Gabriel watched as a stray can bounced off of his chest. He was trying to be calm, but he just couldn’t do it. He flipped his right hand and a bulb of lightning was in his hand. He was going to throw it at Henry, but then decided not to. He made the lightning bulb disappear. “You’re just like me, you stole the man’s ability, and he had telekinesis” He said as he closed his eyes unfreezing time.
He looked over at Claire. “I’m not going to argue with you, but he is just like me, so I would be carefully, he might cut off your head next” He said as he eyes were a darker color. “And he needs structure, but I don’t think he can handle structure” Sylar snapped.
He had no clue what the hell was going on in his head, but all of sudden. He wanted to kill the two of them. He was trying his best to control it. However, there was a bunch of glass bottles around and he broke them and used his hand to summon the pieces of glass that were pointed at Henry and Claire. He was going to kill them with glass. However, he couldn’t bear to do it. He just let the pieces of glass fall.
“I’m sorry…but I’m never going to be good” He said as he used his telekinesis to summon the pieces of glass again and made them come towards him. One of the glasses hit him, in the forehead and all of them dropped to the ground as a piece of glass was lodged his brain. He feel down to the ground and vanished randomly…leaving Henry and Claire alone.

"How'd I..." Henry started. Henry's eyes went wide at the sight of the lightning bulb. He couldn't understand it. He thought Gabriel had intuitive aptitude, not time manipulation or electrokinesis. He sat there in fear off what might happened. The man looked like he was ready to kill. What Gabriel told him next made him wonder. Suddenly things started to make sense.
His power was to understand, to comprehend and repeat. If someone had a power, and Henry figured a way for that person's power to work, then it was possible for him to copy it. He turned his head to the corpse. Gabriel was right. The man must have had a power, it was the only way he could explain how he moved those cans. "But...I..." Had he really killed the man on purpose just to get knowledge of how his powers work. No, there had to be more to this. He had to find out more about this.
Henry suddenly found time to have returned to normal. Glass bottles broke all around them and they rose at Gabriel's command, pointing towards them. "Wha...What are you doing?" Henry asked fearful. It was already traumatizing to know that he might have truly killed a man just to get in his head. But when they fell he breathed easily.
Then Gabriel summoned them again, this time at himself. "NO!" Henry cried out. He might have known the man that well, but he didn't want anyone to kill themselves. There was also something more. Gabriel and he had the same power. If there was anyone who knew how it worked, how to control it, it was Gabriel. Screw structure, Henry was too impatient for that. He held out his hand, using his own stolen power to stop them from flying at him. However, Henry was too confused, too stressed to use it at its full extent. Only a couple of glasses stopped mid air, the rest continued their journey.
At the sight of Gabriel's head being pierced by a shard of glass, Henry dropped his control, letting his own glasses fall. That was the last thing he saw before going into a state of shock. His mind couldn't take it. Seeing someone kill themselves, learning he was a killer, using an active power. He fainted on the spot.

Suddenly everything went back to normal and time was normal again and Claire was back in the picture having not known time was frozen at all, other than the fact Henry was in an even more confused state than before. She looked at Gabriel with disgust, just as she was beginning to come round to the idea of actually being related to him, he goes and does something like this. Looking at him with clenched fists and gritted teeth, "Don't you ever do that to me again" she shouted at him. She wouldn't have known he'd frozen time, but she could tell he'd done it from Henry's sudden change.
"I still don't think he's like you" Claire said snapping as she stood up for a second, moving toward him, pointing her finger into his chest. "Nobody could be like you!" she snapped, and went back to sit beside Henry again, and once again hugged him to her. She was not going to lose her best friend and brother. She would not allow it to happen.
The next thing she knew Gabriel was using his telekinesis to break bottles and move pieces of glass toward the both of them. She looked at him with fear and anger in her face, "What do you think you're doing Gabriel?" she asked him looking from him to Henry and hugging him closer to her, not just for fear for herself, because she could heal, but fear for Henry. When Gabriel said he was sorry he would never be good, Claire laughed scoffing.
"Yeah, you got that right" then she watched as he moved the broken pieces of glass toward himself. And as Henry screamed out no, she just pulled him tighter to her. "Don't worry about him Henry" she began in a bitter voice, "He stole my ability, he can't die, so don't let him make you believe he can, he just needs someone to take that out of there and he'll be just fine" Claire said hoping Henry would understand and believe her.
It brought her back to thinking of that time she had died, when someone had pushed her and her head got lodged into a tree bark. She had died, and of course in the autopsy room as soon as they removed the offending object Claire began to wake up and watched in horror as she saw her insides revealed because they had began to cut her open to find out what had caused her death, which was beyond Claire, because really it was obvious, the big bit of bark in her head was what caused her to die.
Then she looked at Henry, they were alone. Just as Claire was about to speak to Henry he had fainted. She took the water she had previously given him and splashed some of it on his face, until she was certain he had woken up.
"I wont let anything happen to you, do you understand me?" she said in a firm yet caring voice. "You're my best friend, I love you like a brother and I will not let you become like him, he took my power Henry, I should have died, but because of my power I didn't die. But it left me unable to feel pain, so I don't feel normal. But you are still normal, you can remain normal, you can control this, and if you can't, I'll take you to my grandmother to give you the injection which helps curb the hunger for more, because I will not let you get like Gabriel, I swear my life on it" Claire continued to say as she continued to hug Henry to her.

(Because I'm too lazy to switch, I'm going to do Amanda, James, and Henry in this post)
James was having a meltdown. It had been hours since the normal time when Henry was supposed to arrive home. At first he had thought the younger boy had just decided to go to the park or hang out with his friends. But that still didn't explain the boy's absence. Henry was responsible and knew to call if he was going to be late. It had been hours now and still no sign of his brother and no call. James was practically weiring a hole into the floor.
"James, will you stop pacing. You're going to weir a hole into the floor." Amanda said from where she sat in Henry's recliner. "I'm sure he's fine. Maybe he just lost track of time." Amanda reasoned. However, she had to admit that she was worried too. James and Henry were important people in her life and she couldn't help but worry about him.
"I can't help it. He should be home by now." James said and he continued to pace back and forth. His protective brother instincts were kicking into full gear. HE had heard of their father working at the school Henry was going to. If the boy hadn't begged James to let him remain James would've pulled Henry out of that school faster than you could say "SUV". The only thing that allowed James to remain calm about the whole thing was the fact that Amanda taught there as well.
"I'm going to go find him." James said as he walked over and picked up a coat. Amanda stood up and stared at her cousin as if he was insane.
"What do you mean you're going to find him. New York is a big place James. HE could be anywhere." Amanda said. Although, she too had half a mind to go out and find the boy. With her powers, it was likely she could find him faster. James on the other hand didn't seem to mind the long search. "How are you going to find him anyways?"
"I planted a tracking device in his cell phone." James said. There was an awkward pause.
"You did what?" Amanda asked, breaking the awkward silence that had ensued between them. Did he actually plant a freaking tracking device in his brother's phone. God talk about being overprotective.
"Look I was worried. If anything happened to him..." James didn't finish. He only let the sentence hang in the air. Without a further word, James felt through the front door. Amanda stood there for a second before picking up her own coat and followed her cousin out.
"Wait for me."
The ride was long and silent. Both of them thinking of what might have had happened to their youngest family member. James was driving through the streets of New York at an unsually fast pace. Amanda was directing him in the direction the computer, which they were using to track the signal from Henry's phone, was pointing. "Turn here. Left...Ok. Ok stop. He's over there!" Amanda said, pointing down an alley. James slammed the breaks, giving both of them whip-lash. "Ow."
James flew out of the car with Amanda close behind. As they got to the threshold of the alley, their eyes spotted two figures, one of which they recognized. "Henry!" James nearly screamed as he ran over to the younger boy, who was starting to stir. James recognized the blond girl from the wedding Henry had taken him to. Claire if he recalled, she was the bride. "Henry, come on kid wake up."
Henry stared blankly at his brother and his cousin as she came into sight. His eyes darted to Claire before returning to his brother. "I wanna go home." he managed to say. James smiled sadly.
"Ok, we'll get you home kiddo." James told him before lifting him up. The older Ward turned to Claire. "Thanks for taking care of him." James said. He knew the girl couldn't have done anything to the boy and from what he saw, she had been watching after him. Amanda turned to the blond as James took the boy to the car.
"We'll call you after we get him into bed. He looks like hell. What happened?" she asked.

Claire wasn't sure if Henry had heard anything she had said to him while she was trying to wake him up with the water on his face, but she really hoped he had. She wanted him to know how much she cared for him, and how much she wouldn't let anything happen to him. He was her best friend, but he was more than her best friend, he was like her brother.
Of course Sam was her original best friend, but he was much much more than that now, he was her soul mate and husband, Henry automatically filled the spot of best friend when Sam and Claire took their friendship to the next level.
Claire could only sit watching over Henry, until he had hopefully woken up. However her attempts failed as Henry remained out cold and had heard nothing of what she had said to him. It didn't matter to Claire though, she'd make sure he was alright. She'd take care of him, somehow, some way or other. She would never give up on him, not even if he killed someone else, because it was a part of his power, this hunger thing. It wasn't really Henry. Just like Gabriel was taunted to become who he was.
However now Gabriel was who he was because it was what he wanted, which was why Claire hated him so much. Hated him for taking her power and hated him for everything he had done. He even made Peter go evil, and it would seem nothing was bringing Peter back to the good side. Nothing. Soon some voices and rushed steps broke into Claire's thoughts.
She looked up to see an older looking guy with a blonde haired girl, they seemed to be in a panic over Henry. She knew the guy was Henry's older brother, only because Henry had asked if he could bring him.
"Hey, you're back with us" Claire said softly as she looked at Henry whom at that point she was still hugging to her. "Of course you want to go home" she said, and stood up, helping James lift Henry to his feet.
"Not a problem James, I'd have called you but I didn't have your number" Claire said giving him an apologetic look.
"What happened? Too long a story for right now, you need to get him home, I'm Claire, a good friend of Henry's and I have to assume you're his cousin Amanda, since you're with his brother James" Claire said in a rushed voice, she knew they had to get Henry home.
"Here's my number, give me a call and we'll meet up for a coffee and I'll tell you everything" Claire said as she touched the girl on the arm with her hand and left her to go to the car and get Henry home. Then she made her way back home with a heavy heart, what ever happened, she'd make sure Henry was safe, what ever it took she would not let Henry become Sylar.
