November 19, 2008 Today was the first day that Gabriel was going to teach a class. He wasn’t the teaching type, but he figure he could at least teach teenagers about how to use their powers. He had a lot of powers to show off. Of course, he wasn’t going to show off his new power, electrokinesis. He was still trying to figure out why he was getting painful shocks. He would figure that out later. He hoped that his electrokinesis didn’t overwhelm him as he taught this class. He also didn’t want his hunger to take control. He still couldn’t believe that Mohinder couldn’t find the formula. He was so close…and now hope was gone. He was just going to live with the hunger, he guessed. It was the best thing, or so he thought. He entered his classroom and sat at the teacher’s desk that was in front and wrote his name with his telekinesis. Gabriel Gray
Intuitive Aptitude He wrote his name and power on the whiteboard. He then placed his feet on the desk and decided to wait for his students. He hoped that he could teach these teenagers. Seriously, they couldn’t be hard right? Or could they?

"Ooh a new teacher, he sounds cool..." Leon thought as he slowly walked to his class. Leon was the social type, he would try to make friends with the new teach as fast as possible. It was simply in his happy nature. Slowly, Leon walked in the room, being the first one there. Looking around Leon saw a field of seats. And at the front of the class was Mr. Gray. He turned to him and smiled, "Hello Mr. Gray. I'm Leon Everett."
Looking at the seats again, Leon didn't have a hard time choosing. On the front seat Leon saw an apparition of himself sitting there. That was Leon's unique power of Short-Term Foresight. Seeing people and things in their destined locations two seconds in advance. "Okay I'll sit there then." Leon sat on his seat waiting for the others. "So Mr. Gray... what do you teach?"

Henry was bored as he walked into class. He was very tempted to prank someone today. As he came in, he stared at the early bird trying to be the teacher's pet. Seriously, who would act like that just to impress the teacher? Was it just who the kid was or was he trying to be a tool.Rolling his eyes, Henry sat down in a desk at the back of class.
Snickering, Henry got out a sheet of paper and started to fold it into a paper airplane. "This it'll teach him to get on the teacher's good side" Henry said to himself in a low voice. He waited until neither of them were looking before flicking the paper plane at the back of Leon's head. In all honesty, Henry didn't care if he got caught, it was all in good fun. Well, fun for him at least.

So tiring last night as he almost exploded last night...exploded with electricity that is. Derlyn was trying to see his limit of absorbing electricity and apparently not that much. Sure it was fun but soon became painful at least he didn't cause a city wide blackout. That would have been BAD he looked in the doorway but then saw just two people in there. Leon and someone else then turned back to hit the wall.
He had too much electricity in his body and needed to get rid of it NOW! Luckily for him there was an electric outlet nearby. Placing his hand near it he sent electricity through the lights only flickered on and off. Good for him it wasn't that much inside of him walking into the room he smiled. Doing that is so relaxing.
"Hey Leon. Wassup?" he said taking a seat right next to him before reading the blackboard. But for some reason he was having problems seeing it, well more like reading. When did he not know how to read. Shaking his head he blinked a couple of times, 'Gabriel Gray, Intuitive Aptitude .' he read in his mind. He would pass up the problem as a fluke.

Gabriel watched as the students came in. He was having regrets about doing and then, he decided that he would just get over this. He was capable of handling teenagers. He had too. He took his feet off the desk and got up. He walked around the desk and sat on top.
“Hello Leon” He said with a smile, “First of all, call me Gabriel no need to call me Mr. Gray, that is my father” He added as he looked around of the students coming in. “So I’m an abilities teacher, I’m going to help you learn how to defend yourself and maybe perhaps help you advance your abilities” He said in a bit sarcastic tone.
“However, that depends if you want to advance your abilities and defend yourself, if you don’t want any of that, I suggest you get out of my class” in a serious tone as he pointed to the door. Seeing if anyone would take his offer. So far no one did.
“So let’s go introduce ourselves and a random fact about yourself, I’m Gabriel Gray and I have Intuitive Aptitude, a random fact about myself is that I used to be a watch repair person…” he was going to say that he was serial killer, but perhaps maybe not at the moment.

Riley was here per Elle's orders. But Riley didn't want to be here. She didn't want to go to an ability school, as she was bound to be bullied here, too. Of course, though, she would be bullied with abilities once they figured out her ability. Riley felt weird sitting in a group of guys. In fact, she felt weird like that because of the things she saw. The guy in front of her flicked a paper airplane at the back of another guy's head. One other kid had made the lights flicker. Had she really just gone from a normal school to an ability school, or had she gone from life into hell?
Riley sighed, and glared at Gabriel. "Gabriel." She growled, "Elle made me come here. I don't need help with knowing how to defend myself, and you know that." She frowned at him, and then at the other kids in the class. It was all Elle's fault. And now Gabriel was her teacher. She was stuck in a room full of bullies--her flight instinct was yelling at her to run now--and now Gabriel was her teacher. Could things get any more weird? Riley sighed again, and clicked her pen. "I'm Riley Bishop, Elle's my sister, and I'm a shield. Random fact... I eat bullies for lunch." Okay, not really, but she was having fun. She smiled, wanting to see the reaction on the boy's faces. Maybe they would figure out that Riley was just a stupid girl, or maybe they would not care. Whatever.

Derlyn listened to the teacher Gabriel Gray, his voice almost cut the air as he spoke seriously. Already he wasn't getting on his bad side seeing Henry throw an airplane he was already going to go insane. Actually he was thinking of frying it. Looking at the girl to the side who was Riley talked about eating bullies for lunch he couldn't help but smile. "I'm Derlyn Ulric Ravenhardt. My power is electromagnetism. Um random fact...uh..." "You have another personality that likes to kill people roaming inside of your head?"[/b][/i] Leon suggested to say in Derlyn's mind. It was really annoying to hear his voice.
And actually Derlyn was thinking about saying that but didn't. That would be way to creepy he could see the people that Leon killed and almost seemed as if he did it his self. Biting his lower lip he tries to think, "Random fact, never thought being random was hard. Okay random fact about me I have an imaginary friend. Best I can come up with" Leon shouting insults literally made Derlyn cover his ears. "DID YOU JUST CALL ME IMAGINARY I'M AS REAL AS YOU!"[/b][/i] he was angry and wanted Derlyn to know it.
And the skull cutting headache he was giving him was his way of showing it. Derlyn was thinking about taking pills. Lots and lots of pills. Or he could try Nikki's way and go to the Company. Maybe after this he would go. Rubbing his ear he blinked multiple times. He wanted know who would go next. But he made a mental note on everyone, 'Gabriel: was a watchmaker, Riley: eats bullies for breakfast.' why did he keep notes on people?

Henry tilted his head a little when he realized the he and the teacher had the same ability. He looked around as other kids came in. Some he recognized, others he didn't. He remembered Derlyn from the previous class but other than him, he didn't see anyone familiar. When the teacher began the annoying round of introductions, Henry rolled his eyes. He wasn't keen on introductions, but at least he wasn't going to leave like the man suggested. He actually took it as challenge and Henry loved a challenge.
He crooked an eyebrow when the man said his power was intuitive aptitude and that he used to be a watch maker. Then the little girl went and Henry chuckled at her comment about eating bullies. "Yeah. Sure you do kid." Henry said. Derlyn went and Henry raised an eyebrow. Imaginary friends? When he realized it was his turn, Henry sat up.
"I'm Henry and I've got intuitive aptitude too. Random fact...I'm good with the ladies." he said obnoxiously. At least he was making his presence known.

Leon stood up and looked around. He had already met Derlyn and remembered Henry from Starbucks a while ago. He smiled at Derlyn and didn't even bother to look at Henry. "I'm Leon Everett. I have Foresight, and a random fact about me is that I work at a burger shack at the beach."
He sat back down and thought about what Derlyn said about his imaginary friend. Leon felt uneasy. He had a small sense that Derlyn's imaginary friend may be something serious. Leon felt Henry was pretty arrogant, he didn't like him very much and wanted to keep to his own business.

Sylar watched as Riley came in. He smiled and laughed as he listened to her say that she ate bullies, for lunch. He also made some mental notes about each and everyone. This class seemed like it was going to be fun. Or so he thought.
“Alright, so we have got into touch with everyone, let’s go to outside and show off our abilities, I guess” He said “Hopefully others will join while we are outside” He said as he shook his head. He didn’t want any more students. He was happy with five.
He slides off the desk that he was sitting on and walked out of the classroom not saying anything. He hoped the students would follow him out. He led them out to the outdoors next to a tree. He folded his arms and waited for everyone. “Everyone gather in a circle” He announced as he sighed, “Derlyn, you’re going to show off you ability, first” He said as he thought of something interesting, “Focus all your electromagnetism on me" He said to Derlyn and he glanced at everyone.

As they left began to leave the classroom outside he stretched his arms out to the sky and yawned. The fresh air did him well and it was good to feel less like a freak. Then when Gabriel said that he was going to attack him he couldn't help but hear the eagerness in Leon's voice. But he quickly brushed it off. He wondered if this guy had something else besides his power he wrote on the board. But Derlyn really wasn't going to go easy he still had a few volts stored from last nights...snack?
Really he didn't know what to call what he did but he did seem to feel not hungry any more. Electricity began to spark violently from Derlyn's shoulders to his hands. The blueish white lightning felt good to exert. "Alrighty then..." Leon broke through the barriers of Derlyn's mind. This causes and increase in the lightning being formed. Extending his arms outward toward Gabriel he closed one eye aiming carefully once the target was locked on Leon sent a massive stream of lightning toward the willing teacher.
The loud sounds of sparking and crackling ran deep through the air Leon was actually curious if he would hit his mark..."This place might not be bad after all." voice more menacing.

Austin was new to this school scene thing he walked in to the class and took a seat in the back. He wasn't the type to make friends on the first day. He just wanted to get through the day alive without his temperature rising and causing all hell to break loose. He had walked in on people talking not actually caring what they were talking about. He just heard bits here and there. Imaginary friends? Eating bullies? What the hell was wrong with these people he thought to himself and shrugged it off. Where and what the hell did he get himself into. Did he walk in to the wrong class or something?
He laid his head on the desk, and rested his head on top of his arms. He knew he was bound to be noticed walking in to class late, but he didn't care. As long as they didn't make him get up and do this stupid activity he would be alright. At the moment all he wanted to do was to be left alone and just sleep. Sleep and being left alone, oh boy he would pay for it if he had to. He let out a sigh as he got up and followed the others to wherever the heck they were going. Yeah, he was definitely bound to be noticed now.

Riley noted the chuckles that came from some of the older kids when she ate bullies for lunch. Well, mabye she had been exaggerating. She didn't technically eat the bullies, she just played around with their minds. She didn't so much pay attention to the other people as they gave out their ability names. In fact, she only listened to the ones that she thought would be bullies. If they didn't know what she meant by her random fact, they would if they tried to bully her. She might be young, but she had a power that Gabriel wanted, and even though that wasn't rare, her power was rare enough that she was the only one that had it. When Gabriel told them to go outside and try their powers, Riley groaned.
When the group reached the outdoors, Riley frowned. "I'm not going to be able to show off my abilities, Gabriel." She flicked her hand, but nothing happened. She knew nothing bad would have happened, it was plain to see that. But, in fact, She had created a shield around Gabriel, even if he didn't need it. "You can't see my ability. I just put a shield around you, Gabriel. Can they practice on me, too?"

Leon stood up and walked towards Gabriel, trying to touch this imaginary shield. "Whoa..." Leon felt something indescribable. He knew something was there but he couldn't see anything. "What is this?" With a closed fist he punched the fist as hard as he can. "Ouch!", Leon exclaimed. This thing had blocked Leon's punch. "That's really cool Riley. I'll go next, Gabriel."
Leon took out a handful of coins from his pocket. "My ability lets me see everything a few seconds in advance. I can see what you'll be doing two seconds from now. But there's no way I can prove that when your sitting still. So I'll take out these coins. ". There were about ten coins in Leons hand. he put his other hand over them and shook them.
"I'm going to throw these coins in the air and tell you how many will land on heads and how many will land on tails." Leon tossed the coins high up in the air and looked at the ground. To Leon, the coins had just landed on the floor, while everyone else saw them flying in the air. Leon looked at their landing spots and saw where each coin would be seconds before they land.
"In two seconds those ten coins will have 3 heads and 7 tails. Two will land near Gabriel's foot, Four will land on front of Riley, one on Derlyn's lap, and two will land an inch in front of my toes."
The coins landed in their destined spots and appeared as they were in Leon's foresight. "I see things both in advance and in current time. That's my ability." Leon gathered his change and sat back down cross-legged.

Henry followed the teacher and the other students outside. As they stopped outside in an open field, Henry felt like rolling his eyes. This could only mean one thing. Power demonstration. Oh how he hated this part. Henry didn't have a power you could visually demonstrate and he doubted the teach had a broken clock on him. Well, the man was a clock repairer so maybe he might.
Henry kept his eyes on the different powers being demonstrated. Riley formed an invisible shield, Derlyn made a lightning shoot out, and Leon predicted coin tosses. "Nice. Bet you win a lot of gambles with that power." Henry remarked. "Well that's a lovely display, but I can't show you anything. You should know that, I mean we got the same power right." Henry remarked.
