Sam had waited and watched as Tommy just wanted to know where Ryan was on that floor. When they were going to be directed in the right direction, Tommy spoke of how he had been, explaining it to Sam. Sam waved him off, really understanding what he meant. "I do understand Tommy. Don't worry about it okay?" He then followed Tommy and the nurse to where Ryan was in his room.
Sam listened to what Ryan said to Tommy about how he was doing, and then Tommy replied back to him. Hearing what Ryan said next made Sam nod in acknowledgement. "I will just be happy to see that it worked, and see Dom." Sam gave Ryan a small smile after that, hoping that it would be sooner then later. When Ryan said that what he didn't wasn't much, Sam said that he didn't see it as nothing, and Tommy replied also, stating he was a bit of a hero. Sam blinked a couple of times, seeing Ryan's face go a bit red. Ryan soon replied with a thanks, then said to Sam that he guessed that saving Dominic wasn't nothing, and Sam nodded at what he said lastly. "I get that. I would probably be the same if it was my own sister who needed me."
When Sam had told Ryan how he was holding up, Ryan replied, firstly saying that he understood, but stated that he was family. Sam gave him a small smile, knowing that for a fact. Ever since meeting Dom's mum, Frankie, she had seen him as another son in the family, which made him feel special, what with his own parents not really having a part in his life these days. "Thanks Ryan, that means a lot." Sam had then said that he had been feeling a bit better, but hadn't had anything to eat for a while. Tommy commented on that fact, and Sam looked at him, nodding slightly. He knew he was probably a bit of a mess right now, but he knew that he had to regain his strength somewhat. Ryan then agreed with what Tommy had said. "I will see about eating soon. I guess I have other things on my mind besides eating. Will see about a vending machine or something in a few mintues."
After the bad news was shared form the police, they soon left. Sam had then gone over to Lianda to comfort her the best he could. He soon felt her arms go around him, and cradled her in his arms as she cried. Sam heard Tommy say that he was going to go and call the other guys, giving them an update. He heard Ryan speak to Tommy, and then heard Tommy speak to him, and he nodded as much as he could, "No worries Tommy. Thanks for everything. I will be in touch with any news." Sam then heard the footsteps of Tommy leave the room.
Sam glanced over at Ryan and watched him just flop back into the bed. As he moved slightly from Lianda, Sam kept his arm around her in order for her to feel that she was still being supported. Then he heard Ryan speak out loud. Everything he was saying was starting to get to Sam, and his eyes began to well up with tears. He tried his hardest to keep them at bay, but a few escaped, falling down his face silently. "Ryan...." Then Sam saw that Ryan was getting all emotional now, and he knew that it wouldn't be doing him any good after having surgery.
A nurse came in to check on Ryan's vitals, and Sam moved out of the way to make more room near his bed. He then felt Lianda move and then say to him that she was ready to identify the body. Sam could understand that she didn't want to go alone, he knew he wouldn't be able to do it on his own either, if he was in her shoes. Sam nodded at Lianda as the nurse said to Ryan that his vitals were looking strong, and that hew as recovering well. Well that is one lot of good news, thought Sam. Sam then watched Ryan say that he wanted to go with his sister for support when she went to identify the body. He didn't think it was such a good idea, so soon after the operation, and the nurse pretty much said no, explaining why he shouldn't move.
Sam could hear the determinatin in Ryan's voice, and it reminded him so much of Dom, who could also be very demanding in his own way. He didn't know if he should say something, but Lianda soon spoke up, saying that Sam could go with her, and then asked him as much. Sam looked at her, nodding, "Sure I can." Though that was all he got out before Ryan became demanding again, and soon enough he got his own way. When the nurse left to get an orderly and a wheelchair, Sam turned to Ryan. "Are you sure that this is a good idea? I don't want to see you injure yourself, and have to move to the Intensive Care Unit because you wanted to do something that clearly is the wrong choice. I guess we are all just thinking of you Ryan." Again with the strong will, Sam wondered again where it was all coming from. Maybe Dom left some behind and he was able to use it now.

{ooc - I know posting as Simon first breaks the order slightly - but thought it would have more impact if I could have Ryan react right away - hopefully it won't confuse you too much Mel} Friday, 9th April, 2010 – Around 4am Ever since Simon had stabbed Dominic and everything else he had ever done to him or anybody else had come flooding back to him, Simon had gone into what could only be described as a slight state of depression. He was very much a tortured soul right now and had thought about going to the police with what he had done but he figured that with nobody understanding what was happening to him that they might arrest him without realising that it had all been done through an obvious illness that Simon suffers. Also with Simon not getting himself diagnosed yet wouldn’t help his situation either and so he decided against going to the police for now until he could get a doctor to admit that he was mentally impaired it was best to keep what he had done to himself. However he was so tortured by what he had done and worried that he may have killed the only man he had ever truly loved and loved him back that he felt like he had to find out how Dominic was doing. He had found out during news reports that Dominic was air lifted back to Nevada to his local hospital and naturally Simon had already made his way back to Nevada after the altercation with Dominic that had ended so badly. Simon hated himself right now, he felt physically sick of what he had done and sick that he may have murdered Dominic through his jealous rage that he knew he had to get to the hospital to try and find out what he could about Dominic’s condition despite the fact that he knew that Dominic’s family and friends would likely be there. He just knew that if Dominic did die that he couldn’t face hearing it on the news, he had to find out for himself, face to face. It was now the early morning of the ninth and Simon felt that he had given it enough time for Dominic to arrive at the local hospital and for any medical work to be carried out on him and so he took himself down to the Laughlin Royal in the hope that someone would be able to give him some information. He needed to know how Dominic was doing. He walked into the hospital and made his way to the desk at the Emergency Room section. Simon was clearly in a state of distress however, as his hair looked a mess from constantly running his hands through it, he was beginning to look unshaven with the stubble and the light had gone which he usually carried in his eyes. “Hi, I’d like to find out about Dominic Salvatore please.” Simon asked and the receptionist looked up slowly and the way Simon looked hadn’t gone unnoticed and she let out a small involuntary gasp. Whoever this was she thought he must have been close to Dominic as he was clearly in a bad way. “Are you family, we’re only allowed to give information out to the family.” The receptionist said and Simon gulped knowing that if he told the truth that he wouldn’t get to know anything. There was only one thing he could say, “I’m his partner.” The receptionist looked at him sceptically knowing full well that Dominic’s partner was already in the hospital waiting to see him. “I’m sorry; I can’t give you the information as I know that Dominic’s partner is already waiting to find out about him.” She said as she tapped on the keyboard. Simon began to get annoyed, “Excuse me.” He said and the woman looked up again and Simon made complete eye contact with her and began to use his power of persuasion on her. “You will tell me how Dominic Salvatore is doing, now.” He said and the woman just slowly nodded her head and proceeded to tell Simon what she knew. “Dominic Salvatore was brought in with a serious injury which caused renal failure. It was found during the operation that he only had one kidney and he had to undergo a kidney transplant from his recently reunited to the family twin brother. As of now the next twenty four hours are critical but they hope to move him to a room soon.” Simon gave her a smile, “Thank you.” He then walked away down some of the corridors in the hospital not believing what he had just heard. He had almost killed Dominic. He began to panic slightly, what if Dominic’s twin had never found his blood family, would Dominic have died? He would have been a murderer. He would have killed the only man he had ever loved. He might still die. If he did die he would have caused it. Simon kept thinking all these thoughts as he walked through the hospital corridors not really knowing where he was going. He eventually felt that his feet couldn’t carry him anymore and saw some seats and slumped down onto them. He had no idea that he was outside the hospital morgue; all he wanted to do was just sit and do some thinking. He had to get to Dominic, he had to tell him that he didn’t mean it and that it was because he was ill, he had to apologise to him, had to apologise for everything he had ever done to Dominic Salvatore. Now he could understand why Dominic could never love him anymore and he didn’t blame him, how could he when he had done such terrible things to him.

Friday, 9th April, 2010 - Around 4am When Tommy had given an explanation to Sam of how he had been with the nurse even though he didn’t think he would have to, he soon saw Sam wave him off confirming that thought and then he replied saying that he understood and not to worry about it. “Cheers for that mate.” Tommy replied and then made their way into Ryan’s room. When Sam said that he would just be happy to see that the transplant had worked and get to see Dom, Ryan’s eyes began to sting slightly. Ryan had only been reunited with the family for a very short time but it had been clearly obvious to see how much Dominic loved Sam and how much that love was returned. For Ryan it felt great to have such a big family and an extended one also when he had been an only child for all of his life. He had the extended family through Dominic with Stacey and her family and he had Sam also through Dominic. It hadn’t taken Ryan long at all to fall in love with his family and extended family. “I am sure it will have worked Sam, they told me I was a perfect match and perfect matches seldom get rejected, I am sure you will see Dominic soon.” He then had to swallow a couple of times to clear his throat of the lump that was suddenly in it from trying not to let the tears fall that were currently stinging his eyes. When Sam said that he would be the same way if his sister needed him Ryan nodded his head fully understanding. “I understand completely, family are so important and I feel honoured that they accepted me so easily and so welcoming.” Ryan said knowing that it could have gone very differently but it hadn’t. They had been so nice to him and because of that he had fallen into the way of calling them mom, dad, bro and sis so easily. Even Sam got bro sometimes; well since he and Dominic were engaged to be married it was only a matter of time before he would be his brother in law even if it wasn’t recognised in the State of Nevada. Something that Ryan thought was ridiculous. As far as he was concerned, love is love, it should make no difference if that love is between two men, two women or a man and a woman. When Ryan had told Sam that he was family Sam soon thanked him adding that it meant a lot. Ryan gave Sam a smile, “You’re welcome bro.” He replied finally managing to stop the tears from falling from his eyes. It was the one trait he wished he didn’t share with his twin Dominic although Ryan was better at controlling his emotions than Dominic or at least he liked to think he was at any rate. Sam had then said that he couldn’t remember the last time he had eaten and both Tommy and Ryan had made a comment about it saying that he really should try and get something to eat to keep himself strong for seeing Dominic later. Sam replied saying he would see about getting something soon but just had other things on his mind, which to Ryan was perfectly understandable. “I understand bro, eating would be the last thing on anybody’s mind right about now, but it will do you good to get something in a bit.” Ryan replied and Tommy just nodded his head basically agreeing with what Ryan had said to Sam. Once it had been known about the death of Lianda’s husband Tony, Ryan had done what he could to console her despite his current situation but was thankful for Sam taking over and as he saw how Sam cradled his sister he could feel his damned emotions getting the better of him again. It was at this point that Tommy spoke about letting the other guys have an update on Dominic but Ryan had a feeling that Tommy suddenly felt like he shouldn’t be there now given the circumstances around Lianda’s husband. Ryan gave a slight nod of his head to Tommy, “Thanks for taking the time to come in and see how I was doing, I appreciate it.” Tommy nodded his head giving Ryan a small smile, “You’re welcome mate, I ain’t gonna leave, not yet, I wouldn’t mind getting to see Dominic myself even if it’s just for a few moments.” Ryan could understand that and gave Tommy an understanding smile. Tommy had then spoken to Sam and he soon replied thanking him for everything and that he would keep him updated on any news. “Cheers Sam mate I appreciate that.” With that he was gone leaving Ryan with Sam still consoling Ryan’s sister Lianda. Ryan had then chosen that moment to flop back onto the bed and began to speak out loud to the good lord above who had thought it was right that he should take away another member of the family instead. He knew that it wouldn’t be something that Lianda probably needed to hear him say but he just found that he couldn’t help it. He watched as Sam shifted position slightly but keeping his arm around Lianda and continuing to console her. Right now Lianda was grateful for Sam’s support, normally it would have been Dominic, the sibling she felt she was closest to, but through Dominic she was just as close to Sam and this was helping her more than Sam probably realised. As Ryan spoke the words he heard Sam mention his name as if he was going to ask him to stop but no other words were said, probably because unable to stop them this time, a few tears escaped from Ryan’s eyes. Soon after this a nurse came in to check on Ryan’s vitals just as Lianda said that she felt she was ready to identify the body but didn’t want to do it alone. Ryan knew that Sam could go with her, but he wanted to be there, he wanted to help fill the gap that would be so clearly left by Dominic’s absence as he could sense how close the two siblings were to each other although Ryan liked to think that he was getting just as close to her. It was soon made known that Ryan’s vitals were strong and he had then told the nurse that he wanted to go with Lianda to help her identify the body. The nurse had made it clear he couldn’t go and Lianda had spoken up saying Sam could go with her asking him if that would be okay. Sam said he could but before Lianda could say anything else Ryan got demanding with the nurse again and she soon gave into him. When the nurse left to get an orderly it didn’t take long for Sam to question Ryan about moving. Ryan sighed a little but not too loudly as he knew that Sam was just thinking of him and gave Sam a weak smile, “I can’t help it Sam, I want to go, I feel like I need to be there, I’ll be careful, I promise, what can go so wrong sitting in a wheelchair beside my sister?” He said and then gave Lianda a weak smile which she sort of returned back to him. “Besides I am pretty sure with you on my case and an orderly you’ll make sure I do nothing bad.” Ryan replied and gave Sam a half laugh just as the nurse returned with the orderly. The nurse unhooked the drip from the drip line next to Ryan’s bed and hooked it onto the drip line attached to the wheelchair and then used both her hands to gently help ease Ryan to his feet which he did and she soon lowered him into the chair. “I warn you now Mr. Anderson you had better behave yourself. If I get a call to tell me that you’ve fallen over or anything else stupid...” She trailed off as she saw the look he was giving her, the look that was saying how much do you think I’m going to get away with, with my sister, my brother’s lover and an orderly with me. The orderly soon had them down to the morgue where all three of them went inside. Of course all Ryan could do really was to hold one of Lianda’s hands as the coroner pulled the cover down slightly to reveal the body’s face. Ryan had only met Tony once, but he knew that it was him but even if he hadn’t the grip that became obvious from Lianda would have told him anyway. Lianda began to sob again and then nodded her head, “It’s him.” She said in a barely audible voice, “It’s my Tony.” She added and then she sort of stepped away from the table and began to shake and as she moved away Ryan felt her hand leave his and then Lianda felt like her feet couldn’t carry her any longer and she collapsed into Sam. She would have chosen Ryan but knew that she really couldn’t because of Ryan’s current situation. “I am so sorry Lianda.” Ryan said in a soft voice feeling that he had another lump in his throat. The coroner pulled the sheet up again and as the door opened to the morgue the orderly began to wheel Ryan outside and of course Lianda followed with Sam. They were only outside the morgue for seconds when Ryan heard Lianda scream out loud and he frowned. He knew that she was upset, but why would she scream like that? Then he felt Lianda tug at his arm and he looked up at her. “It’s him.” She said and Ryan was confused for a second, “Simon.” She added and Ryan’s facial features changed from sorrow to absolute anger. “You have got to be kidding me.” He said but knew that his sister wouldn’t kid about something like that. Forgetting everything that the nurse had told him and only seeing the man who had almost killed his twin brother, complete anger began to course through his veins. He yanked the drip out of his arm and scrambled out of the chair holding onto his side as it was still very sore and tender for obvious reasons but trying to forget the pain he made his way toward where this pathetic figure was sitting slumped in the chair. Without another second’s thought he grabbed at Simon and threw him up against the wall. “You almost killed my brother you fucking bastard. You nearly took him away from me before I got a chance to get to know him. Have you any idea how much I hate you? How much I wish I could rip your face off? You raped him, you raped my twin and then you nearly killed him, what kind of fucking monster are you?” He yelled at him as he lifted up one of his arms and punched Simon in the face. With his superhuman strength there was no way that Simon could escape his grasp as he continued to punch into Simon’s face. Then he heard Lianda begin to sob all over again. “Ry, stop it! He’s not worth it, Ry! RYAN!” She ended up yelling his name in full and that was when Ryan knew that he was upsetting his sister. “My sister’s right, you aren’t worth it.” He stopped and then pushed Simon up against the wall, “You fucking stay away from my family have you got it? All of them including Sam, if I find you anywhere near any of them ever again I swear I will end you.” Ryan shouted and then he began to feel nauseous and he could feel the side of the long shirt he was wearing get wet and he looked down to see that blood was seeping through just before he collapsed onto the floor unconscious with the pain.

Sam nodded when Ryan spoke of what he was told about the operation working. He gave him a small smile when Ryan said that he would see Dom soon. Just thinking about him was making him want to see him right now, but he knew it wasn't possible.
When Ryan spoke of the family being so accepting to him so easily, and so welcoming Sam nodded. "I know. But you are their family that they didn' know existed, so I guess they need to make up for all that time lost. I am glad that I was here to meet you as well." Sam gave him a warm smile, thinking that having Ryan in his extended family was just wonderful. Also having Dom's good friend Tommy there was well was just great, having all that support had helped Sam get through this.
After the nurse had left, Sam had expressed his concerns to Ryan moving to go with Lianda to the morgue. Ryan soon replied and Sam nodded, acknowledging what he said. He shrugged a little when Ryan asked what could go wrong. Sam had no idea, but all he could think of is that if Ryan got emotional, or tried to move in anyway, he might make his stitches come undone, and he knew that wouldn't be a good thing. Ryan then spoke to Lianda, and Sam had a fair idea of what he was saying to her. Sam just shook his head, knowing full well that Lianda was probably a lot like Frankie. The nurse had come back in to fix Ryan up, then warned him. Sam saw that look, and kind of knew it well, it looked similar to one that Dom gave.
Soon enough they were on the way to the morgue, and reached it in what seemed like record speed to Sam. While Ryan had one of Lianda's hands, Sam had gone around to her other side, and held her other hand. Soon it was apparent that it was Tony under the sheet, and Sam swallowed a little, feeling the emotion of it all. He couldn't believe that she had lost her husband, and thinking about the kids she had was just even more sad. Sam turned to watch Lianda step away from the table that Tony had been on, and felt her shaking. That can't be a good sign, thought Sam, as he moved his other hand to hold her arm, looking at her with concern on his face. She soon fell into Sam, who moved his hand from her arm to around her, steadying her a bit. He then wrapped his arms around her. Sam heard Ryan say sorry to Lianda, and then he also spoke ot Lianda, "Sorry Li." He kept her in the embrace for a few seconds, then slowly stepped out of it, taking her hand again.
As they headed back outside the morgue to take Ryan back to his room, Sam instantly stopped at Lianda screaming. It sounded like she had seen a ghost or something, and he quickly turned to face her. "What wrong?!?!" When Sam heard that name said, he felt sick, angry, and very unsure of what was just said. "What?" Sam looked at Ryan, who now looked like he was going to kill someone. Oh shit, thought Sam, this is not going to end well. Sam let go of Lianda's hand, but not fast enough, as he wanted to stop Ryan from doing something stupid. It was too late, as Sam watched Ryan pull the drip out and headed towards Simon. Sam could see that Ryan was holding onto his side, and all he could think about was that he was going to do damage to himself, or Simon was, either way it wasn't going to look for Ryan at all.
Sam instantly left Lianda to try and stop Ryan. He went to grab one of Ryan's arms, but he couldn't quite grip it, and he felt as Ryan moved his fist back to get another hit at Ryan, it connected with Sam's nose, making his eyes water, then his body hit the ground. Sam was dazed for a few seconds, but didn't lose consciousness. He watched Ryan continually punch Simon, and remember his strength, hoping that he wouldn't do damage to actually kill Simon. Well Simon did deserve it, but still the idea of Ryan having to face murder charges didn't sound great to start off his new life.
Sam scrambled up off the floor, just as Lianda was telling Ryan to stop. Soon he heard her yell Ryan's name, then Ryan spoke to Simon, pretty much saying what he sister just said. The next thing that Ryan said was just not what he was used to hearing. The swearing he hadn't really heard from Ryan, but the tone he used, Sam knew that he was meaning business and he hoped that Simon got the message. Sam wiped at his nose, seeing some blood, but nothing felt broken, so he would be okay. Though soon Sam saw that Ryan was bleeding, and he quickly went over to Ryan, seeing him look a bit pale. The next bit felt like slow motion. Sam watched Ryan look down where he was bleeding, and then collapsed on the ground.
Sam's eyes grew wide, and went to Ryan, kneeling beside him, "Ryan! Oh God, I was afraid of this." He tried to shake his arms slightly to see if he would waken. Sam looked up at Lianda, feeling a tear fall from his eye. "Maybe he should have stayed in his room. I should have persisted more." Sam then looked away, standing up, knowing that he couldn't do anymore for Ryan.

Simon sat outside the hospital morgue not even realising that’s where he was just thinking about what he had done to Dominic in Hawaii and what he had done to him over the years when they had been together. Ever since his mind opened up to it all in Hawaii after the stabbing he kept seeing other things that he had done to Dominic. The fights and arguments he used to have with Dominic all started by Simon’s insane jealousy which Simon knew now there had never been any need for because he knew that Dominic would never have cheated on him. Dominic had loved him, he knew that now, he could feel that love as he thought back to their days together and he, Simon had ruined it for the both of them. He was deep in his lost thoughts he hadn’t even been aware of anybody coming out of the morgue, if he had looked up and noticed who it was he may well have made a quick exit.
However when he heard the scream it brought him out of his thoughts and he looked in the direction it had come from and he felt like he was frozen in fear. He knew that the Dominic look alike in the wheelchair must have been the twin because there was no way Dominic would have been fit enough yet to have been in a wheelchair. Simon wanted to get up and to apologise for what he had done, to explain that he never knew what he was doing, that he must have been ill, but he didn’t get the chance as he saw the twin get up from the wheelchair and lunge for him. It didn’t take Simon long to notice that he shared a power with his twin, one of being superhuman because his grip on Simon was so strong he couldn’t shake out of it. As he was thrown against the wall all he got was a lot of verbal abuse but Simon didn’t try to defend himself because he knew what this guy was saying was the truth. He had every right to be angry at him.
“I never meant to hurt him like this, you have to believe me. I need to go and see a doctor I’m ill, I don’t remember doing any of it I swear. I would never have hurt the man that loved me so much back then, never.” Simon said not defending himself but trying to give a reason for his behaviour but it would seem that the twin wasn’t caring or wasn’t listening as he began to pummel his fists into Simon’s face. He still didn’t try to fight off the twin because he felt he deserved every single smash to the face he got. He couldn’t be sure if his nose was broken or not, but he didn’t care. Eventually he heard Lianda shout for Ry to stop it and eventually called him Ryan, so at least Simon knew the twin’s name now. Ryan did stop hitting him and Simon wiped at his mouth and nose where he could feel blood trickling down. “I deserve it, I know I do, but I honestly never meant to hurt him, not now and not then either. I didn’t know what I was doing, I swear, but I can see that Dominic has every right to hate me, you all do.”
Ryan had then pushed him against the wall again and told him in quite a stern voice, certainly a tone of voice he had never heard from Dominic, not even when Dominic was telling him back in Hawaii to leave him and Sam alone, this voice from Ryan was powerful, threatening. He was telling him to leave his family alone and it included Sam. Simon just nodded his head slowly, there wasn’t really anything else he could say or do at this point. Then he watched in horror as Ryan collapsed onto the floor and could see the look of horror on Lianda and Sam’s face. Simon knew that he couldn’t approach Sam and so he made his way over to Lianda instead. “I am so sorry for everything, you have to believe me, I never meant to cause this much pain and devastation.” Once Lianda responded to him he walked away from them all knowing that he could never face any of them again. He knew that he would have to make a new start in life and the only way he would be able to do that was to move to another State away from the Salvatore family altogether and that’s exactly what he would do.

After Ryan had spoken about how the Salvatore family had been so welcoming to him, Sam soon replied and Ryan gave him a smile. What Sam was saying about him being family they never knew existed and had to make up for lost time was nice to hear, but Ryan still knew that it could have been a very different scenario if they were different people. “That’s true Sam but I’ve read of stories where children turn up after years of non existence to the blood family and they don’t want to know. I’m just so glad that the Salvatore family were just happy to have their son back.” Then Sam had said he was glad to have been there to meet Ryan as well. This made Ryan smile back brightly at Sam despite the current circumstances. “Thanks Sam, I would never have thought I would get such a wonderful extended family.” Ryan just wished that Dominic would hurry up and regain consciousness so they could find out how he was feeling. He wasn’t even thinking it for his benefit, but for Sam’s as he could tell how much it was breaking Sam’s heart to be away from Dominic for so long. When Sam had voiced his concerns which Ryan appreciated, he soon told him that he couldn’t help it and he saw Sam nod his head acknowledging what he had said to him. Ryan then asked what could go wrong and he saw Sam shrug at him. After the nurse fixed Ryan with his drip and gave him another warning they were soon on their way to the hospital morgue. Ryan noticed as he took one of Lianda’s hands that Sam went round to take the other. After Lianda confirmed that it was indeed Tony, Ryan was glad that Sam was there with them too when he saw her step back and then collapse into Sam. Lianda had just felt her legs give way and as she fell into Sam she was glad for his support as she soon felt his arms go around her and she returned that gesture as she hugged into him, really glad that he was there, that both of them were there helping to fill the void from her mom and brother Dom. She soon heard both Ryan and Sam say how sorry they were. “I know you are.” She replied in a soft voice and Ryan could feel his emotions building up again. It had just been a terrible day all in. Lianda then felt Sam move out of the embrace and take her hand again which she was grateful for. After they had left the morgue and Lianda had screamed out Sam had turned to her and asked what was wrong, but she had tugged at Ryan’s arm and soon made it clear that Simon was fairly close to them all. Then Sam asked what again as if he needed Lianda to repeat what she had just said but she never as she knew that it was a name that none of the Salvatore family ever wanted to hear being spoken again. She saw the look on Ryan’s face change and she began to worry but was in too much of a daze to try and stop anything from happening. She soon felt Sam let go of her hand and watch as he tried to stop Ryan from doing anything but it was too late. Lianda then watched on in horror at the scene unfolding in front of them and Sam obviously trying to stop it. When Sam got caught in the crossfire and got hit on the nose and fell back, Lianda rushed over to him, “Sam, are you alright? I know Ry didn’t mean to do that to you and I know he’s angry but I just wish he would stop.” Lianda said in a panicked voice as she continued to watch Ryan pummel into Simon’s face. Lianda then watched Sam scramble to his feet just as she yelled at Ryan to stop unable to watch it anymore. Thankfully Ryan stopped but then Lianda watched as he pushed Simon into the wall and basically told him in a very threatening voice not to go anywhere near his family again. Lianda felt proud of Ryan at that moment to have stopped and hearing him talk about her and the rest of them as family made her eyes begin to water but it was also strange to see him being so masculine and threatening when she was so used to Dom and his feminine ways. Then Lianda watched as Ryan began to look very pale and fell to the ground unconscious. She watched Sam go to him and try to waken him saying that he was afraid of this happening. Lianda was going to say something when Simon approached her telling her he was sorry for everything and that he had never meant to cause so much pain and devastation. Lianda didn’t really care and she pushed into his chest with her hands and then began to pummel him with her fists. “I’ve just identified the dead body of my husband who was killed instantly in a car accident on his way to see my brother Dominic, you know the one you almost killed and my mom is resting on a hospital bed after feeling sick with high blood pressure and possibly losing the grandchild she is carrying for her sons Dominic and Sam because she was worried about her son Dominic dying and now look what you have done to my other brother Ryan. I hate you, we all hate you, just leave, don’t you realise that apologies aren’t enough? They don’t fix anything. JUST LEAVE!” Lianda finally yelled as she pushed into his chest with her hands one more time and watched him leave them. She then made her way over to where Sam was with Ryan. Sam looked at up at her stating that Ryan should have stayed in his room and he should have persisted more. Lianda bent down to Sam’s level and put her arm around his shoulders. “Sam honey you would never have been able to stop Ryan from coming down here, none of us could even the nurse couldn’t, he was adamant he was coming with us, so please don’t blame yourself.” She said as she then touched Ryan’s arm. “Ry, come on wake up you silly fool.” Ryan began to stir and he tried sitting up a little as he looked at Sam and saw his face. “Sorry Sam, I never meant to get you caught up in that. I shouldn’t have gone for him, I’m so sorry but I was just so angry.” Lianda shook her head and put her hand on Ryan’s arm, “Ry, we understand why you did what you did, but look at you now, he’s just not worth it and your nurse is going to be very annoyed with you.” Ryan gulped a little, “Yeah, tell me something I don’t know.” He replied just as the orderly who had gone to contact the nurse helped to lift Ryan onto the wheelchair again. He was only just sitting in it when the nurse arrived and Ryan rolled his eyes knowing what was coming soon. “Mr. Anderson what the hell do you think you were playing at? I told you to behave yourself. I have been informed who the man was that you got angry with and I have to say that he deserved it and I admire your courage, but you were stupid you could have killed yourself.” The nurse said and Ryan looked down at his feet for a second and then back up at the nurse slowly with a weak smile on his face and replied saying, “Yeah I know and I’m sorry.” The nurse then proceeded to check the wound which actually wasn’t as bad as it could have been. “You’re very lucky, it looks like you’ve only dislodged one stitch, I’ll get the doctor to fix that as soon as possible, but no more monkey antics until you’re fit enough, you got it?” She said and Ryan just nodded his head like one of those nodding dogs you see on the back of a car when it moves. “The orderly will take you back up to your room.” **** Half an hour later **** They were back in Ryan’s room and the doctor had since been in to replace the stitch that Ryan had dislodged and was told in no uncertain terms to leave the teenage boy antics until he was fit enough and that meant he was to behave for the next two to three weeks at least. Ryan was lying in the bed feeling a good bit better but also a little fit foolish. He looked from Lianda to Sam, “I’m really sorry guys, I never meant to scare you and I know I was stupid but hopefully he will never bother us again.” Lianda gave Ryan a small smile and just nodded her head in acknowledgement. There was then a knock at the door and then it opened and Ryan’s face lit up as he saw his mom Frankie walk in. She first made her way to Lianda and wrapped her arms around her hugging her close. “I am so sorry about Tony sweetheart, the soon as I heard I said I had to go and see my children. They were happy with my progress so they said as long as I kept calm I could come and see you all.” Lianda hugged her mom back but felt like she had no more tears left to cry. “Thanks mom.” She said and then Frankie hugged Sam. “I’ve been told Dominic has been moved to a room now, actually next door to Ryan and I was told we can go and see him anytime we want to now.” She then walked over to Ryan, “That was a very naughty thing you did outside the morgue, the nurse told me. I’m just so pleased that you are alright. There is something I want to say to you though. Ryan I am so honoured that you would give up one of your kidneys to save Dominic and you know that we love you already and so you will make us all very proud if you would take our family name. You’re a Salvatore and you should have that name.” Frankie said and gave her son a gentle hug as much as she could. Ryan looked at her and then at Lianda and then to Sam and then back to Frankie, “I would be honoured to take the name, mom.”

Sam listened to what Ryan said about what stories he had read about children finding their blood family after years of not knowing, and the family not wanting to know. He nodded, and understood what he was getting at. "Well glad it went okay for you, more than okay." Ryan then replied to what Sam said about being glad to have met Ryan. Sam nodded in acknowledgement, and gave him a smile back remembering the one that Ryan had given him only moments ago. Sam was lucky he didn't get knocked out by that accidental punch from Ryan. He shook his head slightly, feeling his nose tingling a bit, but knew it wasn't broken. He heard Lianda talking to him, and he nodded his head the best he could in answer to her question. After she spoke more, he quickly replied back, "I know Li. And I wish he would too." Sam scrambled up onto his feet, and he heard Lianda yell at Ryan to stop. After Ryan stopped, and had a go at Simon one more time, this time with threatening words, Ryan fell to the ground unconscious. Sam had tried to wake Ryan up as much as he could, but it obviously wasn't working. Sam hadn't realised that Simon had gone over to Lianda, but as soon as he heard her yell 'just leave', he looked at her. He watched as Lianda shoved Simon in the chest with her hands, and finally Simon was gone. Sam just hoped that was the last he saw of that sorry mess of a man. He soon spoke to her with his concerns and what he should have done to stop Ryan from coming. Sam watched Lianda come down to his level, where he slid onto his bum to sit on the floor, and she then put an arm around his shoulders. Hearing what she said made him nod, but still he felt that he could have done more. "Okay." Sam looked down for a second, then looked back at Lianda, and gave her a weak smile. His eyes then moved to Ryan who was still unconscious. Finally Ryan woke, after Lianda touched Ryan and spoke to him. He apologised to Sam, who just shook his head slightly. Sam understood that Ryan was angry, Sam was still like that in the back of his mind over what Simon did to his lover. "It's okay Ryan. I think we all feel that way." Lianda spoke in reply to what Ryan said also, and Sam put his arm around Lianda's waist. Hearing what she said about the nurse made Sam raise his eyebrows. "Yes, there is her to deal with now Ryan. Good one." He snickered slightly, but then stopped as it was hurting his face. Ryan commented on that fact, and soon enough he was moved back into the wheelchair by the orderly. Sam got up off the ground, and then saw the nurse coming towards them. He didn't want to be in the cross fire of what might be said, so he stood back slightly. The nurse told him right off, but Sam smiled a little when she said in the middle of it all that Simon deserved it and she admired his courage. Ryan was definately not one to hold back, and it reminded him of Dom, though Ryan was more of a man man then he and Dom were, or maybe more then Dom. Whatever the case, Sam was proud that Ryan stood up to Simon, despite hurting himself in the process. Soon it was confirmed that Ryan didn't do as much damage as he could have done. And then they were on their way back to Ryan's room. **** 1/2 an hour later **** After Ryan was all fixed up, he had soon apologised for scaring them, adding that he knew he was stupid, but hoped that Simon wouldn't bother them again. Sam nodded, not really going to comment on the past things that had happened. Sadly they had, and now they were going to try and keep Ryan calm enough to heal, rather than get up to more mischief. At that moment Frankie had come in and consoled her daughter over the death of her husband. Sam was still slightly sadden at the fact that most or all of the Salvatore's had been hit with bad things happening yesterday and today. Frankie then had hugged Sam, who returned the hug. Hearing what she had to say made his heart skip a beat. Sam swallowed and felt a bit more brighter, despite still not eating anything. It was now getting on a few hours since he had eaten. "Well whenever you are ready." Frankie then went over to Ryan to extend her comments on what he did. Sam wondered what he might say to that. Though Frankie kept talking, and what Sam heard her say made him really smile. Ever since they had found out that Ryan was part of the family, it had just gotten better and better for the family, until this moment. But now that Frankie was saying that to Ryan, Sam felt like he was holding his breath to what Ryan might say. And then Sam watched Ryan look at all of them individually, then back at Frankie and gave his answer. Sam smiled at him, knowing that there was some very good news above all the uncertainty and sadness. He then got up to congratulate Ryan, and when he stood up, he felt a bit dizzy, and collapsed into the chair he had been sitting in. Sam put his hand up to his head, "Just a bit dizzy I guess." He was going to get up again, but decided against it. Maybe that food was in order.

{ooc - explained on the fb ET group why I did this lol}
The last thing Dominic had remembered was telling Sam that he was to never forget how much he loved him and he was to look after Beth. Dominic felt like he was going to die when he had said those words to Sam. He had been in so much pain and as the blood continued to come out of his mouth he knew that it wasn’t a good sign for him. He had been unaware of anything that happened after that moment. He had no idea that he had been air lifted back to Laughlin Royal Hospital, had no idea that his twin Ryan had given up a kidney to save him and of course he had no idea that Simon had dared to appear at the hospital causing Ryan to attack him and burst one of his stitches. He also had no idea that his mom had taken ill through worrying about him and that his sister Lianda’s husband had been killed in a car accident on his way to the hospital to see Dominic. As of now Dominic was still unconscious from the operation but his vitals had been getting stronger by the minute and Doctor Laura Innes had agreed that Dominic could finally be moved to a room of his own.
They soon found that the room next to Ryan’s was free and they took Dominic to that room, so the twins were next door to each other. Laura went into the room to make sure that Dominic was as comfortable as he could be and then made her way to tell Francesca that she and her family could visit Dominic the soon as they were ready.
For now Dominic was just lying on the bed as if he was asleep apart from the fact that he had a drip attached to him on one arm and the machine monitoring his heart and another drip line that was giving small amounts of morphine in a vein on Dominic's shoulder for the pain caused by the operation. Then of course there was the wound itself which was now nicely stitched with a wound dressing over it. The flowers that Tommy and the band members had sent were now sitting in two vases on the bedside table next to Dominic.
As Dominic lay unconscious still, or what could be more described as a deep sleep he began to feel like his strength was returning to him slow but sure. Whether it was just Dominic getting stronger naturally or if it was his superhuman power that was causing it nobody would really know. He began to have a dream and it was one that he wasn’t sure he wanted to wake out of anytime too soon.
Dominic turned to look at Stacey walking behind him with Ebony in her arms and he grinned at her and then he turned and saw Sam waiting at tha altar. He looked so handsome and Dominic knew he couldn’t wait to marry his soul mate. He approached Sam and as he did so glanced at the blue flower that Stacey had got for him and he smiled remembering her words when she had said that a nice blue would set off his eyes. He turned to face Sam and said, “I love you Samuel Carhill. You are and always have been and always will be my genuine, kind, caring, sensitive and loving Prince and I will love you from now until eternity.” Dominic then picked up the ring from the small cushion that the pastor held and then slipped it on to the wedding finger on Sam’s left hand. He then kissed Sam with so much passion feeling like the happiest man alive.

When Sam replied to Ryan’s comments about the stories he had read Ryan had to nod his head and give him a smile in acknowledgement. What Sam had said was true; his reunion had mostly certainly gone very well. Despite Dominic’s first words when he saw him he had soon welcomed him with open arms and he hadn’t looked back since. Thinking about what Dom had said when they first saw each other he couldn’t help but laugh to himself a little as it was kind of funny for Dom to have said that when he had indeed tried to impersonate him a few days earlier when he had first met Stacey and he was so glad that she forgave him over that otherwise he might not be in the loving family that he now was. When Sam had been accidentally punched Lianda had soon asked if he was alright and she saw him nod his head slightly. When she said she wished that Ryan would stop Sam soon spoke agreeing with her. Lianda had picked up almost right away that Ryan and Dom shared a lot of traits, the stubborn streak being the main one. The only one real difference between them as far as Lianda was concerned was the difference in their sexuality. “He’s as stubborn as Dom.” She said and it wasn’t long after that once she had managed to get Ryan to stop that he had collapsed onto the floor, the very sort of thing that they had all been worried about happening when he had insisted in going to the morgue with her. When Lianda had told Sam that they would never have been able to stop Ryan and he wasn’t to blame himself she watched him nod his head slightly. He then replied saying ‘okay’ but she then watched as he looked down and she nudged him a little, “I mean it Sam honey, don’t you go blaming yourself, listen to your little sister.” She said and with the arm that was around his shoulders she pulled him into a hug. Okay so technically she wasn’t his little sister but in her mind she was as good as and when he and Dominic got married then in law she would be. She was already sad enough for them all over the death of Tony she didn’t need Sam to be sad too because in his eyes he had failed to stop Ryan from coming with them. Sam then looked back at her and gave her a weak smile and she hugged him again. When Ryan had come round at Lianda’s touch and words he had soon apologised to Sam when he saw his face and could only give him a weak smile as Sam shook his head. Sam then said it was okay adding that he thought they all felt that way. “Yeah, I guess, but man, look at your face, I feel so bad and look what I’ve done to myself.” Lianda had then pretty much said the same thing Sam had she felt Sam put his arm around her waist and she leant her head on his shoulder a little. Lianda had then made the comment about the nurse and she had to laugh a little despite the mess of the day when Sam commented about that and snickered. Ryan had then said to tell him something he didn’t know just as the orderly got him back into the wheelchair. When Sam got up off the ground Lianda’s arm automatically moved and she too stood up and the nurse soon told Ryan off like she knew she would. Lianda did feel quite good about what the nurse said in regards to Simon deserving it and Ryan showing courage but he could have killed himself and Lianda knew that for a fact. It wouldn’t have been good to just get him back into their lives and then to lose him. They had then made their way back to Ryan’s room. **** ½ an hour later **** When there was a knock at the door it was Frankie and Ryan had given her a bright smile because he was happy to see her. She had made her way to console Lianda first which Ryan had expected and then she had approached Sam and hugged him and Sam hugged her back. Frankie had then told them that they could go and see Dominic whenever they wanted to. Sam replied saying whenever she was ready. Frankie gave him a smile, “Just the soon as I say something to this naughty boy of mine.” She replied and then gave a half laugh as she then basically told Ryan off for being naughty but then asked him to take the family name. Ryan had basically looked at each one of them before replying saying that he would be honoured to. Frankie gave her son another gentle hug, “Well that’s just wonderful, the soon as you’re fit enough we will see about getting it changed officially by deed poll.” Frankie had then turned to ask Sam if he wanted to go and see Dominic and watched as Sam sort of collapsed into the chair. She made her way over to him fussing as always, “Sam, are you alright darling?” Sam then replied saying that he was just a bit dizzy. “That’s because he hasn’t had anything to eat for a while mom, probably since the incident with Dom.” Ryan replied and Frankie put her hand on Sam’s arm gently, “Well then, we’re just going to have to get you to the hospital canteen and get some breakfast in you as it’s getting on for six in the morning now and I could certainly do with something to eat.” Frankie said and then turned back to Ryan, “I imagine that they will bring you something when they feel it’s safe to do so, so while I am getting Sam something to eat you can rest up and when we go to see Dominic we will come in for you and take you through. I don’t see it being a problem, he’s right next door.” Ryan gave his mom a warm smile and nodded his head, “That’s fine mom, I feel kind of tired now anyway.” He replied as he leant his head back onto the pillows. Frankie then took Sam’s arm and helped him up and then linked her arm through his and then with her other arm linked it through Lianda’s and they left Ryan to go and get something to eat. **** 1 hour later **** Frankie felt a lot better now, especially after having had something to eat and she was happy to see that despite Lianda’s obvious grief and pain that she too also ate. Well it wasn’t going to do any of them any good to neglect themselves. Once she had finished her coffee she looked at both Lianda and Sam, “Are you ready to go and see Dominic now darlings?” She asked and once she got a response she stood up and once Sam and Lianda had done the same thing, she linked her arm through one of Sam’s and one of Lianda’s and first headed back to Ryan’s room. She made her way to the nurse, “Could you bring Ryan through to see his brother when you can please, thanks?” She asked and the nurse gave her a smile, “I am sure that can be arranged.” Frankie then took in a deep breath and headed toward Dominic’s room and despite the fact that he was supposedly still unconscious she knocked on the door before opening it slowly. Moving her arms so that her hands were now on the small of each of Lianda and Sam’s backs she ushered them into the room ahead of her and she closed the door behind her quietly. There were three chairs by the bed thankfully and Frankie waited for Sam to sit on the first one to be closest to Dominic and then she sat on the middle with Lianda to the other side. “You know, apart from the heart monitoring machine and the two drip lines he just looks as if he’s sleeping and has never gone through what he went through, don’t you think?” Frankie asked in a soft voice as she took one of Sam’s hands and one of Lianda’s in her own and just hoping that Dominic would come round soon so they could talk to him, even if it was just for a few moments because she knew that Sam would want to have some alone time with her son and she wasn’t about to deny him that, besides once she knew that her gorgeous son was going to be safe she had someone else who needed her, Lianda. Lianda gave her mom's hand a gentle squeeze in acknowledgement to what she had just said and nodded her head slightly. Just then the door was opened and it was the orderly pushing Ryan into the room. The orderly placed him beside Lianda and Ryan automatically reached for her free hand and took it in his own as they all just sat and waited for Dominic at the very least to open his eyes even if he couldn’t talk to them.

After Sam had said 'okay' in regards to what Lianda had said, she soon nudged him and spoke more. He nodded a little, giving her a weak smile. Knowing he had a little sister who was looking out for him made him happy inside. He had missed having siblings, despite having one from his own family, and now he had two. The hug that Lianda gave Sam made him feel really loved, and hoped that after all the bad that had happened over the past few hours, that good would come out after it all. Ryan commented on how Sam's face looked. It made him wonder if there was a lot of bruising, despite the nose not feeling broken. He knew he might have to get some ice for it, when they got Ryan back to his room. *** Half an hour later **** Sam had wanted to get up to congratulate Ryan on changing his name, when he felt dizzy and slumped back in the chair. He watched as Frankie came over, asking if he was alright, and all Sam could say was he just a bit dizzy. He glanced at Ryan, who explained to Frankie why that was, and Sam sighed, rolling his eyes a bit, not really wanting anyone fussing over him. Ryan, Dom, and Lianda were the ones who needed it more than he did, but there was Sam who didn't like being the centre of attention. Frankie soon told him that they were going to get him to the canteen to get some breakfast, stating the time. Sam nodded, not really having the energy to argue, as really he did need food. So soon enough they were all leaving to go and get some food, Frankie, Lianda and Sam. **** 1 hour later **** Before eating anything, he had asked for some ice for his nose, which had helped a bit. He just ate something small to start off with. Initially the smell of food was making him sick, but he knew he had to eat, or he would be in a hospital bed along with Dom and Ryan. So he forced himself to eat, and started to feel a bit better. Frankie soon asked if he and Lianda were ready, and Sam slowly nodded. He started to feel nervous now, wondering what he might find when seeing Dom for the first time. Sam slowly got up, and didn't feel dizzy doing so. They then made their way to see Dom. They firstly stopped to talk to the nurse about getting Ryan in to see Dom, which was acknowledged, then they headed into Dom's room. Sam started to feel sick again, and almost turned around to Frankie to tell her that she could go in first. But he got some courage to just continue, and headed in after Frankie knocked on the door. Sam slowly made his way to the end of the bed, and held onto the end of the bed with both hands. He just looked at Dom, who did look like he was sleeping, but seeing all the things that were hooked up to him, was getting to him a bit. Sam slowly made his way to the chair closest to Dom, and slowly sat down, holding onto the arm rests. He swallowed again, and then heard what Frankie said in acknowledgement of how Dom looked. Sam slowly nodded, not looking at her, just continuing to stare at Dom. Though the next thing he felt was Frankie's hand in his own, and this started him to get emotional. Sam felt his chest start to heave, and as he closed his eyes, he felt a tear fall down his face, then another one on the other side of his face. He quickly rested his head on Frankie's shoulder, and began to cry softly. Sam heard Ryan being wheeled in, but didn't move his head to look at him. He wiped at his eyes, but more tears fell, so there was no need to try and get rid of them. After a few minutes, Sam removed his hand from Frankie's, and moved forward in the chair, reaching to take Dom's hand in his own gently. He wiped at his eyes and face with his other hand, then looked at Dom. "Sweetie, wake up okay? I just want to see your beautiful eyes again." That was all Sam got out, before he placed his head next to Dom's hand on the bed, and began to cry uncontrollably. Just when he thought he had cried enough over the last few hours, more came.

Dominic had been having the nicest dream while he was in his unconscious state, or a better way to put it, while he was in his deep sleep recovering from the operation he had gone through. Obviously being unconscious more or less since the stabbing he still had no idea of the events that had happened. He would have been so angry to find out that Simon had turned up at the hospital and he would be devastated to hear of his brother-in-law’s death, but right now they were things he didn’t need to hear as he continued to get his strength back. The dream hadn’t exactly continued passed the kiss but it seemed to be on some sort of repeat as the same sequence kept being played over and over. However the stronger he was becoming the dream was beginning to have a slight twist, where he was seen walking down the aisle carrying a bouquet. If it hadn’t been for the fact that he was still in his deep sleep state he would burst out laughing looking at the faces of his dad and brothers Eduardo and Ryan in particular as their mouths had fallen open and they were just shaking their heads.
The fact that humour was coming into his dream could only mean one thing; that Dominic was coming back. Slow but sure, but definitely on his way back. As his dream began all over again this time he could have sworn he heard Sam’s voice, but it wasn’t just in the dream, it was like it was beside him. Sam said something about waking up and wanting to see his eyes again. That voice was all Dom had needed to bring him back from the deep sleep he had been in since the operation. He did try to open his eyes at that point but they felt so heavy it was almost like they were super glued together. Then he felt or at least he was certain he could feel Sam’s head next to his hand. Just feeling the flesh next to the skin of his hand was making the strength within him continue to grow and then he felt his hand getting wet from the tears that Sam had begun to cry. As Sam’s crying became uncontrollable it was enough for Dom to fight back with this new inner strength he was finding.
The fingers on the hand which was next to Sam’s head moved slightly and then he moved them again and feeling like he had enough strength he moved his hand so that it was on top of Sam’s head and used his fingers to gently and slowly run through his hair in a soothing way. Then his eyes finally began to open slowly. He was staring up at the ceiling at this point and as he moved his eyes to the right first, away from where his family were waiting, everything was blurry. So he wanted to gain his focus before turning to face them as he wanted to be able to see them clearly. He continued to run his fingers gently and slowly through Sam’s hair and slowly his eyes began to gain focus and he turned to the left where his family were; there was Sam naturally, his mom, his sister and his brother Ryan. He knew that his dad and Eduardo wouldn’t be there as one was out of State and the other out of the country.
He wanted to be able to talk but he wasn’t sure if he would be able to or not as his throat felt incredibly dry. But he couldn’t stay quiet. His side where he had been stabbed was sore, but nothing like the pain he had been feeling before the moment he thought he would die and never see Sam or his family again. The strength was continuing to grow within him probably because he wanted to be able to talk to Sam again so much. He took in a deep breath and opened his mouth to try and talk anyway. “Sam... My darling... I never... thought... I would... get to... see... you again.” He managed to say in broken, dry and sore words and then he glanced in the direction of the water, he could have possibly tried to reach for it but he didn’t want to move his hand from Sam’s head and the other had the drips in it and he didn’t want to dislodge them. He then looked at his brother, then his sister and finally his mom giving each one of them a weak smile, “Hi.” He said simply.

When Ryan had told his mom why Sam was feeling a bit dizzy he heard Sam sigh and then caught him roll his eyes slightly. Ryan felt like he was being the bad boy telling mom on them both, but really Sam needed to eat. He never said anything but gave Sam that look as if to say don’t argue with your family and left it at that. However it would appear Sam wouldn’t have had much luck in arguing anyway as his mom soon marched him and his sister off to get breakfast. Ryan was hungry too but he knew that he would be able to eat when the doctors and hospital said he was good to do so, in the meantime he just needed to close his eyes and rest up and that’s exactly what he did do. **** 1 hour later **** Once they had eaten Frankie asked if they were ready to go and see Dominic now and they all began to make their way back to Dominic’s room. On their way Frankie had asked for someone to bring Ryan in when they were ready and soon enough they were all sitting around the left side of Dominic’s bed. Frankie had made a comment about how Dominic looked like he was just sleeping if they hadn’t known any better. No words had been spoken from Sam or Lianda, but she knew they had acknowledged what she had said, as Lianda had squeezed her hand and Sam had nodded his head. Really it was just a waiting game. Soon after Frankie had taken Sam’s hand she heard him begin to cry and she gently squeezed at his hand then, caressing it with her thumb. She knew how he would be feeling, and she was devastated too, for Dominic and for the death of Tony but right now she felt like she had to be the strong one to hold it together for all of them. Frankie then felt Sam’s head rest on her shoulder as he continued to cry and she brought her hand up to hold onto the back of his head and gently smoothed the back of it with her hand. Then Ryan was wheeled into the room and a short while later Frankie felt Sam move away from her shoulder so naturally her hand stopped caressing the back of Sam’s head. Frankie then watched as Sam took Dom’s hand and began to speak to him. What he said just made her eyes fill up with tears of her own despite trying to remain strong. She glanced at Lianda and Ryan and they too were emotional, she could tell. Emotions ran high in Italian families, it was easy to see, especially with the Salvatore brood. Frankie didn’t dare hope that what Sam had said would bring Dominic round, but she desperately wanted to know that he was okay. Frankie wasn’t even aware that Dominic had woken slightly until she saw his hand on top of Sam’s head but when she looked he was looking in the opposite direction to them. She put her hand up to her mouth and whispered, “Oh my god, my gorgeous son is coming back to us.” She squeezed Lianda’s hand then and Lianda turned and gave her a smile, the brightest one she could give considering she was still grieving for the death of her husband. Ryan then looked at his mom and his sister, “I’m just so glad that I was able to save him. I’m just so glad that I found you when I did, or... or...” But he couldn’t finish his sentence as he had to bite back some tears. Thinking that his twin brother might never have made it didn’t bare thinking about. Dominic then spoke but he was speaking to Sam in what was broken words and what sounded like a dry throat. Ryan noticed that he was looking at the water but as Sam was closest to the bed it made sense for Sam to give him some. Then Dom looked at him then Lianda and then their mom and he said simply ‘hi’ to them. Ryan grinned back at him. “Hi yourself twinnie, it’s so good to see you again, you gave us quite the scare.” Ryan said in a soft voice and then he looked at Lianda and his mom to see what they would say. Frankie was first to speak. “Yes you did my gorgeous boy, we have been so worried about you, and I am just so glad that you are going to get better.” Lianda wasn’t sure she would be able to say anything as she was still feeling the loss of Tony which was only natural. However she knew that her brother despite his current state would get suspicious if she didn’t say something. “Yeah, we’ve been worried about you bro, thought I was going to lose my eyeliner buddy.” She said and gave him as big a smile she could. Frankie was the next to speak saying, “You know what my gorgeous boy, I think we are going to go and leave you and Sam alone for a while, we can come back later. Ryan needs his rest and has to recover himself and you don’t need to know this yet, but I have to get Lianda back home, there are things we have to discuss.” She then stood up and with her hand on Sam’s back gently she then leant in and bent down to kiss Dominic on the forehead. “So glad to have you back with us my darling.” She then bent down and kissed Sam on the cheek, “Don’t go wearing him out and sending him back again.” She said in a teasing way and then with her hand in Lianda’s she began to make her way out of the room. The orderly then took Ryan in his wheelchair and took him back through to his own room so he could rest up and continue to recuperate. {ooc - and Ryan, Frankie and Lianda out of this thread now. Good for Stacey to come in}

As they sat at Dom's bedside, Sam had rested his head on Frankie's shoulder, and cried a little. He soon felt Frankie's hand on his head, and the way she was moving it down on his head it felt so nice, and reassuring. Though deep in his heart, he was wanting Dom to do that movement. Wanting to hear Dom's voice, wanted to see his beautiful eyes again looking at him. He just wanted his old Dom back with him, and wanted everything to go back to normal.
Sam had taken Dom's hand, speaking to him, but then had burst into tears, and rested his head on the bed near Dom's hand. It was too much, and just wanted his lover back. As he cried, Sam could feel his whole body shaking, and he didn't have the energy to make the emotions stop, just letting them continue on. As he continued to cry, Sam felt a hand on his head, and thought that it was Frankie again, but he soon realised that the hand was doing it's movements in a different position. He soon realised that the hand he had been holding was no longer in his grasp, and Sam instantly sat up.
Through sobs, Sam looked in amazement that it was Dom who had had his hand on his head, and who was now looking in their direction. Sam couldn't find his voice right now, he was just so happy that Dom was starting to wake up for them. It was like his thoughts and prayers had been answered, or all of their thoughts and prayers. Sam got up out of the chair, and leaned over Dom, running his hand down one side of his face. "I am just happy that you are awake." Dom then talked in his own time, and Sam took in every single word. More tears fell from Sam's eyes, and he closed them to try and cut them off. When he oped them again, he looked at Dom. "I tried not to think like that... But it was in the back of my mind."
Sam took in a deep breath, then kissed Dom on his forehead. He moved his face a little, but still close to Dom's, and whispered. "I love you with everything I have." Sam then slowly moved back, and sat in his chair, just feeling so overwhelmed with everything. Then he heard Dom say 'hi' to the rest of the family in the room. Sam glanced at Frankie, Lianda and Ryan, and had the biggest smile on his face, despite the tears occassionally falling down his face. Ryan spoke to Dom, and Sam turned his attention back to Dom, not wanting to look away from his face. He heard what Frankie said next, and nodded at Dom, as he wiped at his eyes. Sam was very happy that Dom was going to get better, but he also knew that it was going to be a long road ahead of them in order for Dom to recover. Hearing what Lianda said lastly made Sam chuckled a little through the tears.
Frankie spoke again, and Sam turned to her when she spoke. "Are you sure?" Then he remembered what she said about having things to discuss with Lianda at home. Sam nodded, "I understand. And will call if there is any change at all." He gave them all a weak smile, then watched Frankie say goodbye to Dom, then she kissed Sam on the cheek, telling him not to wear him out. "I won't. I promise." He would hate for something to happen with Dom now, after all they had been through.
Once they all left, Sam took Dom's hand in his own. "I am so glad that you are awake. I don't know what I would have done if I had lost you, Sweetie." His heart started to beat a bit faster, and felt a tear fall down his face. Sam quickly wiped it away, chuckling a little.

When Dom had been running his fingers through Sam’s hair gently he had been trying to gain some strength and get focus so that when he turned to look at his family he could see them properly. However after a minute possibly of doing the movement on Sam’s head he felt Sam move and his hand gently flopped back onto the bed and he soon saw Sam look at him with what Dom could only describe as amazement on his face and a lot of tears in his eyes. Just looking at Sam like that was bringing out Dom’s own emotions and having no proper control right then the tears began to flow easily despite not actually sobbing heavily.
He then watched Sam get up from the chair and was soon leaning over him and when Sam’s hand made contact with his face running it down he took in a deep breath slowly and closed his eyes just loving the feel of his lover’s hand on his skin. Sam soon spoke saying he was so happy that he was awake which made Dom give him a small smile and then he had spoken to Sam in broken words with a slightly dry throat that he thought he would never see him again. Dom saw more tears fall from Sam’s eyes and even though he was crying himself he lifted his free hand up to Sam’s face and gently wiped at the tears under one of his eyes and then the other. “There... is... no need... for those... now.” He said slowly and then giggled ever so slightly as it was hurting so much, giggling at the absurdity of his words when he too was crying. Sam then said that he had tried not to think that he wouldn’t see him again but it had been in the back of his mind.
Dom nodded his head gently, “I... understand... my darling.” He replied and then glanced at the water, “Do... you... think you... could hand... me that... over please?” He asked Sam and once Sam had passed him a glass he took it from him and began to sip on it gently feeling the coolness and wetness easing his throat making it feel much better for talking. He then handed it back for the glass to be put back on the bedside table as he didn’t want to strain himself too much right then.
When Sam kissed his forehead he closed his eyes again once more loving the feel of Sam’s lips on his skin, he would have loved to have felt them on his lips but he knew that it really wasn’t that appropriate right then and once he was feeling better and could leave the hospital they could make up for loss intimacy. The gentle intimacy at least, he felt like he had missed Sam’s affectionate kisses and cuddles since the tragic event the day before. Sam then moved slightly but still very close to him and told him in a whispered voice that he loved him with everything he had. This made Dom smile a little more than he had been doing and felt the tears fall again. With his throat feeling less irritated and dry now he felt like he could talk a little more easily. “I love you more than life itself; in fact you are my life.” Dom said and gave Sam a loving smile as he sat back down in the chair again.
As his family spoke to him one by one Dom answered them one by one. “It’s good to see you too twinnie and I’m sorry.” He said to Ryan, twinnie was something the two of them had decided to affectionately call each other. When Ryan had said that he had given them quite the scare he felt the tears fall from his eyes once more. He hated the fact that he had put his family through so much grief while he was unconscious despite it not really being his fault. His mom then spoke pretty much agreeing with Ryan and adding that she was glad that he was going to get better. “You can’t get rid of me that easily, I’m tougher than I look.” He said to his mom giving her a warm smile through the tears that were continuing to fall. Then Lianda spoke about losing her eyeliner buddy. This made Dom giggle a little despite the pain and then he winked at her oblivious to her personal pain, “Never sis, I love my eyeliner way too much, I bet I look a right mess just now with it smeared all over my face, the biggest panda eyes ever.”
Lianda shook her head and gave him a weak smile, “You don’t look that bad, but hey, hold a second bro.” She then went into her bag and pulled out the pack of makeup remover wipes she carried with her and stood up and gently wiped around her brother’s eyes until all the smeared eyeliner and eye shadow was gone. “There, you look perfect now.” She then kissed him on the forehead before going back to her seat. “Thanks sweetie.” He said to her and gave her a warm smile. The next thing his mom spoke about leaving him and Sam alone, adding that Ryan had to recover himself which was understandable and then something about Lianda and a discussion but he didn’t need to know it yet. He looked at his mom with a raised eyebrow but knew better than to question it with the look she gave him right after. He gave her a smile and then replied saying, “I understand.” Sam had then asked his mom if she was sure about leaving them alone. “Yes, I am sure Sam darling.” Frankie replied and then Sam said that he understood and would call if there was any change. “Thank you darling.” She replied and then she said her goodbyes to Dom and then to Sam telling him not to wear Dom out in a teasing voice and Sam replied saying he wouldn’t. “I was teasing darling, but okay.” With that she left with Lianda and once Ryan was taken back to his room by the orderly it was just Dom and Sam alone together.
Dom soon felt Sam’s hand in his own and he began to speak to him saying he was so glad he was awake and not sure what he would have done if he had lost him. When Sam called him Sweetie it made Dom begin to cry again. Dom squeezed Sam’s hand gently, “I don’t know what I would have done if I could never have seen your face again my darling Prince.” He said softly as he lifted Sam’s hand to his lips and kissed the back of it. “I was dreaming you know when your voice brought me back, I was dreaming of our wedding. We were so happy together. The same dream kept repeating itself, that and your voice and the thought of knowing that I could get to see you again helped to bring me back.” Dom said finding that his strength was returning and growing stronger by the minute.
Dom saw that tear fall from Sam’s eye but Sam soon wiped it away chuckling a little after it. Dom smiled warmly at him with tears in his own eyes, “I think you’re entitled to be like that, as long as the tears are happy then that’s all that matters. All of this though has just made me want to marry you all the more. Life is too short, I might not have survived and I would have died without us being married and that would have tortured my soul.” Dom said lifting his hand up to Sam’s face again and pressing it against his cheek gently. Dom was basically telling Sam that he wanted to marry him as soon as he could despite knowing that Sam would likely want to wait until the school holidays had started which made sense. They were already into April, so July wasn’t that far away really, he could wait until then couldn’t he? He had to fully recuperate first too.

Sam chuckled nervously as Dom wiped the tears away from under one of his eyes, and then spoke through a staggered sentence. "Okay. But they are happy tears." Sam wiped under his other eye, hoping that his tears would stop, not that Dom was awake. Sam then spoke more, and Dom said that he understood. He still felt bad for thinking like that, despite pushing the thoughts away so often durin the last few hours.
Dom the asked if Sam could hand him over the water that he was glancing at. Sam looked, but then wondered if he should have it, as he had a drip still in. Though if the water was there, then it was there for a reason. He picked it up, and turned the straw around so that it was facing in Dom's direction. He held the glass with Dom as Dom drank from it. As soon as Dom was done, Sam put it back on the table beside his bed.
Sam had whispered to Dom that he loved him with everything he had, and soon saw those tears of Dom's. Though the smile that he viewed was getting to what he was used to seeing, and that made Sam smile back. Dom soon shared his own feeling towards Sam, and hearing him say that Sam was his life, that just made Sam chuckle a little, and feel his face flush. Never, in his whole time of having a partner, did he ever get spoken to like that. This is what he loved the most with Dom, his words, and the effect that they had on him all the time. Sam moved a little, and took Dom's hand, "Well I am here to be there every step of the way."
Hearing the talking and banter going on between Dom and his family was just nice. He knew that soon enough, when Dom was back to normal, he would be back to his old self, which Sam couldn't wait for. The part that Sam loved the most was when Lianda came over and cleaned up Dom's face. To be honest, Sam never really took much notice of the make up that had gotten ruined on Dom's face. He saw right through that, and pretty much it was like that all the time. Sam was glad to know the true person behind the performing shell that was Dom on stage, and in the spotlight.
Once Dom's family had left the room, Sam was alone with Dom, which he was kind of glad about. He wasn't shy about showing his feelings and affections towards Dom in front of others, but something were always best when alone. Sam hadn't meant to make Dom cry again when he spoke, but he did. He gave Dom a sad look, "Didn't mean to make you cry." Dom then replied to what Sam had said, and that made him sniff back a few tears. Sam squeezed his hand, "Let's forget our thoughts from the last few hours, as they aren't needed now." Sam gave him a warm smile, then watched as Dom lifted his hand, and kissed the back of it.
Dom then spoke, and Sam listened to him about the dream he had. He hadn't gotten into great detail, but it was enough to make Sam smile at what he had dreamt about. "Well we are happy, and that is all that matters right now. And I am glad that I brought you back like that. I had the urge to talk to you, despite knowing that you wouldn't be able to reply."
When Sam had wiped away the tears, Dom said that he was entitled to be like the way he was, as long as they were happy tears. Sam nodded, then heard what Dom said next. His heart skipped a beat, and knew how Dom was feeling. In some ways, Sam was too, and everything that they, or mainly Dom had been through, maybe it should all come ahead. When Dom placed his hand up to Sam's cheek, Sam closed his eyesm, and took in Dom's touch that he had missed so much over the last few hours. Sam opened his eyes, and just stared at Dom.
Sam then got up and sat on the edge of the bed, thinking that he was going to sound crazy for thinking this. "Why don't we just get married next month? You wanted to get married, but not when Stacey and David were, so why not the end of May, or whenever you are ready in yourself. I don't want you to push yourself at all. Maybe it will be too soon. Forget I said anything." Sam slid off the edge of the bed, and sat on the chair again. He then slowly glanced at Dom to see what he thought. He kept thinking of all the things that Dom had just said, and it was now making him think that really they needed to get married.
