now and then, I don’t know about you sugar but I just love having friends.” Dominic said and gave her a smile before going into his wallet and bringing out a fifty dollar bill note and slipping it across the table to her.
“I don’t want any refusals as I would be hurt if you didn’t take it, I would like you to have it as a tip for being able to sort me out at the last minute, despite your protests on it being down to the flights having seats still available.” He wasn’t sure what Kristy would think to that, but it wasn’t like he couldn’t afford it, mind you if she was anything like Stace she probably would try to refuse it, but then he would just insist she took it saying to treat her daughter then.

Kristy, of course, had no way of knowing that it was impossible for Dominic to not have heard her gasp. However she could be relieved when he never reacted or mentioned it. When Dominic responded to what Kristy had gone on about in her attempt to cover her gasp up, Kristy smiled back at him. “Well your welcome then. It is more than just good news, it is wonderful news.” Kristy giggled slightly, in some ways sharing Dominic’s happiness & excitement over ‘his’ pregnancy.
When they then went on to talk about how people shouldn’t judge others, Kristy hated how true her words were. It really was a shame that the people in the world couldn’t just change their opinions & get over judging people. Really there were a lot bigger things to be worrying about than if certain people deserved equal rights or what certain people did with their lives. Instead of responding to Dominic’s words though, Kristy just nodded. She didn’t really think Dominic had come all this way looking for some sort of human rights conversation.
Kristy couldn’t help but giggle when Dominic stumbled over calling her sugar again, while he insisted in thanking her for her work in helping him book his surprise holiday. “Well ok then, I suppose you are right. You’re welcome, & really I am just happy to help.” She then gave Dominic a wide smile. She hoped that she would see him again, maybe next time he wanted to book a holiday or something. It was always good to have a client return, particularly the ones who where enjoyable to talk to & be around, like Dominic was. She wouldn’t even mind if it was last minute again.
Dominic caused her to giggle again when he used the word sugar twice in a row. “You’re welcome, again. I don’t know why you are either, but I really don’t mind the sugar. Maybe you are just used to using the word that it is coming naturally?” Kristy suggested, although she was sure that what Dominic had said was a rhetorical question.
When handing over all the details Dominic would need, Kristy said the line that she was meant to use, to see if she could help with anything else. Although really Kristy often got a feeling that she had helped all that she needed to without needing to ask that. That was the case here, which was confirmed by Dominic’s words. Smiling at both Dominic’s compliments & the fact that he was now calling her Kristy sugar, Kristy responded, “That is good to know. I look forward to helping you out again in the future. I’m happy that I lived up to your expectations then.” It was always good to hear that her clients thought good things about her work & recommended her, but even better when she could continue to provide a helpful & positive experience for other clients who had been referred to her.
Dominic’s next words thought were a surprise. “Well...” She paused, pretending to think about it. “I don’t think I have any problems with flamboyant gays who have a habit of calling me sugar from time to time. So I guess yes sure, that sounds fine.” Kristy also enjoyed having friends, & thought it would be great to be friends with Dominic, & to be able to know him outside of the work environment of her helping him plan holidays & things like that. Kristy had also repeated what Dominic had said on purpose, drawing out her response a bit.
Kristy bit her lip when she watched Dominic get out a tip. She didn’t feel she deserved it, she was just doing her job. But then it was rude to refuse it, plus Dominic said he wouldn’t be taking any refusals anyway. “Well I must say that it isn’t necessary, but ok I will accept it as I wouldn’t want to offend you.” Kristy smiled as she took the money from him. If she hadn’t not wanted to be rude then she may have tried to refuse it, but it was part of her job to please the client, even when it went against her own beliefs & wishes.

When Kristy said that he was welcome and that it was more than just good news it was wonderful news Dominic couldn’t help but smile brightly at her. It was indeed wonderful news and he couldn’t wait to share that part of his life with Sam. It did make him wonder what kind of parents they would be but he figured they would be the best kind if Beth from the future was anything to go on. “Thanks.” He replied and then giggled along with Kristy.
When Dom had stumbled over the whole ‘sugar’ thing with Kristy for about the fifth time since he started talking to her he heard her giggle a little and this made him feel a little more relaxed and he rolled his eyes slightly and shook his head a little with a smile as he ran his hand through his hair, “Sorry to have yet another little stumble.” When Dom knew that someone was uncomfortable with the way he spoke to them, like calling guys in general ‘darling’ he could usually turn it off for them, the same if he called a woman sugar but with Kristy it was just proving too difficult not to call her sugar. Maybe it was because he was so used to calling Stacey sugar that it just kept coming naturally, or maybe it was because he could see Kristy as a friend and all his female friends got called sugar. Kristy then accepted that she warranted the thank you in Dom’s eyes and said he was welcome and was happy to help. This made Dom smile at her brightly.
When Dom had made the comment about not knowing why he was finding it so difficult not to call her sugar using the word twice he had meant it and giggled a little after it. He was happy to hear that Kristy giggled along with him too. Kristy then answered his question even though he hadn’t really expected one but he began to nod his head at what she was saying. “Well I’m glad you don’t mind the sugar thing and I think you’re right. I’m always calling my BFF Stace sugar and most of my female friends get sugar as well, so maybe I’m seeing you in that light, as a friend, because I can usually turn it off but that’s when I don’t feel a connection after they’ve asked me to stop.” What he meant by that was if he was calling a woman sugar in general and she showed her distaste to it and Dom didn’t feel any friendly vibes with the person he could usually turn it off, but if there were friendly vibes like there had been with Kristy it was definitely a more difficult thing to turn off.
When Dom had said that he would definitely be coming again to book his next holiday he had to grin at her response as she said that she would look forward to helping him in the future again. She then added that she was happy to live up to his expectations and Dom knew he had to reply to that, “Oh, you more than lived up to my expectations Kristy sugar.” He said giving her a bright smile beginning to speak to her the same way he spoke to Stacey, or in the way he spoke to all his close female friends including his sister Lianda. Knowing that their little conversation would be coming to an end now that the purpose of his coming here was over he found that he wanted to see if Kristy would like the idea of being friends and possibly meeting up every now and then and so he put the question to her.
He had to giggle as she replied basically using his own words back to him, it was something like he would do when he was in one of his mad teasing moods. However she finished with saying yes and that it sounded fine. Dom gave her an even bigger smile. Well, after all, your average flamboyant gay male could never have too many female friends to bitch to. “That’s awesome Kristy sugar, I’m so glad you are happy for that to happen. I can guarantee the first night out on the town we can hopefully have that you will have the night of your life.” He could see it now, taking the microphone for the karaoke and just beginning to sing one of his numbers and generally having a good time. Maybe he could even coax Stacey into coming if David could look after Ebony, which would be a blast, his BFF and newest friend together. Oh the fun.
Dom had then handed over a fifty dollar bill as a tip to Kristy for her good service at booking the holiday and he saw her bite her lip and wondered if she would say something or maybe it would be company policy not to take tips, but thankfully she took but not without saying it wasn’t necessary and she would accept it not wanting to offend him. “Well it’s necessary to me Kristy sugar and you can always use it to treat that little angel of yours.” He said with a smile and nodding in the general direction of the photograph of her daughter on her desk.
He stood up then knowing that the purpose of his trip was finished and that he couldn’t really keep Kristy back from her work to just generally talk or he may have been tempted to ask if she wanted to go for a coffee or something. He extended his hand, “Thanks again for everything Kristy sugar.” Then he realised that he hadn’t given any contact details, so he took out one his cards that he often gives to music stores should they want to get in contact with him, on it was his mobile number and his email address. He passed one over to her with a smile, “I almost forgot to give you my contact details, next time you might be free, give me a call and I can be right there.” He then leant into her ear so he could whisper to her, not sure how others would take it, “I can physically fly.”
He stood back and raised his eyebrows at her and winked a little, “So, again, thanks for everything and I will be sure to come back and let you know how the trip went.” He then leant in and gave her a kiss on the cheek just like he would with Stacey and already it felt such a natural thing to do. “Take care of you and your little angel and hopefully we will see each other soon.” With that he made his way out of the travel agent feeling really happy that he managed to get such a romantic week away for him and Sam and happy at the prospect of a new friendship.

When Dominic apologised for calling her sugar, again, Kristy shock her head. “It’s fine, no need to apologise.” Kristy was really finding it all amusing now, & it was no longer making her feel as uncomfortable or anything. When he first had done it, her feelings had been more from not being used to it, but just in this one conversation Kristy had gotten used to it.
Kristy nodded along with what Dominic said when he replied to her comments about him probably calling her sugar because he was used to doing it. It was an honour to hear him say that he thought of her as a friend, as all she would hope is to be someone that he found himself willing to go to to help plan & sort out trips. “Well that does make sense.” Kristy smiled.
When Dominic said she had more than lived up to his expectations Kristy laughed, although she wasn’t sure why, it just sounded funny to her. “Well that is good then. I’m happy that I could help you, especially since it was last minute.” Kristy smiled when she stopped laughing.
Kristy only ever drawed out a response when she wanted to tease & leave the other person in anticipation for her answer. It was just something she unconsciously did, but she was happy to find that Dominic seemed to have found it funny, & not annoying. “Well I will look forward to that then.” Kristy responded when Dominic said that she would have the night of her life.
It came as no surprise to Kristy that Dominic said that the tip was necessary to him, as if it wasn’t then he wouldn’t have given it to her in the first place. When he mentioned her daughter, Kristy followed his gaze to the small photograph she had of Georgia. “Well that is nice of you, she would probably enjoy being given a treat.” Kristy agreed with his suggestion.
With the meeting now over, Dominic had stood to go, so being polite Kristy stood also. “You’re welcome; don’t hesitate to come back here for your next holiday.” Kristy shook his extended hand as she spoke. Dominic then gave her a card with his contact details on it. “Thanks.” Kristy smiled, taking the card before Dominic leaned over to whisper the part about him being able to fly. She wasn’t sure how to respond to that part, so she just remained silent, nodding her head.
When Dominic kissed her, it didn’t bother her, although she hadn’t expected it. “You take care as well, both you & your partner. I will look forward to hearing how the trip goes. Good bye.” Kristy smiled before Dominic left.
