Wednesday, 7th October 2009 Exactly seven days ago, Damon's vampire sense came into play, as he sensed his little brother feeling quite passionate. He was a very curious one, when it came to his brother, and had to find out what the deal was. So Damon had stopped his feeding session in Kansas, and quickly flew over to New York, and straight to Brooklyn. Damon had soon been standing in front of an apartment block, and soon sensed the window he must look into. He landed right on the balcony, and saw in full view his brother getting it on with a hot blonde chick. Well, he sensed she was hot, as he could only see the back of her head. Damon's evil grin appeared across his lips. He stood there until the couple moved to the bedroom. Damon of cause had moved to watch the show unfold. Now it was around ten in the morning, and Damon stood in the shadows. He had seen Stefan leave Jo's apartment earlier, but someone else came to visit her. Damon soon eavesdropped and found it was her mother, so he decided to wait it out, till she left. Damon then slowly made his way up the stairs, and reached Jo's apartment door. He closed his eyes, and sensed her inside. She felt good in his mind, just knowing how she was that night with Stefan, moving with him. Damon could only imagine what it would be like if it had been him in that position. But really, he would have been a lot more forceful, and would have shown his true colours to him. Damon was so much more different and powerful to his brother. And he just wanted each woman that Stefan had been with, and he had so far become successful in that department. So now Jo was the next one that he had to play his cards right with. Damon put on a smile, and knocked on the door. As soon as the door was open, he looked at the woman. "Hello. I am new to the apartment building, and was just wondering if you could give me a few hints and pointers about the building." He looked around her place that he could see from the front doo, and then looked back at her, waiting to see if he would be invited in.

Jo had been seeing Stefan Winchester for exactly a week now. After that amazing night of love making, she knew her feelings for him were growing strongly. Jo had never felt like this so quickly and so soon into knowing someone. Even with Marcus, it was gradual, but still this feeling was kind of scaring her a little. But on the other hand, she felt more safe now than ever with Stefan. He knew how to look after her, even coming over every night since, once he finished work. Jo had asked at work for day time shifts, instead of night ones, so that she could spend the night with Stefan.
Lucky for her today, she wasn't needed at work, so decided to spend the day doing some actual cleaning of her apartment. What with working, and being with Stefan, not a lot had gotten done. Well, she had done a lot with Stefan, but cleaning was not part of their nightly agenda. After Stefan had left, which took longer, as Jo kept kissing him, she went into the kitchen and saw the washing up was piled high in the sink. Jo just rolled her eyes, and headed to start on that.
It was all done when her mother came to visit. As soon as she entered the lounge room, Jo told her not to worry that she was cleaning it all today. Her mother gave her that disapproved look, which Jo just shrugged off. Her mother stayed for two hours, too long. But Jo was glad for the help. The apartment was so much nicer, and the washing machine was on doing the laundry. Jo soon said goodbye to her mother, and headed off to check on the laundry. She walked passed her duchess, and saw the necklace that Stefan had given her, and decided to put it on in a second. Jo headed over to the washing machine, putting her hands on it, feeling the vibration it was giving out. Jo closed her eyes, and then wondered how it would feel for her to make love to Stefan on it. She shook her hed, giggling to herself, and saw that it still had half an hour to go till the load was finished.
As Jo was about to head back to the bedroom, there was a knock at the door. She frowned, thinking that it might be her mother again. As she opened the door, she spoke. "Mum, what did you forg..." But all she saw the a man standing at her doorway. She shook her head, smirking. "Sorry, thought you were someone else." Jo looked at him, and thought that his eyes were mezmerising. She continued to look at him as he spoke.
"Well, not sure what hints and pointers I can give you, but you can come in, and we can chat." Jo held the door open, and stepped aside till the guy stepped into her apartment. She shut the door behind them, and then gestured for him to sit on the lounge. Jo remembered that Stefan had instantly sat down, without her even asking if he wanted to sit. She shook her head, and then smiled at the man. "So. What would you like to drink? I can get that, then we can chat." jo smiled at him, and waited for his reply.

When Damon has closed his eyes, sensing her inside, he had felt her and heard her thoughts. A creepy grin crept along is face, just thinking about what she was thinking. He had had sex on several different places around a house, and the washing machine had been one of them, when they were invented. These days they were not as rough as the first ones made, but all the same, it was stil a fastastic feeling having that vibration under the woman while you were inside her. Soon the thought was out of Jo's head, and Damon opened his eyes. Damon then had knocked on the door, waiting for it to be open.
Damon smiled all the more, hearing what Jo was saying out loud. He raised an eyebrow, when she said sorry, and waved a hand in her direction. Damon then spoke, looking right at her, so his words were in her head. He was pleased that she was not immune to his mind control at all, and listened to what she had to say in reply. "Thank you. It would be a good help, with whatever you have to offer." He looked her up and down as he walked passed her, heading into the living room.
The place looked very clean, and remember that her mother had been in there before, so he knew who to acknowledge for the cleanliness. Jo then gestured for him to sit down. "Why thank you." As he sat, he thought he had better mention his name. "Name's Damon by the way. And I will not harm you." He looked right into her eyes as he said it. Jo then asked him if he wanted anything to drink. Damon just shoock his head, looking right at her. "No thank you. I don't expect to be here for long. I only came for some information, and maybe some fun." He blinked slowly, then looked her over again. Damon could see what Stefan could see in her.
Josephine was definately pretty, and her body was definately something that he would love to tap into eventually. Just recalling what he had seen them up to the other night was enough visual stimulation to understand how she moved. Damon could also sense that she was far from dumb. But he also knew that he was going to be able to tap into her head alot, since it seemed that there was no stopping him from glamouring her at all.
"So. Are there any hangouts nearby that I should know about? A local bar or club, or something?" Damon knew that this little adventure would be fun, but really, one chick at a time was boring, and he always wanted fun around the clock.

Just staring into the guys eyes were just awesome in Jo's mind. He seemed so confident, and every word and syllable he said she was carefully listening to. After she said he could come in, he commented that it would be good with whatever she had to offer. For a split second she felt her heart beat a bit faster, like she could just tell what he was suggesting. "It won't be much, but I hope that it will satisfy your curiosity." Jo watched him look her up and down, and didn't think much about it all, like it wasn't worrying her that he was eyeballing her body.
Jo shut the door, then offered him a seat. He thanked her, and she watched as he sat down. He thanked her so politely, and it brought back memories of a week ago, with Stefan being so polite and well mannered. Jo shook the thought out of her head, and then she looked at the guy, as he spoke again. She nodded, when he said his name, and that he wouldn't harm her. "Okay Damon. That's good that you won't harm me." Without hesitaion she said her name. "My name is Josephine." Jo then asked if he wanted a drink, looking right at him again. He spoke, and she nodded.
Jo moved slowly to sit next to him, and looked at him. "Well, with the information that I have about the place, you may only be here for a few minutes. And I am sure that some fun could be had." Jo put her hand on his arm, and continued to look at Damon, not being able to look away at all. His features, especially his eyes and voice were really appealling to her right now. Jo then tilted her head to the side slightly, as Damon asked about the hangouts, compelled to tell him about the one bar that she worked at. "I actually work for a local bar about five blocks away from here. I am not working today, but I am tomorrow. So I am free all day today."
She looked away, and frowned slightly. What was she doing? Her brain was starting to clear a little, like it had been cloudy for some reason. Jo got up, and then headed towards the kitchen. "I just need a drink of water. I will be right back." Jo soon reached the kitchen, and lent across the bench. Why was the name that he said sounded familiar. She reached for a glass out of the cupboard, then it hit her like a freight train. The glass slowly slipped from her hand, where it fell, smashing on the tiled floor. Jo grabbed for the counter, and began to feel a panic attack starting. She closed her eyes, and tried to keep her breathing under control. After a few seconds, she was finding it hard to breath, and slumped to the floor, almost sitting on the broken glass.
All Jo could do was whisper out into the silent kitchen. "Stefan. Help."

As much as he hadn't wanted to, Stefan left Jo's apartment to head for another shift at the hospital as one of their angelic paramedics. Angelic, kind of ironic he should be seen as angelic, when he was a monster within. The difference between Stefan and other vampires however, he didn't embrace what he was, in fact, quite the opposite, he hated what he was. He had been living no animal blood, refusing to feed from humans. This made him a little weaker than vampires who drank human blood, it made him weaker than his brother. However, a couple of days ago Stefan met a guy called Ryan Linderman who had an incredible ability of being able to produce body parts, and human blood.
Stefan agreed to drink the blood Ryan would produce for him, as he knew it would, over time, make him as strong, if not stronger than his brother and other evil vampires out there. The first time he drank it, it made him feel very weird, and the veins in his face were much more black and protruding than before, and his fangs came out almost instantly, as if the human blood had unleashed the monster within. It took him about half an hour to calm the monster down within him, but soon he felt like he was the Stefan he had become over the years, once more.
Now, even after only a couple of days drinking the human blood, he could already feel the difference. He knew at this stage, he still wouldn't be 'quite' as powerful as his brother, but he was definitely far more powerful than he had been over the years since he became a vampire, and Damon would know it, if happened to suddenly appear in his life at this moment. Not that Stefan wanted that, he was quite happy about the fact Damon was out of his life for now, and he would be glad if it stayed that way forever.
Stefan was sitting in the ambulance, with his partner, waiting for a call. He was leaning back in the driver's seat, and soon his thoughts were drifting into Jo. Ever since they had been intimate that night, the connection he had felt, was much more stronger, and he felt it easy to zone in and out of Josephine. However, he still couldn't get into her head, while she was wearing the pendant, and that's the way he liked it. What he could hear, was when she physically spoke out loud, even though he would be miles away from her, they had that much of a connection now, he could hear when she was talking out loud to herself.
It was at that point he heard Jo say something about how it would feel to make love to him on a vibrating washing machine. A slow naughty smile spread across his face and his eyebrows raised at the very thought of that. Love making was explosive enough, that would just give it that extra little jolt you could say. However, there was something different about what he had heard. Then he realised she hadn't said that out loud to herself at all, it had been a thought. The smile slowly disappeared as he realised she couldn't have been wearing the pendant. This immediately worried Stefan, he wished she would wear it, especially when he wasn't with her to immediately protect her.
Finally a call came through the radio, a road traffic accident, involving a young child. Stefan put his foot down on the gas, and all too soon, he had reached the scene. The young boy was lying in the road, severely injured. His natural instincts were to help him, but that was when Stefan felt like someone had just stabbed him through his heart with a spear. There was only one person who made him feel like that, and that was Damon. It meant he was back on the scene, and quite close as well by the feel of the pain he was feeling. It wasn't that he had been stabbed of course, it was just the shock of the connection he had with his brother, whether he wanted one with him or not.
Stefan looked down at the young boy and then he heard Jo say 'Stefan. Help.' He knew it wasn't even that loud, it was like she had whispered it, but it was loud enough in Stefan's head to hear it as clear as if she'd whispered it into his ear right where he was. He felt Damon's presence then as well, and knew he was there, with Jo and Stefan immediately felt anger within him. Jo needed him now more than ever, and the boy lying in front of him needed him also. Stefan was torn. His partner was shaking his head, and looked at Stefan.
"I can't see the boy surviving this, Stefan his pulse is way too weak, in fact, it's hardly there at all." Stefan could hardly hear his partner speak, he was more concerned about what might be going on at Josephine's apartment. He needed to get there. He also knew he couldn't let the boy die. Usually in moments like this, he would quickly give the patient some of his blood, enough to bring them round, not enough to give them a miracle recovery, as Stefan knew it would look too suspicious. He then in a moment of panic over Jo, did something he would never usually do what with his compassion over humans, but decided to glamour his partner. With drinking the human blood over the past couple of days, his glamour should hold a lot more now if not stay.
"The boy will be fine. Go to the ambulance, get the stretcher now please." His partner nodded his head, and as soon as he went toward the ambulance, Stefan immediately bit into his wrist, opening the boy's mouth he allowed a few drops to fall into his mouth, the soon as the boy began to cough and splutter, Stefan removed his wrist, and watched as the wound healed over in seconds, and his partner came back. He looked down at the young boy, with his eyes opened wide.
"He's fine, it's a miracle, he's fine." Stefan just looked up at his partner, with a warm smile. "I told you. I need you to take him back to the hospital. You can drive right? I have to be somewhere." His partner nodded his head, "But what do I say about where you are?" Stefan gave his partner another smile, looking deep into his eyes, and glamouring him once more, "Tell them, there was another patient who needed to be attended to, and the young boy was in more need of hospital treatment." His partner nodded his head, "Very well Stefan."
The soon as the ambulance left, Stefan looked around, making sure nobody was watching, and swooped up into the sky and was at Jo's apartment within minutes, seconds maybe. Fumbling in his pocket for the keys, he soon let himself inside. The minute he walked in the door, Damon's presence was so much stronger. He walked into the living room and that's when he saw him. Jo wasn't there though. Where was she? "Josephine?" He asked, and then shouted again more loudly, "JOSEPHINE?" But before he went get to her, he flew toward Damon and slammed him into the living room wall, not enough to cause damage to Jo's apartment however, but strong enough that Damon would know there was a definite difference in Stefan's strength.
"Stay away from her." His voice was almost a growl, as his hand tightened around Damon's neck, and then with one final push into the wall he let him go, as he sensed Jo in the kitchen and immediately went to her. He kept a medi-bag in the house as well as the one which was in the ambulance just now. He immediately took out the breathing apparatus and began to smooth Jo's hair, as he held the apparatus to her mouth. "Remember, that first night we met Josephine? Just do the same thing, slow long breaths." He then looked in the general direction of the living room and in a voice which sounded like a growl once more, eyes red and black veins out on his face.
"Look what you've done to her. Stay away from her Damon. Stay away from me."

Damon smiled when she said that whatever she said would satisfy his curiosity. He put a hand on her cheek. "I am sure it will." Damon had seen her watch him as he looked her up and down, which led to a smirk cross his lips. He loved talking in innuendos. Better than actual sexy talk in his mind. Just suggesting things in other words that not everyone got was kind of fun in his eyes, and it seemed that Jo was definately understanding everything that he had said.
It seemed the glamouring was definately working on Jo right now. When he spoke, she would basically repeat what he said, slightly in her own words. Damon then raised an eyebrow when Jo instantly offered her name. He moved slightly over to her, and picked up her hand. "That name really suits you." Damon then lent in and kissed the back of her hand for a second, then looked up at her, as he moved his lips away. Oh God, she tastes good too, thought Damon.
Damon almost burst out laughing as Jo spoke about the information she had would only take a few mintues to go through, but she was sure that some fun could be had. He continued to look at her, but instantly felt a hand on his arm. So it seemed that the lion was definately getting his lamb today. She was lapping up everything that he was saying, and was giving out more than he had ever imagined. When he had asked about the hangouts, Damon looked at her all smug as Jo continued to tell him about where she worked. So he knew where she worked now, which would be easy to get into as it was a public place. Damon couldn't wait to do things to manipulate her, and to also piss off Stefan even more.
Damon looked right at her. "Well Josephine. I might have to check out your place of work." Then Jo looked away from him. Damon looked away also, and sighed, feeling happy with himself so far. For one, he had been able to get into Jo's apartment without any struggle. And second, he had been able to get into her head and mess around with her. Well, he had gotten a lot of information out of her already, and he knew if he continued, he would be able to get a lot more out of her yet. Just when he was about to look into her eyes again, Damon saw Jo stand up, heading towards the kitchen, saying that she needed a drink of water. He called out after her, turning around in the lounge. "Don't take too long now."
Damon turned back, and smiled to himself. He really couldn't wait to spend more time in that pretty little head of hers, or for that matter into that pretty little body of hers either. Just remembering that night that he just watched his brother and Jo making love was making him all the more turned on right then. Damon closed his eyes, "Done boy. Now is not the time to make the moves yet. You still need to gain more of her trust." As Damon moved slightly in the lounge, trying to stop the naughty thoughts in his head, he soon heard glass smash in the kitchen. He frowned, but not bothering to get up. Instead he called out. "You okay baby?" No response. "Josephine? Baby?."
Damon was about to get up, when he soon felt his brothers presence in the building. All he could do was roll his eyes, and then Stefan was standing in the doorway. "Well hello brother." Damon gave him a smirk, but got no response in his direction. Damon just gave off a bit of a chuckle as Stefan called out to Jo twice. "She is not in this room Stefan. Stop straining yourself." Again no verbal response, but as Damon looked down at his lap, Stefan flew towards him, slamming him into the wall. "What the fuck?" Damon soon noticed that his brother was different somehow. Stronger, but still not as strong as Damon, which he liked.
When Stefan told him to stay away from her, Damon laughed. "What are you going to do about it? Throw me around a bit in the apartment. Because I don't think 'she' would like it." Again Damon got a non-verbal response, as Stefan tightened his grip around his neck. Putting his hands up in surrender, Damon pretended to give up. Trying to talk through the tight grip, he looked at his brother. "Okay... okay. I give up. I will." Then Stefan gave him another push into the wall, letting Damon go. He coughed, and then smirked. "Well I will stay away, after I get to have a piece of her." Then Damon let out a laugh as Stefan walked in the direction of the kitchen.
Damon rubbed at his neck. "I have to admit, your strength is starting to get up to where mine is. But still no where near as good as mine. Have you been feeding on poor Josephine?" Damon began to walk around the lounge, and in the direction of the kitchen. Damon only got about half way there, when he saw Stefan's face, then heard what he had to say. He stopped in his tracks, and raised his eyebrows. "Whoa brother. I didn't do anything to your new shiny toy. All I did was maybe play with her mind a bit. It was actually kind of fun." Damon loved tormenting his brother so much, it killed him when he wasn't around. Damon loved having fun, and this was the best aspect of it all.
"Now why would I want to stay away from you. You are my brother. My family. Why would I want to stay away. You are all I have." He had begun to put on a sincere look and voice as he talked. But as he got closer to Stefan, Damon couldn't hold back the laughter, and laughed out loud, moving away from Stefan, letting it ring out in the apartment.

Jo somehow felt a blush come over her face, and Damon commented on her name suiting her. Her heart beat a little faster when he kissed the back of her hand. When he looked up at Jo, she gave him a weak smile. "Thanks. If you get to know me better, you might get a chance to call me Jo." She sat back at that moment, thinking that she hadn't even told Stefan that he could call her Jo yet. It just sounded nice him calling her by her full name for some reason. Maybe because she was always used to hearing everyone calling her Jo, it was nice a change to hear her name in full.
After Damon had said that he would have to check out her place of work, Jo gave him a weak smile. "Maybe." Then she had this feeling, a weird feeling, leading her to get up and go and get a drink of water. When she had approached the kitchen, and retrieved the glass, the name Damon had soon hit her, letting the glass fall. Jo soon heard Damon call out to her, asking if she was okay. She shuddered at the name he called her, baby. But now she just couldn't listen to anymore of what he was saying. All Jo could think of was that she was having a panic attack, and it had to be at this time as well. She was alone with a killer, and there was nothing she could do to control that or control her own situation at that point in time. Trying to regain control of her breathing, Jo had hung on to the counter, but nothing she was trying was working, and soon slumped to the ground. At this point, Jo had whisperered out for Stefan's help.
Jo put her head back against the bench, feeling that her panic attack was getting worse. The last time this happened, she blacked out. That was when Marcus had found her in that state, and that was over two months ago. So this bastard of a monster, Damon, was now doing this to her, and she had no control over any of it. All of a sudden as she closed her eyes, Jo thought she heard her name being shouted out. Tears began to form, an slowly roll down her cheek, knowing who that was. Jo couldn't find her voice at that time to call out to him, or even whisper. But she was so glad to hear his voice. As Jo put a hand up to her neck, she heard a loud noise come from the direction of the lounge room. Jo wanted to get up, but she just couldn't will herself. It was enough that she was finding it hard to breath, let alone actually physically get up from her spot on the floor and stand.
Jo's head was starting to swim, and she just knew that this was the part where she would eventually just black out. Her ears started to get blocked, and the voices in the other room were all muffled, and couldn't make out what was being said at all. Jo put her hand up to her head, ready to just lay down and forget everything that had happened, when she felt a presence beside her. Her eyes instantly opened, wide with fear, ready to slide away from Damon. But her eyes were filled with the sight of Stefan. The fear from her eyes slightly subsided. Jo was glad that he was there to help and protect her, but she was still rather scared with the attack.
Jo had listened to everything that Stefan had told her about his brother Damon, but she never expected to come across him so soon. They were definately different, and in a way, Jo was glad that she had come across Stefan, the good brother. If Damon had been there that night that she had been having her panic attack, who knows what would have happened. For all she knew, she would have ended up a vampire like the both of them were. But would that have been so bad? But then really, she wouldn't have had the amazing night she had with Stefan. That was one night she will never forget, at all.
Once the breathing apparatus was on over her mouth, she felt Stefan's hand begin to touch and smooth her hair. Still feeling scared, Jo looked at Stefan, but felt her face change to a 'I'm sorry' look. She knew that she didn't have to speak to him, for him to know how she was feeling. I'm so sorry, thought Jo, continuing to look at Stefan, I had no idea. Jo looked at Stefan more, and then he told her to remember the first night that they met, and to take slow long breaths. She slowly nodded, and attempted to do what Stefan reminded her to do.
Jo blinked slowly a few times to try and stop her head from completely blacking out. As she turned to face Stefan again, she saw him look in the direction of the lounge room, and saw his face had changed. His eyes looked more prominant, compared to last time she had seen them, well the last times she had seen them. Maybe when he was angry, they look worse than when we are intimate together, thought Jo. But really, this was a discussion for another time. Now she had to concentrate on feeling better.
As she felt that her breathing was starting to get a little better, but it was still along way to go, she heard Stefan practically growl at Damon, telling him to see what he had done to her. Just hearing Stefan telling his own brother to stay away from her and from him was something that might have sounded very harsh to any other human. But Jo knew what Damon was like, from what Stefan had told her, and it didn't surprise her that he was telling him to stay away from the both of them. Jo heard Damon saying something, but she was still trying to concentrate on the task at hand, and knew that she would find out all about it later from Stefan. He was there now, and that was all that mattered.

Once Stefan had entered Jo’s apartment, he felt his brother’s presence much stronger almost immediately, and of course he knew Damon would feel his presence before he showed his face. That voice of Damon’s when he said ‘well, hello brother’ was very irritating to Stefan. He really did hate his brother with a passion. In fact he probably hated his brother as much as he loved the human race. He didn’t even respond to Damon, he just glared at him, and then shouted out for Jo once, and then a second time louder when he got no response. Then Damon’s irritating voice again, telling him that she wasn’t in the room and to stop straining himself. Well, no words were spoken, but he just flew at Damon and slammed him into the living room wall. Even Damon’s curse words didn’t prompt Stefan to talk to him, he just kept his hand around Damon’s neck, keeping him against the wall, telling him to stay away from Jo.
Damon then laughed, which annoyed Stefan all the more, and he once more pressed his hand into Damon’s neck forcing him against the wall. He knew his face had changed, he could feel it, but he was feeling so much anger then, it was inevitable. When Damon spoke again, referring to Jo as ‘she’ Stefan could feel the anger build within him again. Stefan ignored him again, just tightening the grip around Damon’s neck once more. He just couldn’t find the words to speak to Damon, he just annoyed Stefan so much. Soon he saw Damon lift his hands up as if in surrender. He then said he would stay away from her, so Stefan pushed him into the wall once more and let go of him. But that was when Damon then added he would stay away from her once he had a piece of her. He wanted to fly at Damon again then, but right now his one main concern was for Jo. “You’ll keep.” Stefan headed toward the kitchen then, when he sensed that’s where she was.
As he got the breathing apparatus out and began to place it around Jo’s mouth, he heard Damon’s irritating voice once again, talking about his strength and had he been feeding on poor Josephine. Stefan shook his head, and looked at Jo. Stefan had taken to calling Jo ‘my love’ when not using her name, because that’s how he saw her, his love. “I’m sorry my love.” He was sorry that Damon had come back into his life, and he was sorry he had messed with his Josephine. Damon would pay, but not here, not now, not while Jo was ill again, and it was all Damon’s fault. He then snapped his head round in the direction of the living room again. “No, of course I’ve not been feeding on Josephine, you know I don’t do that. I’m not about to tell you why I’m more powerful.” He didn’t want Damon to go after Ryan, because he knew that Ryan was on the rampage to take out vampires such as Damon, and despite the fact Stefan hated him with a great passion, he was still his brother, if anybody was going to kill Damon, it would be himself, nobody else.
As Jo looked at Stefan, she gave him a look as if to say she was sorry, and then her thoughts came swimming into his head, saying she was sorry and she had no idea. Stefan gave her a weak smile as he continued to smooth down her hair. “Its fine my love, I’m the one whose sorry.” He was sorry for allowing himself to get this close to her, because he knew that Damon would soon be on the scene, and he knew how dangerous he was. Although, he had told Jo about Damon, so it wasn’t as if Damon would have been a complete surprise to her. “My being with you is dangerous for you.” He had to say it, and he was wondering if he should leave Jo, at least then she would be much safer. Although the very thought was killing him inside. He was so in love with Jo, he couldn’t begin to imagine what his life would be like without her in it.
He turned his attention back to Jo telling to remember the night they had met, and for her to take long slow breaths. He was so angry at the state she was in and it was all down to Damon. Jo hadn’t been like this since that first night Stefan had met her. He had then shouted in the direction of the living room telling Damon to stay away from Jo . Damon then said that he hadn’t touched his shiny new toy, apart from maybe play with her mind a bit which was fun. Stefan knew that she hadn’t been wearing her pendant, but he had hoped that she had managed to put it on while she was in the kitchen, but obviously the attack took over before she had a chance to put it on again. “It is not fun to mess with someone’s mind Damon. Why can’t you be more like me, why can’t you see the good in the human race? Why can’t you see what you do is evil? Why have you let yourself be the monster? You had a choice, I just don’t understand why you can do what you do.” Stefan’s voice wasn’t in anger, it was just in sadness and total disbelief. In a way even though he knew deep down it would be a miracle, but he had hoped that Damon would maybe have changed over the years.
Looking around and spotting the pendant, he reached for it, just in case Damon caught it first and tried to take it away. He then lifted Jo’s hand up to hold the apparatus for a second while he put the pendant around her neck and closed the clasp. He locked eyes with Jo then, “Josephine, please, do not ever take this off again.” He wasn’t angry with her, just made it clear he was serious, “I don’t ever want anything to happen to you.” He gave Damon another glare then. Jo was so precious to Stefan, he could not and would not allow anything to happen to her, and he especially wouldn’t let anything happen to her at the hands of his own brother.
Once more Stefan looked out toward the living room and in another growl type voice, repeated that he was to stay away from Josephine and to stay away from himself. Damon then said in a very mocking voice, why would he stay away, he was his brother, his family, why would he stay away. Stefan then watched as he moved away from him slightly and began to laugh. Stefan heard that evil laugh of his sound much louder in Jo’s apartment for some reason. “I wish I could say you weren’t my brother. I know you are, but I don’t have to like you and I certainly don’t have to love you and I can assure you I don’t. I despise every fibre of your being.” He then turned his attention back to Jo, as she was still his main concern right now, although he felt much better knowing she now had the pendant on again. Damon could no longer get into her head. “You feeling any better yet?” He hoped she was, although how the rest of this day was going to play out now was anybody’s guess. If he felt that he and Damon were going to have an all out fight, then he would definitely have to take it outside, there was no way, he was going to mess up Jo’s apartment, it wasn’t right. It was bad enough that by being with Jo he had allowed Damon into her life, without having the two of them at war and messing up her lovely apartment.

Damon gave her a sideways smile then, looking rather evil as he did it. She was just so easy to manipulate, especially when she commented about him getting to know her better. Once again he eyed her off, liking the thought of getting to know her much better. It was fun playing with her head, but it would be more fun to play with her body. After Jo had said maybe, after Damon had said that he would check out her place of work, she then got up and headed into the kitchen to get a glass of water.
Damon had called out if she was okay, after hearing the glass shatter in the kitchen, but nothing. He didn't get to make much of a move when his brother entered the apartment. After Damon tried to tell him that Jo wasn't anywhere in the room, Stefan came at him, with quite a lot of force, not what he was used to. Just feeling his body slam into the wall, and Stefan's hands on his neck, Damon could tell that something was different with his brother. He was stronger, but still not as strong as he was.
With all the seriousness on Stefan's face and in his voice, Damon had let out a laugh. He just loved egging his brother on so much, it killed him inside with laughter. Each time Damon tried to speak to Stefan, his grip got tighter around his neck. He knew that he didn't need to do this, but he pretended to cough, like his airway was getting cut off. Then Damon put his hands up in surrender. He was pushed into the wall again, and let go. Damon rubbed at his neck, talking more to Stefan. He started to walk, and then pretended to look scared, when Stefan said that he would keep. "Ooo, I am soooo scared of my little brother."
Damon continued to talk, knowing that each word he spoke would be just irrating Stefan so much. But really, he didn't care much. The only time he cared much about his brother was if and when he was in immediate danger. That was where Damon drew the line. Other then that, Damon loved playing with his brother, just being sarcastic and pretty much the annoying big brother, leaving a mass of destruction in his trail. That was how he liked it. Damon kind of knew that his brother wasn't feeding on Jo, but he just wanted to get a rise out of him. Just hearing Stefan say that he wasn't about to tell him why he was more power, made Damon all the more intrigued now, and knew that he would eventually find out. It really wasn't that hard for him to do that at all. Damon was more powerful, and he would use some or all of his abilities to find out how Stefan was getting stronger. He knew it wasn't the defenseless bunnies out there.
Damon could hear that Jo was saying sorry to Stefan in her head, and it made him chuckle a bit. Why would she be sorry. She just met the most powerful vampire around, and it wouldn't be the last time she would see him either, if Damon had anything to do with it. For a second, he got into Jo's head. You shouldn't be sorry. You should be glad to have met me baby. He then let a smirk cross his lips, wondering if she would say anything out loud. He let out a low whistle, as Stefan told Jo that he was the one that was sorry. Damon had to nod in agreement. Sure he was, thought Damon. Stefan still hadn't learnt his lesson about falling for humans. Once he was in love, Damon knew about it, and this time around it was rather massive. Just sensing the love that Stefan had for Jo was sickening. He had to admit that he hadn't been in love for a few decades at least, even though he had had some female companions. But nothing that he would honestly call a 'relationship' in his eyes. Whatever Stefan was feeling he wanted it too, and it was in the form of Josephine.
Again Damon nodded as Stefan said that it was dangerous for him to be with her. Well, really that was an understatement, and everything that he had just thought about was in relation to that danger. Damon was dangerous, especially to Stefan's friends and sexual partners. He had told Stefan that he hadn't touched his shiny new toy, only her mind that he thought was fun. Damon just shrugged at his brother, when Stefan said that it wasn't fun to mess with someone's mind. As the whole speech came about again, Damon stiffled a yawn, putting his hand over his mouth. "Well, I don't understand why you are like you are. But do I question it? Many times, but that is not the point. You annoy me, I annoy you, what more do you want? Oh wait. You want me to stay away from Jo, and you want me to be like you. Too fucking bad, I am not doing any of it."
Damon leant against the wall leading to the kitchen, just thinking about how he liked how he turned out. So what if he liked feeding off humans, and enjoyed killing. In truth, he could have killed Jo right at the doorway earlier when she opened it. But no, he didn't do it. Why? Because he wanted to see what she was like, and torment Stefan more. Damon wanted what Stefan had, and he had enjoyed the little spontaneous playdate until his brother spoiled his fun.
Damon moved over to the fridge, wondering if Stefan might keep his stash of blood in there, as he seemed to practically live at Jo's apartment, but no such luck. He sucked his teeth, shaking his head, and closed the fridge. Damon turned around just in time to see Stefan put on 'the' necklace, and told Jo to never take it off as he didn't ever want anything to happen to her. He saw that glare from Stefan, and Damon had to restrain himself from laughing. "Aww. How nice. I don't want anything to happen to Jo either. That is so romantic... Not!" Then Damon let another laugh vibrate around the kitchen. He thought he was going to seriously chuck right there and then.
Damon slowly made his way back to the lounge room, to sit on the lounge that he was originally sitting, as he played with Jo's mind. He turned and had to ask why would he stay away. He had put on the sincere voice and look, but it had gotten too much, and Damon laughed. When Stefan said that he wished that he could say that Damon wasn't his brother, and continued to ramble on in Damon's ears. He put his hand over where his heart should be, and give a hurt look. "Aww, that hurt Stefan. If I had a beating heart right now, I would feel the pain of a knife going through it. But I don't. So none of your words are going to do any damage." Damon then went into the lounge room, and sat back down.
He tuned his hearing into the continuing conversation between Stefan and Jo, even if it was all Stefan's talking right now. Damon just couldn't keep his mouth shut after what Stefan asked Jo. Calling out with a grin, Damon said, "Sure she is fine. She is probably just playing up for your attention."

Jo was so glad to see Stefan at that point, even if she wasn't in the best state to physically thank him. She didn't know what would have happened if he hadn't come. For all she knew, Damon might have come in, and not giving it a second thought to biting her. If Stefan hadn't been quick enough, he might have indeed come into her apartment to find her dead, or worse, a vampire. She didn't think that either senario would have been good.
She kind of heard Damon talk, but she was just concentrating on trying to come out of her panic attack. Jo looked at Stefan the entire time, but occassionally resting her head back on the cupboard under the bench. Though she saw Stefan turn to talk to her, saying sorry. After that night of passion, Jo had noticed that Stefan had started to put 'my love' after anything he said directly at her. She thought it was just as nice as him calling her 'Josephine', and was already kind of used to it. Jo wanted to reply, but was just trying to control her breathing, which was hard to do initially, as she still felt a bit panicy with Damon there still.
Then Jo heard what Stefan said to Damon, and she wondered if there was going to be a heat argument between them there and then. She needed Stefan more than ever now, and wasn't sure if she could handle her own situation while they went at it between them. If something happened to Stefan, if they had their little fighting match, she would end up having to deal with Damon herself, and she didn't want that.
Jo had given him the look, and thought about how sorry she was, and that she had no idea. Then after a second, she heard Damon's voice in her head, which made her stare at Stefan. Without thinking, Jo thought something. I am not sorry. I am glad that I met Damon. Jo then frowned, and shook her head, and felt scared all over again. But then Jo heard Stefan say that he was sorry. She wondered why he was sorry, when it was she that let Damon in. Jo frowned, as she continued to try and breath into the aparatus. But before she could think anymore, Stefan told her that him being with her was dangerous for her. Her heart skipped a beat then, thinking why he was saying that. True it might be dangerous to be around him, or be with him, but they were together, and that was all that mattered to Jo. But it seemed that Stefan was thinking more about her, and her safey. It might be a good thing, but Jo wasn't so sure what he was really getting at.
Jo listened to the conversation that was going on between Damon and Stefan. Or she should say the good coming from Stefan, and the sarcastic remarks coming from Damon. She just couldn't believe that two brothers could be so different, but she put it down to what they were now. She heard Stefan mention that it wasn't fun about messing with people's miinds. In all honestly Jo had no idea that it was happening for a few moment, when in Damon's company. So in her mind, it seemed, that Damon was pretty powerful with the whole mind control thing, and that was kind of scary. Now she understood that she should have put on her necklace that Stefan gave her before she had opened the door. It was in the past now, and she had learnt her lesson.
Just as Jo had been thinking about the whole pendant thing, Stefan had found it, and once her hand was on the aparatus to hold it in place, Stefan soon put it around her neck once more. So now she was safe from either of them from getting into her head. But at this point in time, Jo still wasn't talking so hoped that she could somehow communication with Stefan, if and when he asked her a question. That soon came about, when Stefan locked eyes with her, and asked her not to ever take it off again. He then added that he didn't ever want anything to happen to her. Jo was still quite emotional, and tried to blink back tears as she nodded. She knew that Stefan wasn't angry at her, but still she felt like she had let him down a little. Soon she looked away from him, and felt a couple of stray tears roll down her cheeks. With her free hand, Jo wiped them away, hoping that she would calm down soon.
Jo had seen in the background, behind Stefan, that Damon had opened her fridge, and she wondered why he would do that. Really, did he eat human food when he fed on human blood? That was just a bit of a suspicious move on his part, and Jo didn't like it at all. When Stefan had said that he didn't want anything to happen to her, she heard Damon's comment, and just looked at him, with not much expression on her face at all. Then that laugh just got to her, making her shiver slightly. Jo just wanted him gone so that she could be back to normal.
Jo heard then what Stefan was saying about his brother. It was harsh, but again she was reminded of who they were, and what Damon was and what he was capable of. She couldn't imagine being angry at a sibling, as she had none, but just seeing Stefan's other side of him, being like this, was a eye opening experience. She hoped that she would never see him like this at all, ever again, even if the anger was directed at Damon, and not herself.
Stefan then asked if she was feeling better yet. Just when she was about to answer him, Jo heard Damon call out to Stefan, answering instead. She would never do that, and she wished that he would just shut up already. Jo turned to Stefan, and slowly removed the aparatus from her mouth, enough to talk to him. "The breathing is getting a bit better." She put it back over her face, breathing in deeply, then removed it again. "If you want to go and sort out your brother, you can. I just want him gone." Jo put the aparatus back over her face, and lent back into the bench cupboards. She was feeling a bit better, but really, she wouldn't be fully better till Damon left her apartment.

{ooc - I hope I responded to everything in order - if not - I apologise - 1579 words - eek lol}
Stefan shook his head in disappointment at Damon when he pretended to be choking as if his airways were closed. Everybody knew vampires didn’t breathe. He was being a total irritating pain in the ass to Stefan as usual. Stefan so badly wanted to say something, but figured Damon wasn’t worth his energy, so just kept his grip around his neck. Then Stefan pushed him into the wall once more before letting him go to see to Jo, telling Damon he’d keep. Stefan let out a bit of a growl when Damon spoke, saying he was so scared of his little brother. Stefan turned, fury on his face, “So you should be.” Stefan knew he was getting stronger since beginning to take the human blood, and he knew the more he drank, the stronger he would become. Eventually, in a couple of weeks maybe, he’d be just as strong as his brother, if not stronger, and he’d be able to take him in a fight easily.
When Stefan had told Damon he wasn’t about to tell him why he was getting stronger, he had almost expected Damon to say something. However he didn’t, which made Stefan know that Damon was working out a way to find out from his brother why he was stronger. Stefan would never tell Damon though, as he knew that Ryan was out to get vampires like his brother, the evil ones, and Stefan, despite his hatred for Damon couldn’t allow for another to take his life. It would be Stefan or nobody.
When Stefan heard Jo say in her thoughts that she was glad she had met Damon, he knew that he was up to his tricks again. He turned with a frown, growling once more, “Will you stay out of her head.” It was at that point Stefan found the pendant and put it back on around Jo’s neck. He didn’t want Damon to get into her head anymore. God only knows what kind of thoughts he could put into her head. Stefan knew that it would be difficult to communicate with Jo while she was using the breathing apparatus, but he just couldn’t take the chance of Damon getting into her head again. Stefan could see that Jo was very upset, as he watched the tears fall. He gave her a warm smile then, and used one of his hands to gently run over her hair. “It is alright my love. I will not let him destroy what we have. None of this is your fault.” He hated to see Josephine so upset, it was taking him back to the night he had met her, a night which had ended in heated passion between them; a night which he had fallen irrevocably in love with Josephine Harding.
Stefan had a fair idea why Damon had looked in Jo’s fridge. He was obviously looking for Stefan’s human blood stash. Well he wouldn’t find it there. Stefan tried his best not to drink the blood in front of Jo, as it wasn’t nice for her to see. If they somehow became a proper couple, living together permanently, he would speak to her about it, and hope she would be fine, but until then, he kept his stash at his own house. He only ever went to Ryan when he needed more, and so far, the amount Ryan had already given him had been enough to sustain him.
Stefan was getting really annoyed with Damon now, why the hell couldn’t he just go and leave him and Jo alone. Stefan knew that was too much to expect from the likes of Damon. People like him took pleasure in annoying people and causing them pain whether that would be physical or mental pain. Of course Stefan had then mouthed off with his whole ‘why can’t you be more like me’ speech, which really, Stefan couldn’t understand it. He had a choice like Stefan, he could have chose to live like Stefan did, but he seemed to get a kick out of being the animal. Something Stefan will never understand. Damon then spoke back, with his typical return speech, about not being able to understand why Stefan was the way he was. “Because, big brother, I hate what I am. I hate what we have to do to survive. The only reason why we annoy each other is because you have never known what it is like to be in love since you became a vicious monster. You hate to see me happy, so this is what you do. Maybe you should go out there and find someone, because you are not having Josephine. Actually please do not, I’d hate for some poor unsuspecting female to fall under your spell.”
As Damon leaned against the wall, Stefan could only glance at him every so often and just glare. He hated Damon so much, why was he here doing this to him, again. Why couldn’t he just change, become the better person. Maybe he could tell Damon about Ryan, maybe if he could get human blood produced for him to drink without taking another human life he might learn to become like himself. Stefan laughed to himself, as if Damon would do that. He liked killing humans, he liked feeding on them, something Stefan would never get used to, Damon was a human himself, many years ago.
After Stefan had put on the pendant, and said he didn’t want anything to ever happen to her, Damon spoke again, making Stefan look up at him and growl from the back of his throat again. “Why can you not just shut up Damon, you are really, really irritating me.” Not that Stefan should have bothered saying that. He knew fine well that’s what Damon liked to do, irritate him. Maybe if Damon didn’t get a rise out of him, he would give up. Then again, this was Damon, so maybe not. Naturally Stefan knew his words would have no affect on Damon, but he had said them anyway, so when Damon replied, Stefan just shook his head. “How about I just remove that wonderful ring you have and then drive a stake through your heart which no longer beats? Do you think that would hurt?” His voice was cold and filled with hate. He had never wanted Jo to witness him and his brother like this, but what could he do?
After Stefan had asked Jo if she was any better, the voice of Damon came into Stefan’s head annoying him once more. Having a go at him was bad enough, but bringing his love into the equation was one step too far for Stefan. “You really are low Damon, if that is what you think. Josephine is not playing up, you caused this, and if you do not leave, I will be forced to make you leave.” Whatever Jo had said to Damon before Stefan arrived, there might be little he could do to keep her safe outside of her home, but she could un-invite Damon into her home, and that would at least stop him from getting into her house again when Stefan wasn’t around. That would at least be one worry sorted out.
Jo then held the apparatus away from her briefly to answer Stefan’s question, telling him the breathing was getting a bit better. Stefan smiled, “Good. I really am sorry about all of this you know.” When he and Jo had a chance to be alone together, he was going to suggest that maybe his being with her wasn’t such a good thing, for her. Yet the mere thought was tearing him in two. When you irrevocably fall in love with someone, it wasn’t something you could just retract, it was a permanent thing. Stefan would feel complete pain and feel like his life was not worth living if he could no longer have Josephine in it. He soon saw Jo remove the apparatus from her mouth again and when she spoke, she was telling him if he wanted to go sort out his brother, he could, she just wanted him gone. Well, she wasn’t the only one who wanted him gone.
Stefan nodded at her once, and leaned across to kiss the top of her head, “Very well my love.” He then stood up, locking his eyes with her own, how could he give her up? It would be impossible to give her up, impossible to fall out of love with her. He couldn’t do it. He then leaned into her ear, and even though he knew Damon had good hearing, he hoped that it would be quiet enough for him not to hear, “You must un-invite him to your home. At least then he cannot get in here again when I am not here.” He then walked back through into the living area. With his hands on Damon’s shoulders he pushed him in the direction of the kitchen. “Say it Josephine my love, say it now, before I take him outside.” Once she had told him he was uninvited into her home, he could then take Damon outside and do what he had to do and know that he wouldn’t be able to get back into her home again.

Damon could feel that what he had been pretending to do was annoying the shit out of his brother. But did he care? No, not in the slightest. That was the fun of being with his brother. Damon got to annoy him so much, that in the end they would have an all out fighting match, which he loved getting into. It was the best fun to have when you reunite with a sibling or family member after so many years. It was sometimes the highlight of the whole thing. After Damon replied to Stefan, about him being so scared of his brother, he rolled his eyes at Stefan's comment. "Whatever," he mumbled under his breath.
As Stefan growled at him to stay out of Jo's head, Damon chuckled. "Now why would I do that, when it is so easy to get in and out of there." He put his finger to his mouth. "I wonder how easy it is to get into her pants. But really, it shouldn't be that hard, seeing as you got to have some fun easily enough in one night." So now Stefan knew that he had been there that night that they had made passionate love. Damon sighed slightly, waiting for whatever was to come from his dear brother. As Stefan spoke to Jo about it not being her fault, Damon moved his hand open and shut, like it was talking. Blah, blah, blah thought Damon, this is so boring.
Damon again rolled his eyes, as his brother replied more, in regards to what Damon had asked. Here we go again, thought Damon. "Well little brother, I kind of like who I am. I like preying on the weak, feeding on them, then making them forget that I just did what I did to them. If they are pretty, I just keep them around longer." He waved his arms around, "So what if I don't know what it is like to be in love. I know that I can just have a go at the next girl you find." Damon smirked then, knowing that he had tried with Jo, but he knew he hadn't given up at all yet. He never gave up until he got what he wanted. Just hearing about Stefan telling him not to do something was making him what to do it all the more. So he made sure that he would hit the down after this little adventure, and see what he could scrounge up.
Once again, Damon had to laugh a little at his brother's request. "Oh I'm irratating you? And I will be doing it the day you die brother, don't you worry." He kind of liked the idea of just annoying the shit out of his brother for the rest of their days. It had been over one hundred years already, and a few more hundred years were going to be fun for Damon. He just shook his head a little, when Stefan suggested that he take his ring off of him, and put a stake through his heart. "Yes, Stefan, how about that? I am sure Josephine here would love to see her lover murder his own undead brother right in front of her eyes." Damon looked at Jo, and made his eyes wide for a second. "Wouldn't that be fun."
As Damon had sat on the lounge, he had commented that Jo was fine, and she was just playing up to him for his attention. Listening to what Stefan's reply to that was made him smirk. Damon turned to face the direction of the kitchen, so that they could both hear him. "You and who's army Stefan. You and I both know that you can't do anything to get rid of me. But I did notice the strength that you have now. So it might be fun to see you try." As Damon reached for a magazine on the table next to the lounge, he could feel what Stefan was feeling right then, after Stefan told Jo that he was sorry about all of it. "Oh Stefan. If you are thinking about doing what I think you are going to do, then maybe I might have a chance with her. Maybe she would prefer the bad boy, rather than the goody two shoes?"
Just as Damon began to flip through the magazine, he could make out what Stefan was whispering in Jo's hear. He shook his head, "I can here you in there, you know. And how did I guess that you were going to suggest that little trick." Damon got engrossed in the models wearing the bikinis, he didn't notice Stefan was right on top of him. He soon was pulled up, and forcefully directed into the kitchen. All Damon could do was smirk in the direction of Jo, as Stefan forced her to uninvite Damon.

{ooc - I think I am just going to make Jo concentrate on what Stefan is saying to her, but put in a couple of things that she has seen Damon do or hear what he had said if she wants to. But it shouldn't be that hard since I am normally pretty much doing the reply for her right after Damon.}
Jo didn't like the fact that Damon had been in her head once again. She had felt all hazy and weird again, after she had told Stefan in her thoughts, that she was glad that she had met Damon. If she had had her pendant on, this all wouldn't have happened at all. If she hadn't of let Damon in, she wouldn't have been in this mess at all. But Stefan told her that none of this was her fault, as he gently ran his hand through her hair. Though in some ways she was blaming herself. It had been an instant connection between them, and in some ways, she couldn't see Damon, or anyone breaking that connection.
Jo continued to breath through the aparatus, while Stefan and Damon exchanged heated words, or more like sarcasm from Damon. As Stefan spoke back to Damon, about hating what he was, Jo really took notice of what he was saying. So it seemed that Damon had never had love like Stefan, and that it might just be punishing him deep inside. But that thought soon left Jo's head, when Damon came back again with his second comment. Just hearing what Damon was saying, really made her understand how he work, somewhat. Then that smirk he gave her, just sent shivers down her spine. Just leave already thought Jo, even though no one could hear her say it.
Jo almost laughed when Stefan said that Damon was irratating him. That was an understatement. He was irratating both of them. Every word Damon spoke, and the tone he used, was irratating, and also a little creepy. Jo was definately relieved that she met Stefan, and not Damon a week ago. She was glad that Damon was Stefan's brother, and not her own. Jo didn't know how Stefan could stand it, but she knew that Damon hadn't seen Stefan for a few years, so it was like he was making up for time lost somehow. Jo turned back to concentrate on her breathing, but then heard Stefan suggest what he could do to Damon. She instantly looked in their direction, and was shocked. So Stefan would kill his own, irratating, older brother? But then she heard Damon's comeback, and just closed her eyes, to try and block out his voice, which was hard to do.
Jo was about to reply to Stefan after he asked her if she was feeling any better, but Damon got in first. How could he think that she would be playing up to get Stefan's attention. She had his attention from day one, so there was no need to continuing to try and get it more. Jo was glad for Stefan's reply, as it was true. Damon's appearance had made her have a severe panic attack. It was all his fault. Of cause Damon had a comeback, and it did make Jo think again that maybe if there was a fight between them, that Damon would win, and Jo would have to fend for herself. She was strong, but really, for all she knew Vampires were stronger, much stronger.
Jo finally told Stefan that her breathing was getting a bit better. As he again apologised, Jo shook her head. She didn't say anything, as he had already told her to not apologise, and here Stefan was doing the same thing she had been doing. After using the aparatus again, and then pulling it away from her face, Jo spoke again, telling him if he wanted to go and sort out Damon, she would be fine, as she just wanted him gone. Jo closed her eyes, as Stefan kissed the top of her head. After he got up, he locked eyes with Jo, and she smiled weakly at him through the aparatus.
She then watched as he leant towards her ear, speaking so quietly to her, like he didn't want anyone to here what he was saying. Her eyes roamed the kitchen as he spoke to her, telling her waht she must do, in order to stop Damon from coming into her apartment ever again. She looked at him, as he walked into the lounge room. What was she meant to say to him? How was she meant to word it to Damon, someone who was only after her for one thing, and one thing only? The next thing Jo knew, Damon was standing near her, with Stefan behind him, with his hands on Damon's shoulders.
That smirk coming from Damon was just making her uneasy all over again. Jo just looked at Stefan, as he asked her to uninvite him, before he took Damon outside. Her eyes darted from Stefan's face, to Damon's, back to Stefan's. Jo removed the aparatus from her face, and looked at Stefan more. "I, uh..." She thought for a second, then felt a bit more stronger, standing up, holding onto the bench to steady herself. Jo looked right at Damon's smug look, and knew what to say.
"You are no longer invited here. You are not allowed into my apartment, ever!"
{ooc - and thinking once Damon is gone, then Jo and Stefan could just have a couple of posts here and there together then finish if off? Just a thought.}

{ooc - I agree about having a couple of Jo/Stefan posts after Damon leaves - it will tie it up nicely with Stefan calming Jo down and telling her how sorry he is etc., etc., but I think I need for Josefan to work together almost all the time - I am so loving them}
Stefan was pissed at his brother, but that wasn’t really anything unusual. Damon always managed to go out of his way to make Stefan’s life a misery. You would think after the years they had been on this earth, he would have seriously given up by now, but no. So it was no surprise then, when Stefan told Damon he should be scared that he responded with a ‘whatever’. Stefan just shook his head really his brother’s response wasn’t worth commenting on, as always, his main concern was for Josephine.
When Stefan told Damon to stay out of Jo’s head, his brother’s response was pretty much what he had expected. So Stefan chose to ignore it, but what he said next really annoyed Stefan, no, it didn’t annoy Stefan, it angered him. “Why must you always turn the conversation to low grounds Damon? I cannot believe you watched us, you really are truly disgusting Damon Winchester.” Stefan growled at him, and once again flew at him, pushing him down into the sofa this time, his hand once again tightly around Damon’s neck. “Leave her alone, you will never, ever get to be that close to a woman like Josephine, you do not deserve her and she is way too good for you.” Stefan pushed Damon into the sofa once more, and let go as he quickly made his way back into the kitchen, found the pendant to put it around Jo’s neck, so Damon could no longer get into her head at least. However, before he got a chance to put the pendant on, he heard Jo’s thoughts, and Stefan just locked eyes with her own and shook his head with a warm smile. “Stop blaming yourself my love.” He knew Damon would have no chance of getting into her pants, as he put it, because he knew how much Jo loved him, not Damon. Stefan then closed the clasp on the pendant. Now neither of them could get into her head, just the way Stefan liked it really.
When Stefan conversed to Jo, he saw what Damon was doing with his hand, but again, he chose to ignore it. Sometimes when it came to his brother, it was best to ignore what he did, rather than to fight back. Stefan knew a lot of what Damon did was to get a rise out of him, and most of the time it worked, but Stefan also knew when he failed to bite, it annoyed Damon, because he knew he was no longer getting to his younger brother. When Damon commented on liking the way he was, Stefan could only shake his head. He truly was disgusting, annoying and irritating. “Oh I know you like who you are. I will do everything in my power to make sure you never hurt another innocent female again.” However Stefan knew that wasn’t going to be an easy task, because he couldn’t keep his eye on his brother twenty-four seven as much as he would like to. The only person he wanted to keep his eye on, the only person who would always get his full attention, was Josephine. When Damon said he didn’t care if he never knew what it was like to be in love, he would just have a go at the next girl Stefan found, he shook his head again. “You might be waiting a long time then, as I do not see myself with another girl for quite some time. My heart belongs to Josephine now and for eternity.”
Stefan knew he should never have said anything about Damon irritating him, because, as if on cue, Damon went on about the whole irritating thing, and doing it until the day he dies thing. It was just something else to try and get a rise out of Stefan. Stefan knew that he and his brother would probably have many meetings now, but he truly wanted him out of Jo’s apartment, he just wanted to calm Jo down, and hold her in his arms, and tell her how much he loved her, and protect her. He couldn’t do that while Damon was around, because he felt his concentration was on Damon more than Jo and he hated it that way. So, once again Stefan chose to ignore Damon’s words even though it was very difficult. However, Damon always managed to say something else, which Stefan couldn’t ignore. It always happened; Stefan would be able to ignore one thing, but jump to another. Stefan turned to Damon, and growling once more, “You honestly think I would do it in front of Josephine, and make her feel worse than she already does right now? Only you do things like that Damon, only you do not give a damn about someone else’s feelings. That’s the difference between you and me.” Stefan paused for a second, “Well, one difference, I care about people, you do not. You never have and never will. Even when you were human you were an annoying, worthless piece of shit. It really is no wonder as a vampire you allowed yourself to be the demon, funny you should be called Damon, only one vowel of a difference and it would be Demon Winchester.” Stefan spat the words out in sheer anger and frustration.
After Stefan said Damon had caused Jo to feel the way she was and if he didn’t leave he would be forced to make him leave, Damon’s reply was sarcastic once more. Again Stefan’s extra strength was mentioned, but again Stefan wasn’t about to give anything away about that. However, he did reply to Damon, “Oh no army Damon, just me.” He might not be quite as strong as Damon yet, but he was damn well strong enough to get him out of Josephine’s apartment, and with her verbally telling Damon he was uninvited into her home, it would be enough to put him out and keep him out. Damon’s next words would normally have got a rise out of Stefan, but he was too concerned with Jo by this point, that he ignored them. He was finding that ignoring Damon was much easier than constantly answering him back, especially when Damon just came back with an even smarter and sarcastic reply than his previous one.
However, after whispering into Jo’s ear, telling her what to do, what to say to Damon, he heard Damon’s annoying voice once more. So he had heard him, but he had half expected it, because vampires had excessively good hearing. Stefan ignored him once more, as he wanted to get to Damon without any warning, and it worked. He was soon grabbing at him and turned him to face the kitchen, keeping his hands on Damon’s shoulders and then told Jo to tell Damon he was no longer invited into her home. Stefan looked at Jo, nodding his head, hoping to give her some sort of encouragement, he would love to help her, but only Jo could say it. The words had to come from Jo or it just wouldn’t work. He noticed she seemed to be stumbling at first, and the whole time Stefan kept a firm hold on Damon, just in case he wanted to try and do something.
Then Stefan saw Jo begin to slowly stand up, and he locked eyes with her once more, smiling at her, nodding his head, hopefully giving her encouragement again. Once those words were out of Jo’s mouth, in a strong voice, which made Stefan smile all the more, he about turned Damon and marched him right out of her apartment. Once they were both outside, Stefan knew he could really lose it, and he threw Damon up against the wall. “Do not ever try to do that again. You do not go anywhere near Josephine, do you hear me? If you do, I will not hesitate to kill you as much as I really would rather not do it. The world would just feel like a much better place without you in it. You are filth.” Stefan then let go of Damon, shaking his head, “You are not worth my time.” He then went back into Jo’s apartment, feeling content, knowing that Damon could not worm his way back into her apartment again. Now Jo knew who he was, there was no way she would invite him back in again, was there.
He was soon back inside the apartment and he immediately made his way to Jo, and wrapped her in his arms, kissing the top of her head once more. “I am so sorry Josephine. My brother is a very dangerous being. I should not have allowed myself into your life. I would have known Damon would show his face. It’s dangerous for me to be around you. I love you Josephine, I love you like I have never loved anyone before, and because of that, I cannot allow for you to get hurt. You are better without me in your life.” He let go of her then, and made his way into her living room. He didn’t even sit on her sofa, he just stood there, looking at his feet, not really knowing what to do. Part of him needed to leave to protect her, to keep her safe, and the other part of him, didn’t want to leave, because he was connected to her now, and he knew he always would be.

All Damon could do was chuckle, then laugh at his brother's comment. "Well, I had to see what my brother was up to." And it seems you having some fun as well, thought Damon, as he smirked to himself. But then Stefan flew at him, pushing him into the lounge. His hand around Damon's neck again. Stefan spoke angrily at him, telling him to leave Josephine alone, and that he will never be that close to a woman like her. Damon looked at Stefan, and then burst out laughing, as Stefan pushed him into the lounge again, letting him go. Damon rubbed as his neck, as he watched his brother head back into the kitchen. Boy, he is getting stronger, thought Damon.
"Good. Another thing I like. The friendly bantering between siblings." Damon didn't care if Stefan tried to make sure that he never hurt another innocent female again, because really, Damon was stronger, and he could will any innocent female to do whatever he wanted. Unless they had the pendant that Jo obviously had now. That was a pity, because he could feel that she was obviously very strong. When Stefan commented about not being with anyone else, except for Jo, Damon raised his eyebrows. "Really? She is that good? Well, I wonder if she has a twin then." But then Damon thought of something that he wondered if his brother thought of. "But, what about as she grows older, and you stay this way. What will happen? All of it will change. Unless, you know, change her." Damon then clapped his hands once together. "Then you can be together forever." He grinned at his brother, then looked at Jo, wondering if she would ever agree to that.
Once again Stefan got so defensive, that it felt like a broken record to Damon's ears. "Well, not sure. Maybe it will be for the best that you put me out of my misery, and then she gets to see what a monster you really are, that is hiding inside of you. It needs to break out and be what it is meant to be. And that is a vicious demon. Then if you don't succeed in killing me, we can then work together, as you will be just like me. Then we can have good times." He then thought about what Stefan said about his name. "Well, maybe I should go to city hall and change it then. But how can I? My birth certificate would have to be changed to a more suitable date of birth."
After more words said, Damon was moved into the kitchen by Stefan, so that Jo could uninvite him into her apartment. He looked from Stefan, then at Jo, who seems to be having trouble looking at. Damon felt Stefan's grip on his shoulders, but he knew that he could easily get out of it, if he wanted. He just looked at her smugly, wondering if she had the guts to tell him where to go. But soon as that thought was in his head, she told him. Damon then glared at her, as if he knew that she was not strong enough to do something to him, but he was stronger. He soon felt his body move, directed by Stefan, and was soon outside her apartment. "Great. Just great."
Damon's body hit the wall, and he almost laughed at Stefan, as he spoke. "Well I know that I can't get in there," he said as he nodded in the direction of Jo's apartment, "But you can't protect her from where she works." He smirked, knowing that it was a public place, and he would be able to just go in and chat with her. Damon then watched as Stefan left him in the hallway of the apartment block. He moved away form the wall, and straightened his clothing up. Damon called out in a loud voice. "Whatever. I will just go find my own fun to have now then." Headed down the stairs and outside, beginning to find some better fun to have.
