20th November, 2008
As well as the young Sam Norton, it turned out there were a few other people interested in positions within the school. Even though Niki knew two of them, and that they would be more than capable of the job at hand, she still felt she had to give them a brief interview with an explanation of the job at hand.
The school was only going to open from Monday until Wednesday, with two days of power classes and one day of normal classes. It meant the kids were still getting taught in the way of their power, the way to fight, and still be taught in normal lessons, but allowing them a little more freedom than a normal school.
Now she sat back and smiled as Lance Fox walked into the room.
"Please take a seat and thank you for coming" Niki said smiling.

Lance walked into the room with a smile on his face. He wanted to look cheerful and kind. He wanted this woman to drop her guard and see him for want most of his patients see him as. A kind man who listened to one's problems. While in reality, Lance was anything but that. He smiled at Niki for two reasons. The first was to look nice, the second was because he knew he was going to get the job.
"Good afternoon Ms. Sanders. Thank you for seeing me." Lance said and he sat down. He shook the woman's hand before returning to his seat.

When the man smiled at Niki, she smiled back. Good start she thought. Always nice when you get a smile from someone.
"Good afternoon Mr Fox" Niki said smiling again. She hated all this interviewing. She wished Angela could have come and done it herself, it was her idea for the damn school in the first place. She sighed gently to herself.
"You're welcome Mr Fox, now tell me, what do you think you can bring to the school?" she asked politely, after having shook his hand and sat back in her seat waiting for a response from him.

Lance thought for a minute for what he could bring for the students. He had a degree in psychology so perhaps he could teach a psych class. It really didn't matter to him though. His job was to simply infiltrate the school, manipulate some kids into joining Pinehearst, and steal some files that might be lying around.
"Well Ms. Sanders, you see, I have a degree in psychology. Yes I know, I'm a psychiatrist, but I'm also a counselor. I can help kids with anything they need, be it personal or educational." Lance explained. "I can be a guidance to them when they need someone private to talk to. Now I know any teacher can talk to the students, but I make it my career to help guide kids in the right path."

Niki sat back as she waited on Mr Fox replying to her question about what he could bring to the school. This was the third person she hadn't taken an immediate warm to, and it was worrying her. Not that she could possibly know they were villains if that was indeed what they were, but she just felt something, and she really couldn't put her finger on it at all.
Now that she had The Haitian at the school, she would speak to him about looking out around the school more. She would point out the adults she felt she wasn't sure about, and hopefully The Haitian would help to keep an eye on anything, should anything go wrong.
However, she listened as he spoke about what he could bring to the school. Keeping up the facade, she smiled as he spoke, and when he was finished, she sat forward in her seat before speaking again in her usual husky voice.
"Well Mr Fox, I think that sounds perfect. Kids can always do with guidance, and with the amount of kids at this school we probably will need more than one counselor, so.." Niki trailed off, thinking about it, what harm could it do to hire him even if she was a little unsure about him. There were enough good people at this school, more good than potential evil anyway.
"When can you start?" she asked, she certainly didn't want him to think she had any reservations or fear about him, because it could cause trouble right here and now if she gave anything away of how she was feeling.
