Daphne wasn't in a happy mood. Angela had sent her on some wild goose chase to locate this Matthew Parkman, because she wanted him on her team and she couldn't find him anywhere. Three different States Angela had said he might be, and the third State she had checked still she was unable to track him down. She wasn't amused in the slightest.
What was more, he'd looked mighty cute too. She chewed on the inside of her lip slightly, and sighed, as she decided she wasn't going to search for this Parkman any longer. At least not for a few days anyway. Not until Angela got restless and asked her to go on a hunt again. Or, Angela could just go and find him her damn well self if he was that important.
Speeding to a seat, and knocking papers flying on the street, she sighed and sat down with her head in her hands as she tried to think up of some excuse to tell Angela why she had so far been unable to track down the elusive Matthew Parkman.

Alex was wondering what he was going to do that day as he sat upon a bench. He looked up into the clear blue sky. He remembered that night when he was followed by paparazzi. And when he raged against them. He was afraid of the public nowadays. Afraid of what they could they could do to him.
As he lowered his sight back down to eye level, he noticed papers flying around around him. At the corner of his eye, he noticed someone had sitten next to him. With a little jump and quiet yelp, he looked at the person who sat there. She was a young looking girl with, he had to admit, a funky hair style. He liked this hair style. This sorta turned him on, but he didn't want to show this. He turned his head back to the sky, as he tried to mind his own business.

Daphne had been so lost in her own thoughts about what she would have to tell Angela about not finding Parkman, she hadn't even realised when she sped down onto the seat that somebody else was already sitting there. She only noticed, when she'd heard a noise and she'd turned in the direction she'd heard it, and that's when she recognised him.
He wasn't looking in her direction however. He was looking in the opposite direction, but she had caught a mere glimpse of him, and from what she'd seen, he looked pretty damn cute too. Hah she thought, this could make up for not finding the elusive Parkman.
But he'd turned away from her, so did that mean he didn't want disturbed? Daphne decided she didn't care. Unable to stop herself, she sighed, "You been having a bad day also?" she asked him in a defeatist tones, but smiled at him just the same.
