7th November 2008
It had been several days since Leona had bumped into that guy Henry. He had given her his number, but she hadn't called him yet. He had been so cool with her, she hadn't thought he was that interested and she hadn't wanted to appear too interested. Catch 22 situation? Quite possibly, but Leona would rather be chased, then be the chaser. She just simply didn't work that way.
Today she wasn't out for anything in particular, she just needed to get out of the house. She loved her family, especially her baby sister Laura, but sometimes it all got too much for her, with the whole telepathic thing going on. Having not mastered the shutting off of everybodies thoughts at once, Leona still found it difficult to concentrate at times around a lot of people.
Now she was sitting in a small cafe, lost to the world, sipping on a cappucino wondering what Henry was doing now, and wondering if it was safe enough to maybe phone him now. It had been almost a week now, hadn't it. That wouldn't appear too eager would it? She shook her head slightly, took another sip of her cappucino and then put her head in her hands.
"What have you let yourself in for Leona" she said out loud quietly to nobody in particular.

The cafe was one of the best places in the world to hang out, and everyone knew that. When you just need to sleep, just focus, it was a perfect time. He just wanted to disappear, kind of and the Cafe helped do that. It was like a perfect place, like the best place in the world; the smells, the people, the small bustling and buzzing...sheer perfection really.
The teenager whistled slightly as he kicked the door open and walked inside, sighing slightly. He looked around, seeing nothing major in particular. the line was amazingly long and waiting for it to calm down was the best course of action. Seth looked around ad saw a girl sitting and decided to have some fun as he heard what she said.
"Well, you let yourself into a coffe shop, that's all I know..." He smirked.

Leona was completely lost in her own thoughts for a change, she almost didn't hear the person come up and talk to her. She didn't even get the humour in what he was saying. At least not at first anyway, she was too busy wondering what she should do about Henry.
She looked up at him, and half smiled, as she realised someone had indeed spoken to her. The humour however, went over her head.
"Well, I wasn't talking about being in the cafe actually" she began, and sighed, "I was talking about...." she trailed off, what would he know anyway. "It's complicated, you wouldn't get it" she said instead.

The teenager looked at the girl as he rolled his eyes and moved to sit on the edge of the table. She was cute, that was evident, so what hurt could she be having? Her life had to be fairly happy. Cute, good looking, straight girls got everything they wanted, so how could she be depressed when everything she had or needed was right in front of her. Hm...interesting.
Seth looked at the other still, blinking innocently as he checked the line again. Still long. He yawned playfully as he shrugged. "Oh come on, I'm sure I know a little about what's going on with you." He informed. "I mean, we can't be that different." He said as he cracked his neck. "You're a girl, I'm a boy, and were both sexy." He laughed as he sat down on the chair.
"Alright, so what's wrong random stranger?"

Leona looked at him again as he continued to speak to her, she had to admit he was cute. Very cute in fact, and usually the cutest guys in the world were either already taken or they batted for the other team. She hadn't quite fathomed him out yet, so she didn't have an answer.
Alright, she had to laugh at his boy and girl and sexy line. She wouldn't have thought that about herself, but he was certainly sexy that was for sure.
"Well if you reckon you know what's wrong with me, why don't you tell me?" she callenged him for a minute, then sighed, raised her eyebrow as she waited, and then he asked her what was wrong.
"Well random stranger, guy trouble it would seem" she responded, not really sure what exact guy trouble there really was, it was certainly complicated she thought.

Henry needed some air. Being stuck in a dingy apartment all day was bound to drive someone insane eventually. His brother still had yet to return from D.C. and his cousin was still crashing at his place. So in other words, Henry was bored.
He briefly remembered Leona. No, he would wait for her to call. He wasn't going to go out looking for her. It wasn't his style. Henry was the chased, not the chaser and that wasn't going to change just because he met one girl. Though, he had to admit, she did rile him up.
As he was walking through lower Manhattan, his eyes fell upon a coffee shop. What pulled his attention toward the coffee shop was Leona and...was that another guy?! He didn't know what it was, but he felt something. It was like, a sting in his chest. Was he...was he jealous? No, he wouldn't be, couldn't be. Looking around, Henry decided to wait out behind a phone booth and watch what would happen.

He listened to her for a moment and nodded slowly. He understood that well enough. Almost instantly, Dimitri flowed into his thoughts, causing him to groan slightly at the concept. The man was crazy, hot, amazing, and everything in between, and that, made him worried. It was strange how connected people was. This girl had guy trouble, he had guy trouble. Justin was a hero, he was a hero. He wondered if this girl was also a hero, which would make them even more connected.
He nodded slowly as he rocked on the chair. "The amazing guy troubles." He said with a sigh. "Such a sexy group of people and yet, they cause so much trouble..." He informed with a shrug as he leaned forward, a small amount of mirth dancing in his eyes.
"Anyway I can help? Sometimes its just good to talk."

Leona listened to him talk about guys being a sexy bunch of people yet they can cause so much trouble. She thought about this for a moment and that's when it hit her that he must have been gay right enough. However, she wasn't about to point out the obvious. Thing was if she was lucky enough for Henry to be somewhere near, maybe he'd wonder what was going on with her and this guy.
She leaned forward, resting her chin on her hands and sighed gently. "I don't know to be honest" she said and sighed gently again. Then she looked up at him and smiled, "If we're going to talk might as well not be as a stranger?" she said, and sat herself up and took her hand out and extended it with a warm smile, "Leona Stevens" she said, "Pleased to meet you..." she trailed off since she didn't have his name yet.
"It's nothing much really, just bumped into this guy about a week ago and well there was just something about him, he walked off leaving me his number, but I don't like chasing people" she said and sighed gently again. "And I don't really know what to do about it, do I phone him? Or just assume he isn't interested since he hasn't made a point of trying to locate me?" she asked curiously.

Henry didn't know exactly what was going on from his point of view. From what he was witnessing, it looked like Leona was having a conversation with some guy. He really shouldn't be thinking much of it. Yet for some reason...well he didn't like it. It...it was like...like he was jealous. Jealous, jealous of what?! Frowning, Henry stalked over to the shop.
Composing himself, Henry walked into the shop, making it look like he was there just to get something. He knew what Leona could do, so all he had to do was not think about anything. Just think about something useless or something any guy would think. Hehe, playboy. he thought. That'll do.
After getting what he wanted, he turned and looked up to where Leona and that guy was sitting. "Leona? Hey, what are you doing here?" he asked calmly.

Leona had just poured her heart out about her confusion over the guy she'd briefly met about a week ago to a guy she'd only just met moments ago. Leona didn't know what was worse. Talking about a guy she'd only met a week ago, or talking to a guy about it she'd only met moments ago. She began to shake her head as she waited on the guy answering her.
Then she heard the oh familiar voice of Henry asking what she was doing there. She swallowed hard a few times, and then looked around at him slowly. She gave him a sheepish smile, "Ehm, hi, hello" she began, not really sure what else to do or say.
"Just pouring out my life story to Mr Stranger here" she said pointing to the guy opposite her and then shrugging her shoulders.
